From YouTube: Maps 3 Wellness No. 1 Ribbon Cutting
Description
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Maps 3 Health and Wellness Center No. 1
A
This
is
an
important
day
for
back
three
I
still
remember.
You
know
when
this
was
just
an
idea
in
its
infancy,
on
just
something
that
the
council
and
I
used
to
dream
about,
maybe
someday
being
able
to
figure
out
how
to
make
happen.
15
years
ago,
I
remember
being
first
made
aware
of
senior
wellness,
centers
and
the
whole
concept
of
building
a
facility
where
your
seniors
to
exercise
and
congregate,
perhaps
rehabilitate,
but
in
other
words,
address
the
growing
and
uncommon
scene
of
the
baby
boom
generation
and
the
wellness
needs
of
that
aging
population
and
I.
A
A
It's
just
an
idea
and
that's
I,
think
the
day
that
I
learned
there's
a
big
difference
between
an
idea
and
a
funded
idea,
and
it
was
several
years
later
with
the
opportunity,
with
Matt's
three
and
the
awareness
campaign
that
had
drawn
attention
to
this
community
needs
and
health
and
wellness
that
we
saw
the
opportunity
to
build,
not
one,
not
two,
not
three,
but
at
least
four
senior
wellness
centers
inside
of
them.
The
master
initiative.
B
Now
my
job
today
is
to
tell
you
a
little
bit
about
what
you're
going
to
see.
We
have
an
incredible
recreational
saltwater
pool
and
exercise
fitness
center
regulation,
size
gymnasium,
a
group
exercise,
studio,
help
screams,
a
demonstration
kitchen,
billiards
room,
a
cafe
arts
and
crafts,
video
lounges
social
area,
educational
classes
and
even
more
but
I
want
to.
Let
you
know
one
of
my
favorite
things
is
the
mural.
That's
in
the
pool.
It's
called
out
for
a
swim.
It's
too
red-eared
turtles
and
by
a
local
artist
by
the
name
of
Nick
bear.
B
It
is
really
cool
and
I
hope
you
will
take
the
time
to
look
at
it.
It
is
outstanding.
The
last
two
weeks
have
been
really
pretty
stressful.
We
met
we
made
for
the
finish
line.
We
made
it
to
the
ribbon,
cutting
and,
more
importantly,
I,
want
everybody
to
keep
dreaming
about
new
ideas
for
this
place
and
keep
giving
us
suggestions
and
finally,
I
want
everybody
to
keep
praying
for
the
success
of
this
facility.
Thank
you
very
much.
