A
Hi
I'm
Lisa
and
I'm
one
of
the
farmers
at
Deer,
Hollow
Farm,
and
this
morning,
I'm
gonna
be
sharing
with
you.
How
we,
milk,
our
cows
and
I'm,
going
to
be
milking.
Henry
headed
a
cow
over
there
and
she
is
ready
to
come
up
and
get
milk.
The
way
I
get
her
up
is
because
she
wants
to
eat
her
very
favorite
food
here
that
I
have
in
this
bucket.
A
A
A
It's
a
really
fancy
farm
word
for
animal
poop
and
we
don't
want
that
on
her
udder
ball
or
milking
because
it
might
end
up
in
our
milk
and
if
we
drink
that
now
would
make
us
black,
really
sick
and
it
might
end
up
going
inside
the
cow
and
making
her
sick
too.
So
we
want
to
wash
it
off
I'm,
just
using
hot
soapy
water,
just
like
you
would
use
to
wash
your
hands
just
to
get
off
any
crusts
of
mud
or
manure
on
there.
A
She's
all
wash
dryer,
nice
and
right
off
I
have
to
use
a
secondary
wipe
here
too,
and
this
really
kills
any
bacteria
or
germs
that
might
be
hanging
out
on
her
udder
here
and
that's
important
again,
because
when
I'm
milking
here,
I
open
up
that
bottom
of
the
teeth.
This
part
here
is
the
teeth
and
bacteria
and
germs
can
get
inside
of
that
teat
and
actually
go
in
make
her
sick
too.
So
we
want
to
wash
off
each
teat.
A
Has
four
teats
II
section
of
her
udder
is
like
its
own
separate
milk
container,
so
it
has
a
different
amount
of
milk
in
it,
and
the
teat
here
is
kind
of
like
the
top
of
a
baby
bottle,
and
it's
where
the
calves,
the
baby
cows,
would
nurse
around
it's
also
where
I'm
gonna
squeeze
the
milk
out
of
so
she
basically
has
four
upside-down
baby
bottles
hanging
off
of
her
all
the
time
and
now
that
each
tea
is
clean
and
I
know,
there's
no
bacteria
or
germs.
I'm
gonna
go
ahead
and
milk
her
by
hand.
A
First,
just
so,
I
can
check
the
milk
and
make
sure
she's
healthy
and
milky
I
am
going
to
just
check
her
milk
and
make
sure
that
she's
healthy
I
want
to
make
sure
that
the
milk
looks
clear,
there's
no
lumps
or
funny
colors.
That
would,
let
me
know,
she's
getting
sick.
The
way
I
do
that
is
I
use
a
technique
called
pinch
and
squeeze
I'll
show
you
on
my
hands.
If
you
want
to
follow
along
at
home
and
try
on
your
own
hands,
you
can
pretend
that
this
part
is
her
utter.
A
And
here
is
your
teat
hanging
down.
With
your
other
hand,
you'll
take
your
first
finger
and
thumb
and
you'll
just
pinch
around
the
top
of
the
teeth
that
traps
all
the
milk
and
the
teat
for
me.
So
it
doesn't
go
back
in
the
utter,
but
the
rest
of
my
fingers,
I'm
just
gonna
squeeze
the
milk
out
and
then
I'm
gonna.
Let
go
so
that
tea
can
refill.
A
Now
you
can
milk
a
cap
too,
all
right
here
we
go
so
I'm
pinching
around
the
top
of
the
teeth,
trapping
the
milk
in
there
and
now
I
am
going
to
squeeze
that
milk
out
holy
girl,
I'm
gonna.
Do
it
a
few
times
just
want
to
check
that
milk
looks
good,
no
lumps
no
funny
colors
I'm
gonna
squeeze
the
other
three
sections
here,
because
again
they
each
have
a
separate
round
of
milk,
and
so
one
section
could
be
sick,
while
the
others
are
all
clear,
beautiful.
A
Okay,
it
looks
lovely
all
right.
She
is
ready
to
have
the
Machine
put
on
her,
because
this
now
makes
about
three
gallons
of
milk
a
day
right
now,
which
is
a
lot
for
my
hands
and
I
only
have
two
hands.
She
does
four
sections,
so
I'm
gonna
use
my
machine
which
has
four
hands
it
pinches
and
squeezes
and
then
sucks
the
milk
down
the
tube
and
into
the
container.
For
me,
it's
a
little
bit
loud.
It
does
sound
like
a
vacuum
cleaner.
So
here
we
go.
A
All
right,
so
my
machines,
all
finished
whew
I'm,
really
thankful
I
have
it
because
it
does
my
job
for
me,
a
lot
faster
by
milking
out
all
those
gallons
of
milk,
but
I'm,
even
more
thankful
for
Henry
out
of
here,
because
she
makes
all
that
milk
and
I
really
like
to
drink
it.
I
also
love
some
of
the
other
products
that
we
get
from
milk.
Like
anybody
out.
There
have
an
answer:
yogurt,
yes
and
cheese,
YUM.
