Utilities
approached
the
parks
department
asking
us
if
we
had
park
spaces
available
where
they
could
set
up
these
demonstration.
Water
conservation
gardens-
and
we
said,
we've
got
a
perfect
one
at
bluff.
Creek
Bluff,
Creek
Park
is
really
a
jewel
on
the
north
side
of
Oklahoma
City.
It's
so
popular
with
our
runners
and
walkers.
A
lot
of
people
have
discovered
it.
You.

The
plants
will
be
labeled
with
their
names
so
that
people
can
identify
what
they
are
and
find
them
in
nurseries
that
they're
interested
in
having
these
at
their
own
home.
This
first
year
will
really
have
to
take
care
of
the
plants
water
them
pretty
regularly,
but
after
the
first
year
these
plants
will
be
able
to
survive
under
natural
rainfall.
Here
in
Oklahoma,
a
lot
of
these
plant.

When
you're
planting
a
plant,
it's
important
to
do
a
little
bit
of
root
preparation.
This
allows
the
roots
to
find
their
way
into
the
soil,
rather
than
being
all
bound
up
together
after
you
put
a
plant
in
the
ground,
put
a
good
layer
of
two
to
three
inches
of
mulch
on
top
and
around
the
plant.
That
will
help
ensure
that
moisture
stays
in
the
soil
and
also
when
you're
planting
in
fall
like
we
are
here,
it'll
help
plants
stay
warm.
