When
I
went
to
get
eileen's
photo
id
down
at
the
base
and
sophie
it's
all
now
on
a
kiosk
okay,
you're
sitting
at
a
chair,
oh
really,
and
it's
really
kind
of
cute,
because
they'll
give
you
like.
Okay,
take
your
picture
and
they
said
you
like
it
and
then
you
actually
get
like
four
four
or
five
chances.
E
C
C
And
the
next
order
business
is
open
forum.
Each
speaker
will
be
recognized
once
and
be
limited
to
five
minute
presentation
on
any
subject.
If
then-
or
any
speaker
has
not
been
heard
at
the
conclusion
of
the
30-minute
open
forum,
the
chair
may
announce
a
continuation
or
give
an
opportunity
to
speak
at
the
end
of
the
meeting.
D
D
Just
waving
a
flag
and
carving
your
name
in
a
stone
doesn't
make
you
a
veteran
friendly
city,
especially
when
you
turn
a
blind
eye
in
a
deaf
ear
on
the
united
states,
air
force
and
the
veterans
administration,
when
they
both
request,
the
city
of
oldsmar
to
help
a
disabled,
veteran
and
the
city
of
oldsmar
turns
away
and
ignores
them.
Both
the
city
of
oldsmar
does
nothing
that
helps
a
veteran
in
their
day-to-day
life
while
living
in
oldsmar.
D
C
B
C
C
C
To
make
sure
that
we
could
would
provide
input
and
guidance
for
all
issues
related
to
veterans
and
veterans
affairs
within
the
city,
and
that
would
so
the
recommendation
last
month
was
in
the
past.
The
board
has
discussed
its
founding
resolution
would
like
to
recommend
to
the
city.
Council
will
add
the
following
purpose:
advice,
city,
council
on
all
matters
pertaining
to
veterans
in
the
city
of
oldsmar.
C
I
don't
remember
who
brought
this
up
at
the
last
meeting.
I
didn't
you
did
okay,
yeah.
D
I
I
guess
when
I,
when
I
read
this
one
and
send
it
out,
I
guess
I
got
a
little
confused
from
the
aspect.
There's
a
charter
which
is
the
base
document,
as
I
understood
it,
okay
and
then
there's
this
resolution
number
now
was
this
resolution
number
ever
acted
upon
to
change
the
charter.
How
does
that
work
kathy.
B
The
charter
can
only
be
changed
by
referendum,
there's
nothing
related
to
boards
in
the
charter
per
se.
B
There's
no,
it's
not
in
the
city
charter,
but
the
resolution
is
an
operating
resolution
that
is
in
effect,
so
this
is
this.
Is
your
your
guiding
document.
D
E
D
The
website
design
the
website
just
says,
make
recommendations
to
get
inscribed
on
the
on
a
wall
over
there.
That's
what
the
website
says.
D
B
D
F
D
C
Yeah,
it's
it's
just
so
I
the
purpose
on
the
website.
I
just
pulled
it
up.
The
way
that
it
specifically
reads
is
the
veterans
advisory
board
makes
recommendations
to
the
city
council
on
the
criteria
for
name
placement
on
the
veterans,
memorial
wall
on
any
special
exception
requests
or
any
issues
related
to
veterans
memorial
park.
The
board
is
charged
in
coordination
of
our
annual
memorial
day
ceremonies
and
veterans
day
ceremonies.
C
They
were
instrumental
in
having
the
city
of
oldsmar
named
an
official
purple
heart
city,
so
yeah.
So
I
think
you
know
we
could
definitely
expound
upon
that
purpose
on
the
website
by
you
know,
adding
in
basically
what's
in
section
five
and
which
would
be
and,
and
you
know,
providing
input
and
guidance
for
all
issues
related
to
veterans
affairs
within
the
city
yeah.
That's
all
that
it's
basically
missing
from
that
yeah.
E
So
do
we
make
a
recommendation
to
the
city
or
st
well,
this.
C
C
B
C
C
C
Still
have
another
meeting
before
that
yeah
we
have
another
meeting
in
september
prior
to
so
we
used
to
have
a
list
of
of
who
did
which
one
in
which
order
do
you?
Do
you
still
have
that
or.
C
C
Okay
is:
is
there
anyone
that
wants
to
volunteer
to
just
be
the
liaison,
basically
between
chris
potts
and
us
to
we're?
We
don't
get
an
external
speaker
anymore,
so
that
we
can
kind
of
avoid
that
issues
that
we've
had
in
the
past.
So
it's
really
just
coordinating.
You
know
who's.
E
B
C
Where
we're
getting
the
the
who's
going
to
do
the
color
guard
things
like
that,
and
you
know
our
our
great
you
know.
People
at
the
city
have
been
doing
most
of
a
lot
of
that
coordination
for
us
anyway,
and
we're
just
kind
of
kind
of
signing
off
on
it.
If
you
will.
F
D
We
can
include
our
adjuncts
in
that
right,
children,
some
responsibility.
Why
not.
C
A
Yeah,
I'm
in
the
vfw
there's
lots
of
people
in
there
who
would
take
that
experience
in
previous
ones
and
yeah
and
be
able
to
come
up
with
all
kinds
of
things.
C
D
C
Next
item
is
to
approve
the
excused
absence
of
dane
piggett
from
the
from
today's
meeting.
He
did
send
an
email
to
ann
prior
to
the
meeting
that
he
was
not
going
to
be
able
to
make
it,
so
he
did
request
the
absence
ahead
of
time.
B
D
One
of
the
things
that
when
you
go
into
a
military
hospital
on
base
and
stuff
is
they
have
an
ombudsman
there,
there's
issues
with
the
staff
and
getting
stuff
done,
etc,
etc.
You
go
to
that
ombudsman
and
they
work
the
issue
for
you.
F
A
That's
it
yeah.
No
I'd
have
to
say
it's
a
good
idea,
because
I
back
with
the
beginning
of
coven,
I
wanted
to
get
a
the
coverage
shot.
So
I
went
down
to
a
bay
pines
and
I
brought
everything
you
could
ever
want
as
far
as
background
and
all
that
gave
it
to
him
and
but
we'll
print
it
out
for
him,
and
I
said:
yeah
okay
go
right
over
there,
you
get
your
shot
and
all
that
going
in
there
in
the
10
minute
recuperation
area,
and
then
they
come
over.
A
Oh
here,
you've
got
to
go
into
the
office
and
all
this
kind
of
stuff
and
over
there
was
like
a
two
hour.
Wait
before
you
got
to
see
anybody
and
then,
when
you
finally
did
you
get
one
of
these
clerk
guys
he
comes
along.
He
says
geez!
No,
you
can't
get
anything
here
because
you
haven't
been
here
all
this
kind
of
stuff.
I
don't
know
whether
we
like
so.
A
A
A
He
got
this
thing
about
him.
Whoever
gave
you
that
shot,
he
can
get
fired
and
all
this
kind
of
stuff,
but
it
turned
out
two
months
later.
I
guess
congress
never
even
passed
anything.
He
allowed
a
veteran
on
a
specific
thing
for
the
shot
that
I
guess
they
had
to
have
to
approve
that
in
congress.
First
for
some
stupid
reason,
but
that
that
was
true
two
months
later
and
who
knows
how
many
people
might
put
something
while
they're
waiting
va.
F
We
have
our
own
board
over
there
that
decides
on
a
lot
of
things.
It's
not
like
some
outside
board,
it's
with
the
director
and
everybody
else,
so
it
used
to
be
at
one
time.
If
you
lived
out
of
state
okay,
you
could
not
come
down
here
and
get
register
as
a
you
know.
As
a
as
a
person,
that's
been
all
changed
now.
If
you
live
out
of
state
you
come
here,
you
go
see
your
primary
care.
You
can
do
all
that,
but
it
used
to
be
no,
so
things
get
changed
in
there.
F
Bay
pines
still
has
an
ombudsman's
office.
Well
correct.
They
still
have
a
state
of
budgement
office
yeah,
but
they
got
the
they
say.
What
do
you
call
the
the
one
that
you
bring
your
problems
to
the
chaplain?
No,
no!
No!
No!
No!
No!
No!
I
was
a
crooked
yeah.
No,
they
they
have
an
office
that
you
can
go
to,
but
that's
yeah.
Well,
I.
C
Think
we're
revealing
bearing
way
out
the
bounds
of
of
this
veterans
board.
You
know
when
it
comes
to
the
va,
and
you
know
yes,
our
charter
says
you
know
like
like
we,
you
know
kind
of
read,
provide
input
and
guidance
for
all
issues
related
to
veterans
affairs
within
the
city,
but
we
are
literally
a
volunteer
board
that
meets
four
times
a
year.
C
I
personally,
I
don't
think
that
we
have
the
staffing
or
the
ability
to
have
like
what
you're
saying
an
ombudsman.
That
veterans
would
come
to
us
about
things
that
this
board
provides,
because
we
don't
provide
anything
specifically
to
individual
veterans
right
we're
advising
this
city
council
on
veterans
matters
and
when
it
comes
to
our
veterans,
park
and
names
on
the
wall,
etc.
E
Life
being
we
are
veterans
and
the
resources
we
do
have
without
getting
directly
involved,
and
somebody
comes
up
with
a
question
there's
enough
of
us
with
enough
knowledge
as
to
where
to
direct
them,
because
we,
as
we
would
have
done
in
my
neighborhood
or
somebody-
comes
up
hey.
What
do
you
bought
this
and
when
they,
when?
Are
they
going
to
open
one?
The
new
place
in
newport,
richie
and
when's,
the
one
over
toys
r
us
can
open
and
a
lot
of
talking.
F
Do
it
right
now,
with
the
county
commission,
okay,
they're,
the
ones
that
sit
on
the
board
and
they're
the
ones
that
decide?
You
know
the
cities.
Everybody
has
their
own
agenda,
but
county
commissioners
are
the
ones
that
come
to.
C
All
right,
one
of
the
another
board
comment,
because
hopefully
we
do
have
a
number
of
veterans
that
watch
this
board
is
to
basically
some
of
the
veterans
that
may
or
may.
C
That
they've
opened
up
the
clearwater
expansion
of
the
what
pinellas
north
pinellas
is
called
there
you
go
and
it's
right
in
the
old
toys,
r
us
building
across
from
countryside
mall,
it's
fully
open
and
operational
and
they've
got
primary
care
and
a
bunch
of
other
things
right.
E
Thanks
for
anybody
from
north
county
up
that
would
have
used
the
one
up
in
newport
richie.
I
guess
I'd
talk
to
it
at
gus's
office
and
he
says
that
should
be
opening
possibly
late
september.
