A
B
Heavenly
Father,
we
come
humbly
before
you
in
a
time
of
sorrow.
The
death
of
Stephen
Everett
burdens
our
hearts
burden
shared
throughout
the
city
walls
more.
We
pray
that
you
will
comfort,
Stephens,
mother,
Eileen,
his
sister
Laura
and
brother
Brian,
and
welcome
Stephen
into
your
heavenly
kingdom.
We
were
hopeful
that
your
grace
and
love
will
be
with
family
and
those
present
who
shared
their
pain
in.
A
Welcome
our
first
item
is
the
citizens
open
forum.
We
only
have
a
couple
of
rules
that
you
state
your
name
and
address
clearly
forward
the
record.
You
keep
it
to
no
more
than
five
minutes
and
we
have
what
looks
like
one
public
hearing.
So,
if
you're
talking
on
item
six,
we
asked
that
you
hold
your
comments
till
we
get
to
that
item
and
we
will
call
free
then.
Otherwise,
you
can
address
anything
on
tonight's
agenda
deputy.
You
want
to
go
first.
D
You
know,
like
she
said:
Vito
Calderon,
a
deputy
sheriff
for
now
sky
Sheriff's
Office
just
took
over
position
from
deputy
Sibley
for
the
traffic
spot.
He
moved
on
to
another
position,
know
you
I
know
you
have
been
around
for
like
I
said
about
five
years
in
your
house
before
I.
Don't
know
all
of
you,
but
you'll
get
some
that
mean.

B,
State,
Street
East
good
evening
council,
mayor
on
behalf
of
the
friends
of
the
Oldsmar
library
I'd,
like
to
announce
our
general
membership
meeting
on
Thursday
August
30th
1
p.m.
at
T,
Co
Hall.
We
will
be
discussing
numerous
things,
but
probably
the
most
important
one
is
how
we
are
going
to
celebrate
the
library
centennial.
H
Now
the
save
the
date
is
January
26,
that's
a
Saturday
and
we're
going
to
have
some
festivities
at
ecole
Hall
from
1
to
3
p.m.
now.
We
can't
throw
this
big
party
alone,
so
we
even
asked
for
the
help
of
the
Woman's
Club
of
oldsmar,
and
the
Historical
Society
and
part
of
working
together
is
just
to
remind
everybody
that
they
are
on
summer
hiatus,
not
so
much.
H
The
Friends
of
the
library
The
Woman's
Club
will
be
back
with
their
regular,
2nd
Tuesday
night
meetings
on
September
11th,
but
right
now
they
are
collecting
school
supplies,
Tuesdays
and
Thursdays
from
4:30
p.m.
to
6
p.m.
and
anything
but
PACS.
If
you
go
over
to
the
house,
they'll
be
able
to
take
those
donations
and
the
Historical
Society
will
resume
its
regular
hours
on
Tuesday
September
4th.
So,
like
I
said
our
general
membership
meeting
for
the
Friends
of
the
library
at
T,
Co
Hall
on
Thursday
August
30th
to
1:00
p.m.
G
I
G
H
H
J
Greetings:
councilman
Councilwoman,
we
live
over
on
803
Dartmouth,
Avenue,
West
and
I
have
a
couple
of
Scott
strong.
We
have
a
couple
issues
over
there
that
we
like
addressed
one
is:
we
need
a
dead
end
sign
between
Woodward
and
Bedford.
We
have
a
lot
of
people
to
come
down
there
and
make
the
turn
doesn't
say
dead
end
they
end
up
going
through
driveways
cutting
through
the
the
field
making
turns
so
we'd
like
to
see
a
dead
end.
J
Sign
put
in
second
point:
we
have
is
there's
a
streetlight
on
Bedford
and
start
with
Avenue
that
turns
off
at
night.
It's
pitch
black.
Doesn't
it
kicks
back
on
once
in
a
great
while
we'd
like
to
have
light?
Fixed
third
issue.
We
have
is
the
reclaimed
water
issue,
we
don't
have
reclaimed
water
on
our
street.
We've
been
there
for
six
and
a
half
years,
it's
on
our
water
bill,
but
we
don't
have
reclaimed
water.
If
we
can
have
that
addressed
all
right.
A
K
G
L
L
L
The
city
of
Dunedin
is
getting
ready
to
approve
crossing
580
with
their
golf
carts.
I
wanted
to
see
if
we
could
put
before
the
Sheriff's
Department
as
well
as
the
council
and
everybody
if
we
could
use
legally
580
and
Bayview
put
the
light
to
cross,
to
say,
tractors,
crosshair
and
what
they
don't
have
lights
or
anything,
but
so
it's
legal
for
them
to
cross,
but
it's
kind
of
illegal
for
golf
carts
and
that
opens
up
Thornton's
and
Joe's
produce
and
catch
up
any
and
other
businesses.
L
B
Is
happening
there
has
been
requests
to
have
it
done,
but
there
has
been
no
confirmation
that
FDOT
was
willing
to
do
that.
So
far,
the
city
continues
to
request
it.
The
problem
is,
is
that
in
that
location,
it's
six
lanes
wide
and
more
than
likely,
it
will
not
be
approved
in
Dunedin.
That
may
be
different
from
the
situation
that
you're
talking
about
here,
but
I
can
tell
you
that
it's
not
a
given
at
this
point.
The
city
doesn't
have
control
of
that
street.
B
L
G
A
L
A
Anyway,
I
just
you
know,
in
district
7
I
will
tell
you
this
district
7
is
being
a
lot
more
cooperative
than
district
7
has
been
in
the
past.
The
toms
point,
I,
don't
know
what
they
would
say,
but
you
know
there
are
other
modes
of
transportation
that
cross
580,
pedestrians,
bicycles
and
the
like.
You
know
that
caused
by
baby,
so
at
any
rate
and
they're
most
often
not
lit
or
have
the
safety
thing
so.
A
L
L
My
opinion
and
I
live
on
this
side
but
in
my
opinion,
the
people
that
live
on
that
side
of
Bayview
towards
the
elementary
school
and
all
the
way
to
Jack,
Willie's
or
5,
80,
they're
still
part
of
the
city.
So
why
wouldn't
we
have
the
nice
signs
for
them
as
well?
They
still
pay
city
taxes
granted
they're,
not
in
the
Community
Redevelopment
area,
but
it's
like
we
stop
there
like.
L
L
A
A
A
L
L
A
Make
it
part
of
our
program
Thanks?
Thank
you
very
much
anything
else.
Anybody
else
like
to
address
the
council,
seeing
no
one
will
close
the
citizens
open
forum
will
do
the
mayor's
minute
a
couple
of
recaps.
Now
we
were
all
able
to
attend
the
Mattamy
Holmes
ribbon-cutting
ceremony
at
Bayside
Terrace
property
580
bridge,
just
at
the
base
of
the
bridge.
A
E
L
A
M
A
And
we'll
hear
from
PSTA
in
a
few
minutes
because
they
were
kind
of
involved
partially
or
a
beneficiary
of
the
first
item
on
tonight's
agenda
also.
Hence
the
shirt
that
I
guess
I.
Nobody
else
got
demand.
Oh
today
is
national
Purple,
Heart,
Day
and
servants
that
commemorates
the
creation
of
the
Purple
Heart
Medal
in
1782.
At
current
estimates
about
1.8
million
purple
hearts
have
been
awarded
since
that
year.
Oldsmar
is
honored
to
be
an
official
Purple,
Heart
City.
A
A
First,
they
were
the
first
purple
City,
so
we're
the
second,
so
upcoming
event.
Reminders
back-to-school
reminder
that
Pinellas
County
Schools
begin
on
Monday
August
13th.
Please
heed
the
crossing
guards
and
obey
school
zone,
speed
limits
and
Plus
bus
stops
and
when
they
put
the
arm
out
on
the
bus,
it
does
mean
stop
it.
It
doesn't
mean
floor.
It
so
pay
attention
to
that.
Florida
League
of
Cities
annual
conference
I'm
excited
to
attend
knife
final
conference.
A
N
A
And
I'll
add
to
that
at
the
mayor's
council
we
always
try
and
have
a
keynote
speaker
and
we've
had
senator
Brandis
recently,
and
we
had
representative
chris
brawls
at
our
meeting
last
week
and
they
were
hit
pretty.
He
was.
He
was
very
good
about
it,
had
some
good
dialog
about
home
rule
about
see
Ras
and
about
vacation
rentals,
and
he
had
some
interesting
thoughts.
Kind
of
gave
a
little
bit
of
a
different
perspective.
A
Yeah
I
mean
but
a
different
perspective.
I'll
say
in
a
way
that
did
kind
of
make
a
little
bit
of
sense
and
now
you're
using
prime
example,
commissioner
Wells,
who
represents
south
county
and
mayor
Christman
from
st.
Petersburg,
had
a
couple
of
issues
in
the
CRA
language
and
I.
Think
sometimes
what
happens
and
I
know
I've
been
guilty
of,
it
is
to
say
you
know,
defend
home
rule,
defend
CRA
stay
out
of
it
stay
out
of
it
see.
A
Out
of
it
and
Chris
made
the
point
that
you
know,
you
need
to
be
a
little
more
specific
as
to
what
you're
objecting
and
the
case
in
point
was
Commissioner
Wells
went
down
there
and
said
you
know
and
into
representative
sprawl
as
he
goes.
We
write
this
language
and
we
mean
it
to
mean
one
thing,
but
we
don't
really
know
how
it's
gonna
affect
the
individual
community
and
he
said
so,
commissioner,
well
Scot
with
representative
sprawls
and
said
this
kind
of
language
in
this
particular
thing.
A
N
G
G
A
F
F
A
And
I
didn't
mean
to
digress
into
the
mayor's
minute,
but
I
wanted
to
share
that,
while
people
are
here
still
and
and
and
hear
that
so
that
wraps
up
the
mayor's
minute
and
or
maybe
two
minutes
next
item
is
awards
in
recognition.
And
our
first
item
is
presentation
of
the
PST
a
track
star
award
and
Bob
Lazar
and
Gloria
are
here
to
do
that.
O
That's
AI,
ladies
and
gentlemen,
good
evening,
Bob
Laster
external
affairs
officer,
Pinellas,
Suncoast,
Transit,
Authority
good
to
be
here.
It's
been
a
while
PSTA,
contrary
to
popular
rumor,
constantly
reviews
our
services,
we're
always
trying
to
adapt
to
the
changing
weather.
It's
the
changing
communities,
changing
funding
which
never
seems
to
stop
and
a
great
big
part
of
that
is
a
group
called
our
transit
riders,
Advisory
Committee.
This
is
a
group
of
riders.
They
have
to
ride
at
least
twice
a
week
who
comes
in
once
a
month
and
may
give
us
all
kinds
of
feedback.
O
We
run
our
programs
by
them
for
their
input,
whether
it's
marketing,
whether
it's
planning
the
changes
we're
going
to
to
be
putting
in
and
then
they
let
us
know
what
needs
to
be
tweaked
changed
and
held,
and
I
can
tell
you.
I've
been
PSD
14
years
and
over
the
last
couple
of
years.
This
committee
has
done
some
of
its
absolute
finest
work
in
that
tenure,
and
it
is
mostly
due
to
a
very
remarkable
and
dynamic
lady
who
it
is
my
honor
to
be
introducing
here
tonight.
The
chair
of
that
committee
miss
Gloria
Corrigan.
Thank.
P
You
I
have
served
on
PST,
A's,
transit
riders,
Advisory
Committee
for
the
past
four
years
and
as
the
current
chair
of
the
committee
I'm
honored,
to
have
the
opportunity
to
address
you
this
evening,
I'm
very
proud
of
our
track
members
and
the
positive
impact
these
dedicated
volunteers
have
had
in
improving
service
and
safety
on
all
pious
for
all
PST,
a
Transit
riders.
Our
efforts,
though,
go
even
broader
than
just
about
riding
the
bus.
P
Building
on
the
success
of
a
2017
track
safety
initiative,
we
created,
we
recently
developed
an
important
next
step,
a
program
called
the
track
superior
transit
access,
recognition
or
star
award.
This
program
is
designed
to
recognize
state
and
local
agencies,
contractors,
municipalities
and
private
sector
businesses
that
design
and
build
safe
access
to
transit,
stops
and
services.
P
This
evening,
PST
staff
and
I
are
pleased
to
recognize
the
first
track:
star
Award
recipient
for
the
redevelopment
of
Woodland
Square
Shopping
Center
right
here
in
Old
Samar.
It
is
a
wonderful
example
of
how
public-private
partnership
efforts
have
resulted
in
the
construction
of
a
safe
access
route
to
stores
from
municipal
sidewalks
and
bus
stops.
I
believe
we
have
a
video
at
this
point.
O
O
M
Because
every
transit
rider
is
a
pedestrian,
and
if
we
want
more
people
to
use
transit,
then
we
want
to
get
more
people
out
walking
and
we
just
have
to
make
it
easier
for
people
to
see
how
they
can
get
to
the
front
door
from
the
sidewalk
how
they
can
get
through
a
parking
lot
safely,
without
fear
of
being
run
over
by
somebody
who's,
not
watching
for
a
pedestrian.
You.
O
P
A
O
P
Thank
you
so,
on
behalf
of
the
PSTA
track,
I
would
like
to
pass
along
our
sincere
thanks
and
congratulations
to
the
city
of
Oldsmar
and
to
ram
real
estate
for
earning
this.
Your
partnership.
Excuse
me,
your
partnership
has
helped
to
make
Woodland
Square,
Shopping,
Center,
safe
and
more
accessible
to
pedestrians
and
transit
riders
alike.
P
A
It's
an
honor
to
to
be
the
first
Star
Award
winner,
we've
gotten
a
lot
of
first
LEED
certified
building,
first
single-stream
recycling,
but
having
a
first
like
this,
especially
when
it
relates
to
pedestrian
safety,
is,
is
ultra
incredible.
For
the
city
of
Oldsmar
and
Gloria
has
been
I
was
on
the
PSTA
for
a
couple
of
years,
and
Gloria
is
just
a
champion
for
pedestrian
safety,
and
you
wouldn't
think
about
things
like
just
the
entrance
to
Woodlands
Plaza,
but
you
also
have
I
think
we
had
some
dialogue
with
Bay
news
9
about
an
interview.
A
You
did
back
there
on
580
at
countryside,
mall
and
the
difficulty
trying
to
get
in
there
and
travelling
and
in
travel
lanes,
and
things
like
that,
so
I
tried
to
I
was
going
to
a
MPO
seminar
at
International,
mall
and
I
was
taking
my
life
into
my
own
hands
just
trying
to
cross,
and
you
don't
really
realize
how
important
transportation
safety
is
to
pedestrians.
As
we
said,
the
bus
ride
is
probably
the
safest
it's
getting
on
the
bus
and
getting
off
the
bus.
That's
the
dangerous
part
and
ram
trilogy
was
great
and
I
mentioned
earlier.
A
Their
willingness
to
do
this
and
be
a
partner
with
the
city
and
when
Bay
news9
asked
me
how
you
did
this
I
said
we
told
him
that
they
had
to
do
it.
You
want
to
redevelop
your
plaza
that
these
are
part
of
the
requirements
to
do
it,
and
I
would
like
to
see
more
cities
incorporate
that
into
their
we're,
going
to
be
making
another
entrance
off
of
Tampa
Road
by
the
movie
theater.
That
will
make
accessibility
easier
and,
if
you've
been
there
before,
to
go
from
Earth
fare
to
Alta
and
then
across
the
Marshalls.
A
K
Thank
you
mayor.
This
is
an
email
from
Mark
Van,
Dyke
who's,
the
director
of
development
for
Ram
Realty,
thanks
for
sharing
I
wish
I
could
have
made
it
to
the
presentation
upon
being
notified
that
we
received
the
reward,
and
this
is
directed
at
Murray
dolphin.
Our
director
of
redeveloped
planning
redevelopment
he's
really
you
and
your
staffs
foresight
and
persistent
planning
requirements
that
made
these
improvements
a
reality.
K
In
addition
to
this
recognition,
we've
heard
from
all
the
tenants
and
a
lot
of
customers
that
the
new
east/west,
sidewalk
and
other
sidewalk
improvements
that
made
the
center
much
more
accessible,
which
is
a
point
that's
already
been
made.
If
you
recall
at
my
very
first
meeting
with
you
Michelle
and
Stephen,
it
was
emphasized
that
we
need
to
provide
pedestrian,
can
tivity
specifically
access
from
Canal,
Park,
curlew
Road
and
to
find
a
way
to
connect
the
Marshalls
side
to
bells
and
earth
fare.
K
Additionally,
although
it's
been
somewhat
of
a
challenge,
staff's
vision
and
requirement
that
we
fund
a
sheltered
bus,
stop
on
Tampa
Road
and
find
a
way
to
access,
it
is
being
accomplished
in
addition
to
the
existing
redevelopment
improvements,
the
following
additional
pedestrian
access.
Improvements
will
be
completed
within
the
next
45
days.
This
was
dated
July
27th
per
agreement
with
Pinellas
County
Housing
Authority,
which
owns
adjacent
East,
Lake,
Club
Apartments,
a
new
handicap,
accessible
sidewalk
is
being
constructed
to
connect
the
woodland
square.
A
new
sidewalk
is
being
constructed
near
AMC
Theatres
to
the
existing
Tampa
Road
sidewalk.
K
This
will
intersect
near
the
new
bus,
shelter
with
bench,
trash
receptacle
and
bike
rack,
along
with
a
five
year,
maintenance
commitment.
In
short,
it
is
evident
that
all
the
imposed
required
improvements
are
recognized
than
being
utilized,
as
I
said
before.
Rim
appreciated
all
the
professional
guidance
and
cooperation
extended
throughout
the
woodland
square
redevelopment
thanks
mark
for
Maria
and
her
staff.
A
Thank
you
for
that,
and
we
look
forward
to
them
completing
the
the
rest
of
the
project,
so
you
gotta
do
as
they
ask
them,
and
you
know
so
you
want
to
do
it.
Somebody
asked
about
our
Tampa
Road
corridor
plan
and
how
we
get
such
beautiful
buildings
and
things
like
that,
and
we
tell
them
if
they
want
to
be
in
the
city.
They
got
to
build
it.
The
way
we
want
it.
A
Right,
you
know,
have
nothing
in
the
sea
are
able
so
we'll
move
the
to
the
consent
docket
and
we
have
a
couple
of
items
approve
the
minutes
of
the
July
17th,
2018,
City
Council
meeting
and
that's
oh
yeah.
Sorry
I
was
reading
the
next
item
and
so,
if
nobody
wishes
to
pull
that
into
new
motion.
Second
second
motion:
in
a
second
all,
those
in
favor
of
the.
F
A
Five-Nothing,
thank
you.
Next
to
the
city
of
Oldsmar,
approved
reappointment
of
Davy
knows
as
a
board
member
of
the
Board
of
adjustments
as
which
whose
wasn't
able
to
be
here
tonight
and
before
you
at
your
council
seat.
You
have
some
of
the
attendance
records
for
the
various
boards,
showing
both
that
they
sometimes
don't
meet
and
if
they
were
there
or
excused,
I
think
this
is
requested.
So
you
have
17
and
18
that
is
prior
to
the
meeting
tonight.
A
Q
A
I
A
I
think
it
was
discussed
when
we
asked
for
these
word.
Thank
you
for
putting
these
together.
I
think
the
point
was
also
made
that
even
if
they
were
automatically
removed,
they
could
always
reapply
for
the
for
the
board,
but
you
know
we
want.
We
definitely
want
people
that
want
to
be
committed
to
the
various
boards
and
I
only
bring
that
up,
because
that
kind
of
applies
to
the
other
three.
So,
having
said
that,
I
need
a
motion
to
approve
the
reappointment.
If
so,
desired
are.
F
F
F
The
agenda
yeah,
the
agenda
says
reappointment,
but
he's
been
an
alternate.
So
are
we
appointing
him
to
the
full
board
era
once
again,
as
an
alternate
I
might
say,
okay
I
didn't
realize
that
well,
I
won't
give
you
a
hard
time.
I
know
as
an
alternate.
Sometimes
it's
difficult,
because
I
know
in
the
Board
of
adjustments.
Often
we
request
the
alternates
attend,
but
you're
also
an
alternate.
So
it's
not
you
know,
you're,
not
a
full
board.
Member
I
think
there's
a
bit.
F
You
know
a
greater
commitment
when
you
become
a
full
board
member,
but
you
still
I
see
you've
attended
a
lot
and
I
know
from
that
board
and
I'm
sure
it's
I
don't
know
if
the
other
boards
are
the
same
way,
but
often
when
you
go
as
an
alternate.
If
there's
a
vacancy
that
night,
you
you're
on
the
seat,
so
I
think
I
was
an
alternate
for
a
while,
but
I've
sat
I,
don't
even
how
many
meetings
before
actually
making
the
move
to
a
permanency.
F
A
A
Motion
second
motion
in
a
second
anything
you'd
like
to
add,
do
I
know.
Thank
you.
I
appreciate
the
opportunity,
sir.
Thank
you
and
you
know
as
I
say
all
the
time
the
volunteers
are
really
what
is
the
backbone
of
the
city
when
it
comes
to
these
types
of
things,
because
without
volunteers
we
don't
have
the
money
to
pay
people
to
do
these
types
of
jobs,
so
it
takes
a
volunteer
army.
So
thanks
again
motion
in
a
second
all,
those
in
favor
aye
aye.
They
has
five
nothing
thanks.
It.
A
A
That
in
there,
for
the
record
next
item
is
approved,
the
appointment
reappointment
of
Craig
David
to
as
an
alternate
member
of
code
enforcement.
We
got
the
email
that
he
is
not
able
to
attend.
I
think
at
one
point
we
required
people
to
be
here,
but
I
kind
of
modified
that
if
it's
a
reappointment,
we
should
have
already
met
them
if
they
were
appointed.
A
B
Six
on
your
agenda
is
the
first
reading
in
public
hearing
the
board
ends
2018.
No
six
I'll
read
that
by
title
only
ordinance,
2018
0,
6
and
ordinance
declaring
the
intention
to
the
city
of
Oldsmar
Florida
to
annex
certain
real
property
located
in
Section
22
Township
28
south
range
16.
He
s
further
described
as
lot
17
block
9
map
of
section
number,
1,
West
olds,
more
parcel
number
22,
28.
B
A
E
R
G
Q
F
F
A
G
E
G
I
K
Excuse
me,
I'll
bid
responses
from
the
original
bid
process
exceeded
the
approved
budget
of
one
hundred
and
thirty-five
thousand
dollars
for
this
project,
which
was
the
grant
amount
from
d-o-t.
The
city
has
reevaluated
the
areas
requiring
work
and
adjusted
the
quantities
of
materials
needed
to
accomplish
the
project
goals.
Rebuilding
the
project
with
the
revised
specifications
in
quantities
should
result
in
bid
submissions
more
aligned
with
the
project
budget
and
FDOT
grant
requirements.
The
initial
funding
the
existing
funding
for
the
project
is
included.
The
parks,
division,
budget
and
staff
recommends
approval
for.
G
D
G
A
I
think
I
talked
to
Al
and
I
took
a
Felicia
a
little
bit
today
about
it
and
I.
Think
part
of
part
of
the
reason
that
the
bids
were
higher
than
the
grant
money
was,
if
council
recalls
that
lynn
used
to
use
our
own
city
staff.
So
we
saved
on
the
labor
cost
to
do
that
and
in
talking
to
Al
and
Felicia,
not
sure
that
that's
appropriate
use
of
our
our
manpower,
because
then
they
neglect
they,
while
they're
doing
that
for
the
period
of
time,
then
other
stuff
isn't
getting
done
and
so
at
any
rate.
A
Q
A
K
Number
eight
is
the
termination
of
negotiations
and
the
request
for
council
approval
to
authorize
the
city
manager
to
advertise
twenty
eighteen
days,
zero
one
four
RFQ
design
services
for
the
oldsmar
Sports
Complex.
As
you
know,
we
had
made
an
RFQ
for
this
process
already
and
we
had
entered
to
negotiations
with
Stantec
roughly
at
about
the
same
time.
K
The
some
of
the
issues
that
we
were
trying
to
resolve
regarding
expansion
plans
we're
coming
back
with
some
disappointing
news,
so
it
kind
of
forced
us
to
just
get
scale
back
the
project
and
we
negotiated
good
faith,
but
never
did
arrive
at
a
contractual
agreement
with
static
for
the
original
plan
and
we're
asking
for
a
revised
plan.
We've
contacted
Stantec.
They
have
absolutely
no
problem
with
us
doing
this
been
very
good
to
deal
with
to
try
and
help
us
out.
K
So
what
I'm
requesting
is
council
approval
to
allow
me
to
advertise
for
another
RFQ
process
for
a
revised
design
services
plan
for
the
Sports
Complex?
Let's
see,
maybe
if
I
could
say
this
a
little
better
prior
to
this,
except
the
execution
of
a
contract
which
we
never
did,
it
was
discovered
that
the
city
would
not
be
permitted
to
utilize
land
included
in
the
original
master
plan
design.
That's
essentially
the
meat
of
it.
K
As
a
result,
the
scope
of
work
for
the
project
is
deviated
from
the
original
plan
and,
as
such,
a
revised
solicitations
to
see
qualified
firms
to
provide
design
services
per
the
updated
scope
is
recommended.
That's
a
nutshell,
and
funding
is
available
in
the
capital
budget
in
fund
302
staff
again
recommends
approval.
Thank
you,
mayor
I,.
A
K
Number
nine
is
request:
council
approval
for
the
renewal
of
the
Pinellas
public
library,
cooperative,
interlocal
agreement.
It's
fairly
self-explanatory.
We've
been
a
member
of
the
cooperative
for
a
number
of
years.
I
believe
this
is
the
second
renewal,
so
now
I'm
just
trying
to
keep
you
awake,
I
lost
track
of
that
too
attached.
Did
you
see
that
revised
interlocal
agreement?
It
does
have
modifications
in
it?
I
might
ask
sue
to
come
up.
If
you
had
any
questions,
the
changes
are
actually
summarized
by
the
coop
and
they're
very
minor.
K
The
one
at
the
bottom
of
the
page
regarding
has
changed
to
the
funding
formula.
The
funding
formula
is
usually
the
bone
of
contention
for
the
cities
that
are
involved
in
it.
The
change
to
the
funding
formula
that
has
no
effect
on
us.
It's
just
a
different
way
that
they
decided
to
handle
what
you
qualified
for
if
you
had
construction
expenses,
so
naturally
that
would
have
done
us
more
good
if
it
happened
in
the
year
when
we
built
the
library,
so
the
rest
of
it
is
very
minor.
It's
outlined
in
your
cover
memo.
K
A
K
Yes,
that
if
we
did
that
potentially
would
be
counted
at
a
greater
rate
than
it
was
the
year
we
built
the
actual
building
there
used
to
be
a
cap,
it
was
25
percent
or
think
it
125
thousand
saying
you
remember
that
at
all.
Well,
it's
a
long
time
ago
now,
but
we
were
able
to
qualify
for
dollars.
We
spent
towards
the
construction
of
library,
but
they
were
captain
learning
now,
they're,
not
okay.
So
those.
K
F
I
T
A
T
I've
worked
well,
we've
been
a
member
of
it
for
a
long
time,
but
one
of
the
things
they've
done
recently
and
I've
worked
here
long
enough.
It
was
until
about
ten
years
ago
that
we
were
able
to
get
a
unified,
countywide
catalog
system.
So
we
would
all
have,
you
know,
be
able
to
see.
What's
in
the
other
libraries
when
I
started
14
years
ago,
we
were
just
in
a
catalog
with
several
different
libraries.
T
If
he
wanted
to
know
what
Clearwater
had
you
had
to
go
to
a
different
website
and
it
was
a
whole
nother
process
to
order
anything
now
we're
all
on
the
same
catalog
throughout
the
county.
There's
a
lot
of
partnerships
that
P
PLC
provides
us
with
that
we
wouldn't
be
able
to
do
on
our
own,
such
as
our
museum,
past
partnership
that
we've
had
for
about
a
year
where
now
you
can
check
out
a
pass
and
you
can
get
into
several
or
several
museums
in
the
county
for
free,
like
the
Museum
of
Fine
Arts
and
st.
T
E
T
T
A
A
T
T
K
T
E
T
E
I
Tell
you,
though,
many
years
back
before
I
was
on
council
when
I
wanted
to
rent
out
one
of
your
books.
When
I
was
doing
the
history
like
there
was
like
a
wait
list
in
order
to
get
I
think
maybe
it
was
the
first
or
second
book
you
did
or
like
I
had
to
bring
it
back
within
a
certain
number
of
weeks,
because
there
were
other
people
waiting
on
it.
A
K
K
U
Okay,
we
do
it
annually,
it's
some
document,
that's
developed
with
Knox,
County
and
24
municipalities
and
basically
it's
projects
that
have
to
do
with
hazard
mitigation,
for
example
hardening
of
the
City
Hall
with
you
know:
Windows
Emergency,
Operations
plans,
educational
activities,
etc.
So
every
year
we
look
through
the
projects
and
the
ones
that
are
completed.
It's
in
the
document,
you'll
see
the
completed
ones
and
the
upcoming
documents
sorry
upcoming
projects.
So
we
also
use
this
as
our
flood
plain
management
plan.
We
get
points
through
the
community
rating
system.
K
U
A
A
A
E
K
The
Lightning
have
an
existing
program
in
place
whereby
funds
are
made
available
from
the
NHL
Players
Association
to
assist
local
communities
in
the
Tampa
Bay
area
to
construct
outdoor
rinks
in
order
to
help
grow
the
sport
in
the
region.
The
Lightning
foundation
offers
many
benefits
to
the
city
in
this
endeavor.
They
will
pay
for
the
construction
of
the
rink
not
exclusively,
but
they
certainly
contribute
heavily.
They
provide
equipment
for
the
community's
use,
they
will
assist
the
city
in
setting
up
and
running
leagues.
K
They
perform
periodic
clinics
using
lightning
alumnae
and
will
provide
publicity,
promotions
and
assistance
in
promoting
the
facility.
Best
of
all.
In
my
opinion,
we
would
be
establishing
a
relationship
between
the
city
and
the
Lightning
franchise
right
now,
I
believe
the
team
is
considered
one
of
the,
if
not
the
most
well
respected
organization
of
professional
sports
today,
so
we're
requesting
council
approval
of
the
agreement.
The
agreement
in
the
packet
is
has
been
revised.
Slightly
Tom
had
negotiated
successfully
with
the
team's
attorneys
for
a
slight
change
to
one
of
the
insurance
paragraphs
I
distributed
before
the
meeting.
K
B
So
in
paragraph
7d,
which
is
on
page
three
of
six,
there
was
a
requirement
that
we
would
have
to
provide
an
insurance
certificate
showing
all
these
organizations
that
are
affiliated
with
a
lightening
foundation
to
be
an
additional
insured.
Our
carrier
does
not
allow
for
that.
So
the
way
that
we've
handled
it
is
is
that
we've
modified
the
language
to
say
that
we're
only
going
to
provide
and
with
an
additional
insured
certificate
to
one
organization,
Lightning
Foundation
Inc,
and
it's
only
going
to
be
after
the
construction
is
completed.
B
A
B
I
B
Gonna
be
we're
gonna,
be
owning
the
rink,
it's
gonna
be
on
our
property,
so
I
would
suspect
any
cause
of
action
would
name
the
city
first
and
then
you
know,
obviously,
if
if
the
Lightning
foundation
was
involved
in
some
way,
we
would
bring
them
in
as
an
ape
Artie
that
has
indemnified
us,
so
we'd
be
looking
to
them
for
coverage.
Okay,
but
more
than
likely
the
city
would
be
sued.
First,
okay,.
E
A
A
K
We
assume
there's
gonna,
be
significant,
wide-ranging
use.
We
also
are
looking
into
the
possibility
of
getting
recessed
soccer
goals.
What
we
called
it
was
outdoor
indoor
soccer.
If
remember
the
old
Rowdies
days
at
the
Bayfront
center,
it's
a
hockey
rink,
but
the
goals
are
recessed
off
of
what
the
boards
would
be.
We
tried
to
do
that.
Initially,
we
couldn't
get
that
done
because
the
legalities
said
we
wanted
to
get
moving
on
this,
but
we
hope
maybe
you
get
a
retrofit
down
the
road,
so
we
can
use
it
for
soccer.
K
I
K
You
control
them
so
totally
up
to
us
and
I.
My
plan
is
to
our
residents
first,
obviously
teaming
with
the
Lightning,
create
amazing
opportunities,
but
it's
our
asset.
They
recognize
that
so
and
they're
there
to
help
us
run
leagues
and
have
tournaments
and
whatnot,
but
we'll
have
street
hockey
on
our
own
I'm
hoping
we
have
a
city
team
because
you
can't
move
me
out
of
the
crease,
but
that's
just
that:
I
love,
hi,
I,
love
hockey,
I
love
street
hockey,
I!
Don't
move
real
well,
but.
I
A
N
K
Sir
I
guess
I'd
say
it's
a
bit
of
guesswork.
It
now,
but
I've
kind
of
figured
we've
got
about.
We
have
we'll
have
ongoing
maintenance,
cost
I'm
expecting
that
to
maybe
be
about
10
grand
the
first
year.
I'd
also
like
to
improve
the
rink.
We
got
to
kind
of
get
it
up.
Get
it
vertical
see
what
it
looks
like
there
has
been
website
access
to
others
that
you
can
kind
of
see
what
they
look
like
once
it's.
M
K
Capital
improvements
are
possible
down
the
road.
Obviously,
council
would
have
to
approve
those
as
part
of
the
budget.
That
would
be
where
bigger
bucks
would
be
I'm.
Thinking
of
a
canopy-
that's
just
spitballing
at
this
point,
but
the
two
main
ones,
I
would
say
would
be
budgeting
for
maintenance,
which
I
say
I've
got
in
my
mind,
10
grand
for
the
first
year.
K
If
we
end
up,
if
it
blows
up
in
terms
of
popularity,
I'd
be
thinking
of
the
possibility
of
needing
one,
maybe
one
and
a
half
more
employees,
so
that
would
be
another
cost
for
whatever
we
ended
up
paying
them,
but
that's
kind
of
a
ballpark
idea
for
what
I'm
thinking
of
it.
In
terms
of
we
have
a
BMX,
we
have
an
employee
and
a
part-timer
that
whose
main
job
is
to
maintain
and
deal
with
all
the
issues.
Bmx
I'm
thinking
about
it
in
that
light,
I,
don't
think
we're.
K
Gonna
have
to
do
anything
right
away,
because
we
got
to
see
how
the
team
leads
us
into
how
they're,
participating
and
getting
things
going,
but
down
the
road,
so
I
would
say
10
grand
first
year.
If
we
come
to
you,
the
budget
revision
for
personnel
would
be
the
cost
of
a
full-timer,
possibly
a
full-timer.
In
another
part,
timer
and.
F
K
A
K
A
That
point
I
think
there's
certainly
revenue
opportunities
of
various
types.
You
know
with
different
tournaments
and
things
like
that.
There's
advertising
revenue,
rights
or
opportunities,
as
you
indicated
to
me
and
correct
me
if
I'm
wrong,
the
interior
of
the
rink
goes
to
the
Lightning
and
and
their
sponsorship
partnerships
and
whatever
that
is
and
I
don't
know.
If
those
are
tied
to
the
foundation
to
go
back
into
the
foundation,
probably
would
make
sense.
Do
you
know
Tom
if
they
are
I.
F
Helping
well-
and
you
know
from
that
standpoint-
even
I
mean
this
advantage
of
working
with
the
Lightning
and
that
kind
of
world-class
organization,
and
that
is
when
I
saw
the
the
sponsorship
rights
I
talked
to
how
about
a
little
bit-
it's
kind
of
scratched,
my
head,
but
he
made
a
very
good
point
and
it
is
true,
first
table
they're
only
gonna
do
things
first-class
yeah.
Secondly,
the
probability
might
exist
if
we
have
some
type
of
events
that
are
there
that
are
large
enough
and
so
forth.
Those
same
sponsors
may
want
to
do
some.
F
K
They
asked
me
that,
because
to
our
knowledge,
they've
got
contractual
agreements
in
process
with
three
other
municipalities,
one
in
Pinellas
County,
but
they're,
not
vertical
anywhere.
That
I
think
there's
one
rank.
That's
been
built
in
a
private
community
in
North
Tampa
somewhere,
but
not
for
a
municipality
I,
don't
believe
it
was.
Was
it
North,
Tampa,
rec,
I,
think
about
it?
Yes,
it's
would
the
city
yeah.
It's.
K
K
To
have
something
vertical
by
December
31st,
that's
the
I
mean
it's
a
hope,
but
that's
he
that's
what
I
said.
I
thought
my
hope.
Wasn't.
They
sounded
very
excited
about
that,
so
they
already
have
a
vendor
lined
up.
They
have
kind
of
a
company
that
they
used
to
do
these
and
they
part
of
the
program
is
that
there's
going
to
be
10
of
them
in
the
tip
area
at
least
initially
and
I,
chaired
with
a
few
of
you
and
I
met
and
forgotten
the
others.
K
But
to
me
the
coolest
thing
was
Tom
did
a
good
job
of
navigating
this,
because
this
was
in
its
original
form,
a
boilerplate
and
then
mr.
Feaster
yeah,
it's
a
man-crush.
Sorry
mr.
Feaster
said
to
me
that
they,
oh
you,
don't
just
call
it
laser
eyes.
This
I
do
but
I'm
trying
to
be
polite.
They
they
plagiarized
this
from
the
Pittsburgh
Penguins
coolest
thing.
I've
ever
heard.
I
got
this
back
news
from
the
Tampa
Bay
Lightning
and
I.
K
Of
it
was
10
initially,
but
the
point
to
the
comments
about
the
Penguins
was
there's
a
hundred
of
them
in
Allegheny
County,
oh
wow,
so
their
goal
and
mr.
Easter's
new
title
went
from
GM
now
is
titled
as
director
of
community
hockey.
Development
is
part
of
how,
anyway
they
can
grow
the
sport.
So
10
was
maybe
phase
1,
but
he
certainly
left
me
without
any
specific
instructions.
But
he
left
me
with
the
impression
that
they're,
not
stopping
at
10
just
depends.
They
want
to
get
the
first
ones
out.
K
There
see
how
they
go
so
to
be
in
the
first
3
or
4
is
an
advantage
as
well,
because
the
commitment
they've
already
made
to
giving
us
lightning
alumni
to
do
quarterly
clinics
is
fantastic.
Now,
one
of
our
employees
that
Deb
knows
this
Amy
Ratliff,
her
son,
is
very
active
in
the
Junior
Lightning.
A
lot
of
the
former
Lightning
players
are
youth
coaches
that
have
stayed
here,
so
they
have
a
absolute
fantastic
resource
for
guys.
There's,
probably
25,
guys
and
being
in
Florida
doesn't
hurt,
because
a
lot
of
guys
that
get
traded
here
come
here.
K
They
always
keep
their
homes.
Vinny
Wachovia
is
back
yeah,
like
he's
retired,
but
he
lives
here,
so
the
area
is
so
attractive
to
them
that
they
have
a
fantastic
resource
of
guys
that
are
all
community
minded
that
are
willing
to
participate
so
to
be
in
the
front
of
that
is
a
potential
big
advantage
to
just
because
we'll
take
advantage
of
guys
or
you
know-
will
develop
a
relationship
with
some
of
them.
So
very.
F
I
A
K
K
A
They're,
just
an
exciting
organization
and
I've
had
conversations
about
the
different
sports
teams
with
Al
and
maybe
Felicia's.
You
know
talking
about
the
radio
station
that
I've
worked
for
negotiated
contracts
with
the
lightning
and
the
Bucs,
and
the
Rays
and
the
Lightning
were
leaps
and
bounds
ahead
of
the
Bucks
and
way
leaps
and
bounds
ahead
of
the
arrays.
So
it.
F
A
V
N
A
It's
exciting
and
Eric
mentioned
I.
Wasn't
gonna
bring
it
up
at
this,
but
you're
right.
You
know
we
were
really
hoping
for
something
similar
to
this
or
even
on
a
minut
scale
of
this
with
the
MLS
Red
Bulls
in
it.
It's
unfortunate
that
it
didn't
pan
out
or
hasn't
panned
out,
but
that
just
shows
you
the
class
of
the
Tampa
Bay
Lightning
and
really
wanted
to
be
a
community
partner
and.
Q
A
A
Second,
all
those
in
favor,
thank
you,
I
did
okay.
Good
next
is
to
consider
a
letter
to
Pinellas
County
Board
of
County
Commissioners,
requesting
funding
assistance
for
the
purpose
of
building
a
trail
connection
from
the
north
and
of
Pine
Avenue
to
the
Brooker
Creek
Preserve
environmental
education
center.
Is
there
any
background
that
we
wish
to
share
on
this?
Only.
K
A
There's
been
some
dialogue,
we've
all
had
it
with
various
county
commissioners
and
all
that
I
know
Dean,
I,
think
being
and
deputy
CAC
11
I'm
doing
at
certain
times
of
the
year.
They're
portions
of
that
trail
that
are
under
I,
don't
know
how
much
water?
How
much
would
you
say
at
times
quite
a
bit
yeah
so.
G
A
K
We
have
options
of
Wednesday,
September
5th
at
4:00
p.m.
would
be
our
first
shot
at
it.
Then
an
alternate
date
might
be
Thursday
September
6th
at
6:00
p.m.
with
a
caveat
on
that
date,
because
we'd
have
to
adjust
the
code
enforcement
board
meeting
for
four
o'clock
that
day
or
just
understand
that
they're
in
here
right
and.
E
K
A
G
E
E
E
G
G
When
I
ran
for
mayor
the
first
time,
the
city
of
Omar
was
divided
right
in
half
and
they
were
ready
to
crucify
the
council
and
I
wasn't
on
council.
They
were
ready
to
crucify
them
and
it
was
a.
It
was
a
terrible
election
to
run
in
and
I
I
when
he
got
in
it,
because
I
saw
the
city
going
down
the
damn
toilet
and
it
was
a
rough
election
and
there
was
about
seven
candidates
and
they
were
all
running
to
fire.
The
city
manager
in
the
fire,
the
council
and
the
old
ball
of
wax.
G
G
They
put
up
a
candidate
against
every
one
of
the
councilmembers
and
I
ran
for
mayor,
knowing
that
my
chances
were
really
slim.
This
is
1995
because
of
the
hatred
against
each
other
and
I
was
glad
tonight
that
it
ended.
I
was
happy,
I'm
glad
it's
over
with
knowing
that
I
didn't
win,
but
I
did
win
the
guy.
That
I
was
running
against
headed
up
to
the
city
since
19
1959
early
1960s,
so
he'd
live
in
the
city
a
long
time
more
than
I.
G
G
And
that's
to
be
expected
to
have
competition,
I
mean
that
doesn't
bother
me,
but
they
said
that
it
bothered
them
when
there
are
communities
and
I've
had
three
different
communities.
That
told
me
that
they're
gonna
go
door-to-door
for
me.
If
I
will
do
something,
they
didn't
like
what
they
were
hearing
and
after
listening
them,
they
gave
me
a
four
page,
four
pages.
G
That
was
both
sign
like
a
petition
for
me
to
run
for
mayor
and-
and
they
said
we
want
to
talk
to
you
about
that,
because
they
didn't
like
what
was
going
on
and
I
really
don't
know
what
was
going
on,
but
I
know
something
was
going
on
now.
I
feel
that
okay
and
that's
fine,
see
I
had
the
highest
city
clerk
in
the
city
attorney
I
can
fight
that
they
want
to
play
a
game
with
me.
G
I'll
play
a
game,
think
tried
to
get
me
impeached
well,
they're,
all
they
all
got
fire
and
I'm
still
here
so
I
told
them
that
I
would
I
would
consider
their
the
request
they
want
me
to
meet
with
the
other
representatives
and
I
said
I'll
meet
with
you
so
tonight,
I'm
announcing
that
I'm
running
for
City
Council
I
am
running
for
a
City,
Council
seat
and
I'll.
Consider
talking
to
this
to
these
three
or
four
different
groups
and
I'm
going
to
back
up
a
little
bit.
G
There's
something
I've
said
many
times,
but
I
didn't
I,
don't
really
care
for
the
way
it's
working
out
this
time,
I
told
him
I
wouldn't
be
with
him,
and
I
would
consider
the
request
and
then
I
will
speak
with
my
beautiful
wife
and
we'll
make
a
decision
so
I'm
announcing
that
I
am
running
for
a
City
Council
seat.
I
won't
say
which
seat
until
a
couple
three
weeks,
whether
I'm
going
to
run
for
mayor
or
for
this
seat
here,
I
have
to
get
that
out.
I
have
to
get
that
out.
G
I've
always
been
right
up
front.
If
I
tell
you
I'm
with
you
I'm
with
you
and
there's
been,
some
things
that
came
back
and
have
that's
been
disturbing
to
me
is
how
it's
working
out
I
know,
there's
been
two
or
three
people
been
in
fact.
This
seat
already
has
a
somebody
that
that
is
announced
for
it,
and
that's
fine
and
whatever
seat
I
run
for
I'm
going
to
run
to
win.
G
No
bars
hold
like
I,
say,
say
somebody
better,
announce
well,
I
have
new
ideas.
What's
your
new
ideas,
I
want
to
help
the
people?
How
are
you
going
to
help
me
see?
I,
don't
have
to
say
here's.
What
I
want
to
do.
I
can
say
here's
what
I've
done.
I
won't
put
that
up.
Frankly,
you
win
or
lose
I
love
this
city.
This
city
has
been
good
to
my
beautiful
wife
of
me,
but
the
way
I
am
I'm
up
front.
I
have
to
say
this
tonight,
I
have
to
say
it.
G
A
And
I
think
to
your
point
and
I
appreciate
your
input.
I
think
we've
all
probably
been
approached,
and
we,
when
we've
run,
have
approached
existing
council
members
and
asked
for
their
input
and
advice
and
I
always
encourage
whoever
I've
talked
to
to
run
that's
their
right.
You
know
win
or
lose.
That
is
like
we've
all
been
in
that
position.
A
A
I'm
not
and
I,
don't
know
anything
about
that,
but
but
as
long
as
this
isn't
something
you
know
and
they're
entitled
to
their
opinion,
you
know
but
I
think
that's
the
one
thing
that
makes
us
a
strong
and
great
city
is
that
I
think
we
all
had
the
best
interest
of
the
city
at
heart.
We
might
have
our
own
opinions
and
we
might
differ
on
votes
at
times.
That
I
think
are.
A
N
I
It's
exhausting
with
19
thousand
nine
hundred
and
ninety
nine
of
your
coworkers.
No,
it's
a
lot
of
work
so
and
Tom.
Thank
you
for
the
prayer
for
Steven
and
his
family
in
the
city.
I
thought
that
was
beautiful
and
I
feel
for
all
of
the
city
staff,
especially
those
that
work
with
Steven
on
a
daily
basis
and
also
additional
prayers
for
your
husband
Kathy
for
Steve
and
I
did
want
to
mention
one
thing
that
I've
noticed
and
I
think
shame
on
me
too,
because
the
bay
Arbor
Plaza
when
we
voted
to
approve
the
first
watch.
I
I
know
we
brought
up
the
parking
challenges
there
and
since
it
was
a
brunch
place,
you
know
my
assumption
was
that
most
of
the
parking
challenges
were
in
the
evening
with
the
dinner
restaurants,
and
so
that
was
kind
of
one
of
the
reasons
why
I
felt
like
I
was
fine
with
approving
the
site
plan,
as
is
but
I
have
had
some
additional
interaction
in
the
afternoons
there
during
the
week,
and
it
is
a
parking
disaster.
I
cannot
be
up
to
code.
There
is
absolutely
a
safety
hazard
going
on
and
so
I
bring
this
up.
I
One
because
I've
heard
from
multiple
tenants
like
pleading
you
know
what
can
be
done
to
help.
They
said
they
went
together
jointly
to
the
owner
and
he
basically
told
him
to
you
know
hit
the
curb,
didn't
seem
to
care
that
you
know.
None
of
the
or
none
of
the
constituents
or
visitors
to
the
city
can
never
find
parking
in
that
Plaza
I
mean
literally
you're
parking
anywhere.
You
can
and
it's
it
can't
be
legal
where
people
are
parking
and
I
just
think.
If
there
was
something
that
happened.
I
You
know
and
I
just
want
to
know
what
can
be
done
as
a
city
to
encourage
the
owner
to
create
the
parking
that
they
need.
There
I
don't
know
what's
possible,
but
it
almost
needs
a
garage
I
think
based
off
of
now
the
first
watch
being
there.
Taco
Tuesday
is
apparently
the
worst
time
to
go
and
I
just
I
feel
for
the
tenants
everybody
that
works.
I
A
I
could
because
I
was
involved
with
the
complaint,
because
I
live
in
Bay
Arbor
behind
it
and
I
was
involved
before
I
even
became
a
council
person
and
part
of
the
problem
is,
unfortunately,
they
are
compliant
with
the
code
that
their
site
plan
was
approved
under,
and
that
was
the
objection
that
I
had
at
the
initial
onset.
Was
that,
but.
A
A
A
I,
it's
I,
don't
know
what
the
difference
is
between
restaurants
and
and
like,
as
opposed
to
what
for
like
a
dry,
cleaner
yeah
I
mean
it's
so
that
has
been
the
biggest
problem,
which
is
why
Bay
Arbor
before
again
I
was
on
council
requests
no
parking
signs
along
our
Boulevard,
because
we
are
afraid
that
they
were
going
to
do
that.
I
was
approached
by
Ron
occur.
A
A
I
E
I
I
E
I
N
A
G
I
A
A
E
A
See
if
for
employees
only
we've
made
progress
with
that
back
in
the
day,
I
know.
At
one
point,
employees
were
parking
in
the
Duke
Energy
power
line
by
chicks
that
I
guess
got
ixnay
by
the
Duke
or
somebody.
The
recommendation
that
I
made,
which
is
an
expensive
one,
is
to
put
a
put
a
parking
deck
on
top
of
their
stormwater
pond
back
there.
It's
not
cheap,
but
you
could
you
could
do
it
just
like
you
build
a
parking
deck
with
prefab,
slabs
and
columns
to
support
them.
I
No
I
would
I
hate
to
see
is
if
they
make
it
so
difficult
that,
then
a
tenant
decides
to
leave,
and
now
we've
lost
a
business,
because
you
know
what
I
mean
like
and
I
just
I
feel
a
little
bit.
I
feel
like
I
said.
Shame
on
me
for
not
recognizing
that
you
know.
I
realized
I
brought
it
up
about
the
first
much
building,
because
I
even
have
parked
in
up
that
spot
before,
but
I
thought
well,
it's
just
brunch,
but
what
I
realize
is
the
afternoon
is
the
worst
of
all.
Well.
I
A
A
E
A
S
E
S
Once
construction
is
done,
you're
gonna
get
those
spaces
back,
so
that's
going
to
mean
I,
prove
them
right
there.
Now,
there's
no
violation
for
with
the
vehicles
of
parking
not
to
get
was
any
what
to
go
out
there
and
evaluate
the
situation
to
go
because
of
the
Thor.
Do
you
write
the
tickets
so
I?
Don't.

This
year
my
daughter
took
Mike's
grandsons
down
to
Fort
Meyer
beach,
and
it
was
actually
a
dolphin
big
porpoise
to
big
red
grouper,
we're
kind
of
messing
up
our
environment
a
little
bit
I,
don't
know
what
we're
gonna
do,
but
next
week
at
the
Hollywood
conference,
I'm
gonna
focus
on
environmental
issues
with
Mayor
Beavis
and
try
to
find
out
how
we
can
solve
these
issues
with
this
red
tide.
I'm
really
concerned
about
my
future,
my
grandson's
future
and
the
people's
future
of
our
environment,
because
we
can't
afford
to
lose
all
these
fish.
Damn.
G
N
N
Well,
the
dinner
the
breakfasts
getting
him
off
to
summer
camp,
which
one
I
want
to
mention:
ship,
Felicia
and
especially
Leonard
day
one
Monday
morning
they
go
in
there,
I
pick
them
up,
they
hated
it
grandpa.
Can
you
come
pick
us
up
early,
please
and
then
by
Friday
they
were
like.
Can
we
come
back
Saturday
can
we
they
were
giving
everybody
hugs
all
the
volunteers
Leonard
they
wouldn't
let
go
of
Leonard
when
they
were
leaving.
They
wanted
to
come
back.
N
A
You
off
to
that
point:
I
went
down
to
the
fish
camp
that
they
had
when
they
did
their
little
fish
fry
and
all
that
some
of
the
same
things
you
see
where
you
know
it's
like
anything
it
the
first
day
they
didn't
hate
it,
but
but
by
the
end,
our
city
staff
is
a
really
good
job,
making
the
kids
feel
really
at
home
in
the
city.
So
a.
E
A
F
F
F
I
F
Goal
air
just
commenting
about
how
much
easier
that
made
her
life,
and
so
you
know
kudos
to
the
department
and
everyone
who
was
involved
in
it
because
it
it
it
makes
a
difference
and
and
I'm
going
to
touch
on
something
Jerry
brought
up
and
in
the
mayor.
I
couldn't
agree
with
the
mayor
more
in
the
sense
that
you
know
ever
ever
since
I
first
ran
for
council
and
first
even
thought
about
running
for
counts
and
actually
went
and
was
really
appreciative
of
the
time
that
people
gave
who
served
up
here
to
go.
E
F
You're
thinking
about
it,
you're
talking
about
it
and
I've
always
made
that
a
policy
to
say
to
people
I'll
be
an
open
book.
I'll
tell
you
everything,
I
know
you
know,
ask
me
an
opinion.
I'll
give
you
a
straightforward,
both
hard
buckle,
answer
and
political
answer,
and
just
an
open
book
about
it,
and
so
I.
F
Well
to
this
next
election
and
I'm
doing
so
in
part,
because
I
like
seeing
the
things
that
have
happened
in
the
city
over
the
years,
I
believe
I
have
the
experience
to
do
it
and,
and
more
importantly,
I-
have
the
commitment
to
do
it
and
so
Jerry.
If
you
decide
that
you're
gonna
run
for
mayor
who
make
good
opponents
and
they're
not,
then.
E
A
You
and
I
will
announce
that
I
am
not
running
for
back,
nor
any
other
seat
on
the
City
Council,
oh,
and
and
to
add
to
that,
to
your
point
about
why
we
do
it
and
to
talk
to
people.
My
first
question
when
I
ran
for
mayor
the
first
time
was
dude
I
have
the
support
of
the
council,
because,
if
I
didn't
have
the
support
of
the
council
again,
it
doesn't
mean
we
need
to
agree.
A
But
if
I
didn't
have
the
support
of
the
council,
I
didn't
want
to
run
so
that
that
was
important
too,
because
I
think
it's
I
think
it's
very
important
that
we
have
a
very
good,
cohesive
group
here
and
are
always
trying
to
move
the
ball
forward.
So
that's
a
very
important
part,
and
so
good
luck
to
who
does
whoever
does
run
and
and
things
like
that
so
also
to
our
city,
staff
and
and
the
Stevens
family
I
was
with
Allen.
He
got
the
call
at
Friday
and
I.
A
Don't
know
how
he
felt,
but
you
just
your
head
just
falls
into
your
hand
and
you're,
not
true.
What's
going
on
or
why
and
you
don't
have
any
of
the
answers
and
then
Sunday
I
talked
to
Al,
and
he
gave
me
Stevens
sisters
number
and
that
has
to
be
one
of
the
toughest
calls
I've
ever
made
was
to
talk
to
her
and
relay
our
thoughts
from
the
city,
both
from
the
staff
and
the
city
and
and
the
businesses
that
he
worked
with.
A
She
was
better
than
I
was
I
can
tell
you
that
she
lives
in
Tampa
and
I
told
her
that
if
it's
okay
with
her,
we
would
like
to
do
something.
You
know
for
Steven
and
and
for
them
and
and
for
the
city
staff
and
everybody
grieves
a
different
way,
but
that
that
was
one
of
the
toughest
calls
I
ever
had
to
make
in
my
life.
A
So
our
thoughts
go
out
to
them
on
a
different
note
at
our
North
County
mayor's
Council
that
we
have
it's
the
five
mayor's
in
North
County,
Dunedin
safety,
Harper,
tarpon,
Clare,
water
and
oldsmar.
It's
the
mayors
and
city
managers
and
mayor
bill
Josie
from
Dunedin
brought
this
up,
and
then
we
brought
it
up
again
at
the
mayor's
Council
of
pinellas,
which
I
chair
and
it
was
about
recycling
and
the
future
of
recycling
in
the
future
of
of
trash.
Tom
snow
knows
better
than
I.
A
A
Do
they
do
their
or
do
they
outsource
it
or
they
do
they
not
do
it
at
all,
which
I
think
is
Pinellas,
County
or
and
then
same
with
their
trash.
Do
they
do
it
themselves,
and
we
had
a
myriad
of
answers
that
we're
going
to
tabulate
and
send
and
the
reason
I
say
that
and
a
little
bit
of
a
difference
between
the
city
of
Oldsmar
and
some
other
cities
is
that
we
contract
both
our
trash
and
our
recycling.
We
have
what
three
more
years
left.
A
We
have
a
great
agreement
with
Republic,
which
you
know
they
probably
don't
like
as
well
now,
but
we
have
a
three
year
agreement
and
one
of
the
differences
too
that
helps
offset
it
a
little
bit
is
that
they
are
doing
our
trash
and
our
recycling.
So
they
have
the
ability
to
to
offset
some
of
the
cost
or
potential
losses
that
they
make,
but
in
the
city
of
Dunedin
they
do
their
own
trash
pickup,
but
they
outsource
the
the
recycling
and
I
believe
it
goes
to
Sarasota.
A
The
yeah,
the
plastics
that-
and
so
it's
a
problem
and
I
brought
this
up
to
representative
sprawls
that
you
know
this
is
something
that's
gonna
affect
not
just
our
state,
but
the
country
as
a
whole
fast
forward
that
a
little
bit
that
was
on
last
Wednesday
and
I
can't
remember.
What's
one
of
those
news
programs,
it
was
over
the
weekend,
20
20
or
60
minutes,
or
whenever
there
there
was
a
story
about
recycling
and
the
problem
that
the
China
situation
is
posing
to
us
and
and
our
residents.
A
You
know
I,
don't
know
if
it's
a
great
answer
anymore.
I
think
that
the
the
age
of
recycling
when
it
first
started,
was
when
we
used
to
take
these
and
our
gallon
milk
jugs
and
our
you
know
our
laundry
detergent
and
they
just
went
straight
into
the
landfill.
In
this
current
state
and
I
talked
to
representative
sprawls
and
Kathleen
Peterson
and
Aherne,
who
was
at
the
luncheon
and
I
think
what
we
have
in
in
Pinellas
County.
The
waste-to-energy
thing
is,
is
more
common
than
than
not
in
the
state,
and
you
know
so
now.
A
Instead
of
taking
this
and
putting
it
in
the
landfill,
it
gets
burned
and
generates
energy
and
it
can
gets
converted
to
ash,
which
is
you
know,
a
percentage
of
the
volume
that
it
used
take
and
it's
producing
energy
and
and
whatever
program
I
was
watching.
It
talked
about
and
I
posted
this
on
Facebook
I
said.
I
E
A
Plastic,
china
wow
what
an
eye-opener
that
you
know,
because
we
feel
good
that
we
put
this.
My
point
is:
there's
got
to
be
a
different
solution
to
this
problem
and
it's
a
bigger
solution
than
just
a
city
of
Oldsmar.
But
when
you
look
at
the
conditions,
it's
about
a
30
minute
documentary
that
I
watched
I
have
the
link
to
it.
But
it's
awful
I
mean
it's
awful
to
see
that
this
stuff
that
we
feel
so
good
about
putting
in
our
blue
bins
goes
over
there
and
there's.
A
You
know
three
and
four
year
old
kids
sorting
through
this
stuff
cutting
labels
off
and
they
get.
You
know
pennies
on
the
pound
or
whatever
it
is
that
they
that
they
do
and
they're
burning
it
melting
it
and
the
toxic
fumes
that
are
coming
out
of
it
that
they
have
to
breathe,
and
it
was
a
real
eye-opener.
You
know
and
again
I
get
back
to
the
fact
that
recycling
today
is
a
lot
different
than
it
was
before
and
I
I
just
think.
A
Maybe
there's
got
to
be
a
different
solution
to
this,
because
when
you
watch
that
documentary
and
and
these
families,
the
things
that
they
got
to
do
you
know
that's
the
only
way
they
have
to
make
a
living.
And
you
know
there
is
just
trash
everywhere
in
these
places
and
really
kind
of
gives
you
a
different
perspective
and
you
know
and
I'm
torn
on
it,
and
the
mayor
from
Pinellas
Park
said
the
same
thing.
I
It's
not
that
I,
don't
know
if
it's
Switzerland
or
Sweden,
but
obviously
it's
a
pretty
progressive
European
country
that
they
actually
have
their
largest
bends,
that
they
provide
to
residents
is
a
compost
bin
and
then
the
middle
one
is
the
recycling
and
the
smallest
is
the
trash
and
think
they
charge
them
based
off
of
weights
of
trash.
So
when
you
start
hitting
your
residents
wallet
and
enforces
change,
that
is
obviously
better
for
the
environment,
so.
A
You
know,
and
you
know
my
neighbor
bloodsucker
like
she's,
got
everything
in
that
recycle
bin,
and
you
know
that
contaminates
the
thing,
but
is
it
that
bad
I'm
an
alternative?
It's
if
it's
generating
energy,
which
that's
gonna,
probably
go
away
too.
On
that
you
do
the
Duke
Energy,
that's
like
a
three
or
four
year
contract
that
Duke
Energy
is
paying
Pinellas,
County
I!
Think
like
40
million
dollars
to
generate
energy
well,
Duke
Energy
has
found
alternative
ways
to
generate
the
energy
a
hell
of
a
lot
cheaper
than
they're
paying.
A
M
A
Away
or
get
revisited,
that's
for
sure,
so
at
any
rate,
so
it's
definitely
something
that
that
really
needs
to
be
revisited
on
a
much
bigger
level
than
we
have.
And
again
this
gets
back
to
the
old
home
rule
in
the
conversation
I
had
with
representative
sprawls.
Is
it's
funny
how
cities
sometimes
one
home
rule,
but
then
other
times
they
would
like
the
state
to
be
step
in
and
help
regulate.
Some
of
these
things
that
you
know
and
I
say
this
a
lot
of
times
at
some
of
our
meetings.
A
Sometimes
it's
great
that
Pinellas
has
24
cities
in
it,
but
other
times,
I
think
there's
opportunities,
and
this
might
be
one
that
if
you
had
had
a
REIT,
you
know
a
countywide
trash
and
recycle
program
where
we're
not
duplicating
efforts
and
we
don't
have
cost
associated
with
24
different
cities
plus
the
county.
To
do
it
and
I
say
that,
because
they
had
a
what
was
that
thing
called
al
where
they,
it
was
a
master
plan
for
Pinellas
County
and
a
countywide
Murph
was
as
part
of
it,
but
it's
probably
down
the
road.
A
A
To
do
that
so
I
know
Clearwater
has
said
there
might
be
some
opportunity
and
something
that
they're
doing
over
by
right
now,
spectrum
field
that
they're
putting
something
over
there
and
they
may
have
some
additional
capacity
I,
don't
know
where
that's
gonna
go
if
it
goes,
but
anyway
it's
a
little
long-winded,
but
it
it
really
kind
of
when
you
watch
that
it
really
gives
you
a
different
perspective.
All.
A
Just
to
to
see
just
because
we
plugged
it
in
a
blue
bin,
and
it
makes
us
feel
good
that
you
know
we
recycle
a
lot-
the
downside
you
know
and
they're,
showing
these
massive
cargo
ships
with
all
these
containers
on
them.
I'm
thinking
that
damn
thing
is
just
full
of
trash.
I
bet,
you
know
where
we're
sending
them
these
third-world
countries
that
nobody
cares
about,
and
so
anyway,
it's
definitely
worth
the
watch.
Anything
else.
Al
you've
got
anything
any
closing
moments.
Mr.
Patrick,
sir,
and.
