Oldsmar Council Member Dan Saracki supports the ‘I Love My Neighborhood’ Census Challenge because an accurate count helps Pinellas County receive its fair share of more than 675 Million Dollars per year in federal funding.
The 2020 Census is important as local governments use the census for public safety and emergency preparedness. Billions of dollars in federal funds are spent annually on critical transportation services in communities across the country, including maintenance and construction of roads and bridges.
