Senator
Greg
tree
has
been
promoted
to
the
pro
tempore
for
this
year,
which
means
he's
leader
in
the
Senate.
He
represents
district
47,
which
encompasses
northwestern
Oklahoma,
City,
Edmond,
Bethany
and
some
parts
of
Deer
Creek
and
has
served
on
the
Senate
for
almost
eight
years
now.

committee
report
on
maps

free
trial
period

OKC
streetcar
has
been
extended
to
February
1st.
This
extension
gives
us
the
a
better
opportunity
to
try
the
service
and
learn
more
about
how
it
works.
The
streetcar
has
already
transported
well
over
50,000
riders.
The
first
steel
beam
of
the
Convention
Center
across
the
street
from
scissortail
Park
was
installed
last
month
and
progress
continues
in
its
construction.

Last
month
on
December
11th
congresswoman
for
Oklahoma's
fifth
District
Kendra
horn
received
a
briefing
aboard
an
aircraft
by
airman,
first
class
called
Nicholas
during
a
tour
of
Tinker
Air
Force,
Base,
congresswoman
horn
and
two
other
of
her
staff.
Members
visited
the
base,
learn
more
about
the
various
missions
of
Tinker
Air
Force.

Lake,
Draper's
okie,
dirt
writers
hosted
a
charity
toy
drive
earlier
in
December,
and
all
proceeds
went
to
Santa's
calls
which
helped
give
hundreds
of
children,
toys
and
clothing
in
the
Oklahoma,
City
metropolitan
and
surrounding
areas.
Recently
the
Capitol
Hill
district
offered
holiday
on
the
hill,
which
offered
sights
and
sounds
of
Christmas,
including
pop-up
shops
and
visits
with
saintly
individuals,
had
a
great
time
getting
in
the
holiday
spirit
and
also
got
a
good
miss
back
in
time
with
historic
buildings
and
classic
for
kids
from
the
early
nineteen
hundred's.

exciting
news

lake

open

east
side

stated
that
he
will
be
requesting
budget
amendments
to
maintain
the
park.

hopes
to
have
prairie
parks
open
by
July
1st
of
next
year.

happening
over

holidays.
The
start

maps
three
streetcar
service
route,
which
began

big
celebration

20,000
people
rode
the
streetcar.
The
first
weekend,
free
service
has
been

to

passengers
time

learn

the

exciting
things
happening
in
Ward
7.
After
five
years
of
planning,
costco
is
finally
coming
to
Oklahoma
City
and
near
the
Kilpatrick
Turnpike
and
Western
Avenue.
The
store
is
expected
to
hire
about
200
people
and
bring
in
between
80
to
140
million
dollars
in
sales
annually,
after
its
opening
in
April
of
2019,
which
we
could
put,
which
could
potentially
attract
other
store.

stores

Ikea

million
dollar

room,
Omni
Hotel,
is
being
built
at
downtown
OKC
as
a
part
of
a
new
convention
center
and

of
the

environmental
assistant,
trust

Oklahoma

water
conservation
program

water
trust
was
permitted
by
the
City
Council
to
receive
a
loan
of
50
million
dollars
for
clean
water
funding,
which
is
for
raw
and
wastewater
projects
and
30
million
dollars
for
drinking
water
funding,
which
funds,
water
treatment
and
small
replacement
projects
of
water
lines.

the
December
City
Council
meeting.

annual
financial
reports
concluded
that
the
environment,

assistance
Trust
has
a
healthy

position
of

to
its
