From YouTube: City of Oldsmar Council Meeting, 11/19/2019
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
B
The
power
to
clearly
discern
right
from
wrong,
allow
our
words
and
actions
to
be
governed,
thereby
and
by
the
laws
of
this
land.
We
asked
for
inspiration
and
strive
in
our
endeavors
to
serve
the
public.
We
also
ask
you
to
direct
us
so
that,
above
all,
things
will
discharge
our
duties
for
the
benefit
of
the
people
that
we
serve
this
we
pray,
amen.
C
A
You,
sir,
you
may
be
seated
all
right.
The
next
item
on
the
agenda
is
the
citizen's
open
forum.
We
only
have
a
couple
rules,
one
you
have
five
minutes
to
speak.
We
ask
you
state
your
name
and
your
address,
including
the
city
that
you're
from,
and
we
ask
that
you
not
speak
to
any
item.
That's
a
public
hearing
you'll
be
given
the
opportunity
to
speak
at
that
time.
The
only
item-
that's
a
public
hearing
tonight-
is
item
number
nine,
with
that
I
will
start
on
this
side
of
the
room.
Sir.
A
D
D
So
we
can
talk
to
you
first,
if
you
believe
you
qualify
for
the
VFW,
we'll
be
more
than
happy
to
talk
to
you
about
that
and
the
families
of
the
veterans,
meaning
two
generations
up
or
down
parents,
grandparents,
children,
grandchildren
and
any
siblings.
They
should
show
up
as
well,
because
we
are
about
to
form
the
first
auxilary
of
which
Councilwoman
Norris
will
be
the
official
first
member.
There.
A
E
Right
at
City
Hall
on
Monday
November
25th
and
remain
there
until
Wednesday,
December
18th
children
can
write
letters
or
wish
lists
for
him
and
drop
them
off.
Don't
forget
to
leave
your
name
address,
so
Santa
can
write
back.
He
needs
that
information.
An
annual
tree
lighting
ceremony
is
December
3rd
from
6
to
7
right
out
there
in
front
of
City
Hall
will
be
lighting
our
City
Hall
tree
and
will
feature
local
students,
caroling
poetry,
and
it
says
more
so
there
must
be
more
to
us.
E
We're
having
a
call
for
entries
for
all
tomorrow,
photography,
juried
exhibition,
enter
them
to
be
part
of
our
first

The
words
are

lisa,
Schmiedt,

one,
three,
seven,
four,
nine
one,
one,
four,
five,
seven,
four,
nine
one,
one
four.
E
A
You
thank
you.
The
next
item
on
the
agenda
is
approval
of
addition
of
new
agenda
items,
the
new
items.
We
have
item
three
and
item
five
here
to
pull
something
non
I'll
entertain
a
motion
to
approve
both
items.
Do
I
have
a
second
any
discussion,
seeing
none
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye.
All
opposed
motion
passes.
Next
item
is
awards
and
recognition
item
number
one
presentation
of
the
council-manager
Award
for
November
2019
and
taking
the
center
stage
our
city
manager.
Mr.
outbreak
wait,
give
them
applause.
F
Good
evening,
okay,
council
manager
award,
do
we
have
that
video?
Do
we
know?
That's
that's
the
Brunson
checking
guys
I'm
sorry.
So,
each
month
we
rotate,
who
gets
to
give
the
award
between
the
council
and
I
this
month
was
my
turn
and
I'd
like
to
give
the
council
manager
award
to
the
facilities
Division.
So
this
would
be
a
good
time
to
clap.
F
That
kind
of
just
really
caught
my
attention.
So
let
me
read
this
and
I
think
it'll
crystallize
it
for
you
all.
So
there's
a
group
of
men
who
accomplished
numerous
tasks
throughout
the
city
oftentimes
operating
behind
the
scenes
over
the
past
several
months,
they've
been
reconstructing
repairing
building,
cleaning
hanging
and
moving
items
in
just
about
every
city.
Building.
These
men
make
up
the
facility's
division
of
the
Leisure
Services
department
and
they
are
Stephan
Coppola
Kerry,
Thomas,
Don,
Jenkins,
John,
Tru,
big
Derek,
Kenickie
and
Carl
swagger.
F
That
can
be
classified
as
the
unsung
heroes
of
the
city
flying
just
under
the
radar
showing
up
in
offices
and
at
project
locations,
always
at
the
wrong
time
to
accomplish
their
missions
and
tasks
and
then
depart
leaving
the
jobsite
in
better
condition
than
it
was
prior
to
them,
working
on
it
during
the
late
spring
and
throughout
the
summer
of
2019.
This
skilled
and
dedicated
group
of
employees
completed
numerous
major
tasks.
The
results
were
not
only
quality
work,
but
a
significant
cost
savings
to
the
city
by
not
having
to
contract
these
things
out.
F
Some
of
their
accomplishments
were
as
follows:
installed
overhead
lighting
at
the
environmental
education
center
rebuilt
the
bridge
at
the
entrance
to
Bicentennial
Park
at
national
Orange
Avenue
out-of-doors
rebuilt
the
bridge
off
the
trail
at
the
Environmental
Education
Center
out
of
doors
remodeled,
the
men's
and
women's
restrooms.
As
a
municipal
service
center
you
ever
get
a
chance
to
go
in
there.
I
will
guarantee
you.
We
are
the
only
municipality
that
has
backsplash
in
the
locker
rooms.
F
Thanks
to
these
two
very,
very
talented,
all
right.
They
also
built
the
shed
for
the
hockey
rink
to
store
equipment.
Thank
you
guys.
That
means
a
lot
to
me.
They
removed
the
tiles
on
the
town
center
found.
They
read
totally
redid
the
fountain.
If
you've
seen
the
fountain
over
the
intersection
of
st.
Pete
State
Street,
they
did
that
great
job
on
that
took
a
little
long
time.
A
lot
of
work
installed
the
brick
patio
pavers
at
Veterans
Park,
on
which
the
Purple
Heart
monument
now
sits.
F
He
installed
the
Installer
raved
about
the
quality
of
the
work
because
he
did
not
have
to
use
any
shims
to
balance
the
monument
installed
underground
lights
to
illuminate
the
fallen
soldier
monument
at
the
entrance
to
veteran's
park.
Several
vendors
said
they
could
not
do
it
because
of
the
location
of
the
monument
installed
netting
at
the
north
and
south
end
of
the
rink.
Thank
you
guys.
F
They
ran
cables
to
officers
in
City
Hall
from
the
IT
room
installed,
latches
for
security
in
all
city
hall
offices
and
other
buildings
provided
expert,
HVAC
inspections
and
repair
work
for
the
AC
units
at
MSC,
the
fire
station
council
chambers
and
administrative
services
following
installation
by
a
vendor.
They
repaired
to
welcome
to
oldsmar
signs
in
the
medians
in
Tampa,
Road,
curlew
Road
and
such
State
Road
580
repaired
park
entrance
signs
at
the
following
locations:
Richard
Rogers,
Park,
Bicentennial,
Park
and
Veterans
Park.
F
In
addition
to
the
above
accomplishments,
the
team
responded
to
over
400
work
orders
that
they
got
between
May
and
September.
The
fact
that
they
were
able
to
manage
the
volume
of
work
orders
that
they
do
and
still
compete
the
above
projects
in
a
reasonable
time
frame,
makes
their
efforts
award
worthy.
F
It
goes
without
saying
that
these
men
are
the
true
epitome
of
what
it
means
to
be
an
employee,
the
city
of
olds
bar
no
matter
what
is
asked
of
them.
They
do
their
best
to
accomplish
the
task
in
a
quality
fashion.
The
leisure
service
department
in
the
city
are
both
quite
fortunate
to
have
such
a
group
of
dedicated
men.
Thanks
guys
appreciate
it.
F
G
F
Takers
takers,
one
other
thing
in
the
division
sense:
their
supervisors
are
chip
and
Alexis
and
I
can
tell
you
that
two
years
ago
we
had
a
meeting
about
how
to
kind
of
get
the
workload
balanced
and
how
to
organize
it.
So
I'd
also
like
to
thank
Alexis
and
chip
for
helping
us
get
to
this
point,
because
these
guys
are
all-stars
down.
A
Congratulations
gentleman
well-deserved
it's
hard
to
imagine
that
that
that
size
team
takes
care
of
so
much
in
this
city
and
then,
on
top
of
on
top
of
that
they
take
on
all
these
special
jobs
to
keep
us
looking
like
a
ten,
so
good
work,
good
work!
All
right!
Next
item
on
the
agenda
item
number
two
presentation
of
employee
service
award
for
November
2019.
Once
again,
our
city
manager
out
Braithwaite,
okay,.
F
H
F
Okay,
anyway,
alright
get
to
the
important
stuff.
This
is
a
15
year
service
award.
Anybody
guess
how
much
this
is
it's
a
it's
pretty
good.
So
we
give
that
right
where
it
goes.
Yeah,
oh
I.
Suppose
we
get
that
15
years.
2004!
Alright!
So
Kenny
as
I
mentioned,
is
a
firefighter
paramedic.
He
was
hired
in
November
of
o4
as
a
firefighter
EMT.
F
He
was
promoted
in
February
of
oh
nine
and
he
maintains
a
boatload
of
responsibilities
for
the
department
among
them
most
prominently
and
recently
he's
now
the
department
representative
for
the
firefighter
pension
board
and
he's
ru
district
VP
and
he's
the
district
vp
for
the
for
the
Union
for
the
IFF
local
2980.
So
that's
a
great
sign
of
trust
that
his
fellow
employees
having
him
ask
him
to
represent
them
at
the
table.
F
Some
other
information
for
kenny
service
award
here
are
some
of
the
things
that
you've
told
you
that
our
fire
guys
do
in
addition
to
their
normal
duties,
and
the
list
is
pretty
long.
He
maintains
service
and
repair
departments
for
the
scuba
air
packs,
I,
think
they're
actually
called
SCBA
air
packs,
but
I
know
them
as
the
face
masks,
as
well
as
the
compressor
in
the
fill
station
used
for
filling
the
bottles.
That
saves
us
a
boatload
of
money
that
we
don't
have
to
have
that
contradict
to
that.
F
We
have
several
guys
that
can
do
it
and
he
does
it
quite
often,
and
quite
well,
currently
also
installing
upgrades
that
will
allow
air
packs
to
connect
to
portable
radios
via
bluetooth,
new
technology
that
will
enhance
fire
ground
communications
he's
also
designated
as
the
department's
Oldsmar
501
I.
Don't
know
what
that
means.
What
is
it,
what
is
501?
Oh
you're,
the
backup
all
right
so
he's
the
backup
to
the
EMS
coordinator.
F
Among
other
things,
he
also
assists
with
the
special
needs
notification
during
beginning
stages
of
EOC
operations
associated
with
storm
events
also
serves
as
part
of
the
medical
unit
in
the
Emergency
Operations
Center,
one
of
the
department's
three
continuing
medical
education
instructors
that
provides
continuing
education
and
multiple
certification
renewal
instruction
through
Pinellas
County
EMS.
He
also
trains,
newly
hired
EMT
and
paramedics
across
the
Pinellas
County
EMS
system,
he's
the
st.
Pete
College
preceptor,
providing
hands-on
training
and
guidance
for
EMT
and
paramedic
students
as
they
ride,
along
with
all
of
our
fire.
F
Crews
he's
also
served
on
departmental
community
excuse-me
committees
such
as
the
SOP
equipment
and
safety
committee.
He
was
also
a
member
of
the
committee
that
Specht
out
our
new
rescue
unit
and
he's
also
our
most
senior
department
acting
lieutenant.
Ladies
and
gentlemen,
congratulations
Kenny,
congratulations
for
15
years,
daddy's,
pretty
cool
and,
let's
hope
we
see
another
15.
A
E
A
You
does
anybody
wish
to
pull
anything
signa,
and
the
chair
will
entertain.
A
motion
to
approve.
Do
I
have
a
second
second,
any
discussion,
seeing
none
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye
all
opposed
motion
passes
next
section
is
the
city
of
Oldsmar
item
number
five,
and
not
unless
that
council
would
like
me
to
I'm
not
going
to
call
each
one
of
them
up,
because
we
normally
do
that
when
we
first
appointed
them
and
they.
A
H
A
I
A
Discussion,
thank
you
for
stepping
up,
sir.
We
appreciate
it.
Yeah
Sencha
you're,
ready
to
vote
all
in
favor
signify
by
saying
aye
aye
all
opposed
motion
passes
item
6
approve,
moving
Andrew
down
from
alternate
member
of
to
full
member
of
the
code
enforcement
board.
Do
I
have
a
motion
so
moved
to
approve
have
a
second
discussion.
A
J
J
Like
to
just
say
something:
I,
don't
I'm,
not
gonna,
go
over
all
the
reasons
that
I
opposed
in
the
past
I
just
want
to
address
that
a
couple
of
people
that
assumed
and
accused
me
of
that
being
a
personal
decision,
as
opposed
to
a
decision
based
on
public
record,
in
fact,
and
I
would
just
like
to
State
for
the
record
that
if
it
were
any
other
board
that
Matt
applied
to
I
would
have
voted
yes,
so
I
just
wanted
to
put
it
out
there.
It
had
nothing
to
do
with
anything
personal.
A
C
A
A
E
So
for
people
who
have
millions
of
people
watching
us
right,
the
Janus
dollar
Sisson
scatter,
he
started
over
ten
years
ago
and
Janis
Miller
wanted
citizens
to
understand
more
about
where
their
money
was
being
sent
spent
and
what
we're
doing,
and
the
purpose
of
the
C
government
and
I'm,
hoping
that
everybody
learned
that
in
a
class
this
year
we
offer
the
class
once
a
year.
It's
free,
hey,
you
get
a
shirt
and
some
dinner
and
a
whole
lot
of
knowledge
and
a
whole
lot
of
fun
and
run
up
to
eleven
nights
now
of
good
stuff.
E
A
A
Was
the
best
who
who
was
the
best?
Shall
we
shall
we
take
a
show
of
hands?
No
we're
not
doing
that
I'm,
not
doing
that,
because
we
all
know
the
best
part
about
it
was
when
the
councilmembers
came
and
spoke
in
there.
Thank
you
all
right,
but
certainly
I'd
be
remiss
if
I
didn't
say
special
thanks
to
the
clerk's
office,
the
amount
of
work
that
Cathy
and
hand
and
and
everybody
puts
into
the
program
I'm
convinced
this
program
would
not
be
nearly
the
success.
A
E
E
K
Janice's
told
me
was
asking
me
for
so
many
times
about
going
into
the
Academy
Jerry
everybody
else.
I
always
had
something
else
to
do,
but
then,
in
my
head,
I'm
lived
in
OHS
mall
for
23
years,
been
on
a
board
for
the
last
18
years.
I
knew
everything
about
Oh
small,
that
I
know.
I
went
through
this
Academy
anyone
that
thinks
they
know
about
Ozma.
You
need
to
go
through
this
Academy
and
you
will
really
know
about
Ozma
I.
C
A
No,
no,
we
won't
hey.
I,
have
a
they'll.
C
A
Go
we
have
a
selected
one,
so
I
have
a
question
for
you,
and
this
is
to
the
graduates
you
are
now.
Our
ambassadors
right
you've
invested
the
time.
That
means
something
to
a
city
for
us
to
have
this.
Many
people
come
out
to
make
that
big
of
a
commitment
says
a
lot,
especially
for
a
city,
our
size
I
think
it
would
say
a
lot
for
any
city,
but
take
a
city
our
size
in
particular,
so
by
a
show
of
hands.
A
So
we
call
that
board
members
and
I'm,
not
joking,
and
we
call
that
council
members
right
and
so,
when
you
look
behind
me,
almost
everyone
up
here
has
been
through
this
program.
If
you
look
at
the
candidates
who
are
running
right
now,
they've
been
through
this
program,
I'm,
not
saying
you
have
to
do
that,
but
most
of
our
board
members
now
are
slowly
starting
to
appreciate
Frank's
been

to
appropriating

the

a

that
was

The

separately
implemented
a
number
of
initiatives
to
reduce
the
potential
for
future
sanitary

The

force
is
working
with
the
Tampa
Bay

to
develop
a

The

goal

to

to
change
behaviors
that
contribute
to
SSOs
such
as
disposal
of
fats,
oils

F
Other
ways
in
which
the
public
can
reduce
SSOs
is
to
eliminate
illicit
connections
to
sanitary,
sewers
and
repair
or
replace,
failing
privately-owned

The
Oldsmar
contribution
to
matching
funds
is
two
thousand
one

seven
dollars
and
staff
recommends
approval.
I
Quick
thing
I,
my
questions
were
answered
in
my
discussions
with
the
city
manager,
but
I
was
concerned
that
we
were
essentially
told
what
our
contribution
was
going
to
be
on
a
project.
We
didn't
necessarily
ask
to
be
a
part
of
it
on
which
we
have
no
input,
but
seeing
that
our
contribution
is
only
$2,000.
I
A
J
Other
discussion,
I
I,
had
some
questions
too,
because
I
I'm,
all
for
anything,
that's
gonna,
help
the
environment
and
we
us
being
on
the
bay,
was
the
main
thing
and
also
I'll,
explain
to
me
that
a
lot
of
it
is
being
targeted
at
commercial,
because
I
was
wondering
I'm
like
well.
People
don't
know
this.
You
know
people
are
doing
this
and,
and
he
said
that
they're
gonna
really
target
commercial
businesses
which,
if
you
think
about
it,
they're
putting
a
whole
lot
more
into
the
wastewater
than
residential
on.

I
I
J
Congratulations:
y'all.
It
was
wonderful
going
on
Thursday
and
seeing
you
and
all
the
501,
3
C's
and
say
thank
you
for
inviting
the
alum
that
was
wonderful
and
the
town
I
went
to
the
talent
show
and
the
talent
show
was
just
it
was
so
much
fun
and
the
level
of
talent
you
guys
really.
If
you
didn't
go
this
year,
think
about
going
next
year,
because
some
of
those
people
could
be
on
those
America's
got
the
talent
show
so
I
mean
that's
how
good
they
were.
They
had
a
three
year
old
comedian
that
was
hilarious.
M
J
She
was
just
so
cute,
you
know
so
Leonard
Newby
I
hear
has
headed
that
up
for
years
and
he
was
the
emcee
and
he
was
really
funny.
I
just
want
to
touch
just
briefly
on
the
Veterans
Day
ceremony,
because
a
lot
of
people
approached
me
thinking
that
it
was
safe
to
talk
to
me
because
of
the
political
nature
of
the
speaker.
J
It
was
the
the
veterans
advisory
board
always
does
such
a
great
job
with
that
with
the
ceremony
and
I'm,
not
placing
blame
on
the
city
or
the
veterans,
Advisory
Board
I.
Don't
think
that
there
was
any
way
to
have
foreseen
the
partisan
rhetoric
that
was
said
by
that
by
the
colonel.
But
that
being
said,
some
of
the
things
that
he
said
he
excluded.
J
He
excluded
a
lot
of
veterans
of
the
party
that
didn't
believe
in
him
or
didn't
believe
what
he
was
saying.
He
even
said,
if
you
don't
believe,
if
you
don't
maybe
stepped
on
any
toes,
then
you
don't
belong
here.
My
heart
was
just
pounding
so
hard
because
I
had
to
speak
directly
after
him
and
at
first
it
was
like
he
was
having
everybody
stand
up
from
the
Korean
War
or
they
could
and
all
the
different
Wars
and
he
left
out
the
Cold
War.
J
The
positive
in
situations
and
the
positive
that
came
out
for
me
was
was
I
was
able
to
have
one-on-one
discussions
with
people
that
I
might
not
have
the
same
national
political
thoughts,
but
we
were
able
to
sit
down
Frank
and
I.
Sat
down,
I
mean
that
we
were
able
to
sit
down
and
actually
have
civil
discussion
about
what
happened
so
I'm,
looking
at
it
like
that
and
I'm
urging
everyone
to
Thanksgiving
is
coming
up
and
I
urge
every
you
know
you
have
to
worry
about
the
people
that
are
gonna
be
fighting
about.
J
Whatever
you
know,
turn
off
MSNBC
turn
off
Fox
turn
off
Facebook
sit
down
and
talk
to
your
loved
ones.
Don't
talk
to
him
about
what
you
disagree
with
talk
to
him
about
what
you
agree
on.
Let's
build
bridge
does
build
bridges,
not
walls,
let's
build
bridges
and,
and
our
country
can
heal,
we
don't
have
to
be
in
these
camps,
and
so
yeah
I
was
I
was
definitely
having
to
do.
J
Breathing
exercises
know
if
y'all
knew
that,
but
I
was
doing
breathing
exercises
because
I
my
honor
was
to
name
the
names
that
were
gonna,
go
on
the
wall
and
I
didn't
want
to
mess
any
of
them
up,
and
so
I
you
know,
was
able
to
calm
myself
down
and
and
I
didn't
want
to
disrespect
our
speaker
for
his
service
either.
I
didn't
want
to
do
that
because
he
served
our
country
and
so
everyone
out
there
that
might
have
been
offended
or
that
was
offended
it.
That
is
not
what
all
tomorrow
is
about.
J
That
is
not
what
any
ceremony
any
speaker
we've
ever
had
and
and,
like
I
said
I'm,
not
placing
blame
on
anybody.
It
happened
and
the
way
that
the
mayor
dealt
with
it.
The
way
that
I
spoke
with
people,
I'm
sure
that
other
council
members
probably
had
discussions.
I
think
we
did
the
best
that
we
could
and
going
forward
making
sure
that
politics
is
not
part
of
our
veterans
ceremonies.
It
is
to
honor
y'all.
It
is
to
honor
the
veterans
period.
That's
it
Happy
Thanksgiving
Wow,.
J
This
is
actually
kind
of
funny.
Okay,
considerable
restraint
and
Linda
Norris
has
never
been
in
the
same
sentence
in
all
the
years.
I've
been
on
the
planet
and
I
want
to
thank
the
person
from
the
other
party
that
came
to
me
and
said
that
I
had
considerable
restraint,
memoride
considerable
restraint.
M
Right,
Thank
You
mayor
announcement.
Couple
things:
congratulations,
so
this
is
Academy
I.
Remember
when
I
went
you
guys
got
more
weeks
than
I
did
when
I
went.
There
was
not
really
much
I
mean
it
was
great,
but
you
guys
got
to
do
a
lot
more
than
I
got
to
do
so.
Congratulations
I,
also
attended.
The
talent
show
that
was.
That
was
a
trip
I,
as
Linda
said,
you
want
to
go
next
year.
I
also
attended
this
Sunday,
the
100-year
anniversary
of
the
community
knighted
Methodist
Church.
Here
in
old
Tamar.
M
It
was
a
great
ceremony
and
I
want
to
just
do
a
shout
out.
I
think
this
is
really
important.
Jerry
and
tozi
did
a
history
of
the
church
100
years
she
went
back
and
found
photographs.
I
have
no
idea
where,
but
they
she
found
these
photographs
all
the
pastor's.
For
the
last
100
years.
She
found
pictures
of
every
single
wedding
that
happened
in
that
church.
M
She
did
an
amazing
job.
She
she
worked
with
my
wife
Paul.
They
put
him
into
posters
the
after
the
ceremony.
They
had
a
gathering
of
food
and
it
was
just
an
amazing
the
pictures
they
actually
had
a
wall
of
pictures
with
a
hundred
spelling,
a
hundred
of
the
words
one
zero
zero
of
all
these
pictures
of
all
these
people
over
the
years
last
hundred
years
at
the
church
and
I
just
wanted
to
bring
that
it
was
a
really
special
day
for
the
city
of
Oldsmar.
It
was
a
great
community
event
and
there.
D
M
This
the
church
was,
it
was
completely
packed.
There
was
no
place
to
go
no
place
to
park.
It
was
just
a
great
event
for
the
city
of
olds.
Mark
I
wanted
to
bring
up
the
FSL,
the
Florida
League
of
Cities
conference
I
was
there
on
Wednesday
Thursday
and
Friday
and
I
want
to
tell
you
this
conference
for
the
four
Liga
city's
legislative
conference
to
the
council
members.
It
gets
better
in
the
mayor.
It
gets
better
every
year
and
I
was
telling
Kath
when
I
got
here.
C
M
They
had
a
seminar
on
modern
media
relations
and
the
science
of
storytelling
and
basically,
what
this
present
presenter
did
was.
It
was
about
how
to
handle
the
media
in
today's
world
and
it
was
just
outstanding.
The
floor.
Lega
cities
does
incredible
work
on
the
presentations
to
council
members,
elected
officials,
City
Clerk's.
It
was
just
a
great
a
great
presentation.
They
also
did
one
on
preparing
for
the
2020
census,
I
thought
that
was
really
really
really
interesting,
and
then
they
also
had
one
that
they
showed
video
clips
of
public
comments
at
meetings.
M
Video
clips
of
real
live
Council
meetings
and
how
the
council
handled
it,
which
was
wrong,
and
then
they
showed
how
they
should
have
handled
it.
It
was
great
a
great
educational
experience.
I
wanted
to
bring
down
up
I
just
want
to
mention
one
thing
about
the
Veterans
Day
Katie
you
did.
You
did
a
fantastic
job
mayor.
Your
speech
was
was
outstanding.
Linda,
you
did
great
announcing
the
names.
M
I
thought
it
was
a
great
event
and
I
just
wanted
to
bring
bring
that
up
and
then
the
last
two
last
things
hockey
team,
the
bold
smaller
the
hockey
rink
al
and
I
play
Wednesday
nights
in
Tampa
on
the
hockey.
Rink
is
a
smaller
rink,
but
we've
been
playing
here
and
Oldsmar
for
two
weeks
now
at
the
new
rink
and
it's
a
much
bigger
rink,
it's
fantastic.
It
is
really
I
can't
believe
all
the
people
that
are
coming
out
last
night,
we
had
a
lot
of
spectators,
show
up
family
kids.
M
A
C
I
A
I
J
I
Nan
and
Jonna,
and
and
Ben
and
Bill,
and
everybody
that
always
shows
up,
showed
up
yet
again
spent
the
entire
afternoon.
There
we
found
out
at
what
two
o'clock
I
think
it
was.
The
repair
was
completed.
A
temporary
repair
was
completed
by
6:15.
There's
gonna
be
more
intense
repair
with
heavy
equipment
and
everything
like
that.
But
you
know
they
just
do
such
an
incredible
job.
They
respond
so
quickly
and
save
us
time
and
money
and
face
and
I'm
just
so
proud,
I'm.
Just
so
proud.
I
I
wanted
to
make
sure
to
let
nano
and
John
oh
she's
here
but
she's,
not
to
please
thank
them
and
congratulations
to
our
citizens.
Academy
I'm,
so
excited
to
see.
Y'all
I
just
saw
y'all
on
Thursday
night.
So
you
see
me
yeah,
pagana,
astok
group
and
a
great
idea
to
add
the
Alumni
back
in
there
and
I've
noticed
there
wasn't
any
formal
announcement,
but
I
know
you.
Two
have
secretly
been
adding
citizens
Academy
alumni
emails,
notifying
folks
about
the
community
minute,
but
you
think
is
really
important
and
other
volunteer
opportunities.
I
I
Our
city
clerk
had
sent
out
an
email
that
kind
of
encapsulated
my
general
feelings
about
it.
I
was
not
offended
by
the
speaker's
comments.
I
I
was
uncomfortable
at
certain
times
because,
as
a
city
official,
you
know
you're
sitting
up
at
the
front
in
everybody
staring
at
you,
it's
very
awkward,
and
you
know
they
say
something,
and
then
everybody
claps.
So
then
you
got
a
clap
in
here
like
well.
Am
I
clapping
because
I
believe
what
this
person
say
here?
We
all
do:
okay,
we're
all
just
clapping.
You
know
we
do
it
here.
I
Sometimes
we
just
keep
clapping
and
and
I
felt
I
felt
I
felt
a
little
bit.
Uncomfortable
I
did
and
I
brought
it
up
to
our
assistant
city
manager
shortly
thereafter
and
I'm.
Looking
forward
to
the
mayor's
comments,
I
know
it's
a
very
difficult
task,
trying
to
find
speakers
for
those
events
and
I'm
sure
the
veterans
Advisory
Board
does
the
best
they
can
to
kind
of
vet
and
encourage
the
speaker
to
stay
on
the
particular
topic,
but
I
I
would
be
remiss
if
I
didn't
mention
my
feelings
on
it.
L
L
They
were
wonderful
to
spend
a
few
hours
telling
me
how
the
algae
and
bacteria
and
all
of
the
biologics
and
everything
that
go
into
the
process-
and
it
was
just
wonderful
and
I-
appreciate
you
taking
time
out
of
your
busy
day
and
everyone
in
ultimart
should
be
very
proud
of
what
they
do
and
how
they
do
it,
because
not
only
do
they
give
us
wonderful
water,
they
protect
our
environment
in
the
process,
so
it
was
very,
very
enlightening
and
I
enjoyed
it.
Thank
you
new
and
Happy
Thanksgiving
and
congratulations
to
all
of
you
very.
A
Good,
thank
you.
I
do
have
a
few
comments.
One
I'm
sorry
I
missed
the
talent
show.
I
was
flying
back
from
a
business
meeting
out
west
and
I
couldn't
get
back
in
time,
but
I
heard
it
was
going
to
be
good
and
so
I
missed
it
I'll
be
there
next
year,
and
you
know
I
understand
that
that
next
year
they
expect
some
of
the
councilmembers.
J
J
A
We
should
just
skip
that:
okay
concept.
Congratulations
to
all
the
graduates!
It's
a
lot
of
hard
work.
We
appreciate
it
you're
part
of
what
makes
the
city
shine.
So
we
we
say
thank
you,
and,
and
now
we
have
great
expectations.
You
continue
that
on
so
and
I'm
certain
that
you
will
I
only
have
a
couple
comments
regarding
the
Veterans
Day.
You
know
I
thought
Veterans
Day
was
great,
I
really
loved.
The
emcee
I
think
that
flowed
really
well
mm-hmm.
That
keeps
everybody
on
track.
A
The
speaker,
you
know,
I,
think
anybody
who
has
served
that
long
in
the
military
who
retires
that
Colonel
probably
feels
they're,
just
gonna
give
their
opinion
unfiltered
right
and
and
while
in
some
venues
that's
probably
perfectly
fine
and
content
is
probably
not
an
issue
in
some
venues.
What
I
think
is
important
to
remember
in
the
city
of
Baltimore.
You
know
we
have
a
diverse
background.
A
You
know
as
a
city
and
I
did
the
day
after
the
Veterans
Day
event.
I
did
call
the
Chairman
called
John,
Rutgers
and
said:
hey,
listen,
I
would
appreciate
if
you
would
share
with
the
advisory
board,
who
we
give
the
authority
to
put
that
together
and
to
select
the
speakers
and
we've
always.
We've
always
had
excellent
speakers
where
there's
never
been
any
kind
of.
A
You
know
odd
issue
or
something
work
someone's
been
offended,
but
ask
them
when,
when
selecting
a
speaker,
make
sure
that
speaker
knows
that
the
purpose
of
that
event,
and
what
is
expected
is
that
the
message
is
all
about
the
veterans.
The
people
who've
served
the
amazing
accomplishments,
the
sacrifices
they've
made
and
how
grateful
we
are
for
that,
and
that
doesn't
mean
they
they're
not
able
to.
You
know,
share
their
way
of
doing
that.
That's
why
we
get
different
speakers
because
they
have
a
different
perspective
on
it,
but
not
not
on
policy.
A
A
I
know
that
we've
had
some
pretty
dynamic
ones
in
the
past,
so
but
I
didn't
want
to
make
a
point
of
thanking
everybody
who
worked
on
that.
It
was
an
amazing
turnout.
It
was
a
beautiful
day
and
our
staff
ik
it
comes
out
there
and
just
puts
the
polish
on
it
and
with
everybody
else,
and
the
team
did
well
up
there.
I
thought
so
I
thought
it
was
a
great
of
that.
You
know.
A
Certainly
that's
something
that
has
to
you
know,
be
understood
in
the
future
and
so
I
expected
that
will
not
hear
about
that
again.
Special.
Thank
you
to
the
public
works
team.
Once
again,
everybody
talked
about
it.
You
know
we're
all
out,
I
almost
felt
guilty.
You
know
unless
you
were
actually
at
the
Bucs
game
with
us
felt
so
bad.
It
was
a
train
wreck
out
there
but
yeah.
We
appreciate
all
the
extra
effort
and
the
way,
the
professionalism
that
you
know.
It's
kind
of
drop.
A
What
you're
doing
and
everyone
goes
I
appreciate
that
kind
of
leadership
for
you
all
to
be
out
there
and
the
team
who
shows
up
and
the
ingenuity
that
they
use
to
fix
something
that
we're
not
really
equipped
to
fix.
Quite
frankly,
even
on
a
temporary
basis,
I
mean
that's
just
not
it's
such
an
unusual
thing,
and
yet
the
citizens
out
there
benefited
from
that
kind
of
expertise
and,
and
we're
very,
very,
very
lucky
to
have
them
get
my
notes.
A
One
other
comment
that
I
want
to
make
and
then
I'm
gonna
wrap
it
up.
Call
the
meeting,
don't
add
you
know,
I
have
to
tell
you
I
left
our
last
meeting
and
I
thought
about
the
performance
of
this
team
up
here
really
because
that
was
a
huge
task
to
go
through
and
it
was
not
a
a
simple
task
to
get
through
and
I
really
appreciate
the
way
that
this
team,
their
professionalism
and
their
patience,
I
think
that's
important.
A
I
think
it's
important
that
people
who
want
to
help
build
downtown
and
we've
had
some
good
folks
that
want
to
do
that
feel
like
that
they're,
given
a
thorough
opportunity,
equal
handed.
No
one's
time
was
rushed
and,
and
everybody
did
a
really
good
job
and
the
patience
that
everyone
showed
and-
and
so
I
just
want
to
make
a
point
of
saying
this
chair,
how
appreciative
I
am
of
that
effort
and
we're
gonna
have
more
difficult
choices
like
that,
and
that's
just
what
make
this
all
happen
right.
So,
anyhow,
great
great
work
take
about
happy
Thanksgiving.
