B
B
B
All
right,
the
first
item
in
business,
as
always,
is
open
forum
with
open
forum.
Each
speaker
will
be
recognized
once
and
will
be
limited
to
five
minute
presentation
on
any
subject.
If
any
speaker
has
not
been
heard
at
the
conclusion
of
the
30-minute
open
forum,
the
chair
may
announce
a
continuance
and
they
will
be
given
an
opportunity
to
speak
at
the
end
of
the
meeting.
B
Do
we
have
anyone
today
to
for
the
open
forum.
B
B
Do
I
have
a
motion
to
approve
the
minutes?
Second,
all
right,
all
in
favor,
all
right
all
right
now
opposed
all
right
carries.
B
E
E
Hello,
no,
I
don't
believe
that
we
have
any
concerns
at
this
point.
I
was
actually
gonna
have
john
lindsay
come
up
and
provide
his
report
as
to
where
we
stand
on
the
event.
Since
john
is
the
supervisor
in
charge,
so
you
can
do
it
from
right
there,
sir,
I
got
a
mic
right
here,
so
I'm
good
now
he's.
F
There
you
go,
but
if
ann
wants
me
to
stand
over
there,
I
certainly
will
do
whatever
anne
tells
me
to
do
so.
Since
our
last
meeting
I
was
kind
of
tasked
with
getting
a
a
singer,
which
I
think
the
the
consensus
of
the
board
at
that
time
was
they
wanted
megan
buckman
she's
more
than
willing
to
do
it.
So
we've
got
her
lined
up.
I've
got
the
eagle
already
reserved,
so
we'll
have
the
eagle
there
as
well.
F
The
only
thing
that
we
had
left
to
really
kind
of
figure
out
was
the
like
the
who
was
going
to
be
the
color
guard,
and
I
believe
somebody
else
on
the
board
was
going
to
look
into
alonso
for
that
yeah.
G
I
was
checking
into
the
color
guard
and
I
made
calls
out
to
three
to
people
who
were
heading
up
that
color
guard
last
year
and
I
sent
them
emails
and
all
of
that
and
hadn't
gotten
anything
back.
But
I
have
another
fellow
who
was
working
with
him
last
year
and
he's
gonna
give
it
one
last
try
see
if
they
can
get
something
together.
But
at
this
point
I
don't
have
anything
definite
from
them.
D
D
Well,
the
american
legion
was
the
one
that
was
over
the
last
couple
years,
yeah
I
had
done
it
for
our
safety
harbors
american
legion.
I.
F
G
Have
anybody
lined
up
right
now?
Last
year
we
had
rotc
candidates
and
the
ones
that
were
there,
it's
possible
they've,
graduating
going
on
other
things,
but
there's
new
people
and
it's
questionable
if
they're
willing
or
not
willing
and
haven't
gotten
anything
back
I'll
pursue.
F
That,
then,
I
think
that's
all
that
I
had
everything
else
is
kind
of
just
logistics,
folding
of
the
flag.
I
didn't
know
if
you
wanted
your
name
popped
up
in
terms
of
a
contact
for
maybe
somebody
to
do
the
flag,
folding
or.
B
Okay,
so
on
this
one
did
we
want
to
try
to
do
the
flag
folding,
like
we
did
a
couple
of
years
ago,
is
that
who
is
who
was
who
was
assigned
on
this
one?
That
was
for
memorial?
Who
was
taking
the
lead
on
this
one.
D
F
F
Is
this
is
kind
of
like
the
agenda
that
we're
gonna
go
with
on
memorial
day?
So,
okay,
we
were
gonna,
we
didn't
have
any
guest
speakers
okay
signed
up
for
this,
but
it
was
still
an
option
if
you
guys
decided
that
you
wanted
to
bring
in
somebody
specific.
A
I
had
one
offer
okay
and
I
got
it
out
of
dunedin
general
flynn,
and
I
I
didn't
commit
to
it
because
I
didn't
know.
If
that's
the
one
we
had
a
couple
years
ago,
that
we
caught
a
lot
of
stuff
about.
D
B
Yeah
yeah,
I
think
I
I
think
that'll
at
this
at
this
point
in
the
game
also,
I
think
that
would
that
would
probably
be
most
appropriate.
Then.
F
We
had
so
we
would
start
with
the
dignitaries.
Obviously,
and
then
we
would
have
our
gold
star
families,
the
folding
of
the
flag,
the
now
there
was
a
conversation
about
a
rifle
salute
and
a
color
guard.
Did
you
want
a
rifle
salute
with
the
color
guard,
or
did
you
just
want
a
color
guard.
F
B
In
the
past,
we've
been
able
to
get
like
you
know
of
the
fw,
our
our
rvfw's
in
oldsmar.
They
don't
have
a
color
card,
yet
colored
they
do.
B
G
B
But
you
can
always
get
yeah,
and
that
might
be
a
route
you
want
to
go
is
instead
of
getting
a
high
school,
get
an
american
legion
or
one
of
those
that
would
be
able
to
do
color,
guard
and
and
the
and
the
rifle
or
let's
say
they
don't
have
that
big
of
a
compliment?
Maybe
they
can
only
do
the
rifle,
and
then
we
get
rotc
to
do
the
the
the
color
card.
A
B
F
A
Should
have
we
should
be
playing
the
taps
also
on
memorial
day
and
if
they
don't
have
anything
I
do
I'll
play
it.
F
Say:
presentation
of
colors
pledge
allegiance
national
anthem,
recognition
of
dignitaries,
the
mayoral
message
again
we
won't
have
a
keynote
speaker,
so
these
will
just
be
the
dignitaries
symbols
of
service
and
sacrifice
our
gold
star
family
recognition.
Placing
of
the
wreath
then
we'll
do
the
rifle
salute
and
taps
and
then
a
closing
song.
Do
you
have
a
preference
for
the
closing
song
anything
specific
last
time
it
was
amazing
grace
at
the
at
veterans.
G
F
A
D
F
B
Yeah
now
in
the
past-
and
it
made
me
talk
to
the
singer
too
right
to
see
if
she's,
comfortable
singing
you
know
you
know,
are
you
know
what
she's
comfortable
in
singing
besides
the
national
anthem
right
and
then
so
I
mean
I
would
be
good
with
with
either
way
whether
it
was
amazing
grace
or
you
know,
god
bless
america
or
yeah.
B
D
Just
for
reference
point
in
that
past
we
have
used
the
sheriff's
department
to
do
this.
Salute.
D
D
F
Yeah,
ideally,
whoever
comes
into
to
present
the
colors
are
also
going
to
retire.
Okay,.
B
So
I'll
work
on
the
flag,
folding,
you
know
I'll
talk
to
the
the
guys
I
used
to
be
on
the
you
know
on
the
team
with
and
see.
If
I
can
maybe
get
a
couple
of
them
to
come
up
and
then
we
can,
you
know,
incorporate
that,
like
we
did
a
few
years
ago,.
B
Each
fold
yeah,
and
so
we
did
that
what
about
three
years
ago?
I
know
we
have
it
in
that
script
already
that
we
can
resurrect
and
then,
but
I
also
have
haven't,
have
it
also.
B
F
D
B
B
D
B
G
D
B
B
So
really
the
the
only
outstanding
items
is
to
nail
down
the
the
color
guard
and
the
and
the
rifle
team
and
and
then
and
you're
working
on
that
and
then
the
flag
folding
which
which
I'll
work
on.
B
Okay,
all
right.
Let's,
let's
move
on
to
the
next
item:
discuss
safety
barrier
for
veterans
memorial
park.
E
Okay,
so
we've
had
we've
had
a
number
of
incidents
where
people
have
fallen
or
tripped
off,
of
the
little
curb
that
we
have
where
the
bricks
are
in
the
paper
area.
Okay,
so
it's
a
step
down
or
come
the
other
way
to
step
up,
so
we've
been
kind
of
tasked
by
our
administrative
services
department
to
try
to
mitigate
that
from
happening.
E
So
what
we
wanted
to
do
is
just
to
put
this
past
the
board,
as
some
of
the
things
that
were
our
thought
process
was.
We
haven't
truly
considered
any
of
these
as
a
final
option,
but
we
wanted
to
get
your
feedback.
Basically,
what
would
happen
is
is
along
that
edge
where
that
curve
is.
We
would
install
some
kind
of
decorative
barrier
so
that
people
had
a
visual
and
if
you
were
actually
backing
up,
because
we've
had
people
actually
be
on
the
lower
level
and
people
would
back
up
and
then
they
would
fall
backwards.
E
So
if
that
were
the
case
because
they
tripped
over
the
curb
backwards,
so
that
were
the
case
at
least
they
would
be
blocked
by
the
barrier
that
we
would
come
to
select.
But
we
wanted
to
obviously
get
your
input
since
it
is
at
veterans
memorial
park,
so
yeah.
We
just
wanted
to
throw
that
out
there
to
you
and
see
if
you
had
any
feedback
going
spoke.
E
B
E
E
You
would
think,
but
like
so,
we
have
had
people
who,
whether
they're
taking
photos
and
they're
just
backing
up
or
doing
whatever
they've
we've
painted
the
curves
were
we
painted
the
curb
white
and
I
believe
now
it's
yellow
it's
yellow
to
try
to
you
know
heighten.
You
know
the
awareness
that
there
is
a
step
up
there.
So.
B
Just
I
think
it's
gonna
detect
from
it
and
really
make
it
kind
of
ugly
look
and
have
all
these
railings,
and
I
mean
my
personal
thing
is
that
yeah,
it
seems
drastic
you
know,
seems
to
me.
You
have
to
weigh
out
right
the
one
extreme
to
the
other,
like
no
safety,
and
then
we
can't
literally
wrap
everybody
on
the
planet
in
bubble,
wrap
right.
You
know,
I
mean
and
there's
something
in
between
right
and.
G
But
we
assisted
them
and
everything
and
they
were
okay
after
that
and
then
but
she
actually
took
pictures
of
us
that
you'll
see
in
our
vfw
site
there.
But
it
is
it's
easy
to
have
an
accident
there
and
then
the
other
question
is,
would
you
really
would
maybe
have
a
toe
board
there
too?
If
you
get
into
the
social
stuff.
D
I
don't
know
I'd
like
to
see
like
I
said:
if
you're
going
to
do
it,
have
it
have
it
something
decorative
that
you're
going
to
do
that's
going
to
be
enhanced,
like
put
planters
out
there
where,
where
you
would
see
it
like,
I
said
yeah,
but
you
see
the
long
planters
instead
there
now
you
could
decorate,
you
could
put
flowers
in
there.
You
could
put
shrubber,
you
could
put
little
trees
whatever,
instead
of
putting
a
railing.
It's
like.
B
C
C
C
B
G
E
Was
just
a
but
there's
been
numerous,
you
know.
G
E
B
E
B
B
B
All
right
next
item
is
to
interview
applicant
for
the
vacant
alternate
position,
so
we
do
have
one
alternate
position
vacant
currently
and-
and
we
have
two
applications
for
this
position.
All
of
you
should
have
received
the
paper
and
also
the
email
ahead
of
time
and
and
is,
is
either
dane
or
jimmy
here
today,
you're
dane
okay,
great
well,
dain.
We've
got,
of
course,
your
application
here.
Hopefully
you
guys
are
taking
a
look
look
at
it.
Would
you
like
to
address
and.
H
My
name
is
dane
pickett.
I
live
on
lafayette
boulevard,
your
actual.
H
Oh
sorry,
I
live
at
201
lafayette
boulevard,
so
I
have
been
in
the
army
since
2011.
I
am
currently
a
captain
with
478
civil
affairs
battalion
in
miami
I'm
a
reservist.
Thank
you
for
your
service.
Oh
thank
you,
sir.
I
appreciate
it.
Katie
gannon
actually
told
me
I
should
apply
for
this
position
because
we've
been
friends
with
her
for
a
while
and
veterans
and
army
soldier
life
issues
are
important
to
me.
My
wife
did
six
years
in
the
air
force,
I'm
still
in.
H
I
run
a
defense
business
on
the
civilian
side.
So
it's
it's
part
of
who
I
am,
and
I
love
taking
our
son
to
the
veterans
day
and
memorial
day,
ceremonies
and
stuff
like
that,
and
so
I
thought,
if
I
can
be
a
part
and
be
a
positive
contribution
to
it.
I'd
love
to
be
able
to
do
that
and
and
represent
veterans
who
have
served
during
the
global
war
on
terror.
There's
a
large
contingent
of
them
and
they're
generally
underrepresented
in
like
veterans,
organizations
and
veterans
boards
and
such
like
that.
H
H
G
B
Technically,
I
don't
think
you
even
have
to
be
a
a
veteran
tonight,
so.
A
B
A
I
definitely
believe
that
dane
is
here.
We
know
more
about
dane,
as
also
I
think,
I'm
the
only
one
from
the
global
war
on
terror
on
the
board.
I
think
adding
an
additional,
especially
as
an
alternate,
would
be
a
good
idea.
B
So
all
in
favor
of
dane
to
be
our
all
other
second
alternate
for
our
board,
say
aye,
aye,
aye,
all
post
all
right
and
it
carries
all
in
favor.
Welcome
all
right.
Thank
you
and
I
appreciate
what
you'll
be
able
to
do
and
help
us
with
the
board.
A
Mr
piggott
you'll
be
formally
appointed
to
the
board
at
the
may
17th
council
meeting.
So
that's
in
here
at
seven
o'clock.
If
you
can
be
here
that
would
be
great
and
then
now
that
you
are
kind
of
like
an
appointee
at
this
point,
the
sunshine
law
does
apply
so
the
way
the
sunshine
wall
works.
Just
a
reminder
you,
you
cannot
talk
between
each
other
about
anything
that
might
come
to
the
board
unless
it's
in
an
actual
meeting,
and
if
you
have
any
questions
you
can
always
reach
myself.
D
B
All
right
that
brings
us
to
board
comments.
So
the
first
comment
is,
you
know:
welcome
to
our
team
members,
bailey
and
alania
or
alana.
Am
I
saying
that
correctly
eliana
eliana,
sorry
ileana,
so
welcome.
I'm
glad
that
to
see
you
guys
here
and
you
know
for
a
while,
we
had
a
super
full
board
and
then
during
covet
it
seemed
like
we
were
kind
of
lost
some
people
and
we
were
kind
of
vacant.
B
B
C
Past
we
have
discussed
the
charter
that
we
operate
under,
and
so
I
gave
that
some
thought
and
what
I
would
like
to
do
is
propose
that
we
add
some
verbiage
to
the
current
charter
or
right
make
that
recommendation
to
the
city.
Council,
okay-
and
it
was
just
very,
very
simple.
It
just
says:
advise
the
city
council
on
all
matters
pertaining
to
veterans
in
the
city
of
oldsmar
and
that
should
encompass
anything
that
pretty
much
comes
up.
B
A
C
B
The
the
mayor's,
even
you
know,
reached
out
to
us
to
weigh
in
on
other
veterans
things
that
don't
you
know
have
to
do
with
the
park.
So
you
know,
I
think,
that's
more
than
appropriate
to
you
know
to
see
if
we
can
get
that
one
piece
amended
in.
Does
anyone
have
any
other
discussion
on
that
and
then
we
can
kind
of
make
a
motion
to
do
that.
B
C
A
So
I
moved
to
add
this
to
the
veteran's
advisory
board
charter
and
if
you.
A
B
Okay,
all
in
favor
of
of
recommending
this
to
be
added
to
our
charter,
say
aye
all
right.
Anyone
opposed
okay,
well
carrie's,
five,
five,
oh.
