Thank
you
for
having
me
hi
I'm,
understanding
that
you're
reviewing
the
general
plan
and
the
mission
statement
and
looking
towards
the
future
and
I
would
hope
that,
within
that
you
could
make
a
place
for
open
space.
I've
been
a
resident
here
for
20
years
and
I've
seen
that
disappear
quite
rapidly.
I
know
that
many
of
the
people
that
come
to
the
valley,
you
know
which
is
part
of
your
mission
statement
to
make
it
a
destination.
C
Don't
know
if
you've
been
to
Ruth
Hardy
Park
lately
that
it
is
so
full
with
tennis
players,
which
is
great
but
moving
forward,
we're
going
to
need
more
of
those
type
of
places
and
so
I
hope
that
open
space
kind
of
helps
you
meet
that
mission
statement
and
that
you
kind
of
keep
your
eye
out
and
not
let
it
all
go
away,
and
so
the
other
thing
too,
in
planning
for
a
park.
You
know
I
think
of
the
park
that
Palm
Desert
has
and
they
have
a
nice
park
with
winding
trails.
C
Where
you
can
walk,
you
can
walk
your
dog,
you
can
meet
other
people,
you
can
sit
on
a
bench
and
enjoy,
and
that
too
is
something
that
I
think
is
a
part
of
a
mission
statement
that
is
compatible
with
Palm,
Springs
and
so
I
would
hope
you
could
think
of
that
type
of
open
space
also
moving
forward.
So
thank
you
all
for
your
hard
work.
I
really
appreciate
being
able
to
comment.
Thank
you
for
your
time.
Certainly.
B
C
Thank
you,
the
committee
for
allowing
me
this
time
as
a
resident
of
Palm
Springs
full-time
I,
want
to
alert
you
that
the
first
purchase
we
made
was
in
1979
at
the
mesquite
Country
Club,
and
we
had
the
condo
closest
to
the
entrance
across
from
the
clubhouse
and
yearly
our
covered
parking
was
flooded,
and
that
was
during
the
rains
yearly
when
we
would
have
the
rains.
I
want
to
jump
forward,
forgetting
all
of
that
flooding
through
mesquite
Avenue,
coming
through
Bel
Air
greens
from
tahquitz
resort
course
across
el
cielo.
C
I
want
to
go
to
February
14th
of
last
year
and
I
want
to
discuss
that
the
roads
were
closed.
The
bridges
were
broken,
the
repair
work
took
months
and
our
law
firm
was
at
400
South
barrel.
So
we
learned
in
1979
when
we
were
at
our
law.
Firm
on
pharaoh
and
pharaoh
was
flooded.
We
couldn't
get
down
the
ski
to
get
into
the
entrance
to
get
to
our
condo.
We
couldn't
go
home,
so
we
learned
our
lesson
then
that
the
floodplain
and
it
this
is
from
the
beginning
of
time.
C
C
B
C
B
A
The
property
was
designated
for
highway
commercial
by
the
city
of
Palm,
Springs
owning
and
on
this
particular
parcel.
But
the
general
plan
shows
up
as
open
space.
We've
had
a
number
of
people
looking
to
do
some
quality
projects
and
the
inconsistency
creates
a
problem.
I'm
hoping
you'll,
consider
bringing
this
properties
to
highway
commercial
alone.
So
it's
consistent
with
the
zoning
and
we've
been
owners.
The
property
in
Palm
Springs,
going
back
to
1950
1951,
actually,
with
this
property
and
other
properties.
B
C
My
name
is
Nate
edge,
I'm,
a
resident
of
Palm
Springs
for
over
40
years,
I'm,
currently
raising
many
children
in
this
location
by
the
whiskey,
Country
Club
I
am
giving
my
vote
for
open
space.
I
believe
that
the
Country
Club
was
designated
for
open
space.
Zoning
and
I
am
one
to
agree
with
that.
I
think
there's
already
too
much
congestion
on
Sunrise.
It
would
create
more
congestion.
There's
a
lot
of
schools
in
the
neighborhood,
including
the
high
school,
the
Christian
school
st.
Theresa's,
Cahuilla
Elementary.
C
All
these
schools
right
around
this
immediate
location
and
a
lot
of
children
are
walking
to
school,
there's,
buses,
etc.
There's
a
lot
of
accidents
on
Sunrise
way
already.
So
my
concern
is
the
park.
The
Senior
Center,
the
the
pedestrian
traffic,
is
already
in
a
situation
where
we're
having
a
lot
of
accidents
on
Sunrise
levee
between
probably
Amato
and
mesquite,
or
even
a
little
bit
further
towards
South,
Palm
Canyon.
So
anyhow
that
that
vicinity
is
already
congested
and
that's
my
main
concern
right
now
is
that
we
keep
open
spaces.
C
B
Madam
chair.
That
concludes
the
call
in
public
comments.
I
also
want
to
notify
you
that
the
planning
department
has
received
over
40
letters
for
the
general
plan
steering
committee.
Two
of
those
letters
are
relative
to
items
that
will
address
as
part
of
the
circulation
element.
One
of
those
was
also
provided
testimony
that
you
just
heard
relative
to
a
conflict
between
zoning
and
general
plan
for
parcels
near
I.
B
Ten
six
of
the
letters
are
relative
to
keeping
the
boulders
and
crescendo
parcels
as
open
space,
and
then
the
remainder
of
the
letters
were
generally
about
open
space,
discussing
the
golf
courses,
bel-air
greens,
Mesquite
and
maintaining
those
as
open
space.
The
members
of
the
general
plan
steering
committee
will
receive
copies
of
all
of
those
letters
and
again,
as
those
items
come
up
under
either
the
circulation
element
or
the
land
use
element
will
refer
to
that
testimony
at
that
time.
Thank
you.
D
G
David,
did
you
want
to
say
anything
or
can
I
take
it
from
here
all
right
thanks.
Everyone,
I'm
gonna,
share
my
screen
now,
so
that
you
can
see
the
show
and
welcome.
Welcome
back,
there's
been
a
lot
of
work.
That's
been
done
since
the
last
last
meeting
several
workshops,
several
surveys,
so
today
we're
going
to
go
through
some
of
all
that
can
I
just
confirm
that
you
guys
can
all
see
the
screen,
maybe
the
head
nod
or
a
thumbs
up.
Okay,
thank
you!
Okay!
G
So
we
we
today
will
be
first
going
through
some
of
those
highlights
and
then
we
will
be
breaking
the
steering
committee
members
in
you
break
out
first
to
talk
about
the
vision
and
to
make
recommendations
to
edit
the
changes
bring
everybody
back
together
so
that
you
can
hear
what
the
different
groups
had
talked
about,
and
then
our
goal
at
this
meeting
is
to
come
away
with
a
revised
or
post
or
revised
vision
statement.
G
Obviously,
there
may
be
some
editing
when
we're
done
and
we
will
also
be
going
through
the
priorities
and
while
we're
a
little
bit
limited
on
time,
that
will
be
something
that
we
will
discuss.
We
had
sent
a
survey
out
to
all
of
you
and
so
that
we
could
see
which
priorities
were
the
ones
that
you
were
most
interested
in
talking
about.
So
we
didn't
have
time
to
get
to
them
all.
We
could
focus
on
those
first
and
then
we'll
address
the
others
at
a
later
date
and
I'll.
A
G
Lenz
address
that
when
we
get
to
the
priorities,
so
the
first
community
workshop
public
workshop
was
back
in
February
and
we
talked
about
the
primary
goal
of
that
was
to
really
look
at
the
vision
of
priorities
to
give
an
overview
of
what
the
general
plan
was,
what
it
contained,
because
this
is
a
focused
effort,
so
we're
not
comprehensively
updating
all
of
the
elements
or
really
focusing
on
the
select
few.
So
we
went
over
the
visions
and
priorities.
G
What
the
existing
ones
were
gave
people
an
opportunity
to
comment
on
the
vision
and
priorities
there,
and
we
also
had
other
stations
related
to
some
of
those
focus.
Topics
like
land
use,
housing
and
circulation,
and
many
of
you
were
there
at
the
workshop
we
had
about
55
people
attend
and,
as
you
can
see
in
the
image
to
the
right
of
the
bullet
point,
there's
a
little
dots,
there's,
yellow
and
red
dots
about
where
people
live
and
work.
So
we
had
some
clusterings,
you
know
specific
center,
but
there
was
representation
all
throughout
the
city.
G
So
we
got
a
diverse
group
for
those
people
that
showed
up
in
person
and
one
of
the
things
as
a
steering
committee
group
that
we
have
asked
you
to
help
us
with
is
to
get
the
word
out.
So
we
thought
we
share
a
little
bit
about
how
people
heard
about
the
workshop,
and
so
it
looks
like
so
one
PS,
email
and
City
collaboration
seems
to
be
a
good
place.
People
are
so
hearing
about
it
on
Facebook
and
then
word
of
mouth.
G
So,
as
you
will
see
in
Soviet
later,
people
are
becoming
more
familiar
with
the
process
and
we're
getting
more
involvement,
which
is
great,
so
I
thought
I'd
hit
upon
some
of
the
key
messages
or
themes
that
we
heard
from
the
workshop
in
and
of
itself,
and
we
also
have
some
other
themes
that
came
out
of
the
survey.
The
second
survey
that
we
sent
but
I'm
just
going
to
hit
this
at
a
very
high
level
because
he
receives
a
more
detailed
breakdown
of
comments
from
everyone
to
review
before
this
meeting.
G
What
we
heard
at
the
workshop
was
that
people
really
wanted
to-
and
we
heard
this
tonight
as
well-
protecting
increased
open
space
parks
and
pocket
parks.
There
was
some
support
and
folks
were
interested
in
supporting
higher
density
housing
in
some
places
and
walkable
development
and
targeted
areas,
so
not
comprehensively
citywide,
but
maybe
in
some
focused
location
and
then
preserving
and
enhancing
the
unique
characters
and
neighborhoods,
which
is
something
that
I
think
I
heard
quite
often
and
resonates
with
a
lot
of
people
in
Palm
Springs
as
it
relates
to
circulation.
G
We
have
been
hearing
that
at
that
workshop
the
community
really
wanted
to
increase
the
local
regional
transportation
options
and
connections
more
pedestrian
amenities.
How
can
we
get
around
and
make
it
more
convenient
for
pedestrians,
bikes
as
well,
and
then
looking
at
opportunities
to
increase
traffic
calming
in
some
areas
and
improve
traffic
flow
and
others
housing?
G
We
had
some
very
specific
issues
that
we
were
asking
people
to
weigh
in
on,
because
the
housing
element
is
a
very
different
animal
than
some
of
the
other
elements,
because
it
must
be
reviewed
by
the
state
and
approved
by
the
state.
So
we
were
asking
very
specifically
about
what
the
community
thought
the
most
pressing
housing
issues
were
and
the
one
that
rose
to
the
top
was
the
need
for
different
or
more
types
of
housing
options,
and
there
are
also
some
input
about
the
concern
for
addressing
homelessness
in
the
city.
G
The
services
for
special
needs
creating
sustainable
development,
fair
and
equal
housing
opportunities,
which
also
goes
kind
of
hand-in-hand
with
the
difference
or
need
for
different
or
more
types
of
house,
and
then
preservation
again
of
community
character.
So
even
throughout
each
one
of
these
topics,
you'll
start
to
see
some
themes
like
community
character,
diversity
options
are
showing
up
throughout
each
one
of
these
elements.
G
You
know
I
would
have
to
go
back
and
look
at
the
sheet
and
instead
itself,
because
that's
one
of
the
reasons
that
we
actually
did
a
survey
because
we
wanted
clarification.
We
had
55
people
at
the
community
workshop,
but
then
we
had
I
have
to
go
back
and
look,
but
we
had
almost
this
300
or
400
folks
answer
the
survey
and
we
had
some
clarification
questions
so
I'll
get
to
that.
I
think
there
were
some
some
comments,
but
it
wasn't
that
kind
of
an
overwhelming.
G
So
for
the
first
online
survey
that
we
hosted
that
went
concurrent
with
the
workshop,
which
focused
on
the
vision
and
the
priorities
we
had
about
338
participants,
but,
as
you
saw,
we
had
about
800
comments
that
were
submitted
along
with
that.
So
you
know
that's
actually
very
wonderful,
because
there
was
a
lot
of
feedback
and
a
lot
of
range,
and
so,
while
we
were
asking
people
to
prioritize
their
comments
on
the
vision
in
priorities,
we
got
a
lot
of
other
feedback
that
relates
to
goals
and
policies
and
other
elements.
G
So
while
it
may
not
apply
so
what
we're
doing
at
this
exercise
right
now,
we
will
have
that
opportunity
to
implement
those
things.
When
we're
talking
about
the
land-use
element
in
circulation,
we
had
some
good
representation
from
neighborhoods,
almost
all
of
them.
At
the
first
workshop,
we
were
just
missing
three
escena
gene
autry
and
more
expressly
so
stated
and
talked
about
our
demographics,
about
80,
almost
90
percent
of
the
participants
for
over
40
years
old
and
actually
was
very
encouraging
to
see
that
about
92%
when
we
combined
them.
G
We
asked
people
familiarity
with
the
general
plan
and
about
92%
had
as
we
heard
of
it
or
had
some
exposure
to
it.
So
the
community's
familiar
with.
What's
going
on
the
Community
Survey
Q
we
put
out,
because
when
we
did
the
first
survey,
we
were
only
asking
about
the
vision
priorities
and
we
thought
it
would
be
helpful
to
get
some
clarification.
Questions
as
during
20
member
Callan.
I
was
asking
well
on
some
land
use
things
that
we
saw,
because
we
wanted
to
see
well
as
land-use
circulation
housing
because
we
wanted
to
clarify.
G
Was
this
just
a
few
members
at
this
workshop
early?
How
does
that
look?
And
so
on
that
survey
that
went
out
there
were
almost
100,
more
participants
that
were
involved
in
commenting
in
the
survey.
We
also
had
a
mapping
exercise
about
things
that
people
liked
and
disliked
in
the
community
and
what
they
wanted
to
change.
G
And
again,
we
had
almost
all
the
neighborhood's
represented
and
we
just
had
a
little
switch
up
of
some
that
we're
showing
and
some
that
did
it
so
almost
the
same
level
of
participants,
age,
wise
and
then
knowledge
of
the
general
plan,
and
you
guys
have
not
seen
the
results
of
this
survey.
Yet
this
is
going
to
be
something
that
sent
out
to
you
afterwards,
I
figured.
G
There
was
only
so
much
you
guys
can
read
through
homework
wise
and
go
through,
but
it
will
be
very
helpful
in
the
conversations
when
we're
actually
getting
into
the
elements
and
talking
about
those
details.
But
some
of
the
highlights
we
asked
you
know
people
to
rank
the
things
that
were
most
important
to
them.
For
these
four
topics
that
we
started
to
talk
about
in
the
first
community
workshop
and
again,
we
heard
preservation
of
Natural
Resources,
having
some
economic
diversity
beyond
tourism,
protecting
the
village
field
and
in
circulation.
Again,
it's
the
pedestrian
amenities.
G
We
got
some
new
feedback
on
improving
road
surfaces
and
street
signage,
and
then
in
this
case
it
was
do
not
prioritize
the
high
vehicle
fees.
So
we've
got
some
balancing
to
do
the
the
steering
committee
for
help
and
you
know
where
these
opportunities
should
be
applied
and
where
they
shouldn't
with
housing.
Again
it
is
more
affordable
in
supportive
housing,
which
goes
back
to
the
first
day
of
housing
and
then
open
space
looking
at
those
nature
preserves
and
creating
more
opportunities
for
the
communications
and
open
space.
G
This
is
what
the
the
mapping
looks
like
when
people
are
asked
to
map
and
provide
all
their
comments.
So
we
were
getting
suggestions
about
locations
for
new,
affordable
housing
where
to
add
new
bike
infrastructure,
where
natural
resources
should
be
preserved,
the
sidewalks
we
got
every
level
of
detail
and
some
other
things,
our
implementation
actions
so
they're,
something
that
the
general
plan
would
help
stretch
back
to
do
over
time,
and
then
some
of
them
are
higher
level,
so
we'll
work
through
all
of
those.
G
So
at
this
point
we
are
getting
into
the
area
where
we
would
like
to
go
over
the
vision
and
priorities
with
you.
We
have
the
city's
an
existing
vision
that
was
done
in
2007
and
it
it's
time
for
a
refresher
and
just
kind
of
a
primer
on
the
terms
when
we're
talking
about
terms.
What
is
the
division?
What
is
the
priority,
and
how
does
that
relate
to
the
goals
and
policies
of
the
general
plan?
The
vision
is
that
big
aspirational
statement.
What
is
our
community
like
this?
G
You
always
go
back
to
this
when
we're
looking
at
the
goals
and
policies
to
say:
are
these
goals
and
policies
helping
to
implement
this
vision?
This
is
just
making
this
vision
come
alive.
So
this
is
what
we
say:
it's
a
common
ground.
The
priorities
are
values
of
names
like
what's
important
to
me
to
make
sure
that
we
achieve
these
things
and
represent
them
in
the
vision
statement.
G
So
we
look
at
those
kinds
of
things
like
if
I
am
living
in
my
city,
if
I'm
living
in
Palm
Springs,
what
are
those
things
are
most
important
to
me
as
as
a
community,
so
taking
that
vision
statement,
one
step
down
so
we'll
take
a
look
at
that
as
well.
The
goal
is
a
statement
of
a
future
condition.
So
that
might
be,
you
know,
create
a
and
accessible
and
accessible
community
for
bikes
or
pedestrians
or
vehicles
a
broad-reaching
goal,
and
then
the
policy
relates
to
a
statement,
that's
the
decision-making
statement.
G
H
G
G
So
when
we
ask
about
the
vision
statement
and
to
the
community
when
we're
trying
to
say
how
is
this
current
vision
statement
about,
half
of
the
community
was
okay,
with
the
way
that
the
vision
statements
currently
looked.
But
there
were
lots
of
recommendations,
as
you
know,
and
those
recommendations
were
things
like
commenting
on
some
of
the
words
like
high
style,
making
sure
the
culture
and
architectural
and
historic
resources
are
adequately
reflected
again.
The
Natural,
Resources
and
environment,
making
sure
that
stays
in
the
village
feel
allowing
for
affordable
housing
if
those
are
serving.
G
Some
suggestions
for
revisions
to
the
vision,
language
and
also
the
priorities
so
we'll
be
sharing
those
in
your
groups,
and
so
at
this
point,
what
we'd
like
to
do,
and
so
the
general
public
knows
we
are
doing
virtually
what
we
would
normally
do
in
person,
which
is
breaking
everybody
up
into
groups
so
that
we
can
have
a
facilitator
at
each
group
and
you
guys
have
an
opportunity
to
talk
to
us.
I
can
stop
talking
and
we
can
start
listening.
So
you
guys
can
talk
about
what's
important
about
your
vision
and.
F
F
General
question
first
sure
one
thing
that
the
general
plan
usually
ends
up
being
doing
is:
it
becomes
a
basis
for
lawsuits.
This
is
the
vision
statement,
the
aspirational
visions
do
they
become
a
or
future
lawsuits
or
if
we're
not
meeting
our
aspirations,
I
know
the
goals
and
policies
can
become
the
basis
for
future
lawsuits.
But
I've
never
been
clear
to
me
how
the
vision
relates
to
that
you.
G
Yeah
we
will
double-check
that
so
if
we
understand
that
the
goal
here
is
to
get
the
intent
of
what
you
guys
want
to
achieve,
and
then
we
can
go
back
and
bet
that
and
make
sure
we're
meeting
all
the
state
requirements
and
everything
else
so
that
we
don't
put
you
in
a
spot
that
you
know
you
wouldn't
be
able
to
it
or
you
would
be
held
accountable
for
not
achieving
I
mean
there
are
certain
things
like
for
the
housing
element.
You
must
show
that
you're
achieving,
but
I
haven't
ever
seen.
G
G
G
Jonathan
will
be
taking
us
in
in
the
last
room
and
Jonathan
is
a
colleague
also
of
please
work,
Jessica,
who
you
will
see
on
the
screen,
as
well
as
with
place
works,
and
she
is
helping
to
keep
us
on
track
timelines
technology,
wise
and
so
again,
if
you
have
any
questions,
you
can
put
them
in
the
chat
and
she
can
help
make
sure
you
guys
are
in
the
right
rooms
or
if
you
come
out
of
the
breakout
room,
then
she
can
help.
Put
you
back
in
my.
A
F
I
G
F
F
J
F
Or
something
equivalent,
the
high
style
tended
that
these
perceived
as
elitist.
This
concern
that
we've
dealt
with
the
concern
with
aesthetics
is
valid.
I
think
it
was
across
the
committee.
I
wanted
to
retain
the
word
like
the
high
quality
development.
We
want
to
emphasize
and
wonderful.
Neighborhoods
are.
J
K
F
F
F
G
F
We
enhance
our
Nashville
I.
Think
people
felt
that
that
in
general,
that
that
should
be
beefed
up
to
emphasize
the
points
that
I've
just
been
talking
about.
We
enhanced
the
overall
environment
of
Palm
Springs,
oh
the
natural
historian,
natural
cultural
and
historic
resources
and
with
the
sustainable
economic
growth,
and
it's
maybe
in
a
stylish
way,
but
something
that
that
that
sentence
needs
to
be
beefed
up.
Is
that
kind
of
the
consensus
that
everyone
had?
F
Let's
see
it
me
go
damp
back
down
and
see
if
there's
anything
else
that
we
got
Jonathan,
we
talked
somewhat
on
boat
number,
three,
whether
we
wanted
to
include
some
specific
references
to
people
experiencing
homelessness
business,
but
obviously
it's
a
big
issue
for
the
city.
I,
don't
think
we
reached
a
consensus
on
this
completely,
but
we're
just
thinking
about
it.
Some
people
thought
it
should
be
more
addressed
in
their
actual
priorities
rather
than
the
overall
statement.
Some
people
I
don't
know
that
anyone
wanted
us
at
the
end
of
discussion.
G
Great-
and
you
know
what
I
realized
I
was
supposed
to
do
was
I
was
going
to
pull
up
a
blank
vision,
so
that
is
you
guys
and
have
it
next
to
it.
So,
as
you
guys
are
going
through
your
comment,
I
can
make
some
edits
as
we
go
along.
So
if
I
can
do
this
quick
because
you
guys
did
not
make
edits
up
here
right,
distel.
F
G
G
No,
that's
great,
that's
fine!
That's
exactly
what
we
wanted
to
do
on
this
end.
I
just
forgot
to
open
up
one
of
the
documents
there
I
think,
maybe
because
if
all
the
comments
are
very
similar,
maybe
we
could
go
through
this
quick
and
then
I
can
pull
the
vision
up
and
then
we
can
make
those
edits.
It
seems
like
this
is
going
fairly
quickly.
So
maybe
we
go
to
then
group
briefs.
F
B
B
B
And
then
the
group
collectively
has
adjusted
and
make
some
changes
to
to
reach
a
consensus
to
incorporate
those
edits.
So
the
first
thing
is,
you
know
whether
or
not
we
wanted
to
discuss
world
renowned
as
a
part
of
the
statement,
so
that
was
taken
out
because
there
was
a
question
about
how
that
really
applied
to
the
city.
Twenty
years
from.
G
K
B
E
A
E
Only
say
that
you
know
I
struggled
a
lot
with
the
proper
words
to
replace
high
style.
I
think
that
was
a
theme
that
came
out
a
lot
through
people's
comments
is
that
it
is
either
hard
to
understand.
I
think
that
similar
to
the
earlier
breakout
groups,
comments
and
so
progressive
attitude
just
seemed
to
come
together
and
the
other
two
members
responded
positive
to
that,
but
interested
in
others.
Feedback.
G
Well,
I'm
seeing
some
themes
here.
So
with
the
group
permission
you
know
we're
talking,
I
think
the
high
style
and
it
before
I
get
to
the
final
one.
What
I
would
like
to
do
is
maybe
start
with
Group
threes
revision
because
they're
some
of
the
same
themes
and
coffee
that
up
and
then
we
can
hear
from
group
number
one
and
then
maybe
we
can
finish
and
resolve
some
tweaks
and
edits
to
the
language
using
that.
Would
that
work
with
everybody.
G
G
Some
of
it
because
it
will
a
high
style,
comes
out.
That's
what
we
would
double
check
and
make
sure
because
I
do
see,
there's
some
theming
in
diversity
and
inclusivity
when
we
get
some
verses
one
and
about
sustainable
economic
growth.
So
so
I
thought.
Since
we
already
started
to
make
edits,
we
could
go
back
and
circle
around
and
use
that
as
the
basis
and
refine
as
a
family,
because
I
conveniently
have
a
blank
page
and
I.
A
Can
add
it
so
so.
D
If
you
can
keep
we
it's
hard
to
see
the
whole
screen,
so
if
you
you're
taking
some
of
it
up,
we
basically
wanted
to
delete
the
world
the
words
world-renowned
in
high
style.
On
the
first
bullet.
We
talked
about
it
being
a
beautiful
small
city.
We
didn't
use
the
word
resort,
where
we
have
we're
in
a
beautiful
environment,
enjoy
safe
neighborhood.
This
beautiful
scenery,
relax
seeing
lifestyle
and
cultural
and
entertainment
amenities
on
the
last
bullet.
D
D
D
It
really
doesn't
describe
the
city
as
much
as
it
would
describe
the
government
and
we
we
felt
that
it
was
a
little
bit
too
rigid
to
have
the
word
government
in
there.
We
wanted
to
include
a
a
statement
that
we
celebrate
the
diversity
in
our
community,
including
our
Hispanic
Native
American,
black
Asian
and
LV
LGBT
residents
or
communities.
D
D
D
H
D
A
F
Want
we
struggle
with
the
trending
with
an
inclusive
term,
for
a
tourist
destination
and
the
residents,
you
know
a
high
quality
for
our
residents.
Maybe
we
should,
in
this
first
bridge,
to
put
both
those
terms
in
they're,
both
a
both
both
a
leisure
destination,
our
and
a
vibrant
city,
or
some
of
the
word
for
it
residents
as
well.
I.
D
G
What
do
others
think
are
there,
others
that
want
to
weigh
in
on
some
of
this
wording
and
how
to
integrate
your
their
sentences
from
one
that
we
should
pull?
You
know
over
her
and
I.
You
know:
I,
think
that
celebrating
diversity
was
a
nice
way
statement
of
something
that
is
very
prevalent
in
Palm,
Springs
and
I.
Think
I've
got
a
couple
hands
that
so
go.
A
A
A
D
A
D
H
A
L
Yeah
so
I
agree
with
that.
The
last
comment
my
mind
here
and
Curt
did
a
really
nice
job
on
adding
some
words
in
there
and
we
just
helped
to
worse
with
a
little
bit,
but
I
would
caution
against
and
I
run
the
diverse
Chamber
of
Commerce,
the
LGBTQ
Chamber
of
Commerce
I
would
caution
against
being
too
specific.
As
you
start
categorizing,
because
you
don't
want
to
family
someone
out,
then
someone
feels
it.
I
think
embraces
diversity
and
fosters
unity.
Is
a
nice
general
phrase
and
it's
all
how
the
city
does.
H
K
Jump
in
here
I
had
a
couple
of
thoughts
there
in
our
group
we
use
the
word
inclusivity
instead
of
using
the
word
diversity
or
similar
reason
to
that
which
David
mentioned.
Is
that
you
don't?
But
the
point
here
is
to
include
everyone
in
our
community,
and
you
want
a
word
that
is
broad
enough
to
do
that,
even
if
we
didn't
think
of
that
group,
as
we
were
talking
about
this
issue,
so
that's
the
term
we
came
up.
K
Another
issue
I
wanted
to
talk
about
is
for
me
having
discussions
with
inclusivity
and
diversity
in
the
third
bullet
point,
which
is
focused
on
public
services,
limits
to
degree
to
which
we
embrace
diversity.
I.
Think
bullet
point
one
is
about
lifestyle
and
quality
of
life,
and
to
me
that's
a
big
amenity.
It
really
helps
with
quality
of
life
for
everyone,
so
for
me,
I
think
it
should
be
in
the
first
bullet
point:
I.
F
K
A
L
Iii
think,
if
you
put
I'm
sorry
I
didn't
hold
my
hand
up.
Jessica
I
want
to
follow
the
rules,
but
you
know
I,
like
the
a
vibrant
and
inclusive
desert
resort
community,
but
I
still
like
embraces
the
diversity
part
there,
because
inclusiveness
and
diversity
kind
of
have
two
different
definitions
and
I
respect
what
you
said
John,
but
I
think
that
includes
us
bring
everyone
together,
no
matter
what
I
was
looking
it
up
on
the
dictionary
and
diversity
is
each
person's
different.
So
we
embrace
these
person's
difference
too.
L
G
G
G
See
the
separation
is
like
providing
efficient
public
services
to
be
responsive
to
your
community
and
then
I
see
the
relationship
of
the
quality
of
life
and
having
that
embracing.
The
diversity
is
an
experience
you
have
in
the
city
and
not
related
to
the
government
services.
So
that
was
the
conversation
first,
one
that
had.
G
G
L
A
G
F
K
G
A
great
question:
thank
you
for
that
prompt.
Usually
what
happens
is
the
vision
is
established
at
the
very
beginning
and
same
with
the
priorities,
so
the
next
steps
from
here
would
be
that
we,
you
know
right
now.
You
guys
are
doing
a
great
job,
getting
the
text
pretty
close
and
you
know
looking
at
it
in
the
big
picture.
G
Is
we
establish
it
at
the
beginning
of
the
process
and
as
we're
working
with
you
guys
like
if
we
go
through
some
goals
and
policies,
and
we
see
that
you
know
what
we
got
the
wording
close,
but
we
have
some
little
tweaks
or
revisions
that
we
think
could
use
some
refinement.
Then
we
can
make
those
recommendations
to
Council
when
everything
is
moving
forward.
So
it's
a
little
bit
of
an
iterative
process.
G
K
Yeah,
so
it
sounds
like
what
will
be
presented
to
planning
and
council
is
maybe
sort
of
one
unanimous
or
matter
unanimous
version,
but
sort
of
have
close
to
a
consensus
version
as
we
have
with
maybe
some
bullet
points.
That
said,
something
like
these
are
the
other
ideas
that
were
brought
up
for
your
consideration.
Yes,.
G
F
A
K
L
Yeah
question
or
comment
and
I'll
keep
the
last
one
on
this
back
to
the
editing
a
little
bit,
I'm,
not
sure
how
this
goes.
If
this
is
a
standalone
or
what
the
preamble
before
it
is,
but
would
it
not
start
out
Palm
Springs
is
a
vibrant
and
inclusive
desert
resort
and
then
the
wheel
and
better,
as
opposed
this
following
I,
really
like
that.
D
Me
on
the
second
bullet:
it
might
read
better.
We
we
preserve
our
natural,
architectural,
cultural
and
historic
worsts
and
but
balance
them
with
the
state
I'm,
not
sure
if
the
idea
of
balance
and
preserved,
because
you've
got
your
your
balance
is,
is
the
second
part
of
that
and
your
preserve
is
the
first.
So
do
we
want
to
change
those
two
words
so
that
it
matches.
D
L
B
L
G
K
Think
I
like
enhanced
too,
because
it
could
deal
with
an
issue
that
I
hadn't
yet
raised,
which
was
in
some
ways
I
feel
division
is
very,
even
though
we're
supposed
to
be
looking
in
towards
the
future.
It
feels
like
it's
concerned
with
now
in
the
past,
so
I
think
enhance,
helps
us
be
more
forward-thinking,
so
I
like
that
word.
F
Yeah
in
terms
of
this
word,
smithing
that
we're
doing
in
that
second
paragraph
we
preserve
and
enhance,
and
then
save
balance
well,
I
think
it
would
be
and
balance
with
sustainable
economic
growth
that
makes
it
sound
like
those
are
inclined
to
be
mutually
exclusive
and
so
I'm
not
entirely
happy
with
that.
I
actually
prefer
that
the
way
it
was
before
we're.
F
D
J
J
D
A
H
D
H
A
F
A
Know
that
we
need
that
phrase.
In
the
second
point,
my
concern
about
the
second
bullet
is
now
I'm.
Reading
it
and
what's
lost,
there
is
sustainable
economic
growth.
It
seems,
there's
a
lot
of
focus
and
emphasis
on
preserving
enhancing
balancing
all
of
these
things,
but
really
sustainable
economic
growth
is
now
minimized.
In
that
phrase,
I
don't
even
see
it
there
so
I'm
just
wondering
how
important
is
that
to
the
group
I
think
finding
a
way
to
be
a
more
sustainable
community
is
very
important.
I
take
it
lost
in
the
in
the
point
and.
G
G
D
F
Was
just
noticing
architectural
resources
and
historic
resources
are
types
of
cultural
resources,
so
we
have
some
redundancy
there.
I,
don't
know
if
in
place
of
cultural,
we
might
want
to
say
archaeological.
Where
do
we
want
to
in
that
specific
in
terms
grant
I
must
suggest
we
get
rid
of
the
word
cultural.
Although
cultural
I
guess
we
don't
conclude
prehistoric
if
we
get
rid
of
the
word
cultural
I
might.
H
A
H
D
F
A
L
I'm,
just
saying
which
is
the
more,
which
is
the
more
important
to
lead
off
with
preserving
that's
a
lot
of
things,
are
preserving
handsome
balance.
That's
that's
a
lot
there,
but
is
that
preserving
the
resources,
the
architectural
cultural
resources
or
is
the
most
important
thing
balanced,
the
sustainable
economic
growth?
If
we're
talking
about
the
vision,
which
is
the
two
is
more
important,
if
that's
whatever
it
is,
should
go
first,
I
kind
of
liked
it
the
old
way
of
preserving
the
resources
along
with
the
balancing
sustainable
growth,
but
that's
just
apply.
D
G
You
guys
have
both
like
do.
You
have
to
have
a
trade-off
so
that
you
have
you
know
we
something
about
fostering
or
I
know
where
to
use
that,
but
something
was
encouraging,
something
with
economic
growth,
and
then
we
preserve
and
balance
our
naturals
that
we
do
all
these
things.
You
don't
have
to
pick
one
against
you,
I
mean
eventually
say.
K
I'm
not
sure
that
it's
completely
relevant
right
now,
given
the
new
direction
that
Wendy
was
going
in,
which
I
made
like
also
but
I
just
wanted
to
point
out
that
one
of
the
comments
we
got
is
they
weren't
that
someone
wasn't
sure
how
well
these
division
and
the
priorities
fit.
Our
current
sustainability
master
plan
I
just
want
to
point
out
that,
in
our
current
sustainability
master
plan,
sustainable
economic
growth
is
sort
of
a
sub
point
under
a
larger
umbrella
of
sustainability
and
I
know.
K
Economics
is
really
important
in
business
work,
which
is
really
really
important,
but
you
know,
if
that's
one
way
that
you
can
think
about.
Sustainability
is
that
it
includes
our
natural
resources.
Our
ability
to
maintain
a
you
know,
make
a
living
and
our
historical
and
cultural
resources
that
might
be
a
way
to
get
around
this.
It's
just
to
say
that
we're
going
to
be
sustainable
in
terms
of
natural,
cultural
and.
A
Come
this
is
Margaret
I
like
that.
I
did
see
that
comment
about
whether
somebody
asking
whether
this
plan
was
consistent
with
the
sustainability
plan.
I
think
that
was
a
great
question
and
if
economic
or
sustainable
economic
growth
is
kind
of
a
part.
The
broader
issue
of
sustainability
I
totally
support
making
a
broader
statement
on
this.
A
little
chatter
point:
what.
D
D
L
Understand
a
sustainability
and
green
Kathy
I,
just
think
it.
It's
I
think
we're
just
demonstrated
in
here.
Otherwise,
it's
more
of
our
actions,
but
we
don't
want
to
get
too
long
on
this
document.
We've
already
added
words
to
it
and
we
need
to
have
something
as
a
mission
vision
statement.
That's
something
that's
a
little
more
rolls
off
our
tongue
versus
something
we
have
to
read
and
find
and
look
up
if.
G
Yeah
I
know
I
was
going
to
suggest
that,
because
I
think
you
know
what
even
when
we
are,
you
know
working
with
all
our
clients
and
jurisdictions,
it's
hard
for
us
to
pick
the
right
word,
because
it
means
something
to
everybody
else
and
I
think
the
challenges
that
we
can
wordsmith
this.
So
you
know
to
death.
I.
Think
one
of
the
things
that
we're
trying
to
see
and
I
think
I
wanted
to
take
a
sidebar
it
at
this
point.
Go
you
know,
are
we
closed
on
the
wording?
Can
we
get
it
there?
G
B
G
Under
an
hour,
okay,
yeah
I
talk,
though,
but
we
need
to
start
getting
through
the
priorities
and
there's
them,
so
you
know
we're
so
we're
obviously
not
going
to
be
able
to
get
through
all
of
those.
So
we
have
some
thoughts
on
how
we're
going
to
approach
that
as
well.
So
maybe
we
could
try
this
together.
G
A
H
E
If
I
could
recommend
that
you
know,
we've
got
many
statements
in
here
now,
because
we
were
showing
some
alternate
wording
if
we
maybe
just
for
the
place
keeper
now
went
back
to,
we
balanced
sustainable
economic
growth,
with
the
preservation
and
enhancement
of
our
natural,
architectural,
cultural
and
historic
resources
period.
That
can
maybe
be
where
we
think
about
this
over
time
and
see
if
we're
really
uncomfortable
or
can
live
with
that
or
finalize
that
next
go-around,
but
I
think
I'd
like
to
at
least
put
a
pin
in
it
at
one
point
here,
yeah.
G
L
A
G
G
All
right,
let
me
say
this
that
gives
us
something
to
go
off
of,
and
then
what
we
can
do
is
we'll
figure
out
the
official
next
steps
as
we
look
at
it,
we'll
go
back
and
work
this
and
based
upon
your
feedback
and
see
if
we
have
some
options
for
you
guys,
we
can
circle
back
around
on
it.
So
thank
you
guys.
This
has
been
a
very
productive
dialogue.
Okay,
so
now
what
we'd
like
to
do
is
go
back
and
look
at
the
show
quickly
on
the
priorities.
You
know
what
we
found
on.
G
G
So
that's
why
we
asked
you
guys
to
take
a
look
at
it
with
their
information
that
we've
got
from
the
survey
and
what
your
feedback
was,
and
we
came
up
with
your
responses
about
the
priorities
that
were
most
important
to
pull,
and
so
the
I
figured
we
would
try
to
go
through
as
many
as
we
can
get
to
today.
You
know
we
talked
about
priority
one
and
then
go
to
priority
three
insulin:
I,
don't
know
if
you
want
to
jump
in
here
about
what
the
next
steps
are
for
that
or
yes,.
B
I
G
Balance
goes
for
tourism,
and
so
you
know
at
this
point,
I
think
I
would
just
like
to
open
it
up
to
you
guys
and
what
you
want
to
share
and
then
what's
going
to
happen
here,
we're
going
to
do
this
as
a
large
group
discussion,
we
won't
be
able
to
do
the
breakout.
So
if
you
can
use
the
raise
hand,
that
would
be
really
helpful,
so
we
can
make
sure
everybody
has
a
chance.
Why.
G
I
G
D
G
If
we've
got
some
feedback
I'm
looking
at
the
the
email
that
we
said
to
you
guys,
you
know
I
heard
it's
like
you
know,
we
I
think
there's
some
conflicts
between
those
I
thought
it
was
over
emphasized
and
those
is
an
economic
development
school.
So
what
does
it
really
mean
to
be
a?
And
maybe
obviously
we
take
out
the
world's
premiere
or
that's
what
you
guys
had
talked
about
on
the
last
version
of
the
vision.
L
G
L
Already
talked
about
the
you
know:
desert
resort
destination
everywhere,
whatever
was
in
the
last
one,
but
I
just
say
instead
of
world
just
say:
support
Palm
Springs
as
either
as
a
premier
desert
resort
or
whatever
something
like
that.
I
think
the
only
concern
is
really
worlds
or
words.
That's
my
only
thought.
D
Concern
am
I
on
my
concern
with
this
is
that
tourism
right
now
supports
most
of
what
we,
how
we
fund
our
city,
but
it
shouldn't
it
shouldn't
twenty
years
from
now
that
shouldn't
be
the
case,
and
so
I
do
believe
that
we
should
be
supporting
our.
You
know
our
tourist
industry,
but
I'm
not
sure
it's
our
first
priority
well.
G
I
should
also
clarify
that
the
priorities
have
equal
weight,
so
it's
one
their
priority
one
through
ten.
These
are
just
kind
of
those
things
and
because
you
do
in
priority,
three
have
a
discussion
about
diversifying
the
city's
economic
foundations
and
promoting
Palm
Springs
as
a
first
choice
for
business,
so
meaning
that
you
know
in
all
the
desert,
communities,
people
picks
home
Springs,
first
to
locate
their
business
forces
somewhere
else.
D
E
Yes,
I
think
we
did
a
good
job
of
taking
away
some
of
that
world
renowned
and
the
desert
resort
type
thing
in
the
vision
and
but
I
do
think
it's
very
important
that
a
priority
be
to
sustain
the
focus
not
exclusively
obviously
on
tourism.
But
you
know
this
is
the
history.
It
is
a
economic
engine
for
us
that
supports
all
the
other
things
we
want
to
do
so,
I'm,
just
thinking
that
we're
I
changed.
It
was
making
some
things
of
referring
it
to
just
as
a
premier
resort
community.
E
E
I
personally,
like
the
fact
that
I
have
people
coming
in
and
keeping
my
community
changing
with
new
faces
and
new
ideas
and
people,
so
I
think
just
in
some
way,
we
can
do
it
where
support
isn't
the
word,
maybe
it's
advanced
or
something
else,
but
as
a
premier
resort
community
for
and
in
some
way
residents
and
tourists,
I
think
what
most
people
are
objecting
to
in
a
community
is.
It
just
seems
that
there's
too
much
emphasis
on
the
tourists
at
the
expense
of
the
residents.
J
A
K
So
I
I
had
one
thought
that
it
applies
to
priority
one
and
two
and
I
know
we're
not
talking
about
to
yet
but
I
anytime.
This
comes
up
I,
you
know
it's,
just
a
concerted
I
think
should
be
brought
up,
and
that
is
that
I
think
we
have
the
wrong
metric
in
trying
to
be
the
world's
premier
desert
resort.
Just
as
we
have
the
wrong
metric
for
trying
to
be
a
leader
in
efficient
resources,
our
goal
is
not
to
just
be
better
than
a
person.
That's
right
behind
us.
K
K
I
think
desert
is
important
because
we
are
a
desert
community
and
recognizing
sort
of
ecological
uniqueness
of
our
area
is
important,
but
as
a
resort,
I
think
a
community
is
would
likely
have
to
be
more
than
a
resort.
You'd
need
families,
you'd
need.
You
know,
people
who
have
all
kinds
of
life,
so
the
word
resort,
doesn't
necessarily
capture
what
I
think
we
should
be
in
20
years.
Those
are
my
comments.
D
G
G
H
Sorry,
no,
not
there,
you
go
okay,
I'm,
not
too
keen
on
putting
a
place
to
retire
in
here,
not
that
we
aren't
very
welcoming
of
seniors,
of
which
I
am
one
but
it
to
me,
and
it
doesn't
need
to
be
added
to
this
I.
G
J
G
F
G
A
G
Right
so
the
the
next
one
that
you
guys
talked
about,
that
was
the
most
important
kind
of
ties
into
what
we
were
talking
about
is
this
priority
three
and
well
there's
three
of
them
at
the
same
level,
but
priority
three
was
one
of
the
the
next
gear
down
and
this
one
was
diversify:
the
city,
economic
foundations
and
promote
conferences.
First,
choice
for
business,
I.
G
Some
of
the
feedback
was,
you
know:
I,
don't
understand
words
for
first
choice,
so
you
know:
there's
me
for
especially
miss
Ovid
to
diversify
the
economy
and
diverse.
This
is
the
diversification
question
and
I
think
we
heard
that
one,
a
lot
I'm
trying
to
look
and
see
if
there's
some
other
ones.
No,
it
was
mostly
all
about
diversifying.
G
There
was
a
suggestion
about
combining
with
priority
four
and
saying
further,
diversify
and
I'll,
show
you
for
in
a
minute,
further,
diversify
and
strengthen
the
city's
economic
foundation,
searcher
local
businesses
and
attract
new
and
unique
businesses,
including
retail,
to
expand
employment
opportunities
and
provide
unique
offerings
for
visitors
and
residents
alike.
I.
G
Think
there's
a
lot
of
detail
on
that
and
the
priority
could
probably
be
streamlined
a
little
bit,
but
that
gives
you
some
ideas
of
what
some
folks
for
suggesting
for
this
I
mean
I,
guess
the
question
is:
are
you
guys
familiar
with
all
the
priorities
so
that
you
know
as
we're
going
through?
You
know
you're
keeping
in
mind
how
they
react
with
all
the
other
one
I.
G
D
G
K
Wanted
to
point
out
that,
for
me,
there's
part
of
number
four
that
can
go
into
number
three,
because
I
think
there's
a
section
about
tax
revenues
where
there
was
been
a
concern
that,
through
the
land
use
the
way
land
use
has
been
deployed
in
Palm
Springs
that
there
has
been
a
loss
of
tax
revenue
to
other
cities.
That's
an
economic
issue,
so
it
should
go
into
number
three
for
me,
the
first
half
about
encouraging,
diverse
and
appealing
shopping
opportunities.
G
So,
just
so
everybody
sees
it
fresh
because
it
kind
of
releases
right
next
door.
Priority
four
is
develop
a
full
range
of
retail
opportunities
for
local,
regional
and
tourist
market,
and
that
was
another
one
that
people
wanted
to
pull.
Some
said
it
was
okay,
but
the
retail
opportunity
is
something
that
people
were
questioning,
so
this
one
was
diversify
the
economic
foundations
and
the
other
one
was
retail.
So
when
we're
talking
about
economic,
that
would
be
your
other
jobs
generating
industrial
I
guess
it
could
be
hospitality
as
well.
A
H
Just
I
know
that
there's
a
stereotype
of
what
people
like
to
do
when
they
go
on
vacation
and
one
of
them
is
to
shop
but
I
think
in
light
of
twenty
years
from
now.
H
It
serves
me
to
imagine
that
it's
going
to
be
the
same
after
not
even
because
of
the
pandemic,
but-
and
we
had
already
noticed
that
retail
shopping
is
gone
online,
it
seems
like
that's
going
to
be
a
trend,
so
it
to
have
a
whole
separate
priority
for
retail
it
rather
than
just
have
it
rolled
into
economics.
I
seems
more
sensible
to
me.
D
E
Yes,
I
think
echoing
what
Kathy
said
actually
both
Kathy's
in
the
sense
that
I
think
that
we
do
need
the
diversification
expand.
Maybe
in
other
words
it
could
be
put
in
there.
I
don't
think.
There's
need
to
have
retail
called
out
on
its
own
I
think
that
was
where
we
were
10
or
15
years
ago,
where
people
really
felt
like.
We
didn't
have
much
retail
and
I'm
not
saying
that
we
reached
that
plateau,
but
I
think
it
can
be
included
in
that
as
a
diversification
concept.
L
And
I
just
didn't
fluid
something.
Do
I
have
to
keep
the
same.
There
were
priorities.
Can
we
combine
I
presume
we
can
combine,
but
going
back
into
the
document.
You
know
we're
getting
just
the
headline
here
and
we're
not
looking
at
what
the
definition
or
some
of
the
concept
or
the
comments
were.
The
definition
of
what
those
priorities
are.
I
think
that,
instead
of
trying
to
just
merge
two
thoughts
from
the
titles,
we
look
back
with
the
intents
were
and
then
see
what
we
can
combine
see
how
we
could
wordsmith
it
from
there.
L
J
I
agree
with
the
consent
of
the
group
regarding
being
able
to
diversify
and
so
I
think.
That's
something
that
we
need
to
as
a
city
or
city
council
needs
to
take
a
very
strong
look
at
and
see
what
we
can
do
to
try
to
have
an
end
state
of
diversifying
that
the
valley,
and
so
when
I
think
about
that.
You
know
information
technology
is
here
to
stay.
J
It's
a
part
of
our
life
today
and
will
be
a
greater
part
of
our
lives
tomorrow
and
the
day
after
so
I
feel
like
there's
something
that
city,
council
or
local
government
should
do
with
state
leadership.
They
try
to
bring
in
something
I,
don't
know,
maybe
a
Microsoft
and
then
teach
that
know
more
of
a
IT
background
at
our
schools
or
our
colleges
in
the
valley.
You
know
college
of
the
desert
or
wherever
so
that
we
can
try
to
diversify
and
bring
the
higher
paying
job.
J
Because
you
know
a
person
with
the
IT
background
in
certification
is
starting
to
earn
pretty
much
near
the
six-figure
salary
and
so
tourism,
it's
good,
but
it's
not
diversifying,
and
then
you
know
to
also
bring
something
in.
But
it's
just
we're
going
to
get
the
capital
dollars
to
start
something
like
a
some
sort
of
production
where
we
can
manufacture
something
I
think
we
have
the
enough
folks,
but
maybe
not
part
of
the
labor.
So
again
that
perhaps
a
study
that
could
be
done
and
looked
at,
how
would
you
bring
something
large
into
the
Coachella
Valley?
D
H
D
We
have,
and
that's
it
that's
a
goal
that
we
I
think
we'll
need
to
work
on
for
20
years.
Yes
and
I
do
think
that
we
need.
We
have
been
doing
a
lot
of
work
and
trying
to
nurture
unique
Palm
Springs,
unique
businesses
as
well,
so
I,
wouldn't
throw
out
number
four
I
think
what
it
was
written
for
20
years
ago,
but
there's
a
need
for
it
for
the
next
20
and.
G
G
D
But
I
think
the
way
it's
written
is
so
it
probably
it
probably
is
the
local
and
tourist
markets
and
those
are
different,
but
yeah
I
agree
with
you,
I
just
think
we
shouldn't
throw
it
out.
We
need
to
get
to
a
work
group
that
wants
to
work
on
this
or
the
other
option
would
be
to
do
another
meeting
and
go
through
the
rest
of
these
very
quickly
and
then
send
it
to
a
workgroup
Flynn.
Do
you
want
to
comment
on
that?
Yeah.
D
D
B
That
gives
us
three,
madam
chair
and
I,
will
be
in
contact
with
the
subcommittee
members
and
we'll
go
ahead
and
schedule.
Our
first
meeting
do
that
via
zoom,
just
as
we
are
doing
now,
and
so
we'll
go
ahead
and
get
that
set
up
and
then
we'll
also
take
the
vision
statement
to
the
subcommittee
as
well.
Wendy
want
to
have
a
chance
to
words
and
at
that
and
send
that
out
to
the
entire
body
to
take
a
look
at
that
draft
and.
D
B
D
A
F
G
Understand
you
know
it's
a
we'll
set
up
the
resources.
We've
got
a
lot
of
stuff,
I
really
appreciate
and
I
said
this
earlier.
The
number
of
comments
that
we
got
and
doing
the
homework
I
know
this
is
a
commitment
of
your
time,
not
only
here,
but
you
know,
reading
things
and
kind
of
getting
into
the
planning
101
with
us,
and
we
couldn't
call
down
on
all
these
priorities
and
information
without
your
feedback.
So
I
really
appreciate
your
thoughtfulness.
B
As
well,
I
really
enjoyed
your
participation
today,
all
the
thoughtful
comments
and,
more
than
anything,
the
time
you're
spending
with
us
on
updating
the
general
plan.
We
really
do.
Thank
you
and
appreciate
your
efforts.
So
again
everyone
you're
doing
a
tremendous
job
and
thank
you
for
being
part
of
the
supreme
committee
and.
G
B
Do
this
I'd
like
to
make
a
little
progress
with
the
subcommittee
and
then
what
we'll
do
is
we'll
send
out
an
email
to
everyone
and
look
at
scheduling
the
next
meeting
and
again
trying
to
work
around
everyone's
personal
commitments.
I
know
that's
kind
of
tough,
but
we
really
need
the
whole
group
here
so
again,
we'll
send
out
an
email.
As
for
the
next
meeting
and.
