Good
morning
Oklahoma
City,
my
name
is
Madeline
Rhoda
I'm,
a
12th
grader
from
Yukon
High,
School
and
I
am
the
representative
for
Ward
one.
Today,
I
will
be
presenting
two
reports
for
my
first
report.
I
will
be
presenting
on
Ward
one
on
Monday
February
20th
construction
began
on
the
westbound
Lane
of
Memorial
Road
at
Council,
just
off
the
Kilpatrick
Turnpike.

The
Harlem
Globetrotters
are
set
to
take
over
the

Center
for
a
fun
evening
on
Saturday
March
25th,
the
historic
Stockyard
City
will
be
putting
on
a
St
Patrick's
Day
parade
with
many
festivities
on
Saturday
March
11th.
The
parade
is
free
to
the
public
and
will
begin
at
10.
Am
the
Myriad
botanical
gardens
will
be
hosting
their
annual

from

the
best

Oklahoma
Irish
bands
and
the
McTaggart

will
be
featured
at
this
amazing
event.
C
Good
morning
Oklahoma
City,
my
name
is
Emma
colinasan
I'm,
a
junior
at
class
nsis
at
Northeast
and
I
am
the
co-representative
for
wart
2..
Today,
I
will
be
presenting
reports
on
Ward
2..
First
off
councilman
James
Cooper
has
posted
about
plans
for
a
new
animal
shelter
to
be
included
in
the
maps
4
project
constructed
in
1995.
The
existing
shelter
has
been
put
to
good
use.
However,
the
city
is
looking
for
a
newer,
bigger
space
that
will
be
able
to
serve
and
treat
our
furry
friends.
C
So
far,
the
new
facility
is
said
to
address
operational
inefficiencies
in
the
current
location,
while
also
improving
Humane
outcomes
and
goals.
Next,
the
Asian
District
Cultural
Association
is
hosting
a
curated
cultural
experience
with
adca
executive
director,
Andrea
Schultz,
the
cultural
and
culinary
Tour
on
March
4th
from
11
30
a.m,
to
2
p.m.
We'll
give
people
a
glimpse
of
the
history
of
the
Asian
District,
while
also
highlighting
several
new
and
well-known
restaurants.
C
Finally,
the
Paseo
Arts
Association
is
partnering
with
the
Oklahoma
Blood
Institute
to
host
an
annual
blood
drive.
This
year's
blood
drive
will
be
held
in
the
Paseo
arts
and
creativity
Center
on
March
19th.
From
11AM
to
4
pm
go
to
the
paseo.org
to
see
more
information
and
to
also
hear
about
some
free
stuff,
you'll
receive
and
the
benefits
of
giving
blood.
D
D
I
would
like
to
First
bring
to
your
attention
a
proposal
being
made
by
Parvati
investment,
which
would
construct
a
triplex
in
Jefferson
Park
in
ward
2..
The
construction
of
this
Triplex
would
allow
for
more
people
to
both
live
in
Jefferson
Park
and
enjoy
all
of
the
variety
of
things
it
has
to
offer.
If
constructed
all
proper
mechanical
equipment
and
fencing
would
be
insured
to
make
sure
that
the
building
doesn't
get
rid
of
any
historic
aspects
of
Jefferson
Park.
D
Next
I
would
like
to
tell
you
all
about
the
consideration
to
demolish
the
current
garage
lot
at
1607
Classen
Drive
in
Heritage
Hills,
and
replace
it
with
a
two-story
parking
garage
with
the
influx
of
people
moving
into
and
visiting
Heritage
Hills
the
amount
of
space
for
people
to
park
their
cars
has
dwindled
greatly.
The
addition
of
a
two-story
parking
garage
could
both
maintain
the
current
historic
status
of
the
neighborhood,
while
also
somewhat
solving
the
issue
of
there
not
being
enough
parking.
D
E
E
