Do
we
have
any
correspondence?
Okay?
Well,
we're
just
rolling
right
along
okay.
This
is
the
fun
part.
No
not
really.
This
is
a
consent
calendar
and
week
we
can
dispense
with
the
two
items,
4a
and
4b,
with
with
one
motion,
or
we
can
pull
them.
If
somebody
wants
to
pull
them.
Do
I
have
a
motion.
I'll.
C
C
A
It's
unanimous
consent
calendar
is
accepted,
legislative
actions
sounds
official,
but
that's
where
you
guys
come
in,
and
these
are
the
vendor
applications
for
review
and
determination.
Each
each
prospective
vendor
has
five
minutes
to
present
his
or
her
product,
and
then
we
do
questions
and
fun
stuff.
So
the
first
one
is
GRE,
coffeehouse
and
art
gallery.
What
a
nice
combination.
E
A
Know
I
have
to
tell
you
what
why
you're
setting
up
I
had
to
attend
go
ahead.
You
can
just
put
them
right.
I
had
to
attend
a
board
of
administrative
appeals,
hearing
it
went
on
all
day
and
it's
a
board
like
hour,
so
they
don't
get
to
eat
anything
or
see
anything
all
they
get
to
do
is
vote
on
stuff
I.

Represent
brickworks
Bistro,
we
were
formerly
called
matchbox
until
late
last
year
when
we
changed
our
name,
but
we're
still
fanatical
about
pizza
and
we
are
a
downtown
merchants
operating
right
on
Palm,
Canyon
Drive
and
we
are
respectfully
seeking
permission
to
sell
slices
of
brickworks
pizza
from
a
booth
from
the
booth,
and
we
have
some
samples
for
you.
Oh

C
I
In
like
I
asked
the
great
coffee
and
not
that
it
really
matters,
because
it
depends
on
how
much
room
they
have
really
in
any
location.
But
have
you
thought
about
whether
it
would
be
best
suited
to
keep
you
near
your
restaurant
or
in
the
food
court
or
I
need
you?
Do
you
have
a
preference
which
really
it
only
matters
if
they
have
the
space
for
it?
Anyways,
but
just
for
sake
of
discussion.

F
All
right,
good
enough,
my
name
is
Bob
Ross
and
I
live
in
Cathedral
City,
and
it's
about
three
years
ago,
I
was
in
Avignon
France
and
in
the
in
the
garage
sales
out,
there
I
noticed
these
old
ugly
wine
corkscrews
that
were
actually
made
in
a
city
that
was
in
France.
That
was
their
principal
occupation
and
you
can't
sell
you
know
vintage
items
like
that
for
food
and
so
realizing
that
in
California
every
year
every
year
we
destroy
thirty
thousand
acres
worth
of
grapevines.
F
These
grapevines
would
be
pretty
darn
nice,
though
I
get
up
in
the
morning
about
daylight
load,
my
gas
power
to
air
compressor
in
my
truck
and
sift
some
sand
and
run
it
through
a
sand.
Blaster
and
I
clean
these
up
and
I
make
these
candle
displays
in
a
variety
of
configurations
and
conditions
of
these
I
will
take
and
have
larger
varieties,
but
engrave,
Napa
or
Santa
Barbara
or
whatever
you
would
choose.
F
I'm
trying
not
to
be
too
cheeky
with
it,
but
my
intention
is,
is
to
go
out
and
sell
as
much
of
the
stuff
as
I
can
I've.
Just
never
I've
done
a
couple
of
wine
shows
and
the
truth
is
they
drink
too
much
wine
at
those
places?
I'm
not
I.
Just
tell
you
clearly,
I,
don't
think
I've
had
the
major
success
because
they're
all
drunk.
B
F
I've
had
a
lot
of
good
feedback,
and,
and
what
I
really
intended
to
do
is
to
go
out
to
the
vineyards
and
get
them
to
save
or
retain
some
of
their
vines
on
their
sites
and
then
use
some
of
their
good
workers
that
are
on
overhead.
You
know
good
and
well
they're
on
overhead
a
bit
of
time
and
I
would
like
to
be
able
to
go
in
and
train
them
to
do
what
I
do
and
make
these
and
sell
them
in
their
own
gift
shops.
F
C
F
Actually,
it
starts
with
with
large
vines
that
that
look
like
this
they're
long.
This
is
this
is
what
where
I
start
at
essentially
I
cut
it
off
to
some
shape
some
length,
then
I
remove
the
bark
and
process
it.
You
probably
aren't
interested
in
this,
but
I
have
a
small
cement
mixer
that
I
took
the
paddles
out
of,
and
so
when
I
finished,
shaping
everything
up.
I
used
do
a
final
burnishing
with
that
prior
to
finishing
it.
If
I,
don't
like
it
that
humble
it's
more.
What.
F
Does-
and
this
is
this,
this
grapevine
here
is
table
grapevine-
that
the
whole
idea
behind
grapes
is
that
you
know,
let's
face
it,
they're,
just
an
organic
substance
and
and
and
actually
I've
gotten
to
known
quite
a
few
of
the
you
know
quite
a
few
of
the
workers
in
the
fields
and
they're,
pretty
talented
you
take
in
the
you
know,
you
hire
some
guy
that
doesn't
speak
much
English
pretty
soon.
He
can
take
care
of
your
pesticides
and
take
care
of
your
pruning.
F
He
trimmed
the
fruit
to
get
maximum
output
and-
and
they
understand
how
it
goes
so
a
couple
of
years
and
these
folks
making
pretty
good
money
and
and
they're
worth
every
dime,
because
that's
what
keeps
you
know,
keep
sticking
rolling
these
vines.
We
we
buy.
These
from
you
know,
stated
brothers
and
food
bless,
but
they
just
like
everybody,
everyone
else.
When
they
get
done
they,
don't
they
don't
prune
these
the
same
way,
of
course,
they're
for
the
vines
run,
wild
and
they're
pretty
attractive.
A
F
I
will
make
a
couple
of
changes,
I'm,
not
sure
I,
don't
intend
to
very
very
much
in
what
I
do.
The
only
thing
is
is
that
I
don't
want
to
use?
It
looks
okay
and
it's
inexpensive
enough,
but
I
want
to
use
live
edge,
woods
that
have
been
salvaged
from
the
forests
of
California
they're
a
little
more
expensive,
but
they
look
a
lot
better,
a
little
more
in
keeping
with
me
trying
to
be
organic.
F
A
F
C
F
Spoken
with
the
lady
at
kitchen
jams,
her
name
kitchen
kitchen,
lady
I'm,
gonna,
try
to
do
a
trunk
show
with
her,
and
you
know,
and
just
a
little
bit
I
look
at
some
of
these
and
my
prices.
You
know
I
I'm
not
trying
to
be
price
competitive
with
anybody.
I
could
probably
charge
a
little
more.
Maybe
I
might
if
I
get
some
feedback
a
little
less
I'll,
probably
charge
less.
That's.
Okay.
F
I
was
attention
intentionally
going
to
wholesale,
but
as
I've
looked
at
these
kinds
of
items
that
are
for
sale
on
the
internet,
I
I
would
probably
you
know
this.
This
stuff
is
it's
kind
of
new
to
me.
I
know
what
what
people
sell
people
sell.
Something
like
this
for
about.
300
bucks
I've
got
mine
priced
at
185,
because
I
think
that's
what
I
want
to
sell
it
at
and
unless
I
find
a
variety
of
customers
like
to
have
it
and
do
their
own
business
with
it.
A
I
A
F
F
As
they
as
the
grape
vines
grow
in
the
field
over
the
years,
they
have
a
life
expectancy
of
2025
years.
You'll
find
people
saying
these
are
fifty
or
hundred
years
old
and
they
are.
But
if
you
want
to
have
a
productive
vineyard
when
you're
buying
25
years
old,
they're
susceptible
to
plants,
pesticide
pestilence,
if.
H
F
F
B
B
A
A
Well,
Wow,
while
he's
doing
that,
we
can
go
on
to
unfinished
business
and
first
item
of
unfinished
business
is
rules
and
regulations.
K
A
K
A
Let
me
start
it
out
because
I'm
the
one
that
requested
it
it
all
started
from
I
mean
I've
been
wanting
to
bring
this
up
anyway,
but
some
lady
had
written
to
the
mayor
about
the
animals
out
there
and
it
was
really
really
hot
and
subsequent
to
that,
we
found
out
that
if
the
temperature
is
above
90
degrees,
the
animals
are
not
supposed
to
be
there.
So
there's
two
issues,
one
is,
if
that's
the
rule.
I
have
three
questions,
but
maybe
you
guys
can
help
me
with.
If
that's
the
rule,
why
were
the
animals
there
that.
B
B
A
K
K
K
K
A
The
fee
go
up
when
we
raised
everybody:
okay,
then
the
third
issue,
but
I
I,
don't
think
I'm
going
to
pursue
it
because
I
don't
think
I
have
the
support
on
the
board.
I
would
like
to
get
rid
of
the
animals
altogether.
I
think
I
think
it's
honky,
tonk
I,
don't
think
it
adds
to
the
credibility
of
village,
fest
and
I.
Think
it's
cruel,
but
that's
my
personal
okay,
that's
fine!
I.
E
E
A
H
With
both
sides
that
it
can
be
cruel
and
at
the
same
time
we
don't
know
all
the
details
of
how
the
animals
exactly
you
know
the
whole
picture,
but
how
many
days
in
Palm
Springs?
Is
it
under
90
degrees
at
5:00
or
6:00
o'clock?
And
so
what
at
what?
Time
is
the
time
that
it
is
judged?
Look
it's
90
degrees,
so
they
can't
come
out
at
all.
You
know
what
I'm
saying
somewhere
a
table.
K
G
A
I
A
No
I
I
agree
with
with
all
of
you,
here's
my
concern.
If,
if
it's
going
to
be
on
our
shoulders,
then
god
help
me
for
saying
this:
it
probably
should
be
in
the
rules
and
regulations
or
in
our
operating
procedures,
so
that
there
is
never
a
question
once
we're.
You
know
we're
gone.
The
next
board
won't
have
to
grapple
with
the
next
person.
The
complaints
that
and
I
think
it
demonstrates
to
our
public
that
were
sensitive
to
it
and
we've.
A
A
K
I
That's
why
you
would
have
that
second
possibility.
There
I
mean
I
talked
to
Roxy
about
this
because
of
the
city
policy
and
everything
so
I
know
how
she
feels
about
it.
But
but
I
represent
her
right.
That's
the
only
thing
I
mean
if
they
think
that
it's
okay
to
do
that,
then
you
know
they
just
follow
this
because
we're
not
changing
in.
A
A
E
And
I'll
hit
14
horses
where
we
do
breeding
horses
can
take
a
lot
of
temperature
because
of
their
coats
if
they
have
an
insulation
process.
So
a
horse
can
there's
stables
in
Chauncey,
Lane
and
I
mention
Raj,
there's
a
big,
stable
and
there's
a
hot
spring.
The
horses
are
outside
in
shade
and
they
continue
withhold
the
heat
as
long
as
there's,
probably
water
and
I
know
they
have
water
for
the
horses
here.
E
So
I
think
the
care
is
ok,
though
the
one
that
has
the
big
horses,
they're,
a
non-profit
and
it's
a
charity
to
help
support
at
the
horses
that
have
been
abandoned,
so
I
think
it's
a
great
cause
and
again
the
pony
rides
I.
Think
it's
just
opportunity
for
for
part
of
Old
West
that
was
part
of
Palm
Springs
for
a
kid
to
ride.
On
a
pony,
it's
never
been
on
a
pony
before
from
the
inner
city.
It's
a
great
experience
for
them.
So
I
think
what
we're
doing
is
following
the
policy
of
this
city.
C
E
C
D
So
I
had
understood
the
motion
that
paths
contained
the
following
three
actions:
one:
no
smoking
and
vendors
face
no
smoking
tent
signs
in
food
court
and
that
smoking
is
allowed
in
the
remaining
areas
of
village
fest,
including
street
and
sidewalks,
with
a
suggestion
not
just
smoked
by
posting
signs.
Well
after
last
month's
decision,
I
believe
that
the
third
action
is
really
misleading,
which.
A
D
If
that
item
number
is
reconsidering
the
actions
I,
don't
know
what
you're
considering
at
this
point,
but
I
really
do
believe
it
could
instigate
misunderstandings,
and/or
altercations
between
smoking
and
non-smoking
patrons
so
since
it
was
opened
up
here,
I
just
wanted
to
come
forward
with
a
little
extra
thoughts.
They
oh
thank.
B
A
A
There
was
a
gentleman
who
sent
something
out
on
the
internet
and
but
more
importantly,
I-
don't
really
care
as
much
about
that
as
I
care
about
how
we
articulate
what
our
policy
is.
I,
don't
care
what
somebody
else
says:
who's
not
on
this
board.
So
we
agreed
on
three
things.
We
agreed
that
we
were
going
to
request
or
require
that
our
vendors
not
smoke
in
their
booths
again.
I,
don't
see
that
as
a
problem,
but
it
could
be,
and
concurrent
with
that,
you
know
I
guess,
playing
catch-up.
K
B
H
We
appreciate
we're
in
a
positive
way
of
thanks
for
keeping
this
a
fun
family
event,
or
we
appreciate
you
visiting
our
art
or
whatever.
However,
we
would
say
it
really
Palm
Springs
style
wording
right,
but
with
a
thoughtful
reminder
of.
We
would
prefer
that
you're
not
smoking,
but
not
it's
not
undone
smoke
and
the
reason
that
we
came
up
with
that
idea
was
one
of
the
handouts
stated
from
the
American
Lung
Association,
two
different
approaches.
H
If
an
outdoor
event
was
looking
at
two
different
or
a
way
to
prevent
smoking
in
an
outdoor
venue
and
one
was
to
make
it
a
law
and
a
big
deal
and
misdemeanor
and
the
other
one
was
just
to
have
some
pleasant
signs,
soft
wording.
That
would
say
we
sure
would
appreciate
it.
If
you
didn't
that
kind
of
gentle
thoughtfulness.
H
D
A
A
H
K
A
So
for
follow-up,
the
soft
wording
and
a
couple
signs-
you
know
Tina
just
said
number
two:
unless
he
has
written
to
us,
I,
don't
really
care
to
communicate
with
him.
Okay,
I
really
don't
he's
entitled
to
put
out
there
and
that
the
moon
is
made
of
green
cheese.
I,
don't
care,
but
I
think
it's
important
that
we
get
our
message
out
and
we
can
either
do
that
with
a
press
release
or
just
with
our
practice.
K
But
view
so
that
we
have
that
will
also
utilize
that
as
a
communication
tool,
and
then
we
can
I'll
send
it
to
the
communications
director
to
see.
If
we
can
do
a
press
release,
we
could
put
it
up
on
our
website.
I
know
the
director
of
neighborhoods.
She
sends
out
a
weekly
notice
to
the
neighborhood
organizations.
We
can
use
that
as
well
to
just
communicate
exactly
what
this
board
has
done,
because
I
do
agree.
This,
the
the
infirm.
The
email
is
not
sent
directly
to
the
wards.

Up
that
one
in
particular,
would
you
like
to
see
a
non-smoking
policy
implemented
at
village
best?
Thirty-Nine
said
no
and
twenty
four
said
yes
and
then
there's
some
other
topics
that
other
people
brought
up,
but
thanks
faith
for
doing
that,
because
I
think
that's
what's
important,
we
can't
guess
what
other
people.

Just
wanted
to
report
that
the
turn
lane
between
Andreas
and
talked
with
will
be
shut
down
due
to
the
construction.
So
FIFA's
worked
on
trying
to
reconfigure
those
vendors
would
be
told
two
weeks
so
we're
hopeful
that
are
only
two
weeks
and
then
we
are
going
to
move
that
we
have
about
four
farmers
market
vendors
that
are
here
for
the
month
of
August.
We're
gonna,
move
them
off
of
chocolates
and
put
them
on
Tom
Canyon,
good.

We
just
want
to
kick
it
around
and
find
out
if
it's
even
feasible.
You
know
there
might
be
some
electrical
problems,
but
it's
really
bad
for
older
people,
especially
but
a
lot
of
these
younger
people.
If
you're
down
near
the
south
end-
and
you
want
to
get
a
nibble
and
it's
way
up
there-
you
may
not
be
able
to
or
want
to
walk
or
have
the
pet
with
you
or
whatever.
So
we
want
to
talk,
I
thought
you
were.

We
also
want
to
talk
about
ethics,
and
the
perception
just
because
we
can
accept
a
gift
doesn't
mean
we
should
accept
a
gift
and
it's
it's
gonna
come
up
again,
I
think
there's
a
difference
between
taking
a
bite
of
an
empanada
and
getting
a
$15.00
part,
pewter
heart
it
just
it's.
It's
the
the
optics
of
that
anyway.
