A
A
B
A
B
B
To
thirty
thousand
thirty
thousand
ago,
it
was
very
amazing,
and
it
just
blew
us
away,
because
what
it
showed
us
is
that
people
really
want
an
opportunity
to
be
able
to
get
out
and
be
active.
And
that's
what
we're
really
trying
to
promote
with
these
events
is
to
encourage
people
to
get
out,
be
active
and
also
encourage
active
modes
of
transportation
such
as
biking
and
walking.
Perfect.
A
So
open
streets
means
that
the
streets
will
be
closed.
Yes
and
people
are
encouraged
to
come
by
bike.
Yeah
come
buy,
a
scooter
come
by
skateboard,
rollerblades
yeah,
you
know
whatever
means
of
transportation
and
you've
got
a
long
stretch
open
this
time.
So
give
us
the
geography,
because
in
South
Oklahoma
City
this
is
a
little
different
footprint.
It
is.
B
B
Will
be
closing
down,
so
the
rout
is
on
Southwest,
25th
and
Southwest
29th
between
Walker
and
Robinson,
and
then
it
actually
starts
at
the
northernmost
point
at
Southwest.
23Rd
in
Robinson
goes
south
to
29th
and
then
from
Walker
and
29.
That
goes
south
2
grand.
So
our
hope
is
that,
because
of
the
number
of
people
that
we
had
come
out
to
our
first
two
events,
some
feedback
that
we've
gotten
this-
that
we
really
want
to
try
to
have
more
space
for
people
to
be
able
to
ride
their
bikes.
B
So
amazing
we
couldn't
pull
this
off
without
our
amazing
partners,
so
we've
worked
with
Association
of
Central
Oklahoma
governments,
Oklahoma
City,
Public
Schools,
the
neighborhood
alliance
of
Central
Oklahoma
and
then
also
the
YMCA
and
for
this
event
or
partnering,
with
Capitol
Hill
Main
Street
association
in
southwest
twenty
ninth
Street.
So.
A
A
It's
bursting
and
you
know,
we've
got
two
new
districts
are
merging
yeah
on
25th
street
we've
got
calle
dos
Cinco,
yes
with
wonderful
banners
and
great
activity,
and
then
you
know
hope
our
viewers
know
that
we've
been
working
really
hard
on
creating
a
business
improvement.
District
on
Southwest
29th
street
yeah
called
lot
29
yeah
it's
moving
along
incredibly
well.
So
I
agree
with
you
that
this
is
a
really
nice
opportunity
to
invite
the
whole
community
to
come
down
and
see
what's
happening.
You
also
are
surrounded
by
wonderful
neighborhoods.
A
As
you
reach
out
two
grand
and
Downton
you've
got
several
public
schools
right
in
that
exact
vicinity.
Yes,
and
on
25th
street
you've
got
so
much
commerce
academically.
So
how?
If
we're
hungry
yeah,
what
do
we
do?
We
will.
B
B
I,
yes,
it's
amazing.
For
this
event,
we're
going
to
have
40
different
organizations
that
are
going
to
have
activity
booths
set
up.
So
some
of
the
similar
activities
is
previous
events,
so
the
American
Lung
Association
is
going
to
have
their
rain
gutter
regatta
and
then
we'll
have
bounce
houses
for
kids
and
then
also
opportunities
for
people
to
come
out
and
do
bubble
soccer
or
which
is
interesting.
If
you've
not
seen
that.
A
B
A
B
A
Which
would
be
wonderful
or
move
them
around
down,
because
it's
a
great
concept,
I
love.
The
idea.
I
actually
was
listening
to
the
news
the
other
day
and
heard
that
Paris
had
declared
last
Sunday
automobile
free.
Oh
wow
I
had
no
cars
in
the
entire
center
city,
taxis,
buses,
you
know,
bicycles,
a
police
of
course,
and
but
no
private
cars
in
the
entire
city
of
Paris
on
Sunday
example
are
catching
on
open
streets
is
a
really
good
idea,
fabulous
now,
city,
county
health
does
so
many
other
things.
B
It's
been
absolutely
amazing
and
because
of
wonderful
partners
that
we
have
that
have
come
to
help
make
this
campus
a
reality.
Blue
Cross,
Blue
Shield,
has
been
wonderful,
integris
help,
there's
walking
trails
out
there
currently
on
the
campus
for
people
to
come
out
and
walk,
and
then
we
have
our
partner
building
that
will
be
opening
up
soon
and
in
that
we'll
be
able
to
have
a
clinic
that
is
fully
integrated.
So
individuals
who
come
in
will
be
able
to
have
access
to
primary
care,
mental
health
and
public
health
services.
All
in
one.
A
A
B
Another
amazing
partner,
Oklahoma
City
energy,
is
going
to
have
their
practice
fields
on
the
campus,
and
so
those
are
under
construction
right
now
it's
taking
shape.
You
can
see
that
it's
starting
to
take
the
look
of
a
soccer
field,
and
so
we're
so
excited
to
have
them
as
a
partner
and
to
be
able
to
come
and
offer
soccer
on
the
campus.
So
it's
an
amazing
opportunity
how.
A
It
is
just
going
to
be
fabulous
and
I
think
you
know
another
opportunity
to
get
people
out
to
see
it.
Yes,
Oklahoma
City
is
a
big
big
city
and
I.
Don't
think,
sometimes
things
that
we
feel
you
know
everyone
is
aware
of.
It
takes
getting
out
to
see
it
to
really
recognize
what
the
resources
are
and
so
that
the
campus
for
City,
County,
Health
I,
think
is
one
of
those
that
the
more
people
we
can
introduce
to
all
of
the
many
things
that
are
happening
out
there.
A
B
Well,
we
have
one
of
our
programs
is
called
total
wellness
and
it's
an
eight
week
class
that
teaches
people
how
to
eat
right
and
exercise
and
to
incorporate
that
into
their
daily
lives
and
what's
amazing
about
those
classes
that
individuals
come
in
on
week.
One
and
we
do
all
their
initial
work
lab
tests
and
see
check
their
weight.
High
blood
pressure
get
their
BMI
and
then,
over
the
course
of
that
eight
weeks
they
learn
tips
and
strategies
on
how
to
eat
healthier,
learn
what
their
plates
should
look
like
as
far
as
grains,
dairy.
B
Fruit
and
by
the
end,
they're
encouraged
to
exercise
weekly,
keep
a
food
diary
and
most
of
our
participants
are
having
amazing
results.
By
the
end,
they
have
lost
five
percent
of
their
body
weight.
Well,
which
is
absolutely
incredible,
so
it
really
gets
people
on
a
good
jump
start
towards
improving
their
health
and
those
are
free
and
open
to
the
community.
We
offer
those
all
throughout
the
year
and
then
another.
B
A
B
A
A
Do
you
believe
that's
bus
number,
five,
but
ok,
they
could
be
anybody
that
needed
bus
transportation
could
currently
reach
out
to
embark
yeah
or
could
call
information
at
the
city
county
health
department
to
find
out
which
one
it
is,
but
there
is
excellent
public
transportation
you're
available
to
to
reach
the
campus.
So
that
was
a
big
improvement.
Absolutely
absolutely!
Well!
That
sounds
like
such
fun.
Do
you
do
cooking
classes?
We
didn't.
B
Sign
from
some
of
our
partners,
we
have
that
will
come
on
site
and
offer
cooking
classes
for
the
community,
and
so
in
our
campus
there's
also
a
training
kitchen
where
those
cooking
classes
are
offered,
and
so
we've
also
had
those
on
the
fourth
Thursday
or
the
third
Thursday
of
every
month.
We
have
our
and
we
have
a
meeting
available
for
people
to
be
able
to
come
out
and
participate,
and
so
it's
our
family,
fun
night
and
so.
B
About
that
is
we
invite
the
whole
community
to
come
out
each
month,
we'll
have
a
different
theme,
and
so
what
we're
doing
is
trying
to
encourage
people
to
come
out
to
the
campus.
You,
too,
is
it:
go
on
the
walking
trails,
come
to
a
cooking
demonstration
and
just
learn
the
ways
to
improve
their
health
and.
A
A
Wide
in
terms
of
health
and
the
and
obesity
and
the
unfortunate
negative
impacts
with
diabetes
and
all
those
things
that
come
from
it
and
so
I've
always
been
so
pleased
and
proud
of
the
mission
of
city
county
health
to
work
on
preventative
programming.
Yeah
to
help
our
community
get
healthy.
It's
you
know,
being
one
of
the
one
of
the
biggest
priorities
of
our
mayor
is
to
get
us
fit,
get
us
moving
and
I.
A
You
know,
as
I
look
around
at
all
the
things
happening
in
the
city,
the
maps
projects,
the
sidewalks,
the
trails,
the
river
rapids,
the
all
of
those
things
that
are
designed
to
get
us
out
moving
on
laughing
as
I
was
sitting
here
with
a
broken
leg.
I
did
that,
while
I
was
out
moving,
I
was
hiking
and
had
a
little
accident,
but,
as
we
were
saying,
if
you
don't
get
out
and
don't
move
around,
you
know
you're,
not
living
life.
A
So
much
for
coming
to
talk
to
us
today,
open
streets
is
a
wonderful
program.
It's
really
been
a
fun
part
of
kind
of
connecting
the
urban
fabric
to
walking
and
of
getting
out
and
seeing
what's
happening.
You
know,
twenty-third
Street
is
changing
so
fast
25th
street
is
changing,
29
strings
changing
and
if
you
just
sit
by
in
your
car
you're
not
going
to
see
all
the
exciting
things
that
are
happening
so
I
wanted
just
to
encourage
everybody
to
come
out
on
october,
18th
for
open
street
southwest
29
southwest
25th
street
get
involved
as
a
volunteer.
