Okay, today we're going to discuss payroll certification justification for the commission reviewing.

The payroll and and over the years we wanted to go to executive session for it. um I turned the meeting over to angela.

Thank you, joe you're welcome, so I just wanted to put it on record as to why historically, the civil service had certified payroll in our home rule rule two h.

It says that one of the duties of the civil service commission is to prepare, continue and keep a complete roster of all persons in the classified service and historically, the civil service did that by certifying payroll, because that is the most accurate list of all classified employees. So per home rule 2-01 h, the civil service commission agrees and moves to continue certifying payroll.

In addition to that, the civil service commission would like to when certifying payroll call an executive session under ohio sunshine law. If possible would like to discuss that with robert and call it under ohio sunshine law, one of the under confidential matters, if possible.

So we would like to discuss that next meeting if we could and then also we were talking about getting the collective bargaining agreements one time per year, q1. So that's something else that we would like to resume doing as soon as january. 2022.

The last thing that in our home rule is rule 2, l, which is the review notice of actions affecting civil service employees.

Those are to be submitted to the commission and they were historically through memos and those are personnel orders and they stopped coming in 2018, but we're told and assured that those will resume. So that is all I had. Thank you, joe.
