truly
a
gem
of
oldsmar,
a
few
of
the
highlights
planned
for
this
year's
ceremony.
Our
keynote
speakers

mrs
floyd
austin
iii,
commanding
officer
of
united
states,
central
command,
mcdill
air
force
base
also
joining
him
from
mcdill
and
centcom
is
major.

city
council,
member
gabby.

two

the
first
that
100
folding
chairs
be
on
the
premises
in
the
morning
by

a.m,
for
volunteers
to
set
up
and
the
second
that
the
white
canvas
canopy
tent
the
one
used
for

memorial
day
and
veterans
day
ceremonies
be
in
place
before
10
a.m.
The

ceremony,
once
again
on
behalf
of
tampa
bay's,
50,
plus
gold,
star
families,
I'm
hoping
you
will
consider
granting
my
requests

I'm
grateful
for

and

what

We
moved
down
here
in
old,
four
from
cleveland
ohio.
I
worked
for
the
parent
corporation
up
in
cleveland
for
18
years.
Believe
it

not,
this

29th
year.
It
was
a
junior
high
co-op.
I
was
in
yeah
thank
you,
but
we're
a
electronic
distribution
center.
We
do
a
lot
of
work
for
general
motors
and
delphi
electronics.

being

he

one

original
folks

when
oldsmar
fire
rescue
started
providing

life
support

we
had
been
doing
bls
prior
to
that
for
some
period
of
time,
so
one
of
the
first
paramedics
to
join
oldsmar
fire
rescue.

an
opportunity

we
got.
We
got
the
microphone

we're
on
tv
and
all
that
that
we
can
take
a
few
minutes
and
tell
people
a
little
bit
about
what
what
you
do
in
the
fire
service.
They

a
big
truck
and
make
noise
and
all
that
stuff,
but
there's
a
lot
more
to
it.
So
we
got
to
share
a
little
bit
of
that
anyway,
congratulations

years

that
we

I've

looking
out

the

there's
a

number
of
folks
from
oldsmar
fire
rescue

came
this
evening.
Probably
I

guess
they
all
came
because
you're
getting
your
award
and
then
tom
and
his
wife
came.
You
know
because
he
got
got
his
also
and
it's
always
risky.

The
homework
was
established
in
1990
by
the
city
council.
At
that
time,
this
award
served
its
two
purposes.
The
first
purpose
is
to
recognize
two
of
the
city
leaders
that
dedicated
themselves
to
the
city
as
servants
or
trengos
served
the
city
of
osman
for
16
years
as
mayor
in
in
the
1950s
and
1960s.

These
two
guys
served
this
city
with
dedication
and
love
for
their
city.
It
was
ironic
I
in
1970
I
had
the
privilege
to
serve
on
council
with
both
of
these
men
yeah.
I
said
in
fact
I
sat
between
them.
I
got
the
education
in
my
life
sitting
between
these
two
politicians
and
I'm
telling
you
they
were
they.
They
were
the
old-time
politicians
they
didn't
like
each
other.

The
second
reason
this
this
award
is
important
is
because
the
award
goes
to
a
a
a
a
city
employee
that
is
chosen
by
their
peers.
This
employee
is
not
chosen
by
the
council,
not
chosen
by
the
city
manager.
This
individual
is
chosen
by
their
peers
for
their
dedication
to
city
government
of
the
city
of
osmond.
A
Thank
you
jerry.
It
is
a
great
award
because
it
is
something
that
is
nominated
by
your
peers.
They
pick
you
and
they
give
you
reasons.
Why
and
the
reason
they
pick.
John
john
is
a
perfect
employee,
always
on
time
and
ready
for
work.
He
takes
care
of
everything
required
and
goes
above
and
beyond
to
take
care
of
those
little
things.

Most
people
forget
he's
a
great
person
to
work,
he's
always
offering
assistance,
there's
more
always
offering
assistance
to
others
takes
pride
in
his
job
and
the
city
of
oldsmar
patiently
trains,
our
new
employees
at
the
ro
plant
works
late
and
comes
in
early
to
make
sure
everything
is
working
correctly.
He
is
a
great
person
outside
of
work
as
well,
somebody
you
can
trust
and
rely
on.
He
deserves
this
award.

at
the
property
owner's

voluntary
annexations,
just
like

1919
around
1919
1920,

that
was
the
road
that,
on
just
just
west
of
the
railroad
tracks,
there
was
two
wooden
bridges
built
and
that
little
bridge
took
you
over.
There
took
you
over
boxing
creek

safety
harbor.

know
where
the
ice
cream
shop
is
on
580,
that's
where
it
came
out
right
in
there.
So
this
is
another
piece
of
history
of
the
moccasin
creek
and
the
police
that
in
the
places
that
were
annexing
one
at
a
time.

are
sodium
vapor
lights.
But
anyway,
I
don't
know
that
tampa
electric
even
has
such
a
rate
existing.

life
starts

Mayor
will
come
out
and
give
a
speech.
Nine
o'clock

a
luminary
ceremony

then
we
ended
at
seven
a.m.
On
saturday
right,
I
want
to
invite
everybody

come
out
and
participate
monday
we're
going
to
have
a
potluck
dinner
where
we're
going
to
collect
all
our
money.
I
think
we
had
a
meeting
last
night
we
have
35
teams,
which
was
our
goal
and
our
sponsor
money.
I
We
went,
we
exceeded
our
goal
for
their
sponsor
money
and
then
for
our
total
monies.
We're
on
track
is
what
they're
telling
me
to
to
make
our
goals
so
we're
pretty
proud
of
that
and
just
want
to
encourage
everybody
to
come
out,
even
if
you
come
out
just
for
a
walk
or
something
we've
all
been
affected,
with
a
loved
one,
a
friend,
a
neighbor
who's
been
stricken
with
cancer
and
we're
there
to
celebrate
those
who
have
passed,
those
who
have
survived
and
those
who
are
fighting
it
now.

last
night

the

friendly

know

receptive
he's
gonna

since
he
lost
pretty
much
every
year
to
us.

different

and
I
don't
know,
is
there
a

I'm
not
sure
where
we
get
it?

our

we

great
job
of
encouraging
people
to
get
out
there

really
giving
them
a
reason
to
walk
and,

the
beads
I
think
last
year
were
were
super
nice.

happened
was

put
beads
on

you
walked
laps
for
every
lap
that
you
walked,
you
added
another
bead

you
really
didn't
know
who
you

walking
for,

it

somebody

city
staff,
that
is
battling
cancer
and
it
was
kind
of
neat-
and
I
said
I
don't
remember
exactly
what
I
wrote
in
the

it
was
kind
of
neat
not
knowing
who
you
were
walking
for,
because
cancer
really
doesn't
know
who
it's
attacking.
It's
just
attacking.

I
think
that
it's

was
neat
to
walk
that
and
then
find
out
after
the
fact
who
you
actually
walked,
for
which
was
kind
of
neat.
So
anne's
got
a
small
set
of
beads
that
she's
got
that
she's
worked

it's
great

been
by
the
clerk's
office.

that's

great
thing,
and
