Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
A
B
You
first
order
of
business
is
to
approve
the
minutes
from
the
meeting
of
October
19th.
A
A
A
B
A
I
think
I
think
ish
might
be
trying
to
talk.
Okay.
D
D
The
microphone
came
out
and
it
went
inside
so
fast
that
before
I
could
request
the
angle,
please
give
me
a
chance
to
address
and
apprise
members
that
what
good
work
the
senior
advisory
committee
is
doing
or
what
we
can
do
for
them.
Both
efforts
anyway,
I
look
forward
to
another
opportunity,
but
I'll
try
and
draw
the
attention
of
The
Honorable
members
of
city
center.
A
I
do
have
to
say:
ish
has
been
here
regularly,
at
least
once
sometimes
twice
a
week
talking
to
seniors
and
joining
in
our
program.
So
it's
been
nice
to
see
a
Sac
member
here
and
participating
and,
like
he
said,
asking
what
can
Sac
do
more
or
what
do
seniors
need?
More
of
so
thank
you
ish
for
that.
You.
B
Thank
you
very
much
appreciate
all
your
efforts
and
I'm
a
committed
report
from
the
senior
center
committee.
I
think
that
that
was
me
and
Myrna.
B
A
This
Saturday,
we'll
have
our
we
haven't,
had
our
Bazaar
since
2019,
so
that
is
our
handmade
craft,
fair
that
we
always
used
to
have
annually
the
Saturday
before
Thanksgiving,
but
due
to
covet,
we
weren't
able
to
have
it
for
the
last
two
years.
So
now
it
is
coming
back.
It
is
this
Saturday
we
have
spots
for
45
vendors
and,
as
of
today,
43
are
still
attending.
So
pretty
full.
There
will
be
live.
Entertainment
Anthony
has
set
up
four
groups
to
perform,
so
we'll
have
Bayer
ballet.
A
We
will
have
a
two
musical
groups,
one
of
them
being
a
high
school
one
of
them,
I,
don't
think
they're
a
high
school
but
two
musical
acts
and
then
to
round
off
the
show
will
be
our
Mountain
View,
Los
Altos,
adult
education
course
we'll
be
performing
holiday,
songs,
so
great
lineup.
There,
43
vendors
will
have
raffle
prizes
kindly
donated
prizes
from
the
vendors
and
really
looking
forward
to
bringing
it
back
and
hope.
A
B
Thank
you
and
the
senior
survey
subcommittee.
That's
Emma,
you're
muted,
too.
Well,
you
have
to
unmute
yourself,
okay,.
E
Am
I
unmuted?
Now?
Yes,
yes,
good!
Okay!
Things
have
taken
an
interesting
turn
day
before
yesterday.
I
got
a
message
from
John
sink,
who
is
apparently
the
head
of
this
particular
project
of
avenidus,
telling
me
that
avenidus
had
signed
a
contract
with
the
canoas
casoa
folks,
c-a-s-o-a
folks
to
do
the
survey
that
included
not
just
Palo
Alto
but
Mountain
View,
Los,
Altos
and
Los
Altos
Hills
as
well.
Well,
that's
interesting!
It
was
the
first
that
I
had
heard
about
it.
The
survey
actually
went
out
in
September.
E
They
collected
the
votes
in
October
and
they
are
in
avenidus
is
in
the
process
of
analyzing
the
results
right
now
and
that
they
will
get
back
to
us
as
soon
as
they
have
finished
the
analysis
project,
which
would
be
probably
in
time
for
the
next
SAC
meeting.
But
the
net
effect
was
that
since
has
basically
done
Mountain
View's
survey,
it's
our
own
efforts
should
be
moot
at
this
point.
E
E
How
much
more
I
don't
know,
but
I
can
tell
you
that
the
casoa
people
said
that
they
had
gotten
a
4.5
return,
which
is
pretty
good,
which
means
that
they
probably
did
a
reasonable
sampling
of
Mountain
View
people
as
well
as
Palo
Alto,
Los,
Altos
and
Los
Altos
Hills.
E
Message
from
John
says
basically
that
they
use
the
standard
casilla
questions
in
order
to
retain
the
ability
to
compare
local
results
with
national
benchmarks
and
to
facilitate
timely
execution
of
the
survey
research.
E
E
They
have
begun
to
study
the
results
and
their
intention
is
to
share,
keep
bindings
and
challenge
areas
first,
with
avenidus
leadership
for
the
overall
results
and
then
with
each
City's
policy
leadership
in
the
coming
months,
and
he
said
that
he
will
get
in
touch
with
us
as
soon
as
they
are
ready
to
do
that.
What
that
does
is
make
our
own
efforts
moot
until
we
find
out
what
the
results
are.
E
We
have
the
benefit
of
the
2019
survey,
to
be
able
to
compare
the
2022
results
with
them
and
see
whether
the
casoa
survey
actually
made
a
difference
in
terms
of
what
happened
to
our
seniors
during
the
pandemic.
E
E
However,
they
have
completed
a
survey
for
the
city
of
Saratoga
and
for
Los
Gatos,
and
they
have
proposals
out
for
this
kind
of
survey
in
two
or
three
other
cities
in
the
South
Bay
as
well,
which
implies
that
Santa
Clara
county
is
going
to
have
an
interesting
overall
look.
The
references
of
older
adults.
B
A
Thank
you,
Vicki
I,
just
muted-ish,
because
I
only
have
one
of
him
wait.
No,
there
is
two.
A
E
Were
you
able
to
hear
what
I
said?
Yes,.
E
E
Ahead:
okay,
that's
basically,
it
I
had
set
in
motion
a
request
to
city
council
members
to
look
into
the
fact
that
we
seem
to
be
hitting
a
wall
at
the
city
staff
level,
even
asking
for
the
twenty
thousand
dollars
that
the
casoas
people
said
it
would
take
to
fund
our
survey
and
while
I
was
dealing
with
that
and
trying
to
find
some
leeway
in
council's
mindsets
about
letting
us
have
twenty
thousand
dollars
for
a
survey.
This
information
came
from
from
John
cincadavenidus,
which
was
brand
new
information
to
me.
E
I
knew
that
Palo
Alto
was
doing
the
survey,
but
I
didn't
know
that
they
had
started.
I
certainly
didn't
know
that
they
had
finished
and
I
absolutely
did
not
know
that
they
had
included
Mountain
View,
Los,
Altos
and
Los
Altos
Hills,
and
they
survey
population.
So
I
basically
called
off
the
troops
and
said:
okay,
wait
we're
waiting
to
hear
from
avenidus,
and
so
that's
where
we
are
at
the
moment.
E
B
It's
going
to
be
interesting
to
see
what
it
says.
Absolutely.
E
The
fact
is
that
that
so
many
cities
and
towns
in
in
Santa,
Clara
County,
have
signed
up
for
this
survey,
says
some
interesting
things
about
the
importance
of
what
are
the
senior
population
in
Santa
Clara
County
thinks
and
feels
and
cares
about
I'm.
B
B
E
E
Anyway,
the
survey
was
online
and
it
covered
the
areas
that
I
mentioned,
and
there
were
six
areas
that
correspond
frankly,
with
most
of
the
livable
communities,
areas
that
are
cited
by
the
World
Health
Organization.
So
at
least
in
terms
of
scope.
This
has
a
lot
of
validity.
A
Yes,
I,
don't
know
if
you
recall.
Last
year
we
were
moving
forward.
We
were
told
that
every
year
you
would
need
to
approve
and
review
your
schedule
for
the
following
year.
So
in
the
sac
resolution
it
states,
you
must
have
10
meetings
so
now.
If
anybody
wanted
to
change
anything
would
be
the
time
to
do
it
or
if
you
want
to
stick
with
your
normal
schedule,
the
third
Wednesday
at
2
p.m,
with
the
exception
of
no
meeting
in
August
and
December.
B
A
And
I
just
wanted
to
confirm
that
you
all
received
the
memo
I
sent
out
that
city
council
is
creating
a
resolution
that
all
meetings
will
return
in
person
beginning
in
February
yeah.
So
if
you,
if
you
keep
your
meeting
schedule
the
same,
our
January
meeting
will
still
be
virtual.
However,
in
February
2023
would
be
our
in-person
meeting
without
the
option
of
hybrid
okay.
B
B
Okay,
we've
done
that.
Okay,
now
there's
the
senior
center
update.
Actually
we've
had
quite
a
bit.
Is
there
anything
else
you
wanted
to
add
Ashley.
A
For
the
the
meeting
schedule,
Senior
Center
update-
oh
yes,
that's
me!
Okay,
so
I
am
I
know.
It
says
November
here,
I'm
mostly
going
to
talk
about
November,
but
I
am
going
to
talk
about
two
things
for
December
since
I
won't
see
you
all
in
December,
so
we've
had
three
workshops
this
month.
All
well.
We've
had
two
of
them,
the
third
ones
tomorrow,
so
we
had
our
local
pollinators.
So
it
was
about
hummingbirds,
butterflies
and
bees.
A
These
types
of
workshops
are
always
some
of
our
biologists
out
at
Shoreline
as
usual,
very
well
attended,
and
then
we
had.
We
had
to
reschedule
our
Medicare
annual
enrollment
workshop
for
next
Tuesday,
expecting
a
big
crowd
for
that
one.
As
you're
aware
Medicare,
enrollment
is
right
now
through
December,
so
we
always
hold.
This
Workshop
again
usually
well
attended,
and
then
tomorrow
is
our
legal
Health.
Workshop
again
we
do
this
Workshop.
A
Once
a
year,
it's
hosted
by
Sala
and
it's
usually
very
well
attended,
and
on
top
of
that
tomorrow
our
CSA
Our
Community,
Services
Agency,
who
runs
our
nutrition
program,
will
be
having
their
annual
Thanksgiving
luncheon.
It's
all
sold
out
so
they're
serving
250
people
again.
All
of
this
is
cooked
on
site.
Gabriel
has
that's
our
Chef.
He
has
been
preparing
the
turkey
since
Monday.
So
big
event
here,
if
you
plan
on
coming,
come
early
because
parking
fills
up
carpool
again
great
we're
happy
to
have
this
back
in
person
this
year.
A
This
was
drive
through
last
year,
so
this
will
be
the
first
wait.
No
is
it
impressed
I'm,
not
sure?
No,
it
was
not,
and
then
our
Bazaar,
which
we've
already
talked
about,
is
this
Saturday
10
to
3,
if
you're
in
the
area,
if
you
want
to
stop
by
performances,
start
at
10,
30
I
want
to
say
the
last
one
Ends
by
2
30
so
anywhere
between
there
you'll
catch,
a
live
performance
and
then
I
know
I'll
see
ish
December
14th
will
be
our
holiday
Gala.
A
He
was
at
our
Fall
Dance,
so
again
expecting
a
big
crowd
for
the
holiday
Gala,
as
I
mentioned
in
I.
Think
of
the
October
meeting
I
talked
about
how
our
September
dance
was
huge,
so
we
are
expecting
a
big
turnout
for
bargala
in
December
and
then
for
the
first
time
again,
since
2019
Anthony
has
brought
back
cocoa
with
a
cop,
previously
titled
coffee
with
a
cup,
but
it
we
are
going
with
cocoa
with
a
cop
this
year
that
will
be
Tuesday.
A
A
So,
if
you
want
to
you
know,
they
usually
try
to
send
as
many
officers
as
they
can
so
really
light-hearted
fun.
Community
involvement,
if
you
guys
are
available
and
in
the
area,
would
love
to
see
you
guys
here
and
then
CSA
will
also
have
their
holiday
lunch
in
Friday,
December,
16th,
so
back
to
back
big
lunches
for
them
again.
A
Will
there
they'll
serve
250
and
they
will
sell
out
again
but
very
busy
season
for
us
here
in
from
October
to
December,
and
we
are
happy
to
be
back
in
the
full
swing
and
providing
so
much
to
our
community.
B
And
our
committee
Round
Table,
we
don't
actually
have
any
questions
raised
by
sac,
so
the
approval
to
agendize
for
future
meetings
can
be
reached.
Oh
if
we
vote
and
decide,
we
want
to
continue
with
the
Round
Table.
B
A
A
A
A
So
you
guys
all
have
her
contact
info
if
you
wanted
to
reach
out,
but
she
will
no
longer
be
serving
on
sack
for
the
remainder
of
her
term.
We
hope
she
comes
back
as
so
many
of
you
have
so
we'll
see
if
she
comes
back
once
her
schedule
lightens
up
a
bit.
E
As
some
of
you
know,
I
have
been
on
both
the
advisory
Council
for
Source
wise,
which
is
the
Area
Agency
on
Aging
for
our
County,
and
also
been
on
the
Santa
Clara
County
Senior
Care,
commission
I
am
on
leave
until
next
August
on
that,
but
I
attend
all
the
meetings.
One
of
their
ongoing
projects
is
a
a
county-funded
pilot
project
at
the
moment
to
support
senior
adult
care
in
in
the
county
and
in
providing
scholarships
for
low-income
people
who
cannot
otherwise
afford
to
attend
the
project.
E
The
funding
is
secure
for
at
least
another
year
after
that
it
needs
to
be
able
to
find
a
way
to
support
itself
and
that's
going
to
be
a
challenge.
It
may
come
to
us
for
assistance.
E
I
know
we
don't
have
any
money,
but
it
could
be
things
that
we
can
do
to
help
this
very
very
worthwhile
program
stay
alive
for
those
who
have
never
been
exposed
to
this
before
the
adult
programs
across
this
County
are
fundamentally
nine
a.m
until
3
P.M
give
or
take
half
an
hour
on
either
end
or
people
who
come
in
and
spend
that
portion
of
the
day
with
qualified
caregivers
and
trainers
who,
among
other
things,
provide
arts
and
crafts
and
music
and
socialization
and
exercise
and
various
other
kinds
of
activities
that
basically
keep
their
brains
alive.
E
It
is
also
a
means
of
providing
respite
to
the
caregivers
and,
in
this
particular
case,
the
funding
covered
transportation
to
and
from
the
attendees
homes,
which
has
been
a
big
thing,
because
many
of
them
who
would
qualify
for
the
program
simply
don't
have
access
to
Transportation.
This
program
funded
that
the
program
runs
52
weeks
a
year
with
the
usual
10
standard
holidays
off
and
people
take
vacation
time
if
necessary.
E
E
Well,
among
other
things,
right
across
the
out
the
the
courtyard,
if
you
will
from
the
senior
center
okay
Rose
Kleiner
Avenida
Center
is
one
of
them
20
in
the
county.
There
are
a
bunch
in
San
Jose.
There
are
several
in
Los
Gatos
and
Campbell
and
Los
Gatos
I,
don't
believe
there
are
any
in
Los,
Altos
or
Los
Altos,
Hills
I.
Think
Sunnyvale
has
one.
E
And
again
they
are,
they
are
actually
slowly
Reviving
from
from
the
pandemic.
Some
of
them
aren't
yet
fully
open.
Some
of
them
are.
This
is
a
process
of
coming
back
out
into
the
sunlight,
if
you
will.
The
second
thing
I
wanted
to
talk
about
is
something
from
the
senior
care
commission,
which
is
continuing
an
ongoing
look
into
the
state
of
locals
nursing
homes.
E
E
They
held
a
seminar
talking
about
State,
support
and
other
things
for
this,
the
nursing
home
study
about
four
months
ago,
and
because
there
was
a
change
of
administration
within
the
senior
care
commission,
it
hasn't
done
a
whole
lot,
but
there
is
a
standing
committee
that
is
looking
into
this.
In
addition
to
this
I'm
writing
a
book
and
it's
a
book
about
nursing
home
reform.
E
I
am
currently
on
chapter
7
out
of
nine,
and
it
will
look
at
what
is
and
is
not
a
nursing
home,
its
place
in
the
whole
menu
of
long-term
care
options
that
are
available
to
people,
and
it
goes
into
things
like
financing
and
problems
with
care
and
legal
remedies,
and
right
now
the
chapter
I'm
working
on
has
to
do
with
what
it
is
that
seniors
want,
and
the
book
will
end
with
a
bunch
of
recommendations,
some
of
which
have
already
been
made
by
by
federal
commissions.
E
But
the
whole
idea
is
to
take
a
look
at
the
current
state
of
nursing
homes
in
in
in
the
United
States
and
point
out
some
policy
areas
that
really
need
to
be
changed.
So
I
know
a
lot
about
that
subject.
If
anybody
wants
to
talk
to
me
about
it
or
wants
me
to
talk
about
it,
let
me
know,
as
those
of
you
who
know
me
well
know
it.
You
know,
if
you
want
me
to
talk
about
it,
remember
this
is
like
a
fire
hose
Once.
You
turn
it
on.
B
A
C
Can
you
hear
me
now?
Yes,
oh
goodness,
okay,
so
Source
wise
is
looking
for
a
representative
from
Mountain
View
and
they're,
the
designated
area
Agency
on
Aging
for
Santa
Clara
County.
So
if
anyone's
interested
I
would
forward
your
name
to
the
mayor
for
the
mayor's
appointment,
so
please
reach
out.
If
you
need
more
information
or
you
have
any
interest.
