If
you
didn't
know
mrs
tompkins,
she
was
a
regular
here
every
every
week,
years
years
ago
and
she's,
just
a
really
classy
lady
she's,
very
very
involved
in
council
meetings.
She
was
particularly
interested
in
the
city
finances.
G
In
fact,
when
I
first
got
elected,
she
took
probably
two
hours
of
her
time
to
meet
with
me
in
the
library
just
to
kind
of
go
over
things
and
show
me
her
concerns
and
show
me
how
they
went.
So
I
just
want
to
give
my
condolences
to
her
family
and
loved
ones
and
say
I
personally
won't
miss
her
anybody
else
on
council
or
up
here
desire.
H
To
speak,
yes,
mr
president,
elaine
was
a
friend
of
mine
for
many
many
years.
I
met
her
when
I
first
started
coming
up
to
council
meetings
many
many
many
years
ago,
and
she
did
participate
in
about
every
council
meeting.
We
had
from
that
time
period
until
this
in
the
recent
years
when
she
became
ill.
She
was
also
involved
in
other
norton
political
agendas
for
a
lot
of
years.
She
was
particularly
active
in
the
monetary
business,
as
mr
tosley's
already
mentioned,
and
she
was
always
willing
to
share
that
knowledge
with
anybody
and
everybody.
H
I
She
was
a
very
sweet
lady
and
you
could
disagree
on
something
and
she
would
just
kind
of
shake
her
head
and
say:
no,
no,
I
don't
agree,
but
then
it
was.
It
was
forgotten.
You
know
we
just
moved
on
to
whatever.
The
next
item
was
that
she
wanted
to
discuss
and,
like
paul
said,
you
know
she
was
very,
very
active
in
the
city,
finances
and
anytime.
She
had
a
question.
J
I
also
would
like
to
echo
that,
like
I
said,
I
think
anybody
that
was
on
city
council
at
that
point
in
time.
We
all
learned
a
lot
from
her.
Not
only
did
she
participate
in
the
city,
council
meetings
and
so
forth.
There
was
a
lot
of
discussion
that
she
would
call
and
we
would
talk
and
stuff
afterwards,
so
we
all
gained
a
lot
of
knowledge
from
from
having
her
participate
and
be
with
us.
So
my
condolences
as
well
for
mrs
tompkins.
G
K
Barbara
mclaren
3864
valley
drive
okay,
going
back
to
my
request
from
january
10th
to
the
mayor
regarding
the
intersection
of
shellheart
and
higgins.
I
got
a
semi
answer.
I
did
not
ask
for
that.
I
asked
for
something
in
writing
and
a
drawing.
I
don't
have
that.
So
I
would
like
carrie
to
pass
these
out
to
all
the
council
members
and
to
marky.
K
K
Addresses
complaints
on
various
subjects,
whether
it's
one
or
you
take
several-
I
don't
know,
but
I
would
like
to
lodge
an
official
complaint
as
far
as
my
neighbor
getting
their
sign
back.
I
don't
know
how
many
people
have
to
complain,
but
I
understand
that
the
teachers
complained.
Who
is
that
I
mean?
Were
there
written
complaints?
K
How
did
that
sign
get
removed?
I
don't
understand
that.
So
I
will
fill
out
a
petition.
How
many
responses
does
it
take?
Is
there
some
kind
of
an
ordinance
or
a
precedent
on
what
it
takes
to
address
a
complaint.
C
K
K
K
C
K
H
K
K
K
A
Mr
president,
yes
I
want
to
say
I
was
going
to
ask
if
we
could
call
the
company
that
we
purchased,
that
from.
A
A
A
K
Did
squander-
and
you
know
it's
it's
great
to
pat
yourself
on
the
back
him
to
get
grants,
but
once
you
put
that
money
out
there,
the
residents
have
to
live
with
that
they
have
to
pay
everything
else.
Once
that
grant
is
out
there
and
you
you
build
something
and
you
do
something
it's
the
residence
to
have
to
to
keep
it
maintained.
K
C
K
K
G
C
D
D
D
D
D
D
Believe
it's
not
true.
We
do
have
text
messages
from
mr
jihad
to
my
husband
admitting
about
the
easement,
I'm
wondering
if
mr
harper
did
you
pay
the
city
of
norton
for
their
work?
D
D
I
am
not
picturing
this
up
in
my
flooding,
due
to
my
property,
sits
way
lower
than
the
road.
If
anything,
it
may
cause
more
flooding
the
later
also
states
the
city
of
norton
does
not
go
on
to
privately
owned
property.
So
again,
how
did
mr
d
harper
receive
a
special
attention
to
other
north
citizens?
Can
I
have
the
luxury
of
receiving.
F
D
H
M
L
44203.,
I
have
a
question
to
get
the
maintenance
records
of
the
pipe,
the
fire
and
the
police
station.
How
do
you
get
this?
Because
I've
requested
this
a
couple
times
and
I
haven't,
got
anything
back.
G
I
was
copied
on
an
email
saturday
that
I
believe
was
to
you
stating
that
they
were
in
process
of
getting
them,
but
it
was
extensive,
so
they
needed
a
little
time.
As
far
as
the
timeline,
I
can't
tell
you
they
haven't
been
sent
or
they
have
been
sent
they're
compiling
them
from
my
understanding
of
the
email,
okay,.
L
Because
I'm
just
looking
at
you
know,
are
we
looking
at
another
situation?
What
happened
to
the
fire
station,
the
old
fire
station
when
the
roof
collapsed
and
then
are
we
looking
at
that
for
the
police
station?
Again
too,
you
know
so
we
can
get
a
new
building
and
pass
practice.
I
mean
that's
what
it
looks
like.
M
M
M
M
M
It
just
seems
awful
funny:
fire
station
roof
caved
in
need
a
new
fire
station
police
station
roofs
leak
and
need
a
whole
new
building
for
a
roof
leaking.
I
just
want
the
maintenance
records,
for
I
can
do
some
research,
because
are
we
going
to
be
building
a
new
fire
station
five
years
from
now
because
the
road's
leaking
it
just
don't
make
sense.
M
M
G
G
N
Yeah
thomas
dayton
and
I
live
at
3417,
cleveland
madison,
road
in
norton,
but
anyway
I
applied
for
it
and
I
understand
by
the
rules
of
the
ohio
revised
code
that
has
to
be
done
every
five
years.
If
it's
in
a
municipality
like
like
norton
now
I
don't
know
what
they
do
for
out
in
the
farmland
in
the
boonies
or
whatnot.
N
But
anyway
I
just
wanted
to
let
you
know
that
I've
been
trying
to
be
a
good
steward
to
my
neighbors,
and
this
gives
me
protection
from
the
neighbors
there's
noises
from
equipment
and
everything
they
don't
like.
They
can't
say
anything
and
also
the
other
thing
that
I
have
done
is
when
I
built
the
building
where
we
sell
cyberlink
produce
when
it's
done.
N
I
did
wasn't
required,
but
I
have
three
exits
that
have
panic
hardware
to
the
south,
to
the
north
and
to
the
east,
so
people
can
get
out
in
case
of
a
fire
quickly
and
there's
another
exit
that
we
have.
That
is
not
panic
hardware,
so
there's
plenty
of
that
and
it's
not
required,
but
I
wanted
to
do
it
because
I
don't
want
anybody
killed
from
the
fire.
C
N
Mind
that
I
would
put
pig
as
a
fertilizer
on
the
lower
lawn,
but
I
thought
that's
just
gonna
cause
trouble
and
I
would
not
do
it
and
even
today,
that's
all
passed.
So
if
somebody
breaks
into
their
house-
or
I
know
it
or
see
something
going
on-
I'm
gonna
call
and
find
and
I'll
call
the
police
to
find
out
what's
going
on.
N
If
I
know
that
john
is
on
vacation,
so
I
don't
hold
grudges
and
everything
else,
but
that's
all
gone
to
myself
and
then
I
know
at
the
city
we
recycle
all
of
our
water,
because
the
water
and
van
hining
run
is
terrible.
It's
full
of
high
dissolved
salts,
it's
full
of
chlorides,
it's
awful.
N
So
I
re
recycle
all
that
water
and
I
don't
spill
any
fertilizer
water
out
into
creeks
or
streams,
but
but
the
only
time
that
it
did
overflow
was
on
june
10th
of
2013
when
copley,
norton
and
barberton,
which
got
hit
the
worst
from
the
flooding
of
that
date.
We
had
three
inches
of
water
in
one
hour.
We
needed
rain,
but
we
didn't
need
it
like
that,
and
so
unfortunately
that
was
the
case.
N
N
I
can
remember
you
in
2019
when
you
came
to
our
our
fall
festival
and
you
were
running
for
election
and
that
was
on,
I
think
september,
25th
of
2019
and
you
were
shaking
hands
and
everything,
and
I
said
well
why
don't
you
be
like
herbert
hoover,
promising
a
car
in
every
garage
and
a
chicken
in
every
pot?
But
you
didn't
take
my
advice,
but.
N
H
Yes,
mr
president,
I'm
always
an
advocate
for
our
agricultural
areas
and
davis
nursery
has
been
a
great
help
to
the
city
in
the
past.
I'm
sure
they
will
be
in
the
future
and
their
asset
to
this
community.
G
O
G
J
Like
I
said,
tom's
a,
I
mean
he's
more
than
a
friend
he's
a
phone
call
away
if
the
city
usually
needs
something
we
contact
tom
and
he
usually
makes
it
happen
for
us.
So,
like
you
said
as
far
as
us
as
far
as
the
community
great
to
have
here
and
we're
glad
you're
here,
and
I
support
with
the
agricultural
district
that
he's
applying
for
reapplying
for
thank.
O
Mr
president,
I
did
have
one
last
thing
sure
so
me
and
mr
dane
do
go
quite
a
ways
back
me.
My
grandfather,
if
I
could
share
this
real
quick,
actually
helped
build
the
original
building
on
the
property.
When
I
was
in
high
school,
we
went
down
there
and
did
some
work
when
it
was
just
starting
so
yeah,
it's
been,
it's
been
there
for
a
lot
of
years
and
it's
a
it's
a
great
asset
to
our
community.
G
G
P
You,
mr
president,
so
ordinance
31
2022
is
for
the
allow
the
city
to
enter
into
a
five-year
agreement
with
reign
associates
for
their
annual
audit.
This
would
be
a
five-year
agreement
comes
out
to
about
thirty
two
thousand
two
hundred
fifty
dollars
a
year,
which
is
about
three
thousand
a
year
less
than
we
paid
the
auditor
of
state
last
year,
the
auditor
of
state
actually
due
to
staffing
issues
needed
to
bid
this
out
and
they
they
did
an
rfp
and
landed
with
ray
and
associates.
P
G
O
E
G
Anything
else
before
we
move
on
consideration
of
minutes.
Are
there
any
additions
or
corrections
for
the
minutes
of
the
council?
Regular
council
meeting
of
february
14th
2022
there
being
none?
Those
minutes
are
approved
as
submitted
minutes
of
committee
work
session
of
february
22nd
2022.
Are
there
any
additions
or
corrections
there
being
none?
The
minutes
are
approved
as
submitted
reports
from
officers
boards
and
commissions,
we'll
start
with
marzita.
J
Thank
you,
mr
president.
I
just
would
like
to
once
again
announce
that
green
update
this
year
is
april.
23Rd
we'll
have
a
posting
on
our
website
for
volunteers.
If
you
have
any
questions,
please
contact,
shannon,
extension314
and,
like
I
said,
basically
we're
hoping
that
people
will
come
out
and
help
us
beautify
the
city
also.
I
have
an
adopt-a-spot
program
going
on
this
year
again
as
well,
we're
looking
still
looking
for
sponsors.
J
B
G
G
P
H
I
would
just
like
to
ask
a
question
sure:
are
we
going
to
be?
H
G
Number
29
2022,
mr
lukens
thank.
O
P
G
B
G
G
G
P
G
now.
Second,
this
is
the
city's
annual
road
paving
program.
We've
got
25
roads
planned
with
three
alternates.
G
It's
pretty
straightforward.
We
need
to
move
forward
with
it,
so
we
can
get
these
paved
as
early
as
possible.
Hopefully,
in
the
spring
I
do
feel
by
being
early
with
the
climate
we
have
right
now.
I
think
the
city
probably
did
pretty
well
with
oil
prices
spiking.
So
that's,
I
guess
that's
a
silver
lining
on
this.
Is
there
any
other
discussion.
G
G
E
G
A
G
The
reason
for
the
waiver
on
this
one
is
it
takes
up
to
six
months
to
get
the
supplies
for
this.
This
is
on
a
100
percent
grant.
G
G
G
E
G
G
G
G
G
Thank
you,
ordinance
number
19
2022.
That's
mine,
I'd
like
to
offer
ordinance
number
19
2022
for
its
second
reading
and
ask
the
quote
to
read
it.
Please.
G
That's
the
second
reading
only
ordinance
number
20
2022,
mr
bates
thank.
P
You,
mr
president,
for
ordinance
number
20
2022
for
its
second
reading
and
ask
the
clerk
to
read
it.
Please.
B
P
You,
mr
president,
for
ordinance
number
twenty
22
2022
for
its
second
reading
and
ask
the
clerk
to
read
it.
Please.
G
Thank
you
second
reading,
only
again
ordinance
number
23
2022,
mr
bates
thank.
P
H
Mr
president,
yes,
mr
peter
I'd
just
like
to
suggest
we
just
go
ahead
and
pass
this.
It's
not
causing
the
same
money,
it's
putting
a
sport
to
get
grants
and
that
way
it
can
get
underway.
G
G
G
J
A
H
Again,
mr
president,
is
there
any
reason
why
we
couldn't
wave
the
third
reading
on
this
and
just
pass
it?
If
not,
then
I
would
just
assume
I'd
like
to
make
a
motion
go
ahead
and
wave
a
sec
for
the
third
reading
and
pass
it.
I
don't
see
why
we
should
wait,
then
get
started
with
their
application.
G
G
G
G
B
G
P
P
H
Yes,
mr
president,
I'd
like
to
point
out
on
the
pub
for
the
public
that
30
of
either
one
both
of
these
projects
is
to
be
paid
by
anyone
that
ties
into
the
water
line
and,
while
we're
at
it
that
the
barbecue
water
bill
for
anybody
doesn't
know,
is
going
to
be
going
up.
I
believe
it's
five
percent
on
the
april
bill
of
which
anybody
does
tie
into
either
a
water
line
or
a
sewer
by
our
latest
ordinance
that
will
be
applied
to
your
water
bill
to
pay
it.
Thank
you.
B
G
G
G
E
P
P
I
G
C
G
G
And
this
is
just
what
it
says:
engineering
services
for
driftwood
and
cherrywood
I'd
like
to
make
a
motion
to
adopt
ordinance
number
seven
2022.
well,.
A
G
C
H
G
G
G
I
I
O
O
Mr
president,
what
was
that
acronym?
What
did
you
say,
turkey,
the
turk.
H
Yeah
it
oversees
the
tax
incentive.
G
G
I
H
C
P
G
G
A
G
H
B
H
Yes,
mr
president,
who
actually
collects
that
money
for
us
now.
H
F
This
is
for
the
impound
fees,
so
sorry
yeah.
This
is
for
the
impound
fees
it's
collected
by
the
impound
lot
when
the
car
is
redeemed.
Essentially
so
you
have
to
pay
those
fees
and
it
gets
collected
and
then
paid

Please
an.
P
I
wasn't
going
to
read
all
of
them,
but
I
know
the
january
18th
agenda
page
96
listed
out
what
these
transfers
would
be
from
the
general
fund.
We
do
these
every
year
for
different
programs
unless
anybody
any
specific
question
that
I'd
like
to

adopt
ordinance

I'd
asked
last
week
about
the
arc
of
funds
and
I
did
receive
an
email
from
mrs
keener
and
she
said
the
city
has
received
626
725
dollars
currently,
and
none
of
it
has
been
expended
and
that
we're
due
to
we're
going
to
receive
another
626
725
and
for
anybody's
emperor,
we're
not
entitlement
unit
in
any
eu
and
that
since
barberton
is
a
metropolitan
city.
