C
J
Last
monday,
the
13th
was
the
public
hearing
of
this
issue.
The
rezoning
of
this
property,
and
unfortunately,
michael
nor
myself
could
be
here
to
to
speak
for
or
against
it
due
to
some
family
obligations.
J
J
I
just
want
to
express
to
city
council
the
thought
that
less
than
24
hours
after
the
ink
was
dry
on
the
paper
last
monday,
channel
5
news
ran
the
story
that
the
property
is
being
sold
to
city
norton
from
metro
parks.
Mr
fowler
was
on
the
news
stating
that
there
were
multiple
businesses,
persons
interested
that
he
hoped
to
sell
the
property
for
twenty
thousand
dollars,
an
acre
as
much
of
the
property
by
the
end
of
the
year
of
2019.
J
With
that
thought
in
mind
two
weeks
ago,
when
I
was
here,
mr
fowler
and
both
marzita
told
me
to
my
face
that
there
were
no
plans
that
no
no
interest
that
nothing
really
was
in
the
works.
So
I
feel
that
then
going
on
the
news
the
next
day
and
making
that
statement
was
very
disingenuous
and
we
really
have
asked
nothing
for
but
transparency,
because
this
affects
us
directly.
J
So
that's
one
if
my
letter
that
I
left
two
weeks
ago
stated
350-foot
ask
in
terms
of
a
setback,
then
that
was
an
additional
ask
on
my
part.
I
guess
for
aiming
big
knowing
that
that
would
not
be
what
was
given
but
miss
whitby.
In
response
to
what
you
said
to
mr
stack,
we've
been
consistently
stating
this
at
every
meeting
that
we
come
to
and
at
no
point
have
you
or
anybody
else
for
that
matter
voiced
that
what
we
were
asking
was
too
much
of
an
ask.
J
So
again,
disheartened
at
the
public
comment
in
the
paper
that
and
if
I
can,
if
I
think
I
can
probably
quote
it
verbatim-
that
what
the
residents
are
asking
in
terms
of
300
feet
is
too
much
of
an
ask
that
we
hear
you.
We
feel
for
you,
but
basically
tough,
and
that
does
not
resonate
well
with
me
at
all.
As
I
guess
you
might
imagine
the
third
question
that
I
have
I
well.
The
third
statement
that
I
have
and
also
a
question
is
when
this
process
started
on.
J
J
J
I've
had
individual
conversations
with
a
couple
of
you
outside
of
this
foreign
forum,
who
have
explained
to
me
that
that
is
actually
the
process,
and
to
that
I
say,
that's
fine,
I'm
not
trying
to
buck
the
process
or
question
the
process,
but
since
the
process
was
done
incorrectly
by
your
own
people,
it
should
have
been
allowed
to
continue
so
that
those
conversations
should
have
took
place.
Two
weeks
ago,
when
I
was
here
for
the
work
session,
I
was
encouraged
to
introduce
myself
to
mr
dowling.
Is
it
darling
or
dowing.
J
J
J
What
is
my
forum
with
the
planning
commission
to
ask
those
questions,
because
I
demand
to
be
a
part
of
it
because
it
directly
affects
me.
So
that
is
my
question
to
city
council
about
where,
where,
when
what
what
venue
do,
I
do
that
in
because
I
don't
know
that
I
feel
that
city,
council
meetings
and
city
council
work
session
meetings
solely
are
the
venue
for
that.
J
So
so
that
I
have
a
question
for
that,
and
I
guess
my
fourth
and
final
thing
is
that
since
mr
fowler
stated
on
channel
5
news
last
monday
that
there
were
multiple
businesses
interested,
I
guess
I
would
like
to
know
where
we
stand
with
this.
Who
are
they?
Do
we
have
any
more
details
about
this?
What
is
coming
to
my
backyard.
C
H
Council
can't
force
rules
on
the
planning
commission,
but
I,
as
your
councilman,
will
publicly
now
request
that
they
allow
you
to
speak
and
I
would
hope
the
rest
of
council
would
stand
with
me
on
that.
But
from
my
seat
I
will
request
that
you're
allowed
to
speak
at
that
meeting.
K
Karen
miller,
3306
weber
drive
being
a
resident
and
a
business
owner
in
the
city
of
norton.
I
wish
to
express
my
thanks
and
support
to
all
of
you
for
making
the
difficult
decisions
that
were
made
in
bringing
to
fruition
sanitary
sewer
and
the
widening
of
cleveland
maslin
road
to
encourage
economic
growth
in
a
perfect
city,
there
would
be
sixty
percent
residential
and
forty
percent
business
in
you
making
those
tough
decisions.
It
will
encourage
and
spark
interest
for
increased
business,
which
will,
in
turn,
help
to
increase
our
city
income
tax
base.
K
L
Joe
casey
3141
monterey
drive.
I've
got
two
things.
I
want
to
comment
on
one
some
of
the
residents
that
are
on
the
fringe
list
for
the
nash
heights
projects
are
receiving
letters
saying
that
they
have
until
july
15th
to
tap
in
or
the
process
for
vacating
the
property
is
going
to
be
started.
Does
anybody
know
anything
about
this.
F
But
I've
spoken
to
the
health
department
as
early
as
today
or
latest.
Today.
I
guess
I
should
say
and
they're
putting
together
the
list
of
those,
so
I've
sent
them
the
list
for
the
assessment
and
I
sent
them
the
list
of
the
fringe
that
shouldn't
have
gotten
the
letters
saying
they
will
be
forced
to
connect.
Okay,
well,.
F
Worry
about,
let's
focus
on,
I
think
what
mr
casey's
bringing
up
is.
Okay,
I'm
a
resident
on
the
fringe.
Let's,
let's
use
folks
on
the
south
side
of
greenwich
road,
because
everybody
on
the
south
side
of
greenwich
west
of
brookside
court
got
letters
they're
in
the
fringe.
They
should
not
have
gotten
letters,
they
went
out.
We
didn't
give
them
the
list.
They
just
sent
the
list
so
we're
working
with
the
health
department
to
get
them
addressed.
They
should
be
sending
updated
letters
to
those
residents
saying
they
made
a
mistake.
L
Thank
you,
and
the
second
topic
is
not
that
I
want
to
be
the
dead
horse
with
the
metro
parks
deal.
I
like
the
fact
that
we're
bringing
businesses
into
norton-
I
don't
have
an
issue
with
this
at
all.
What
I
would
like
to
do
is
protect
the
residents
around
it,
and
I
wrote
up
a
proposal
for
mr
mcglone
who's,
the
chair
of
the
personnel
rules
committee,
which
would
be
satisfying
to
all
the
residents
around
there,
and
hopefully
he
can
make
that
happen.
Thank.
C
I
3004
union-
I
was
just
wanting
to
be
part
of
maybe
the
commission
board,
with
the
planning
and
zoning
of
this
property.
I've
been
in
construction
for
32
years
on
the
commercial
end,
so
I
know
how
to
read
prints.
I
know
how
to
do
layouts,
so
maybe
I
can
be
part
of
this
somehow
some
way
to
help
us
move
forward.
Thank.
K
A
A
The
best
I
can
tell
you
is
the
next
time
that
there's
a
and
a
term
ends
you
can
always
put
in
your
letter
of
intent
to
serve
and.
C
And
this
is
where
it
starts,
and
I
invite
you
and
anyone
else,
who's
involved
directly
over
there
or
anybody
in
the
city
to
come
to
the
meetings.
You
know
mr
towsley
indicated
that
that
he
would
like
to
see
public
comment.
I
haven't
been
the
last
time
I
was
on.
One
of
the
boards.
Was
zoning
appeals
back
in
the
90s?
C
C
C
Thank
you.
Thank
you
all
right
committee,
the
whole
ordinance
number
57
2019,
mr
gainer.
E
Yes,
this
is
an
ordinance
to
change
the
district
b2
district
to
b3,
which
is
just
residential
business
to
highway
business,
for
the
parts
store
that's
going
in
on
cleveland,
madison
road
and
I'd
like
to
have
that
added
to
tonight's
agenda,
if
possible,
please,
okay,
I'll!
Second,
that
there's.
C
C
B
H
C
Yes,
mr
kernan,
yes,
is
there
any
further
business
to
come
before
committee
of
the
whole
consideration
of
minutes?
The
minutes
of
the
regular
council
meeting
of
may
13
2019?
Are
there
any
additions,
corrections
or
deletions
to
those
hearing?
None
those
will
be
accepted
as
submitted
reports
from
officers
boards
and
commissions.
Mr
fowler.
F
F
So
for
the
last
week
I've
pretty
much
been
inundated
with
those
requests.
So
it's
been
a
blessing
and
a
curse
that
now
we
have
to
facilitate
that
I'd.
Also,
let
council
know
that,
just
because
you
passed
that
agreement,
we
have
not
taken
ownership
of
the
property,
because
we
have
a
few
things
that
we're
working
through
as
a
part
of
our
due
diligence.
F
C
B
G
C
H
H
E
C
A
motion
a
second
to
adopt
ordinance
number
60
2019.
Is
there
any
further
discussion
just
for
everybody's
benefit?
This
is
simply
to
send
this
legislation
to
planning
commission
for
their
review
and
comments,
and
then
it
comes
back
to
us
to
consider
whether
or
not
to
actually
rezone
would
claire
call
the
role.
Please.
B
C
G
C
Yes,
ordinance
number
61
2019.,
mr
gainer.
