youth
council,
the
Youth
Council
is
a
partnership
between
the
city
and
leadership.
Oklahoma
City,
the
18
Youth
Council
members,
learn
about
the
challenges
of
local
government
firsthand
and
the
program
provides
them
with
an
effective,
meaningful
channel
to
influence
decisions
affecting
their
homes,
schools,
friends
and
community,
while
serving
the
members
learn
about
local
government,
its
components,
processes,
goals
and
successes.

I'm,
a
senior
from
Putnam
City,
High,
School
and
I
represent
Ward
1.
It
has
been
a
busy
month
in
the
Oklahoma
City
Convention
and
Visitor's
Bureau.
The
CVB
secured
377,000
250
rooms.
They
maintained
in
strengthened
industry
relationships
through
bricktown
Association,
all
sports
association
and
urban
neighbors,
developing
a
direct
mail
marketing
program
to
introduce
new
projects,
including
the
convention
center.

the
exhibition
center

junior
at
putnam
city
north
and
I
represent
war.
Two,
the
historic
preservation
commission
met
on
october
third
and
past
15
certificates
of
appropriateness.
Not
all
the
applications
were
approved,
though,
and
two
were
denied.

report

construction

north
western
avenue
about
8,000
feet
about
eight
hundred
thousand

rehabilitation

construction
on

Robinson,
Avenue

twenty-third
Street
will
be
commenced.
Over
five
hundred
thousand
dollars
will

spent
updating
various
schools
around
our
ward,
including
North
class
in
high
school
bell,

middle
school
and
Taft
school.
The
medium
between
glenbrook
and
Grand
Boulevard
will
be
restored
this
month
and

Dick's
Sporting
Goods
has
had
its
opening
Friday
November.
Second,

west
gate,
plaza
due
to
sales
exceeding
the
projected
amount.
The
outlet
mall
opened
their
new
expansion
Friday
November
night
as
work
continues
on
the
meridian
bid.
A
key
meeting
is
set
for
November
13th
to
see
if
the
businesses
are
going
to
be
willing
to
tax
themselves
to
improve
the
vitality
of
the
hospitality
corridor
from
Southwest
29th
torino.

area
is
vital
to
the
horse
shows
of
the
fairgrounds
and
ward
3
stores.
Business
united
airlines
is
starting
in
service
to
cleveland
hopkins
airport,
beginning
februari
14
2013.
This
opens
up
the
entire
northeast
part
of
the
united
states
connecting
to
dozens
of
cities
connecting
through
cleveland.
Also,
a
resolution
has
been
improved
for
advertising
and
marketing
assistance
with
the
air
carrier
marketing
program
to
be
used
to
promote
the
nonstop
air
service
to
Cleveland
Ohio.

plant
of
the
southeast
industrial
park
being
a
part

northeast
quarter

today
last
month
was
Ward
for
special
tour
month.
So
we
got
to
see
firsthand
the
improvements
happening
at
hays
elementary
school
construction
to
renovate
the
elementary
school
is
still
in
progress,
but
it's
looking
wonderful
with
all
the
new
innovations.
It's
a
welcoming
learning
environment
for
the
kids
that
attend
this
past
month,
a
college
hill
neighborhood
association
meeting
took
place.

meetings
objective
to
improve
the
community
security
as
well
as
offer
enticing
things
for
all
ages
for
the
future
park
and
to
incorporate
the
historical
park
to
the
new
park.
That's
soon
to
come.
The
holiday
season
is
upon
us
time
for
love
and
holiday
cheer.
So
for
the
next
College
Hill
meetings
on
December,
11th,
Christmas
basket,
donations
for
the
needy
families
will
be
accepted.

changes
and
improvements
are
taking
place
in
our
city
as
the
project's
progress

river
lighting
is
currently
under.
Construction
in
the
wind
screen
and
white
water
facility
are
in
design
phase.

begin
soon.
As
for
the
downs
on
park,
the
second
of
three
public
meetings
was
held
on
October
25th
in
the
downtown
library,
hard
drives.

presented
initial
conceptual
designs
for
the
park
and
received
public
input
as
to
what
the
people
of
Oklahoma
City
want
from
the
project.
They
are
seeking
as
much
input
as
possible
to
view
their
presentation
or
present
comments
about
it.

last
school
to
be
built

the
maps

kids

The
downtown
Oklahoma
City
Elementary
School

designing

to
open
in
august
2014.
The
seventy
nine
thousand
square
foot
school
could
make
the
Oklahoma
skits
the
Oklahoma
City
School
District,
the
first
public
school
district.

the
country
to
operate
its
own
charter
school,
that
concludes
my

jobs
for

among
the

hundreds
of
professional
jobs
to

city.

Thunder
has
had
a
successful
start
to
their
season
with
a
6-2
record.

harding
charter
prep
and
here's
your
commission
report
for
Ward
5.
First,
the
Game
and
Fish
Commission
has
granted
the
Oklahoma
Department
of
Wildlife
Conservation
a
permit
to
use
detention
pond
located
at
South
East
sixty-second
in
Santa
Fe
for
aquatic
education
classes.
These
classes
will
help
to
spread
awareness
about
aquatic
life
and
proper
fishing
practices
and
will
be
renewable
each
year.
Also
upon
request.
New
speed
limit
signs
have
also
been
placed
at
lakes
all
across
Oklahoma
City,
to
help
improve
safety
for
those
who
use
the
lakes
for
creational
purposes.

The
Parks
Commission
is
currently
working
with
the
City
Council
to
design
and
construct
a
wilderness
experience
proposed
by
wilderness
matters
incorporated
for
the
citizens
of
Oklahoma
City
to
enjoy
the
project
comes
complete
with
universal
tread
house,
treehouse
and
trails,
which
would
be
located
at
Martin
nature
park
on
4,700
West
memorial
road.
The
proposed
project
will
be
split
into
three
separate
phases
and,
if
approved,
construction
will
start
early
next
year.

beginning
shortly.
There
are
several
new
potential
residential
areas
in
our
ward.
Apartments
are
being
considered
off
of
140
104th
and
South
may,
across
from
the
new
crest
off
of
119th
and
Western.

new
developments
plans
off
of
134
in
south
western
avenue,
envision
I
240
is
a
plan
to
help
develop
and
create
a
better
image
of
the
area
around
I
240.
The
goals
are
one
reat
in
it:
reinvest
and
redevelop
to
humanize
the
spaces

traffic
for
curate,
better
connections
and
five
to
eradicate
ugliness.

we
are
still
working
on
bettering
our
sidewalks,
especially
those
around
West
nor
high
school.

for
some
very
exciting
changes.
The
design
for
maps
three
white
water
center
is
now
underway.
Also
the
compass
rose,
sculpture,
building
permit
has
been
published
and
I'd

recognize
the
life
of
mr
ray
Ackerman,
a
proud
supporter
of
the
Oklahoma
riverfront
redevelopment.
He
passed
away
on
October
1722
and
that's
all

past
month
have
been
very
busy
for
Ward
7
in
the
first
game
at
their
fifth
season
in
Oklahoma
City,
the
thunder
defeated
the
Portland
Trail
Blazers
on
November
second,
at
the
Chesapeake
arena.
Although
the
team
is
playing
without
James
Harden,
he
was
recently
traded
to
the
Houston
Rockets.
The
new
team
members
have
the
potential
to
make
a
significant
contribution
to
another
great
season.

Many
exciting
changes
are
taking
place
in
a
vital
part
of
Oklahoma
City,
the
oh
you,
health
and
science
center.
The
ribbon
ribbon
cutting
ceremony
was
held
several
months
ago
for
the
children's
hospital,
but
an
ordinance
has
just
been
passed
to
rename
the
street
in
front
of
the
building
to
children's
drive
to
recognize
the
importance
of
the
work
taking
place
inside
the
facility
work
continues
on
the
Oklahoma
kids
Corral
a
facility
sponsored
by
the
toby
keith's
foundation.

This
state-of-the-art
facility
will
provide
a
home
away
from
home
for
pediatric
cancer
patients
and
will
be
built
on
8th
and
lincoln
boulevard.
There
has
been
a
proposal
for
a
medical
facility,
zoning
overlay
on
the
southeast
quadrant
of
the
oh,
you,
health
and
science
center.
The
Presbyterian
Health
Foundation
is
looking
to
expand
south
and
east
in
the
near
future
and
wants
to
use
the
land
to
build
a
medical
facility.
The
initiative
contained
in
PUD
1496
was
heard
by
the
Oklahoma
City
Planning
Commission
and
deferred
to
februari
14.

The
Oklahoma
City
Zoo
cheerfully
announces
that
the
three
horse
production
company
is
the
new
management
company
for
the
zoo,
antha
theor,
the
company,
which
is
a
collaboration
between
look
to
local
events.
Companies
will
be
responsible
for
booking
events
and
concerts
in
the
renowned
amphitheatre.
Once
the
zoo
says
goodbye
to
Howard,
Pollock
and
dis
number,
the
three
horse
production
company
will
step
in
and
continue
to
offer
cool
entertainment
at
a
reasonable
price
and
remembers
new
friends.

out.

that
took
place
was

ribbon-cutting
ceremony
for

new
big
sporting
goods.

the
OC
WT,
also
has
agreed
on
pricing
agreement
and
approval
of
HD
water
supply,
waterworks,
ductile

pipes.
