K
Thanks
cat
hi,
everyone,
I'm
Shelby
wilkinson,
a
junior
at
christine's
Christian
school,
and
this
is
the
ward
7
commission's
report
for
the
Oklahoma
City
Zoo,
it's
official
as
a
februari.
Second,
the
spring
is
on
its
way
since
groundhogs
are
not
part
of
the
zoo's
collection,
the
grizzly
bear
brothers
will
and
Wylie
acted.
As
this
year's
official
groundhogs
day
delegates
zoo
guests
were
invited
to
watch
as
the
Bears
were
surprised
with
treats
including
fruits,
nuts
popcorn
and
peanut
butter.
K
The
two
weather
Bears
did
not
see
their
shadows,
which
means
that
we
can
look
forward
to
warmer
temperatures
sooner
rather
than
later.
A
new
member
has
also
recently
been
added
to
the
zoo
family.
A
male
alligator
snapping
turtle
named
tishomingo
is
now
on
view
in
big
rivers,
at
Oklahoma
trails
and
thanks
to
free
admission
on
Mondays
in
February,
it
is
even
easier
to
come
check
out
tishomingo
and
the
other
exciting
animals
at
the
zoo,
and
that's
all
for
the
commission's
report.
Thank
you.
B
Good
morning
from
Ward
8
I'm
ratul
sgr
a
senior
at
edmond
santa
fe
high
school
I'll,
be
giving
this
month's
word
report
first
on
the
order
of
business
I
wouldn't
feel
right,
giving
a
ward
report
that
doesn't
mention
something
about
road
work.
Likewise,
street
improvements
continue
throughout
this
great
ward,
such
as
on
the
intersection
of
Pennsylvania
Avenue
and
North
West
164th
street.
B
Also
many
people
don't
know
that
in
oklahoma
contractors
are
required
to
keep
two
lanes
of
traffic
open
at
all
times
during
road
expansion
projects,
and
that
plays
a
major
role
in
linking
the
process
of
roadwork
lek
next.
Although
this
is
considered
a
citywide
issue,
residential
chicken
raising
has
especially
raised
some
issues
in
Ward
8.
As
councilman
Ryan
says,
it
will
be
interesting
to
see
how
this
plays
out.
I
will
keep
you
updated
on
any
developments
and
before
I.
Forget
I
would
like
to
congratulate
fellow
youth,
counselor
Derek
Noel's
on
his
perfect
a
CT
score.
B
L
Good
morning

I'm,

of
Science,
Academy
and
I'm,
also
representing
Ward
8
and
today
for
a
commission
report,
I'd
like
to
tell
you
that
there's
been
consideration
on
applying
a
search
artist
on
the
city's
water,
an
attempt
to
preserve
it.
Also,
there
have
been
talks
of
waiving
the
rental
fees
for
boat
slips
due
to
their
only
being
about
150
actually
being
in
use
and
also
the
venom.
L
Our
company
has
plans
to
fill
the
vacancy
left
by
sears
and
close
brings
mall
and
they're
planning
on
bringing
in
office
and
retail
and,
lastly,
the
property
between
walmart
and
Sam's
south
of
memorial
plans
to
use
that
area
to
open
up
office
and
retail
stores,
and
also
have
ideas
of
restaurant
opening
they'll
be
on
the
lookout
for
that
soon.
Thank
you
not
to
be
out
today
have
a
nice
day.

has
implemented
a
new
program
and
has
partnered
with
the
Edmond
and
Norman
cvbs.
What
is
it?
M
You
ask
they've,
launched
a
new
certified
tourism,
acid
or
program
centered
on
creating
positive,
visitor
experiences
in
the
metropolitan
area
since
September
of
2000
2012.
When
this
was
implemented,
these
new
certifications
have
certified
over
130
people
and
will
visitors
a
confidence
in
our
hospitality,
employees
and
volunteers
that
we
have
in
them
and
make
them
return
to
the
Oklahoma
City
area
soon.
Thank
you.
