on
the

reports.
We
have
a

on

and
a
resolution
releasing
the
irrevocable
letter
of
credit
for

is
changing
from

to
a

recent
months
have
been
quite
busy
for
the
CVB.

In
fact,
tourism
sales
sales
staff
have
attended
nine
consumer
and
group
shows
and
January
to
promote
our
great
city.
As
a
visitor
destination,
they
played
to
attend
seven
more
this
month.
Also,
a
new
ticketing
platform
using
the
software
developer.
Guest
X
is
in
the
works
for
many
of
the
city's
attractions.
It
would
make
purchasing
tickets
for
attractions
for
venues
much
easier
due
to
the
CBeebies
great
work.
They
are
also
a
finalist
for
three
addy
awards
for
the
OKC
ad
Club,
which
is
an
annual
awards
program
for
the
advertising
industry.

The
OKC
award
program
will
be
held,
February
16th.
Finally,
the
CVP
has
been
focused
on
the
beginning
development
for
the
new
FY
2020
budget
and
marketing
plan
that
will
be
enacted
on
July
1st
included
in
some
of
these
later
works
is
the
construction
for
the
new
Convention
Center,
which
is
estimated
for
completion
on
September
5th
2020.

There
are
a
lot

exciting
things
coming
up

this
week.
In
the
Asian
district
is
celebrating
the
Lunar
New
Year.
It
is
the
year
of
the
pigs,
so
the
celebration
will
be
held.
This
Friday
from
6:00
to
9:00
p.m.
at
the
myriad
Gardens
admission
is
free.
There
will
be
traditional
line:
dances
firecrackers
there
also
be
music
face,
painting,
lion,
dancers,
crafts
and
calligraphers.

It
will
be
a
very
special
weekend,
so
you
should

the
City
Council.
Elections
will
be
held
on
February
12th
to
look
out
for
a
new
Ward
to
councilman.
The
Paseo
district
is
having
Shakespeare
on
the
Paseo
from
8:00
to
11:30.
The
next
three
Thursday

Sunday
nights
on
February
26th
per

was
hosting
a
paintin
palette,
taught
by
Cindy
Mason
I
highly
recommend
attending
one
of
these
events.

Harding
charter
preparatory
high
school
and
I
am
a

representative

Ward
2.
This
month,
I
will
be
giving
the
boards
and
commissions
report
for
Ward
2,
so
starting
with
the
urban
design
Commission
the
renovation
plans
for
the
sonic
on
Northwest,
23rd,
Street
and
Pennsylvania
Avenue
have
been
considered
and
we
look
forward
to
seeing
those
renovations
start
soon.

plans
for
a
31-foot
cell
tower
on
Northwest
28th
Street
and
a
25-foot
cell
tower
on
East
Hill
Street
were
also
considered,
and
it
should
be
noted
that
both
cell
towers
would
be
hidden
in
the
streetscape
dillan,
Broadway
and
Bend
cellars
were
also
thanked
for
their
service
on
the
Commission.
As
six
new
members
were
appointed
by
Mayor
Holt,
the
coming
elections,
current
councilman,
ed
Shadid
will
not
be
running
for
re-election,
and
so
there
are
five
candidates
running
for
his
old
seat.

show
will
be
donated
to
the
Regional
Food
Bank
of
Oklahoma
foods
for
kids
programs
and
the
Oklahoma
leukemia
and
lymphoma
society
tickets
are

the
OKC
Civic

February
3rd
free
mulch
was
offered
at
the
various
parks
such
as
the
Will
Rogers
Park
and
the
Woodson
Park.

giving
the
Commission
report
Will
Rogers
World
Airport
was
approved
to
get
a
three
hundred
fifty
eight
thousand
dollar
$300
rehabilitation
for
terminal
access,
roadways
that
go
to
and
from
the
airport.
The
airport
trust
also
approved
for
Mike
Monroe
nee
aeronautical
center
to
get
to
get
a
slab
repair.
The
Oklahoma
City
streetcar
opened
in
December
in
just
one
month
after
service
has
begun.
There
has
been
the
first
crash
between
a
civilian
car.

In
a
streetcar
official
said,
the
streetcar
was
entering
the
roundabout.
Another
car
going
north
on
Walker
tried
to
slip
ahead
of
the
streetcar
and
cut
it
off.
The
street
car
had
minor
damage,
and
luckily
it
was
only
cosmetic
officials
from
embarked,
have
encouraged
citizens
to
stay
up
today
and
watch
the
videos
on
the
website
to
stay
safe.

Recreation
Commission,
has
exciting
news
regarding
the
new
clubhouse
at
Earlywine.
Earlywine
Park
is
extremely
popular
on
the
community
of
South
Oklahoma
City
and
I'm
happy
to
announce
that
a
new
clubhouse
will
be
stationed
at
the
early
wine
golf
course.
It
is
currently
in
his
first
stage
of
planning
and
mr.
Cooper
has
announced
that
it
is
a
design
firm
has
been,
has
been
announced.

Another
news
contractors
for
the
Oklahoma
City
Community
Foundation
planted
245
trees
among
the
widely
known
River
Trails.
The
trees
planted
were
native,

we
hope

trails

report.

were
told
that
there
has
been
a
contract
for
the
new
Douglas
Recreation
Center.
This
Center
will
be
the
first
built
by
the
parks
and
recreation
department.

retail
development
project
called
1001
West

works

Avenue
and
Memorial
outlets
such
as
Jimmy,
John's
and
smoothie.
King
have
already
been
built
and
you
can
expect
to
find
more
exciting
conditions
and
restaurants
in
the
shopping
center.

Later
this
year,
the
Girl
Scouts
of
western
Oklahoma
recently
revealed
plans
for
their
new
camp
camp
jivera
and
have
invested
more
than
eleven
million
dollars
to
build
a
stem
focus
camp
in
Oklahoma
City,
the
Girl
Scouts
of
design
activities
and
experience
and
experiences
for
girls.
That
will
give
them
the
chance
to
explore
the
fascinating
world
of
science,
technology
engineering
and
mathematics
or
stem
while
learning
to
be
comfortable
in
the
outdoors.

about
physics
ziplining
across
the
lake
and
test
their
geological
knowledge
on
the
indoor
rock
wall
expected
to
open
in
the
summer

High

and

8.
Today,
I
will
be
sharing
with
you
about
the
Oklahoma,
City,
Water
trust
and
their
projects.
The
water
trust
is
currently
in
the
process
of
building
a
second
Atoka
pipeline
that
will
provide
a
higher
capacity
to
pump
and
convey
the
city's
full
water
rights
from
Atoka
and
McGee
Creek
reservoirs
to
Oklahoma
City.
Another
project
is
the
interconnection
of
the
Hefner
and
Draper
water
systems.

This
will
allow
for
improved
service
during
water
treatment,
plant
outages
and
improve
the
transfer
of
water
during
drought
conditions.
The
trust
is
also
improving
and
repairing
many
miles
of
water
and
wastewater
pipes
throughout
the
city.
This
project
will
assist
the
city
in
providing
a
reliable
source
of
clean
water
for
their
customers
and
can
this
concludes
my
report.

has
grown

helping
schools

project
takes

12
years
to
complete
and
is
completely
debt
free
through
maps.
