Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
B
B
There
a
second
I'll,
second,
very
good,
all
in
favor,
any
opposed
very
good.
Okay.
Now
is
the
time
that
has
been
set
aside
for
members
of
the
public
to
address
the
public
Arts
Commission
on
items
of
general
interest
within
the
subject
matter:
jurisdiction
of
the
public,
Arts
Commission
and
agenda
items
if
the
member
of
the
public
cannot
be
present
later
in
the
meeting
at
the
time.
The
item
is
heard
by
the
Commission.
Additionally,
members
of
the
public
may
address
the
Commission
on
each
item
listed
on
the
posted
agenda
at
the
time.
B
B
B
E
B
B
D
The
Martin
Luther
King
jr.
commemoration
celebration
is
on
Sunday
at
2
p.m.
at
the
st.
Paul
of
the
desert,
Episcopal
Church
here
in
Palm
Springs
and
if
miss
Henning
would
like
to
add
more
to
that
you're.
More
than
welcome
to
do.
But
before
she
does,
we
agreed
and
correct
me
if
I'm
wrong
that
we
would
jury
the
commission
of
choice,
selections
for
the
exhibit
after
the
meeting.
D
So,
if
you're
able
to
to
stay
that
way,
two
o'clock-
two
o'clock-
yes
and
I-
have
a
flier
I'm,
not
sure
how
many
entries
we
have,
but
we
have
Timothy
Bradley
who's,
a
box
of
professional
boxer,
hammer,
everybody
knows
hammer
and
Raul
Reyes
will
be
their
congressman
and
a
host
of
other
dignitaries
and
people
from
the
community.
So
it's
an
exciting
event.
Last
year
was
just
overwhelming.
B
Yeah,
how
many
awards
are
we
giving
and
how
much
justice
we
should
probably
have
it
in
that
record.
C
It's
best
in
shows
one
hundred
and
fifty
dollars.
First
place
is
a
hundred
second,
seventy-five
third,
fifty
and
Commissioner
choice.
I
believe
is
twenty-five.
I
think
I
got
that
right.
Okay,.
B
C
C
C
If
you
would
like
to
come
by
and
give
your
jurors
award
on
that
day
after
Mary
Ann
is
done
with
the
jury
of
the
show.
That
would
be
great
I'm,
anticipating
we'll
be
done
by
noon.
So,
if
you
wanted
to
come
by
the
Art
Center
after
that
that'd
be
wonderful,
I
will
send
out
an
email
reminder,
letting
everyone
know
that
date
and
time
again
once
again:
Tuesday
January
30th.
If
you
can
make
it,
that's
wonderful.
If
not,
we
understand
and.
C
C
F
F
C
B
C
C
C
C
A
B
We
should
note
that
if
someone
is
interested
in
buying
a
works
of
art,
you
have
to
connect
them
with
the
artist
the
neither
the
desert,
Art
Center,
nor
the
Arts
Commission
actually
takes
money
for
works
of
art.
You
can
maybe
help
them
call
the
person
and
then
find
a
way
to
have
them
picked
up
or
whatever,
but
you
don't
have
to
be
taking.
A
Sold
some
work
sold
yeah
work.
B
C
Asking
when
to
do
it?
Yes,
hopefully
she
will
have
space
in
her
schedule
for
us,
okay
and
then
one
last
thing.
Look
since
we
won't
meet
again
before
January
20th
on
January
20th,
we're
doing
it
having
another
art
talk
this
time
our
guest
speaker
will
be
Kathy,
Allen
she's,
a
professor
at
Copper,
Mountain,
College,
and
also
an
assemblage
artist
and
amongst
other
media.
C
Various
mediums,
but
Kathy
worked
very
closely
with
Noah
Purifoy
when
he
was
alive
and
is
one
of
the
docents
up
at
the
Museum
and
she's
very
well-versed
in
his
work
and
about
everything
that
has
to
do
with
his
place
up
there.
So
it
will
be
at
the
Desert
Art
Center
at
2
o'clock
p.m.
I
hope
you
can
join
us.
Our
other
two
speakers
have
had
a
good
attendance
turnout.
We've
had
Charlie
got
a
Conda
and
Bernard
Lee
Bob
of
bakso
projects.
So
now,
Kathy
Allen
is
our
third
one.
B
Actually
that
makes
me
remember
to
mention
that
at
the
Art
Institute
gallery,
the
Arts
Institute
is
part
of
Palm
Springs
High
School.
There
is
a
gallery
and
what
was
the
High
School
Auditorium?
It's
now
called
the
Richards
Center
and
because
students
from
the
Arts
Institute
participated
in
the
portraits
of
a
city
project
last
year,
the
gallery
is
showing
about
a
dozen
of
the
photographs.
C
B
F
B
D
B
A
D
B
C
Start
on
Tuesday,
so
Tuesday
mornings
a
busy
morning
we'll
be
installing
the
MLK
exhibition
at
the
library
and
then
both
via
the
classroom
at
7:00
a.m.
so
launching,
so
Cynthia
will
our
to
Sofia
and
Rica's.
That
will
be
her
first
session
with
the
kids
talking
about
the
project
and
that's
getting
them
started.
Okay
and.
C
C
B
F
She
is
the
one
man
band
that
she
is,
but
we
don't
have
enough
people
that
know
about
it
and
I
think
we've
all
shared
that
so
as
Anna
and
I
have
been
talking
back
and
forth
in
our
subcommittee,
we
just
one
of
those
things
that
we
needed
to
find
someone
that
becomes
an
issue
and
through
a
very
dear
friend
of
mine
and
someone
who
I
highly
respect
and
who
has
had
wonderful
social
media.
I
asked
him.
F
Who
does
yours
and
he
said
oh
I
want
you
and
let
me
put
you
in
touch
with
Maddalena,
so
Anne
and
I
were
fortunate
enough
to
meet
with
Maddalena
Garza,
and
she
has
a
social
media
company
here
in
your
packet.
She
has
given
us
a
proposal
to
do
social
event
management
services
when
we
discussed
it
with
her.
We
thought
the
best
way
to
go
forward
was
to
do
something
just
for
a
few
months
to
see
if
it's
a
good
fit
for
both
of
us.
F
We
have
to
be
able
to
justify
and
I
think
you
know,
having
those
kind
of
numbers
is
going
to
be
great
creation
of
Facebook,
ad
campaigns,
campaign
conversion,
results,
tracking
campaign,
specific
reports
and
comparison
reports.
So
when
I
got,
the
proposal
was
really
happy
to
see
the
amount
of
reporting
that
she
had
included
in
that
as
well,
because
I
think
that's
going
to
be
critical
at
the
end
of
this
as
we
evaluate,
but
she
was
so
excited
after
we
left
the
meeting
and
we
were
standing
waiting
for
her
ride
to
pick
her
up.
F
She
was,
you
know
almost
giddy
about
and
she
was,
and
it
was
right
during
the
holidays.
All
this
craziness
and
and
I
kept
saying
you
know
it's
okay,
get
us
your
proposal
when
you
can
I
realized,
there's
a
lot
happening,
but
she
turned
it
around
really
quickly,
and
so
that
is,
you
know
what
our
committee
believes
is
the
best
way
to
move
forward
and
trying
to
get
this
information
out.
We
obviously
have
great
things
to
talk
about.
There
are
these
platforms
for
us
to
utilize,
and
we
have
this
wonderful
opportunity
to
do
this.
D
This
is
great.
Excuse
me,
however,
for
the
sake
of
integrity
and
protecting
our
integrity.
As
a
commission
correct
me,
if
I'm
wrong,
you
know
we
may
want
to
talk
to
at
least
one
more
company,
whether
it
be
an
advertising
company
or
social
media
company,
or
you
know,
there
are
several
Hispanic
and
african-american
social
media
groups
that
that
can
assist
that
not
that
I'm
bringing
race
into
this
right.
F
Yes
well,
and
that
was
one
of
the
questions,
and
let
me
direct
this
to
staff
sure
I,
don't
know
what
we
are
first
of
all
obligated
to
do
in
going
forward.
Something
like
this
I
was
thinking
that
it
was
a
small
enough
contract
that
we
wouldn't
have
to
go
through
a
whole
RFP
process
and
I
so
appreciate
your
idea
of
integrity
and
I
would
be
more
than
happy
to
talk
to
anyone.
I
would
just
ask
that
you
give
me
the
names
of
some
people
that
we
could
talk
to.
I.
Have
that
also.
B
We
did
think
of
this
as
a
trial,
and
one
of
the
things
that
she's
going
to
do
is
give
us
monthly
reports
on
the
exposure
that
this
gets.
Now
we
have
to
point
her
in
the
direction.
For
example,
she
could
be
there
for
the
Martin
Luther
King
event.
She
she
takes
videos,
she
takes
photographs,
she
interviews,
people
we
have.
There
is
a
unofficial
website,
I
mean
an
official
Facebook
page
that
is
heading
set
up.
G
Madam
chair
Amy
Blaisdell
manages
our
social
media,
so
she
may
be
one
to
get
involved
in
this
process.
Also
in
terms
of
issuing
of
RFPs
wear
formal
rfp
may
not
be
required.
It
is,
as
a
commissioner
murray
has
pointed
out,
always
a
good
practice
to
get
more
than
one
a
quote
from
companies,
so
that
is
something
that
staff
would
be
happy
to
approach.
B
Pointed
out
the
one
one
person
shot
here
and
it's
hard
to
keep
up
with
planning
all
of
these
I
think
what
we're
looking
for
is
not
something
official,
but
something
that
is
starts
to
sort
of
be
a
record
of
what
we're
doing
and
just
get
people
interested.
It
would
not
be
official
I
mean
it's
not
meant
to
replace
what
Amy
sends
out
or
the
publicity
that
we
do
it's
more
to
have
someone
there
and
we
can
create
a
page.
That's
just
I
mean
I
have
one
called
Palm,
Springs
public
art
that
says
clearly.
F
Where
are
you
going
to
be
distributing
this
outside
of
I
mean
and
that's
one
of
the
reasons
I
was
so
impressed
with
the
work,
because
the
particular
person
I
know
that's
her
client
I
see
everywhere
and
that's
you
know,
that's
her
company,
that's
what
she
does,
so
it
is
going
outside
of
and
already
having
those
lists
of
places
or
putting
together
those
lists
of
where
she
can
help
helping
us
get
our
message
out.
I.
D
D
You
know
we
need
to
be
fair.
Some
of
that
is
in
place,
it's
not
directed
towards
you,
but
you
know
thinking
about
the
bigger
picture
as
far
as
yeah
I
don't
know
if
we
need
to
get
into
branding
or
anything
like
that,
all
right.
Well,
I'd
say
what
excuse
me.
I
said
the
social
media
part
of
it
I
think
I
think
it
is
this
something
that
that
could
grow
into
something
larger
not
to
interrupt,
but
I
just
think
we
need
to
be
fair
that
that's
my
main
I.
F
Have
no
problem
with
that
I
want
to
talk
about
processed
them.
So
if
we
got
in
here
because
all
of
a
sudden
we're
gonna
be
in
February
and
we
still
haven't
you
know
and
if
we
can
bring
people
in
or
figure
out
how
to
create
the
process
so
that
at
least
at
the
February
meeting
we
can
agree
to
bring
someone
on
board.
So
we
don't
miss
another
whole
season
of
being
able
to
do
this.
So
yeah
I
have
an
AB.
You
are
absolutely
right.
F
D
C
Okay,
so
our
procurement
rules
dictate
the
way
we
handle
so
listening
bit
and
getting
contracts.
Anything
$5,000
and
above
has
to
we
are
required
to
have
three
bits
and
procurement
encourages
us
to
do
an
RFP
so
that
we
are
getting
bids
for
apples.
Everything
is
apples
to
apples,
we're
not
talking
to
someone
and
saying
hey:
can
you
do
social
media
because
one
person's
idea
of
that
is
different
from
someone
else's?
C
So
it's
going
to
have
to
be
a
formal
written
out
proposal
of
what
we
are
seeking
if
once
$5,000
and
up
and
even
below,
we
have
to
get
three
bits.
It
is
and
once
again
it
should
be
apples
to
apples
and
anything
the
ordinance,
the
Municipal
Code
States,
that
$5,000
expenditures
from
the
public
arts
mind
has
to
go
to
council.
C
That's
that's
we're
not
hiring
her
Sophia's
not
being
hired
by
us.
She
is
working
with
us
and
then
we
are
offering
her
a
stipend
and
Louisa
is
who
we
send.
The
School
District
have
artists
that
they
go
through
and
they
vet
so
Sophia
and
Troy
were
more
or
less
vetted
by
Louisa
and
go
through
her
program
in
her
process.
So.
B
B
B
G
G
It
does
sound
like
you'd
like
to
have
somebody
out
there,
on-site,
taking
pictures
posting
to
social
media
and
promoting,
and
maybe
we
should
also
take
a
look
at
the
work
that
has
been
done
at
your
acquaintances,
sure
place,
work
sure
that
give
us
a
better
idea
of
what
the
goal
is,
and
we
can
review
that
with
our
the
individuals
I
mentioned.
Does.
C
C
Now-
and
that
was
previously,
but
that
you
know,
we've
always
respected
that
going
forward
and
Amy
is
the
one
that
handles
social
media
content.
She
handles
the
city's
Facebook
pages
and,
although
I
you
know,
we
do
have
the
public
arts
page
and
then
Denise
Goolsbee
has
an
News
neighborhood
organization,
Facebook
and
Twitter,
and
you
you
can't
post
to
it.
So
once
again,
we
don't
I,
don't
think
we
want
well.
B
Okay,
but
I
think
we
should
at
the
same
time
we
should
recast
this
if
we
can
as
an
alternative,
as
this
is
like
paying
a
stipend
to
an
artist
I
think
the
the
kind
of
the
scope
of
what
we're
talking
about
here
is
you
know,
we're
not
trying
to
to
override
the
city's
efforts
or
anything
else.
There's
a
there's,
a
gap
in
just
there
learn
no
ways
through
the
city
to
share
the
kinds
of
you
know
seen
around
town
kinds
of
things.
B
You
know
this
is
and
I
take
pictures
all
the
time
and
I
don't
know
where
to
put
them
and
the
other
day
I
was
at
the
fountain
where
Sonny
Bono
is,
and
it
was
purple
when
I
was
just.
D
B
D
B
Know
the
California
desert
Arts
Council,
just
a
fairly
new
organization
that
was
started
in
La
Quinta,
but
involves
all
the
cities
in
the
Coachella
Valley
is
doing
an
app
and
they've
asked
each
city
to
send
them
photos
of
their
public,
art
and
I.
Know
he's
been
in
touch
with
misspending,
so
you
know,
and
and
at
no
cost
to
any
city
they're
undertaking
this.
B
So
that
and
I
think
it
makes
a
lot
more
sense
to
have,
as
you
drive
around
all
of
the
art,
so
I'm
happy
to
report
that
but
I
think
we
we
never
did
get
updated
photos
of
some
of
the
art
and
then
over
the
holidays.
My
daughter
was
here
and
she
stumbled
across
an
app
that
is
a
scavenger
hunt
in
downtown
Palm
Springs
and
you
pay
like
$10
and
you
can
have
as
many
people
as
you
want.
So
we
were
recruited.
B
We
had
just
a
couple
of
us
and
you,
you
started
the
steps
of
the
Art
Museum
and
up
pops,
a
question
like
how
many
stars
are
there
on
the
sidewalk,
and
so,
if
you're
there,
you
count
them
and
you
put
in
the
right
answer
and
then
it
says:
walk
down
to
the
sculpture
of
Lucille
Ball
on
the
corner
there,
which
way?
Is
she
looking?
You
know.
F
B
C
C
If
you
take
pictures
of
public
arts
when
we
have
the
boho
bazaar,
Mary,
Jo
and
I
were
taking
pictures,
and
so
were
the
other
artists.
If
you
tagged
that
photo
hashtag
Springs
hashtag
visit
Palm
Springs,
it
goes
in
the
tourism
newsfeed
and
then
they
repost
it
as
well
so
Mary,
Jo
and
I,
and
all
the
artists,
so
I
had
all
the
participating
artists
and
friends
that
were
visiting
and
co-workers
that
came
by.
They
were
all
doing
that,
so
those
images
were
showing
up
in
the
Palm
Springs
tourism
newsfeed.
C
So
that's
an
easy
way
to
also
get
out
and
in
terms
of
Facebook
reports.
Melanie
I've
been
getting
those
with
what
we've
been
doing
on
Facebook
with
the
city's
public
art
page,
so
I'd
be
happy
to
show
you
those,
and
it
also
gives
us
all
the
reports
of
how
many
people
were
reaching
out
to
in
the
Los
Angeles
area
high
desert
area.
So
it's
been
a
great
tool
that
we've
been
using.
We've
been
having
a
lot
of
fun
with
it
and
having
success.
So
that's.
B
C
That's
gonna
be
on
there
as
well,
so
I'm
gonna
start
posting
those.
We
find
that
as
we
get
closer
to
the
event
that
it
works
better
to
start
posting,
those
to
the
Facebook
page
or
Instagram,
page
and
I
have
other
friends
and
colleagues
in
the
community.
That
I
have
also
been
tasking
with
sharing
our
things,
who
have
large
amounts
of
following
a
large
followers.
A
large
number
of
followers,
so
so
I
suggest
that
you
know
everyone
here
to
do
the
same
thing
when
you
see
the
event
created
and
you
notice
it.
A
E
B
E
Thank
ya,
that's
I,
think
more
to
the
point
of
what
I'm
saying
is
because
we
as
a
commission
would
have
to
sit
down
and
determine
what
our
direction
is.
If
we
were
going
to
do
those
well
for
an
RFP,
this
would
give
us
the
opportunity
to
work
with
this
social
media
person
as
a
consultant
to
us
for
a
short
term
and
pay
a
stipend,
if
that's
possible,
to
help.
C
Develop
what
I
did
I
think?
That's
something
that's
going
to
have
to
go
to
procurement
I
mean
going
from
contract
to
stipend
I.
Don't
that's
a
procurement
issue
so
once
again,
I
know
what
I'm
like
what
rules
I'm
bound
by
and
I
have
to
adhere
to
in
terms
of
procurement
and
contracting.
So
that's
what
I
can
answer
to
now.
If
you
wanted
to
do
an
internship
and
not
and
have
someone
come
on
board
as
an
intern
and
volunteer
their
time,
the
city
does
have
an
internship
program.
C
F
I,
just
wait
can
I
just
want
to
everyone,
two
things.
One
remember
this
is
the
single
biggest
thing
we've
talked
about
in
the
year
or
so
that
I've
been
on
here.
Is
nobody
really
knows
what
we're
doing
and
I
appreciate
that
we
are
now
having
doing
more
of
that
with
Jen
it's
hitting
time
again,
she's
still
that
one-man
band
and
this
our
subcommittee
and
what
I
don't
want
to
start
seeing
us
happen
is
that
the
full?
F
Yes,
we
come
here
as
a
group
to
decide
on
whether
or
not
to
move
forward,
but
if
this
becomes
something
that
we
do
is
a
whole
Commission,
then,
what's
the
point
of
having
a
subcommittee,
I
would
still
suggest
that
it
comes
back
to
the
subcommittee.
We
figure
out
what
the
requirements
are
again
very
happy
to
talk
to
other
potential
people
then
bring
back
at
the
next
meeting.
Okay,
the
subcommittee
has
met
with
these
three
vendors,
and
this
is
our
recommendation
that
this
is
the
one
so
that
we
are
not
using
our
time
here.
B
Always
with
staff
know
that
what
we
are
essentially
doing
is
what's
what's
involved
in
this
discussion
is
that
we
think
that
it
would
be
helpful
to
have
someone
like
this
as
part
as
a
consultant
in
order
to
develop
a
social
media
strategy,
and
that
I
would
like
to
request
or
propose
that
if
everyone
agrees
that
this
is
a
good
strategy
to
go,
that
we
asked
the
staff
to
come
up
with
the
way
to
do
it.
Yeah.
A
G
G
B
I
hope
that
you
will
try
to
package
this
need
that
we
have
for
a
strategy
and
to
do
it
into
a
form
that
can
be
approved
by
the
city,
and
you
know
better
and
I
thought
that
this
as
a
trial
run
for
just
$5,000
for
five
months
would
be
modest
enough
as
a
way
to
try
it
out
that
we
could
do
it.
So
before
you
find
out
what
you
know.
The
procedure
is
for
a
big
contract
to
do
social
media,
for
you
know,
on
a
big
scale
for
the
next
year.
B
B
B
D
F
D
F
B
E
Will
thank
you,
madam
chair.
If
we
have
been
discussing
in
subcommittee
and
also
here
at
the
Commission
about
our
desire
to
start
doing,
temporary
art
installations,
primarily
in
the
downtown
core
overall
of
the
new
development,
is
happening.
We
were
first
sort
of
thinking
about
the
assigned
lot
for
the
luminaire
house,
part
of
the
downtown
park
project,
but
without
knowing
specifically
who
has
jurisdiction
on
that
right
now
and
any
timeline
on
it.
We
were
also
looking
around
the
general
area
and
then,
through
a
connection
with
chairman
Scheffer.
E
We
rely
or
learned
that
grit
development
would
allow
us
to
use
the
Virgen
hotel
site
which
is
directly
behind
their
office.
Their
offices,
201
North,
Palm
Canyon,
so
whatever
the
property
site
actual
is
called
I.
Don't
know,
though,
how
to
identify
her,
the
Virgin
hotel
site,
so
in
our
last
meeting,
I
handed
out
leaflets
from
artist
Michael
bernburg
who's
with
us
today.
E
E
E
For
the
title
moment,
movement
change
and
an
installation
which
is
now
up
on
this
screen
at
10
by
30
laser
cut
steel
that
would
go
on
to
the
site
of
the
urgent
hotel,
a
line
sort
of
to
face
west,
south
or
south
west,
facing
the
museum
downtown
park
zone.
Giving
all
of
the
people
who
are
walking
around
that
area.
A
big
art
installation
to
look
at
to
make
them
also
further
fully
aware
that
there's
a
role
a
lot
of
great,
exciting
things
going
on.
E
E
B
E
I
do
have
a
list
of
questions
regarding
the
specifics
of
the
site,
such
as.
When
will
we
have?
When
could
we
have
possession
of
it
for
what
length
of
time
what
will
be
left
on
the
site?
Because,
right
now,
there's
some
construction
material?
There?
Will
there
be
fencing
on
the
site?
No
fencing?
Will
there
be
public
access,
so
I'm,
hoping
through
Ellie
at
Michael
Brown's
office,
have
the
answers
to
that
question
prior
to
our
meeting
in
January
the
18?
So
we
could
address
more
specifics
about
the
site
itself.
H
In
way,
we
so
much
change
going
on
so
much
opportunity
for
recognition
of
change,
and
we
see
change
in
and
among
ourselves
and
the
way
we
communicate
in
a
way
we
relate
to
one
another
in
the
way
we
identify
with
ourselves,
and
it's
also
important
to
recognize
that
change
is
a
function
of
our
experience.
It's
a
function
of
our
world
and
I.
Think
you,
you
know
it's
it's
it's
an
opportunity
to
bring
all
of
those
things
together.
H
All
those
things
that's
kind
of
what
moment
movement
change
does
is
it
reflects
our
cultural
and
social
and
our
creative
capacity
in
all
of
those
manners,
as
well
as
the
the
the
essence
of
you
know
what
we
are
as
as
human
beings
as
we
grow
as
we're
born
as
we
grow
as
we
age
as
we
come
and
go
from
this
world.
It's
all
change
and
it's
all
a
very
important
kind
of
making
us
all
a
human
community
to
recognize
some
of
the
the
basic
things
that
ties
together.
B
H
H
It's
all
about
taking
kind
of
philosophical
concepts
and
boiling
them
down
into
two
bite-sized
communications,
and
it's
very
much
you
know,
notice
selfie.
The
idea
of
the
selfie
notes
to
the
self
understanding
self
knowledge,
and
it
does
appeal
to
I-
mean
appeals
to
people
of
a
wide
range
of
people,
but
I
could
see
in
particular
notice
that
people
who
are
younger
you
know
in
their
late
teens
early
20s
are
gravitating
towards
opportunities
to
think
and
I,
and
then
that
to
me
is
is
is
really
important.
H
A
In
terms
of
the
drawing
that
we're
looking
at
sure,
I
just
was
curious
because
originally
I
think
we
had
all
imagined
that
the
piece
would
be
oriented
more.
What
you
might
say
parallel
to
the
street:
okay
Bilardo
all
right,
as
opposed
to
perpendicular,
so
I'm,
going
to
make
sure
that
your
comfortable
with
making
a
change
like
that
I'm.
B
H
H
H
A
B
H
I
mean
I
think
understanding
the
viewer
and
traffic
over
time
to
you
know
cuz.
It
could
be
up
there
for
a
year,
maybe
two
years
and
I
was
right
also
because,
as
the
park
gets
developed,
then
you
have
people
on
that
side,
but
also
you
have
you
know.
Is
there
gonna
be
a
lot
of
traffic
flowing
from
Cobb
County
past?
You
know
Starbucks
through
that
passageway
and
as
they
enter
the
area
you
know
do
they?
B
E
A
further
note
to
that
I
see
this
installation
being
probably
the
first
or
perhaps
two
or
three
other
installations
that
may
exist
on
the
same
site.
We
could
agree
to
have
Michael's
up
for
the
whole
duration
of
our
access
to
the
site.
We
could
determine
a
specific
length
of
time
that
it's
there
and
we
could,
if
the
Commission
wanted
to
or
the
city
want
us
to
do,
an
RFP
for
other
installations,
they're
going
to
live
on
that
site
until
we
learn
whether
or
not
we'll
be
able
to
use
the
downtown
part
part
of
the
site.
E
That's
going
to
be
the
luminaire
house,
because
I
see
I
would
like
to
see
us
as
a
commission
think
more
about
temporary
art
installations,
because
if
that
goes
back
to
the
whole
change
thing,
because
my
background
I
did
temporary
art
installations
in
San
Francisco
for
a
period
of
seven
years
and
all
of
the
public
that
we
interacted
with
during
those
installation
periods,
some
loved
the
piece.
Some
doesn't
like
the
piece,
but
they
knew
that
it
was
temporary.
Then
the
next
one
press
will
be
their
favor
so
just
to
get
sort
of
our
first
foot.
E
B
A
I
also
just
wanna,
say:
there's
also
a
lot
of
other
things
that
we
need
to
discuss
Lee
since
it's
on,
because
traditionally
the
Arts
Commission
puts
pieces
on
city
property
and
not
private
property.
So
we
understand
there's
a
lot
of
other
things
that
need
to
be
dealt
with.
We
also
haven't
discussed
if
it's
going
to
be
purchase
of
the
piece
or
possibly
a
rental
of
the
piece.
So
all
of
these
things
are
also
part
of
this
product.
You
know
a
larger
project
and.
B
F
F
You
know
that
the
you
know
that
this
is
of
things
to
come.
You
know,
you
know
just
some
really
exciting
blurbs
and
signs
to
really
tell
people
that
you
know
the
best
is
yet
you
know
whatever
the
new
is
just
you
have
to
come.
You
know,
wait,
you
know,
look
for
this
space,
you
know
the
public
Arts
Commission,
you
know
work
on
this
park
and
we're
gonna
have
all
this
great
stuff
for
everybody's.
You
know
just
something
exciting
and
not
just
a
little
plaque,
but
just
really
communicate.
Yeah.
E
That's
actually
a
very
good
point
and
that's
something
that
we
should
take
to
the
max
on
this
particular
installation
if
we
were
moving
forward
with
it,
because
it
starts
to
engage
the
public
with
the
story
and
we
could
have
more
of
the
story
actually
on
in
place
on
the
site
rather
than
just
saying.
Yes,
this
is
the
piece
by
Michael,
Gerber
gonna
be
here
for
such-and-such
a
time.
This
is
the
beginning
of
the
change
and.
D
B
You
know
we
would
like
to
know
where
they
see
our
fitting
into
their
plans
rather
than
are
just
coming
in
and
saying
you
know,
sculpture
in
this
area
when
they
may
have
something
else
in
mind
or
would
like
it
to
be,
and
are
the
public
arts
ordinance
talks
about
being
involved
in
the
planning
of
public
art
and
in
spaces
from
the
beginning,
not
just
coming
in
afterwards.
So
I
think
this
could
be
a
start,
and
it's
I
think
it's
exciting
that
this
developer
sees
the
value
in
having
some.
B
E
Also
ties
in
with
our
goal
of
wanting
to
activate
sites
that
are
dormant,
whether
it's
a
construction
site,
retail
storefront,
engaging
temporary
murals
on
construction,
Pence's,
all
of
the
sort
of
thing
which
could
be
done
also
at
this
site.
Once
we
learn
what,
if
any
of
the
fence
will
remain
in
place,
the
same
with
the
park
fence.
F
E
B
B
E
E
C
C
B
A
F
E
B
F
B
Mean
and
I'm
not
sure
what
we
would
put
on
the
agenda
for
this.
We
do
have
a
mural
to
consider
that
has,
and
you
know,
push
it
along,
but
I
think
if,
if
we
put
it
on
the
agenda
for
February
8th
and
tried
to
have
all
the
answers
so
that
it
was
a
full
fledged
proposal,
I
think
it
would
make
more
sense
than
to.
B
B
B
C
Would
I
think
chair
Schaffer
made
a
great
suggestion
about
putting
this
on
the
February
8
agenda
and
in
between
now,
and
then
we
can
figure
out
whether
you
want
to
put
it
under
a
presentation
or
put
it
under
you
know
new
business
or
business
figure
out
what
information
you
have
and
where
you're
out
after
you
meet
with
Michael
Braun,
to
discuss
some
of
the
siting,
issues
and
yeah.
No,
but.
B
C
Think
that
probably
the
best
ways
to
do
what
you
said
put
it
on
the
February
February
8th
agenda,
we
can
put
it
under
new
business
or
even
legislative,
depending
on
what
we
want
to
do
have
a
full
proposal.
Also,
you
may
want
to
come
up
with
some
additional
sites,
like
the
Commission,
like
has
done
in
the
past,
just
a
good
practice
in
the
event
that
something
comes
up
with
the
great
development
site
that
we
don't
know
about,
and
we
can't
have
it
there
for
some
reason.
That
least
there's
other
alternatives.
B
B
B
A
C
Russell
and
I
talked
about
this
a
little
bit
and
prior
to
the
meeting,
there's
a
couple
ways
that
we
could
go
about.
This
I
mean
obviously
public
art
is
a
little
bit
interesting
and
that
what
Michael
does
can't
necessarily
be
done
exactly
the
same
by
someone
else.
So
there's
you
know
it's
not
we're
a
little
bit
outside
the
procurement
area
in
terms
of
commissioning
artwork
other
times
what
the
Commission's
have
done,
they've
issued
RFPs
and
to
see
you
know,
created
an
RFP
and
then
put
it
out
to
regionally
a
statewide.
C
D
B
Absolutely,
however,
anyway,
we've
been
talking
about
doing
that
with
coming
up
with
a
lot
of
sites
for
murals,
for
example,
and
then
asking
for
proposals
but
I.
Think,
as
you
say,
it's
a
little
different
with
art
than
with
buying
other
things
and
I.
Think
it's
the
Commission
votes
to
Commission
a
work
of
art.
B
Then
we
can
do
it.
I
mean
we
are
it's
a
specific
work
of
art
that
we
would
like
to
purchase
or
be
able
to
display
for
two
years
and
there's
a
lot
of
technical
parts
to
that.
But
I
think
this
particular
idea
does
not
lend
itself
to
an
RFP
because
we
are
on.
We
are
going
to
try
to
put
this
on
private
property.
So
if
we
need
to
tell
him
what
it
is,
you
know
we're
not
saying
how'd
you
like
to
have
a
you
know
see
what
somebody
would
like
to
put
on
your.
G
B
C
H
You
fight
the
excuse
me,
the
crew
that
way
I
would
would
be
installing
it,
our
lowest
licensed
locally
contractors,
and
they
actually
were
involved
with
installing
two
of
the
large
installations
for
desert
X.
So
they
have
a
lot
of
experience
and
I
know
that
some
of
the
interest
and
timewise
was
expressed
because
the
we
members
of
the
some
of
the
members
of
the
Commission
wanted
to
capture
the
exposure
that
modernism
week
so
I
know.
I
know
they
think
you
know
timelines.
C
H
Know
things
happened
I,
but
it
does
you
know
it
will
it
will
takes.
It
will
take
some
time
to
to
to
manufacture
it
and
to
install
it.
So
if
you
want
it,
if
you
wanted
to
have
it
in
time
for
modernist,
we
just
keep
that
in
mind.
We.
B
H
H
B
B
It's
really
facilitating
works
of
art,
downtown
and
I.
Think
you
know
the
fact
that
this
is
going
to
be
it's
already.
You
know
so
many
more
people
walking
around
downtown
and
when
the
public
park
is
there
would
be
nice
to
have
the
art
be
part
of
the
draw
for
coming
down
to
the
restive
away
from
Starbucks.
You
know
you
still
have
to
have
something
people
want
to
see
the.
H
A
B
Item
is
an
update.
You
know.
We
then
took
a
bit
of
time
proposing
some
revisions
to
the
mural
ordinance
it.
It
had
already
been
adapted
somewhat
by
the
Planning
Commission
or
the
the
Planning
Department
we
put
in
our
suggestions.
It
went
to
the
city
attorney,
who
I
think
got
a
little
carried
away
and
put
in
a
six
months
jail
term.
If
he
didn't
take
your.
B
But
that
was
not
necessary,
but
it
went
to
Council
and
there
were
some
very
good
comments.
Members
of
the
council,
the
first
one
they
sort
of
worked
around
and
then
wondered
why
people
would
be
required
to
keep
a
mural
up
for
one
year
which
we
had
cut
down
from
two
years,
but
as
they
talked
about
it,
they
thought
as
long
as
you
have
a
maintenance
contact.
B
Why
are
we
saying?
Why
are
we
making
a
differentiation
between
Liat
said?
Temporary
murals
could
be
three
to
six
months
and
then
anything
else
had
to
stay
for
a
year.
So
the
council
took
that
out
all
of
it
having
to
do
with
the
murals.
Then
they
talked
about
the
fine,
because
the
fine
for
not
applying
and
applying
asking
forgiveness
as
mr.
Middleton
kept
saying
they
they
are
the
ones
that
suggested
it,
because
we've
had
a
number
of
murals
that
didn't
apply.
B
However,
they
wanted
to
make
sure
that
it
was
once
someone
had
paid
the
fine
that
they
should.
They
could
immediately
apply
to
have
this
approved
in
retrospect.
So
it's
not
very
different
from
what
we
did
before,
except
that
there
is
the
the
city.
Can
levy
a
fine
and
it
it
it
goes
from
like
$1,000,
if
you
don't
remove
it
within
30
days
and
then
$5,000.
B
But
you
know
it's
unlikely
that
someone
would
a
refused
to
remove
the
mural
and
not
apply
to
have
it
approved,
so
I
think
they
felt
that
it
achieves
their
goal
of
just
making
the
point
that
you
ought
to
apply
first.
Meanwhile,
the
fees
have
been
reduced
to
nine
hundred
and
fifty
dollars.
The
process
is
application
to
the
planning
department
who
sends
it
to
us.
We
review
it
and
if
we
approve
it,
it
goes
to
the
City
Council
more
or
less
on
their
consent
agenda,
because
any
council
person
can
pull
something
off
of
the
consent
agenda.
B
So
if
there
was
a
mural
that
someone
looked
them
the
email
about
or
something
they
could
pull
it
off
and
discuss
it
at
the
council
meeting,
but
in
general
they
indicated
they'd
just
as
soon
not
have
to
start
all
over
again
and
the
the
last
part
that
was
sort
of
called
out
is
that
there
is
now,
instead
of
a
30
day
notice
before
you
can
file
the
application
or
whatever
it
said
before.
It
is
ten
days
notice
to
property
owners
within
500
feet.
B
Ten
days
before
the
Arts
Commission
meeting,
at
which
the
mural
will
be
discussed
and
I,
think
everyone
felt
that
it
was
important
to
have
the
property
owners
and
the
public
have
a
time
to
to
come
and
express
their
feelings
about
it.
But
it
is
not
a
public
hearing.
It's
simply
a
courtesy
to
tell
them
ten
days
ahead
of
time
that
there
will
be
a
meeting
so
I
think
we
were
able
to
get
a
notice
of
this
special
meeting
on
January
18th
out
ten
days
ahead
of
it
just
an
in
fact,
from
what
I
understand.
B
G
B
G
B
G
G
B
B
B
A
B
G
C
B
B
C
F
D
C
This
is
yeah
your
Mike
sign.
A
C
C
There
was
a
sculpture
that
was
located
in
an
interior
courtyard
at
the
library
that
had
been
damaged
and
we
I
had
offered
to
help
library
staff
go
ahead
and
get
that
repaired.
It's
actually
quite
a
lovely
sculpture.
It's
a
fill
up,
culprit
son.
It
was
dad
I
want
to
say
at
the
1972,
it's
very
similar
to
a
piece
that
we
have
at
the
airport.
That's
part
of
the
museum's
collection.
So
anyhow,
the
individual
has
spoken
to
me
and
I,
giving
her
an
update
so
I.
C
C
D
F
F
Is
there
any
way
that
we
can
get
like
a
mid
month?
I
mean
I
was
going
to
ask
weekly,
but
maybe
a
mid
month,
update
on
on
things
that
are
ongoing
with
the
Commission's.
So
we
don't.
You
know
we
don't
find
feel
like
we're
tied,
find
out
about
things
like
at
the
last
minute
or
just
right
before
you
know
when
we
get
our
materials
for
the
meeting.
So
if
we
had,
if
I
had
some
things
earlier
in
the
month,
like
I
feel
like
we
could
be
moving
forward
a
little
bit
easier,
I
think.
B
The
first
thing
is
we
and
we've
been
trying
to
do.
It
is
to
have
subcommittees
meet
sometime
between
meetings
depending
on
how
much
is
going
on.
But
maybe
if
a
subcommittee
wanted
to
just
send
a
quick
email
to
Jennifer,
reminding
everyone
of
this
or
that
she
could
just
turn
around
and
send
it
out
to
everyone.
I,
don't
think
you,
it
wouldn't
work
till
I
send
her
the
information
and
then
she
has
to
write
a
report
and
you
know,
keep
up
with
six
committees,
etc.
B
B
B
F
Just
would
like
to
make
a
comment
that
I
thought
the
boho
bazaar
was
a
lovely
event.
I,
don't
know
how
it
turned
out.
I
wasn't
able
to
get
back
because
it's
the
holidays
and
all
the
sudden
light
takes
over,
but
I
don't
know
if
any
of
the
other
commissioners
were
able
to
go
check
it
out.
But
I
just
thought
there
was
a
really
interesting
group.
I
was
there
early,
so
I,
don't
know
how
the
crowds
turned
out.
F
I
remember
was
really
cold
that
morning,
but
I
just
wanted
to
thank
staff
and
everybody
that
was
behind
that,
because
I
thought
it
was
a
really
great
event
and
I
hope
they're
willing
to
do
it
again
next
year,
because
you
learn
so
much
in
the
first
year
to
be
able
to
prove
and
improve
it
the
next
year.
My
second,
that
it
was
a
great,
a
I
hope.
Hopefully
we
had
a
great
turnout.
C
Thank
you
for
this
comment
and
it
actually,
it
did
turn
out
well,
especially
on
Saturday,
considering
it
was
the
one
day
this
year
that
it
got
cold
really,
so
we
it
went
surprisingly
well
considering
the
weather
that
day
and
then
we
made
a
few
little
few
changes
on
Sunday
kind
of
move
things
around
and
it
things
went
very
well.
Some
of
the
artists
did
great
didn't
know
you
could
spend
so
much
on
soap,
but.
F
B
C
Was
so
some
really
great
artists
there?
Everyone
who
participated?
It
was
a
lot
of
fun.
So,
yes,
hopefully
we'll
do
it
again
and
where
the
committee
is
planning
to
send
out
a
survey
to
all
the
artists
that
participated.
Just
a
quick.
You
know
five
questions
survey,
just
to
get
participant
feedback
to
see
how
they
felt
and
a
how
we
can
make
it
better
and
any
other
thoughts
that
people
want
to
share.
Thank.
C
Know
that
everyone-
and
you
have
to
say
people
who
spoke
to
me
at
the
event
whether
they
were
shopping
or
a
participant-
they
totally
commended
the
Commission
for
doing
this,
and
it's
like
wow
I've,
never
you've
never
seen
this
before.
This
is
great,
so
there
was
a
lot
of
positive
feedback
and
well
what
else
is
the
Commission
doing?
How
can
I
get
involved
in
more
Commission
activities?
What
else
are
you
doing?
So
it
definitely
generated
a
lot
of
questions
and
it
was
good
questions.
C
A
C
So
I
I
have
good
news,
so
I'm,
probably
not
as
good
as
we
want
to
hear,
but
good
news.
Nonetheless,
I
did
get
an
email
from
City
Attorney's
Office.
They
have
reached
out
to
John
Clement
the
artist
and
they're
working
with
him
and
they're
just
they're
still
moving
forward
and
trying
to
finalize
the
ownership
status
of
the
pieces.
So
I
will
continue
to
harass
the
City
Attorney's
staff
and
ask
them
where
they're
at
and
see
if
they
can't
continue
working
with
John
to
see.
B
A
B
B
Someone
that
it
would
make
a
bit,
we
could
do
three,
if
that,
if
everyone
can
make
it
four
okay
I
figured
because
that's
turned
out
to
be
a
good
time
for
these
notes
right,
and
it
will
be
brief
because
we
have
looks
like
we
have
two
things
to
you
know
and
we've
seen
the
mural
proposal
months
ago
so
and
we
will,
but
if
assuming
that
they
did
send
out
these
notices
to
the
neighbors,
we
will
have
met,
but
they
will
have
met
all
the
requirements.
It's
a
little.
