B
A
Our
18
hole,
South
Course,
has
been
here
since
1964
and
is
still
a
fun
golf
course
to
play.
The
North
Course
was
built
in
the
era
of
92
94
and
is
probably
one
of
the
most
popular
golf
courses
in
the
area.
We
invite
you
out
to
see
these
courses
will
also
invite
you
out
to
see
the
three
hole.
Academy
course,
a
very
small
fee
lets
you
play
around
that
course
twice
and
it's
a
great
place
for
people
that
are
taking
up
golf.
A
A
Our
biggest
asset
out
here
is
the
fact
that
we
have
great
people
serving
our
golfers.
We
have
wonderful
volunteers
who
have
wonderful
staff
and
they
care
what's
going
on
and
we're
trying
our
best
to
create
a
great
experience
so
that,
when
you're
here
at
routing
and
Recreation,
because
that's
our
purpose.
A
Our
City
golf
courses
have
been
ranked
in
the
top
five
in
the
country
for
municipal
courses.
We've
also
received
a
bottom
ranking
when
it
comes
to
what
we
charge,
so
we
had
the
best
of
both
worlds
there
and
we're,
and
we're
proud
of
that.
The
reason
that
has
come
about
is
because
a
lot
of
interested
people
which
includes
the
Oklahoma
City
Golf
Commission,
the
Oklahoma
City
public
property
Authority,
which
is
a
City
Council
with
another
hat
on
the
city
staff
city
manager,
director
Park.
A
It's
because
we
have
such
a
great
group
of
people
who
care
what's
going
on,
so
we're
looked
up
to
by
a
lot
of
cities
around
the
country
for
a
golf
operation,
but
that's
the
reason
we
have
what
we
have.
If
you
play
golf
and
you
want
to
improve
your
game,
we
have
the
place
to
do
it
here
on
our
driving
range,
with
12
instructors
available
and
other
practice
areas.
So
we
have
a
place
for
you
can
come
out.
A
We
can
help
you
get
over
that
intimidation
factor
if
you're
thinking
about
taking
up
golf
and
you'll
discover
very
quickly
that
you
don't
have
to
worry
about
this.
Guy,
looking
at
a
beginner
playing
golf
they've
all
been
there
so
we'd
like
to
invite
you
to
get
out
here,
get
over
that
hurdle
and
take
up
this
golf
game.
A
B
I'm
ed
Ricci,
one
of
the
head
golf
professionals
at
Lake
after
golf
club,
we
are
standing
on
the
sixty
bucks
on
the
North
Course
here
at
Lake
Hefner.
One
of
the
things
I
like
about
the
North
Course
is:
there
is
a
diversity
of
homes.
It's
not
just
an
overpowering
golf
course.
Some
holes
are
long.
Some
holes
are
a
little
shorter.
The
six
hole
is
a
little
bit
shorter
and
many
people
choose
to
lay
up
a
little
bit
with
a
would
to
keep
the
bunker
out
of
play.
That's
on
the
left
side
of
the
fairway.
B
Okay,
after
my
tee
shot,
I
found
myself
basically
in
the
middle
of
the
fairway,
having
avoided
the
bunker,
that's
on
the
left
side
of
the
fairway
and
allowing
myself
access
to
a
green
without
the
tree,
that's
to
the
front
of
the
left
of
the
green,
blocking
any
trajectories.
So
now,
I
just
have
a
free
access
to
the
green
itself.
B
Okay
I
was
fortunate
enough
to
find
the
green
in
a
very
good
position.
I
wanted
to
leave
it
below
the
hole,
so
I
could
be
a
little
bit
more
aggressive
with
my
putter.
Basically,
the
greens
on
the
golf
course
they
generally
try
to
run
it
about
a
10
to
a
10
and
a
half
on
the
stimpmeter.
The
undulations
can
be
severe
very,
very
subtle,
so
often
difficult
to
read
these
greens,
especially
when
you
have
to
take
the
wind
into
account
as
you're
reading
the
Greens,
the
wind
effects
a
putter
more
than
any
other
shot.
Oh.
