conducting
the
word

report

September
30th.
The
12th
annual
fiesta

America's
was
held
in
historical
Capitol
Hill.
The
festival
includes
a
parade,
live
entertainment,
food
trucks,
art
and
many
activities.
All
embracing
the
multiple
cultures
found
in
Oklahoma
get
out
of
the
car
and
get
active
open
streets
OKC
will
be
returning
to
South
Robinson
Avenue
on
October
29th.

today
I
will
present
the
Planning
Commission
report
over
the
proposed
rezoning
of
a
possible
bronze
location.
Bronze
at
Oklahoma,
ice-cream
and
dairy
store
operates
almost
300
schools
at
300
stores
throughout
five
states,
Oklahoma
Texas,
Missouri,
Kansas
and
Arkansas
open
7
days
a
week.
Each
store
is
like
a
three-in-one
with
a
grill
old
fashioned,
fountain,
ice-cream,
fountain
and
Fresh
Market
grocery.

proposed
rezoning
would
take
place
up
one
207
Northwest
50th
Street
and
would
be
rezone
from
an
r1
single-family
residential
district
to
a
simplified
Planning,
Unit,
developmental
district
or
spud.
This
was
met
with
protests
and
has
been
deferred
to
the
next
PC
meeting
on
October
12
2000
17.

Commission
report
regarding
the
development
of
the
OKC
streetcar
as
part
of
the
maps
3
program,
the
Oklahoma
City
streetcar
project,
which
is
funded
by
maps
3,
is
about
20%
complete
and
is
scheduled
to
open
in
late
2018.
The
streetcar
will
have
to
route
options,
a
two-mile
Bricktown
loop
and
a
4.8
mile
mainline
serving
the
central
urban
core.
The
streetcar
will
operate
on
existing
rails
embedded
into
traffic
lanes
once
completed.

A
few
weeks
ago,
Oklahoma
City
voters
approved
the
bond
and
sales
tax
measures
on
the
better
streets,
safer,
City,
special
election
ballot,
helping
our
community
thrive
as
it
grows.
There
are
also
some
fun
events
coming
up
in
the
city.
The
myriad
Botanical
Gardens
is
hosting
its
sixth
annual
Pumpkin
Ville,
which
debuts
October
6.

The
children's
garden
will
be
transformed
into
Prairie
pumpkin
town,
featuring
lots
of
festive
pumpkins,
gourds
and
fun
activities
on
October
5th.
The
2017
Oklahoma
regatta
festival
will
take
place
in
the
boathouse
district
on
the
Oklahoma
River,
along
with
rowing
dragon
boating
and
many
other
events.
There
will
be
a
family
festival,
featuring
food
trucks
and
much
more
family
fun.
Also
in
the
mureed
gardens.
The
full
moon
bike
ride
and
run
will
take
place
on
October
5th.
Bikers
and
runners
will
will
follow
a
route
throughout
the
scenic
downtown
area
as
the
Sun
sets.

fishing
Gaming
Commission.
There
is
free
fishing
days
in
Oklahoma
City,
every
first
Saturday
of
every
month
until
December
2018.
However,
remember
regular
fishing
regulations
still
apply
and
you
still
need
a
state
issued
ID
for
anyone
over
the
age
of
16.

the
Commission's
agreed
to
have
a
three-day
fishing
permit,
instead
of
a
one-day,
the
rule
is
being
sent
to
the
Oklahoma
City
Council
for
further
approval,
as
the
discussion
of
removing
the
ages
limit
for
the
permit
has
been
tabled
for
the
next
meeting
for
further
discussion.
As
for
the
Park
Commission,
a
soccer
coach
has
also
has
been
moved
to
Willow.
Park
has
the
suggestion
of
adding
field
lights
to
the
soccer
fields,
as
they
are
other
lights
for
football
fields
at
wheeler
park,
and
this
concludes
my
Commission
reports.

festival

district
on

artisans

painters,
music,
traditional
and
dance
performances,
live
music,
kid,

in

parade

past
weekend
on
Saturday

23rd,
approximately
20,000
people
gathered
at
the
Cox
Convention
Center
for
the
beautification
of
father,
Stanley
Rother
on
October
5th
to
the
8th,
the
bull
house
district
will
be
hosting
the
2017
Oklahoma.

festival.
The
sport,

festival
will
be
will
consist
of
celebration.
Events
such
as
rowing,
kayaking
dragon
boating,
water,
rafting
and
family
fun

Road
north

Reno
is
being
widened
and
resurfaced.
This
is
a
joint
project
with
the
developer
of
West
Gate
Park.
They
are
fully
funding
the
design
and
paying
50%
of
the
construction
cost.
The
city
will
pay
for
the
other
50%.

wards
whose
report

has
a
plethora

events
approaching
specifically
occurring
in
the
Paseo
Arts
District
on
October
6
2017,
the
first
Friday
Gallery
Walk
event
will
take
place,
which
consists
of
more
than
80
artists
and
more
than
25
businesses
participating
all
within
walking
distance,
starting
at
6
p.m.
to
9
p.m.

is
also
the
magic
lantern
you've
been
happening
on
October
29th
2017,
which
is
a
uniquely
positive
art
event
that
is
family
oriented.
On
the
other
hand,

has
construction

handle,
including
removing

original
driveway
openings

curbs
and
sidewalks.

be
amending

construction

windows
in
jefferson,

A
senior
at
Harding
charter
preparatory
high
school
today
I'll
be
presenting
the
Commission
report
for
the
ever
Elysian
Ward
to
the
urban
design.
Commission
received
numerous
proposals
at
their
August
23rd
2017
meeting
and
among
these
was
apropos
to
install
a
mural
on
the
West
elevation
near
Goro
ramen
in
the
Plaza
district,
with
the
condition
at
the
applicant
modified
the
artist
design
statement
to
reflect
the
mural
design
rather
than
referencing
the
food
at
the
restaurant.
The
proposal
was
unanimously
approved
further.

In
my
own
ward,
a
proposal
was
made
to
construct
a
building
parking
lot,
sidewalk
new
signs
and
fences
in
the
paseo
on
28th
Street
and
with
some
conditions
as
to
the
exact
designs
of
the
sidewalks
and
curbs,
as
well
as
some
of
the
building
code
specifications.
The
proposal
was
unanimously
approved.
These
were
just
some
of
the
proposals
evaluated
by
our
industrious
urban
design.

coming
projects

Street
corridor,
with
their
three
main
focuses

safety,
security
