From YouTube: Airport Commission Meeting | May 18 2022
Description
The City of Palm Springs Airport Commission meeting, held May 18th, 2022
A
Good
evening,
everyone
and
thank
you
for
joining
the
may
18
2022
palm
springs
airport
commission
meeting
to
order,
and
I
would
like
john
payne
to
lead
us
to
for
the
pledge
of
allegiance.
John.
B
B
B
B
Was
commissioner
payne
welcome
great
hi
here?
Wait,
let
me
go
back.
I
think
I
passed
spielberg
again.
Can
I
share
philly?
Did
I
get
you
I'm
here?
Thank
you
and
we
got
commissioner
pike.
Commissioner
smith's
is
excused
commissioner
suero
here
wheel
here
and
wiseman
here.
Thank
you.
A
B
A
No
worries,
my
apologies.
Do
we
have
anyone
in
public
comments
christina
to
speak
today.
B
We
have
no
one
scheduled
for
public
comments,
we'll
give
it
a
moment
to
see
if
anyone
would
like
to
raise
their
hand
to
speak
at
this
time.
A
D
Chairman
dada,
I
believe,
justin
is
out
of
the
office
this
week,
so
he
will
not
be
attended.
A
B
B
Mr
gotta
could
that
I
assume
that
was
a
presentation
from
mr
barnett.
D
No
commissioner,
there
was
no
presentation.
We
had
discussion
items
where
I,
it
was
basically
a
question
and
answer
session
between
the
commissioners
and
myself.
B
When
the
minutes
are
approved,
they
will
be
uploaded
to
the
airport
website.
You
can
review
them.
Then.
B
F
F
It
beat
our
previous
record
set
in
2019
by
17
and
a
half
percent
surpassed
april
of
last
year
by
66
percent.
We
had
some
news
from
alaska
and
southwest
due
to
the
pilot
shortage.
If
you
guys
have
seen
that
in
news,
alaska's
had
to
suspend
portland
for
july
and
august
due
to
a
pilot
shortage,
was
released
previously
scheduled
to
operate
all
summer.
Long
currently
scheduled
to
return
on
september
11th
with
sunday
service,
then
moving
to
double
daily
service
on
october
6.
southwest.
F
Originally,
they
were
running
sacramento's
twice
dailies
when
they
started
that
they've
had
to
reduce
that
to
once
a
day
due
to
pilot
shortage
as
well,
and
so
there's
unclear
when
that's
going
to
return.
If
you
recall
from
the
previous
a
couple
months
ago,
I
announced
at
the
commission
meeting
that
southwest
was
going
to
take
las
vegas
to
twice
daily
starting
in
june,
that
has
been
delayed
by
one
month
to
july
through
the
pilot
short
as
well,
so
that
will
be
starting
up
with
twice
daily
service
in
july.
F
So
for
the
summer
we
were
originally
scheduled
to
have
16
non-stop
routes
operating
for
the
summer
and
I
believe
nine
airlines
with
the
legion,
as
I
told
you
guys,
at
the
last
meeting
with
them
pulling
down
bellingham
for
the
month,
also
due
to
pilot
shortage
and
then
suspension
of
portland
will
be
down
to
what
14
routes
operating
throughout
the
summer
and
then
eight
airlines,
but
still
more
than
2019.
We
had
10
routes
operating
summer,
2019
and
six
airlines
at
that
time.
F
We're
also
not
the
only
airport
going
through
this
there's
several
airports
across
the
country
they're
having
service
reductions
because
of
the
pilot
shortage
I
saw
today,
jeff
blue
announced
it
was
yesterday,
20
routes
being
suspended
due
to
crew
staffing
issues
and
fort
lauderdale
was
the
main.
I
guess
he
would
say
winner
of
that
reduction.
F
So
definitely
we're
not
alone,
and
this
is
impacting
airports
across
the
country.
But
for
some
positive
news,
our
scheduled
seats
are
still
up
scheduled
to
be
up
quite
a
bit
compared
to
previous
years
june
is
currently
scheduled
to
be
18.6.
Higher
than
june
of
21.
F
july
is
12.6
more
available
seats
than
july
of
21
august
18
and
a
half
percent
more
than
21,
and
that
september
is
scheduled
to
have
22.7
more
seats
than
september
2021,
so
going
into
the
summer.
We're
still
looking
pretty
good
are
really
good.
I
would
assume
actually
compared
to
previous
summers.
I
know
july.
I
think
it's
like
an
80
increase
or
whatever
ever
2019,
so
definitely
have
some
great
capacity,
and
this
is
scheduled,
total
seats.
F
So
take
the
number
you
see
on
the
screen
divide
that
by
two
and
I'll
give
you
the
number
of
inbound
seats
and
the
number
of
outbound
seats,
if
you're
curious
for
that,
so
hopefully
it'll
translate
into
more
business.
These
tours
coming
into
town
for
local
business
of
summer
plus
more
options
for
the
locals
to
get
out
and
escape
the
heat
for
those
of
you.
If
you
don't,
I
think
for
sure
we
talked
about
this.
F
The
last
commission,
maybe
two
commissionings
ago
swoop,
is
going
to
be
operating
their
edmonton
service
all
year
round,
typically
edmonton's
only
a
seasonal
route.
For
us,
it's
been
operated
by
westjet,
but
this
year
sloop
one
of
our
new
airlines
is
going
to
operate
on
saturday
service.
So
when
it
hits
115,
you
can
jump
on
them
and
fly
to
canada
if
you'd
like
next
up.
So
at
the
last
commission
meeting,
I
I
mentioned
the
advertising
rfp,
the
rfe
has
closed
and
wedding
proposal
was
selected.
F
G
Daniel
before
you
go
on
yes,
this
is
scott
miller
hi.
I
just
wanted
to
make
sure
I
don't
think
the
pilot
shortage
is
going
to
abate
anytime
in
the
near
future,
and
I
just
happen
to
know
that
southwest
has
only
announced
its
first
kind
of
tranche
of
schedule,
changes
and
I
think,
there's
more
that's
going
to
be
coming.
G
F
No
but
you're
first
you're,
not
I'm
not
saying
no,
that
question
pilot
shortage
and
you're
correct.
It's
not
gonna,
be
going
away
anytime
soon,
there's
some
different
avenues.
Airlines
are
currently
advocating
for
some
are
trying
to
get
currently
up
to
1500
hours,
to
get
your
atp
and
start
flying
they're
going
to
revert
back
to
getting
up
to
750
hours
to
get
in
the
the
right
seat
for
the
first
officer,
which
would
be
going
back
to
rules
that
previously
were
in
place,
which
would
allow
more
pilots
to
get
in.
F
Some
airlines
are
also
reaching
out
to
pilots
that
had
taken
early
retirement,
but
are
still
qualified
by
age
limits
to
allow
to
fly
because
currently
at
age
65,
it's
a
mandatory
retirement
requirement
for
the
faa
and
so
they're
trying
to
get
some
that
took
early
retirement
during
kovitch
and
see
they'll
come
back
and
fly
a
few
more
years,
but
yeah
in
southwest.
They
send
the
update
and
schedules
we
have
currently
from
them.
F
We're
not
expecting
any
changes
right
now,
because
they
assume
updates
are
published
through
november,
so
at
least
through,
then
we
should
be
pretty
good
now.
That
said,
other
things
could
come
up.
Maybe
they
could
make
a
change
again,
but
it's
still
even
with
these
reductions
in
we're
still
scheduled
to
be
quiet
up
quite
a
bit,
as
you
saw
in
the
previous
chart,
in
our
scheduled
seats
and
our
flights
as
well.
A
number
of
airlines
so
from
a
financial
perspective
and
victoria
can
speak
more
to
it.
G
Okay,
okay,
I
appreciate
the
consideration
you
want.
B
H
H
It's
been
a
very
different
year
than
prior
years,
and
it's
always
been
historically
that
the
summer
months
are
our
lower
time
of
the
year,
where
we're
receiving
revenue
like
the
lowest
amount
of
revenue
for
the
year,
and
then,
of
course,
we
start
picking
back
up,
as
the
season
comes
in
probably
like
october
is
when
we
start
seeing
our
revenues
increase,
going
all
the
way
up
and
start
increasing
until
we
hit
our
peak
in
in
march,
and
then
it
starts
shouldering
off
again
and
revenues
start
dying
down
again.
H
So
you
know,
we've
definitely
projected
that
we
always
keep
that
going
every
single
time
we
do
our
budget
and
so
the
pilot
shortages,
not
so
much
of
a
concern
like
daniel
said
our
operations
are
going
to
be
higher
than
what
we
had
last
year.
Once
we
get
to
the
financials
you'll,
see
that
we've
been
doing
really
really
well
and
you've,
probably
already
seen
it
in
the
packet
that
you
got
there
and
then
like.
We
mentioned
before
we
have
that
grant
money.
That's
helped
us
like
the
carriage
grant,
the
arpa
the
krisa
grant.
G
Okay,
I'm
just
yeah,
I
mean,
unfortunately,
in
los
angeles
county,
the
cases
are
rising
again,
I
don't
know
about
riverside
county,
and
so
a
lot
of
places
are
starting
to
reinstitute,
masks
and
also
changes
in
scheduling
and
things
of
that
nature.
So
hopefully
I'm
sure
the
airport
staff's
keeping
on
top
of
that,
especially
for
riverside
county,
and
that
you
know
being
aware
that,
unfortunately,
things
might
get
worse
before
it
gets
better.
So
that's
all
just
as
a
you
know,
just
a
thought.
So
thank
you.
E
A
follow-up
daniel
in
victoria,
could
you
go
back
to
the
I
think
total
seat
slide,
maybe
one
or
two
back.
E
F
E
So
both
outbound
and
inbound
to
palm
springs.
Yes
seats.
Yeah
got
it.
Is
it
impossible
or
very
difficult
to
do
inbound
versus
outbound?
So
you
could
see
the
distinction.
F
No,
I
could
do
my
future
previous
ones.
Commission
means
I
did
in
payments,
that's
always
kind
of
how
I've
been
programmed
to
think
of
an
airport,
and
this
my
switch
is
a
total
seat.
So
if
you
want
to
do
total
or
just
inbound
outbound
literally
just
divided
by
two,
but
I
can
do
deep
or
departing
seats
or
arriving
seats
or
whatever
you
want
to
do.
E
If
it's
easy
to
do,
it'd
be
great
and
then
victoria
as
we
lose
a
flight,
I'm
curious,
would
it
be
really
hard
to
determine
the
financial
impact
of
a
per
flight
loss?
Is
it
not
worth
the
effort
or
is
that
something
that
without
doing
a
headstand
could
be
provided.
H
And
daniel
I
may
even
kind
of
lean
on
you
on
that
one.
Since
you,
you
know:
we've
kind
of
developed
cost
sheets.
Whenever
airlines
come
in,
we
we
do
an
analysis
on
what
we're
expecting
an
airline
to
to
provide
to
us
during
the
course
of
a
year,
or
mostly
during
the
course
of
a
month,
and
then
we
of
course
calculate
that
out
throughout
the
course
of
the
year.
So
if
we
were
to
lose
an
airline,
that
is
something
that
of
course,
yeah
we'll
have
some
reduction
in
revenue.
H
But
the
great
thing
is
that
we,
you
know,
and,
as
you
all
know,
we've
always
kind
of
been
at
capacity
for
for
a
little
bit
of
everything
because
of
our
facilities.
So
I'm
sure
there
would
be
another
airline
that
would
come
and
swoop
up
some
area
like
terminal
rent.
They
would
take
that
they'd
probably
take
ticket
counter
space,
so
we'd
probably
be
able
to
make
it
up
make
up
for
it
with
other
airlines
and
reach
out
to
our
existing
airlines.
E
I
think
you're
right.
My
question
was
more
a
granular
how
difficult
on
a
per-flight
basis
so
as
daniel
presented
alaska
southwest
airlines
are
dropping
flights
due
to
some
problem.
In
this
case,
it's
going
to
be
pilot
shortages,
I'm
curious.
How
difficult
would
it
be
to
on
a
per
flight
basis
during
a
period
of
time
to
know
what
financial
impact
that
is?
Is
that
too
granular
to
really
give
a
good
number
to,
or
is
that
something
that
would
be
possible
without
too
much
work.
H
Yeah
no
and
we've
mostly
calculated
based
on
the
flight
operations
kind
of
like
the
the
total
seats
that
you're
seeing
here
or
the
operations,
the
increase
in
operations
and
just
honestly
forecasting
so
it'd,
probably
be
a
little
bit
of
it'll,
be
like
a
tedious
task
to
go
through.
When
we're.
H
F
Not
I
will
go
on,
let's
see
here,
okay,
so
back
to
the
advertising
rfe,
so
yeah
that
one
too,
we
didn't
have
much
enough
time
between
when
the
proposal
was
selected
to
get
everything
ready
for
it
to
be
on
this
tone.
Tonight's
agenda,
so
we'll
bring
that
to
you
on
the
june
15th
commission
meeting
agenda
and
that's
okay,
because
we'll
have
it
right
to
if
you
guys
approve
it.
F
We
have
we'll
have
a
schedule
to
be
on
the
june
16th
council
agenda
as
well
and
then
we'll
be
able
to
get
started
in
time
with
them
for
the
new
fiscal
year,
which
was
the
timing
for
it
anyway.
So
it
won't
put
us
behind
schedule
now
the
new
brand
and
website,
if
you
are,
if
you
guys,
remember
last
commission
meeting,
I
discussed
this
and
just
developed
a
new
brand
for
that.
Well,
the
first
ever
brand
for
the
webs
or
for
the
airport
and
a
new
website
to
come.
F
Along
with
this,
I'm
excited
to
say
we
had
nine
companies
submit
proposals,
which
was
a
pretty
good,
showing
that
we
felt
the
procurement
was
happy
with
the
number
of
responses
that
we
got.
It
aviatrix
communications
was
the
winning
proposer.
They
had
previous
work
experience
with
psp
they've
done
our
marketing
communications
plan,
our
crisis
communications
plan,
the
crisis
comms
plan
is
actually
in
progress.
It
should
wrap
up
in
the
next
one
or
two
weeks.
F
F
So
they
also
have
great
experience
in
all
areas
needed
for
this
brand
and
a
new
website,
great
recommendations
where
all
their
recommendations
were
glowing
practically
from
everybody
that
came
in
they're,
based
in
san
diego,
very
familiar
with
coachella
valley.
I
think
one
of
their
staff
has
a
second
home
here.
They
have
family
here,
they've,
actually
in
the
palm
springs
in
the
coachella
valley
area.
Quite
a
bit,
they're
very
familiar
with
us
and
they've
done
a
lot
of
similar
work.
They've
developed
website
services
for
over
20
years
for
20
airports.
F
Some
of
the
examples
are
san,
diego
san
jose,
oakland,
san
luis
obispo,
a
little
airport,
unseen,
alaska
and
then
columbia
south
carolina.
So
they
run
the
gamut
from
large
airport
to
small
airports.
They
definitely
have
experience
with
airports
of
all
sizes.
They
provided
brand
development
services
to
11
airports
over
their
time.
F
Other
examples
of
those
are
san,
diego
new
orleans,
san
jose
oakland,
idaho,
falls
and
mid-america
st
louis
airport,
if
you're
not
familiar
with
mid-america
st
louis
airport,
it's
actually
on
the
illinois
side
of
the
st
louis
metro
area,
very
small
airport,
and
it
really
just
has
only
a
legion
there,
but
they
definitely
again
just
experience
in
working
with
large
airports
to
small
airports,
and
so
they
really
think
they'll
do
a
very
one,
a
very
good
job
for
us,
daniel.
F
G
Okay,
all
right,
thank
you.
You're
welcome.
E
Quick
question,
usually,
when
you've
got
a
firm
that
does
the
master
kind
of
what
you
need
to
do
where
to
go
I'll
call
it
a
strategy
for
lack
of
a
better
term.
They
usually
are
conflicted
out
of
subsequent
bids
because
they
know
too
much.
It's
not
competitively
fair.
F
I'm
not
aware
of
being
concerned
at
all
these
all
went
through
the
city
procurement
process
and
they
vetted
all
these
and
to
determine
who
was
eligible,
and
so
they
met
all
the
requirements
for
procurement
to
be
able
to
propose.
So
that
probably
were
a
question
for
city
procurement,
because
tomorrow
my
knowledge,
it
wasn't
a
problem.
D
Yeah
I
do
know
what
you're
talking
about
as
daniel
mentioned
the
procurement
manager.
She
she
reviewed
all
of
these.
She
was
on
board
with
it,
so
there
apparently
was
no
conflict
that
she
could
identify
that
was
problematic
for
us.
Okay,
thank
you.
F
Okay,
so
they've
got
great
experience
in
doing
websites
and
developing
brands
for
airports,
some
new
so
coming
to
the
website,
so
they'll
bring
some
great
new
features
to
us.
Sorry,
my
radio's
going
off
you.
B
F
The
background
turn
that
off
real
fast,
so
new
website
has
some
exciting
new
features
when
we're
getting
an
interactive
terminal
maps,
interactive
route
maps,
the
options
on
the
route
map,
so
we'll
be
reviewing
some
of
them.
We
might
actually
be
able
to
set
it
up
if
we
choose
to
do
so
where
people
can
go
into
our
website,
if
you
put
in
where
they
were
where
they
from
palm
springs,
where
they
want
to
go
and
pull
up
sample
fares,
you
might
be
actually
able
to
shop
for
fares
on
our
website.
F
I'm
gonna
put
in
tsa
checkpoint,
wait
times
and
I'll
actually
be
able
to
average
out
and
show
you
the
time
of
day
when
it's
the
busiest.
I
know
it's
by
the
hour.
I
think
it
actually
breaks
it
down
maybe
to
every
15
or
a
half
hour,
but
we'll
learn
more
about
that
as
we
go
to
implement
it.
Several
airports
around
the
country
do
have
that,
so
I'm
excited
to
bring
that
here.
One
very
important
point,
important
point
for
us
was
to
have
multiple
languages.
F
Well,
really
for
us,
we
want
to
make
sure
we
had
a
focus
on
english
and
spanish.
That's
also
a
focus
of
the
city
of
palm
springs.
The
city
council
is
to
improve
communications
and
and
and
put
everything,
have
everything
in
dual
language,
english
and
spanish
as
well.
So
this
will
align
with
the
city
council's
objectives
on
that
front,
but
also
with
this
per
company.
It
wasn't
just
the
two
languages:
they're
gonna
they've
had
the
ability
to
make
it
a
click.
I
guess
it's
a
widget.
F
They
install
multiple
languages,
I
think
up
to
like
70
different
languages
or
something
like
that,
so
make
it
really
accessible
to
a
lot
of
various
people.
We
can
include
social
media
streams
on
the
website.
It's
also
a
course
will
bring
us
up
to
speed
on
everything
with
ada
and
privacy
regulation
laws.
Work
is
set
to
begin
as
soon
as
possible
following
city
council
approval,
which
will
be
we
plan
to
have
this.
F
If
you
guys
approve
tonight,
plan
to
have
this
on
the
may
26
council
agenda
further
proposals,
they'll
take
about
four
months
to
complete
commission
and
various
community
groups
will
be
involved
as
needed,
so
we're
gonna,
because
this
is
again,
this
is
a
brand
for
the
airport.
That's
not
just
palm
springs,
it's
the
entire
coachella
valley
right
and
a
lot
of
people.
There's
a
lot
of
stakeholders
that
really
care
about
our
airport,
so
we're
going
to
bring
in
the
commission.
F
People
from
you
know,
visit
greater
palm
springs,
people
from
down
valley,
the
purely
just
our
community
partners-
maybe
it's
chambers
of
commerce,
just
getting
people
around
seeing
okay
to
feel
like
how
we
want
to
put
this
brand
together.
How
do
we
want
to
develop
our
mission,
vision,
values
and
all
that
who
are
we
going
to
be
when
we
grow
up?
I
guess
if
you
kind
of
want
to
say
that
way,.
G
G
So
is
there
going
to
be
enhanced
features
on
the
website,
for
maybe
like
the
bus,
sun
bus
service
like
local
taxi
cabs,
like
uber,
like
lyft,
and
even
even
maybe
now
I
forget,
oh
amtrak,
because
they
do
have
a
stop
in
palm
springs
and
india
actually
and
and
things
of
that
nature.
So
is
there
to
be
an
emphasis
placed
on
those
as
well.
F
So,
on
the
current
website,
we
have
a
section
for
all
types
of
ground
transportation
currently
available
here,
so
that
will
definitely
be
included
in
there.
I'm
not
too
familiar
with
what
the
idea
of
a
transportation
hub
will
be,
but
definitely
we
can
take
that
consideration
and
see
how
we
can
integrate
that
into
this.
G
Okay,
because
I
think
it
would
be
great
if,
if
somehow
we
can
put,
if
there's
a
way
to
have
a
two-way
and
I'm
not
a
web
designer,
this
is
probably
more
john's
a
area
than
mine,
but
you
know
it
would
be
great
to
be
able
to
have
interaction.
So
if
someone
says
well,
I
want
to
be
able
to
take
the
sun
bust
from
this
point
to
this
point.
If
there
was
an
interaction
to
what
the
schedules
were
from
there,
if
there's
interactions
of,
they
want
to
call
a
lift.
F
Oh
okay,
I
think
I've
followed
you're
saying
now
that
could
be
interesting.
I
don't
know
like
how
I
mean
I'm
not
sure
how
that
would
work.
We
can
definitely
take
that
information
and
we'll
sit
down
with
them
and
kind
of
explain
what
the
goals
were
and
see.
Is
there
a
way
to
integrate
it?
Have
other
airports
done
this
before?
I
remember
I
think
harry's
mentioned
to
me.
Actually.
F
I
know
he
mentioned
to
me
about
the
idea
of
doing
a
multimodal
transportation
hub
and
I
think
that
did
that
involve
like
a
construction
or
something
I'm
not
super
familiar
with
that
particular
one.
But
no.
We
can
definitely
take
all
the
the
details.
You
guys
put
into
that
and
take
it
to
them
and
say
like:
can
this
be
integrated?
How
can
we
do
it?
You
know
maybe
some.
What
have
you
seen?
Other
airports
do.
G
Yeah,
that
would
be
really
great
because
again
I
I
really
think
we
want
to
make
the
airport
not
only
great
for
air
travel,
but
also
great
as
the
as
the
coachella
valley's
transportation
hub.
B
G
F
That
actually
reminds
me
from
on
sun
bus
scott.
That
reminds
me
so
I
noticed
we
were
actually
social
medias
on
twitter.
This
is
a
few
months
ago.
Ulysses
was
still
here.
Actually,
there
was
a
comment
and
it's
some
person,
that's
there's
some
sort
of
traveler
and
they
always
take.
I
guess
public
transport
to
the
airports
or
something
anyhow,
and
they
made
a
comment
at
the
airport
bus
station
put
a
photo
with
it.
The
bus
stop
wasn't
actually
at
the
airport.
F
It
was
like
some
comment
along
lines:
up
community
wants
you
to
use,
you
know
public
transportation,
but
yet
they
put
the
stop
a
long
ways
away
and
it
showed
a
photo
of
it.
It
was
down
past
city
hall,
when
I
saw
that
I
reached
out
to
some
line,
transit,
say
hey,
how
can
we
work
with
you
guys?
Can
we
get
to
where
you
guys
pull
up
to
the
terminal
for
a
stop
like
amtrak
does,
instead
of
you
know,
dropping
on
the
curve?
F
They
did
some
sort
of
analysis
and
something
about
the
concerns
with
the
traffic
flows
on
airport
roadways.
That
would
throw
them
off
schedule
and
the
proposal
was
to
put
another
stop
on
el
cielo
right
in
front
of
our
entrance
right
there
and
then,
but
then
pass
the
cost
off
to
us
to
build
the
whole
bus,
stop
and
everything
when
I
really
just
want
them
to
just
to
pull
on
airport
road
and
just
drop
off
the
terminal
pickup
and
then
be
on
their
way.
F
If
you
have
any
contacts
at
sunlight,
so
we
can
maybe
work
with
them
a
bit
more
and
try
and
figure
out,
like
you
know,
front
door
service.
I
think
it'd
be
great.
I
just
don't
really
know
anybody
over
there.
So
if
any
of
y'all
know
anybody
it's
online,
please,
let's.
G
You
john
and
there's
also
federal
grants
you
can
get
federal
grants
for
the
bus,
stop
federal
grants
for
the
routing
and
also,
I
think
covet
funds
could
maybe
be
used
for
that
as
well.
So
I
think
he
got
a
lot
of
resources
and
john's,
probably
a
good
guy
to
contact.
I
used
to
know
the
general
manager
of
sunbust,
but
they've
retired.
F
Okay,
yeah
lydia's
speaking
to
they
had
some
sort
of
analysis,
and
she
says
this
is
what
they
thought
be
the
best
option.
So,
and
maybe
that
really
is
I'm
not
an
expert
in
that
area,
but
it
just
seems
kind
of
just
from
a
passenger
service
perspective.
It
just
might
be
it's
more
convenient
to
be
at
the
terminal
doors
versus
down
the
street
and
walking
up.
You
know
so.
F
Can
send
you
the
email
that
sunlight
sent
me
with
their
analysis?
If
you'd
like
to
look
at
that.
E
Yes,
please
that'd,
be
that
would
be
great
and
to
scott's
point
a
lot
of
efforts.
Do
this,
where
they
tell
you
how
to
get
to
the
airport
and
how
to
get
from
the
airport
to
some
major
event,
for
example
like
a
lakers
game
or
sofi
stadium,
it's
not
it's
not
across
the
entire
area,
but
they
do
try
to
point
you
in
a
way
to
utilize
a
public,
transit
and
low
carbon
transit.
So
that'd
be
something
yeah
we
could
look
at,
and
the
good
news
is
a
lot
of
that's
already
available.
G
G
I
mean
you
know
I
can
get
the
casinos
involved
with
this,
because
you
know
they'll.
They
really
want
to
get
involved
in
bringing
people
to
the
casinos
and
the
new
stadium.
That
they're
building
might
also
be
an
impact
for
the
airport,
bringing
people
to
the
airport
to
go
to
whatever
ice
hockey.
Ice
hockey
in
the
desert
is
kind
of
a
weird
thing
to
me,
but
be
that
as
it
may,
you
know
that
that
might
be
also
not
a
a
great
opportunity,
so
I
think
we
could
really
make
this
go.
G
F
Surfing
is
too
scott,
okay
cool,
so
we
got
some
new
projects
coming
on
great
love.
It,
oh
something
else
I
didn't
put
on
here
about
the
website
too.
We're
right
we're
gonna
have
a
chat
feature
put
in,
so
people
can
just
chat
with
us.
Other
things
going
on.
Have
questions
we're
not
gonna
manage
24
hours
to
start.
I
don't
know
if
they'll
have
a
message,
if
they
send
us
a
chat,
they
can
leave
a
message
like
you're.
You
know
making
a
phone
call
and
put
their
information
for
callback.
F
E
F
F
Yep,
actually
so
we
do
have
that
functionality
we
recently,
I
should
put
this
in
here.
We
recently
added
that
functionality
to
our
website
for
a
form
to
fill
out.
So
now,
people
previously
was
a
contact
page
just
had
a
phone
number.
Now
they
got
the
main
contact
page
that
has
like
I
put
on
there.
I
was
making
changes
I
put
on
there,
questions
about
noise
click.
Here
you
follow
a
link.
It
takes
you
to
a
noise
page.
We
can
view
all
the
different
things
on
noise
and
how
it
works.
F
Whoever
sees
things
you
know,
what
do
we
have
control
over?
What's
faa
etc,
and
at
the
bottom
of
it
we
have
a
new
form.
You
click
it
and
it's
now,
instead
of
calling
now
people
just
they
fill
out
a
noise
complaint
form,
and
it's
better
this
way,
because
it
prompts
it
to
give
us
more
information
than
maybe
they
would
think
to
give
us.
So
I
ask
you,
of
course
their
name.
Their
address
contact
information,
then
also,
you
know
it
has
on
there
well,
what
time
of
day?
What's
the
date?
Do
you
know
what
is
it?
F
It's
a
prop
plane,
a
jet
plane.
Did
it
have
two
props
one
prop
was
it
taking
off?
Was
it
landing?
Was
it
in
transit?
So
it's
collecting
a
lot
more
information
for
our
staff
that
can
look
at
it
and
be
able
to
respond
to
it.
It
also
includes
a
mapping
function,
so
our
staff
on
the
back
end
when
they
put
the
address
and
they
click
map
it.
They
can
pull
up
on
the
map
and
they
will
be
able
to
see
where
that
person's
house
is
to
see
where
the
plane
could
have
been
transiting.
F
So
we
have
that
and
we'll
roll
that
in
some
other
options
are
going
to
come
with
this
new
website
development.
That
aviatrix
has
partnerships
with
the
third
party
companies.
It's
one
called
plane
noise
and
I
just
learned
about
some
kind
of
figuring
it
out
young.
If
you've
heard
about
it,
it's
but
some
sort
of
really
robust
noise
tracking
software
people
can
log
in
and
fill
out
information,
and
it
will
get
you
like
heat
maps
with
like
noise,
sensitive
areas.
I'm
don't
quote
me
on
that.
F
I'm
still
learning
about
it,
but
it
sounds
like
it
could
be
optional.
A
pretty
good
tool,
another
one
we
can
link
into
is
called
air
nav
radar
box
and
san
diego
uses
this
because
they're
they're
in
a
because
their
airport.
If
you're
familiar
it's
right
in
downtown
a
pretty
they're
a
lot
of
sensitive
to
noise
as
well
like
similar
to
us,
they've
built
up
and
they
use
this
one
and
there's
you
can
log
on
for
free
and
just
look
at
it.
F
Anybody
can,
but
if
you
use
it
and
work
with
them,
it'll
actually
color
planes,
one
one
color,
that's
flying
into
san
diego,
a
different
color,
it's
a
departing
flight
and
another
color.
If
it's
just
transiting
across
so
people
can
go
in
and
see
well
that
plane's
here
at
my
house,
they're
on
our
website,
you
can
click
on
the
plane
and
see
what
airline
the
tail
number
where
it's
going.
Is
it
going
to
palm
springs
from
palm
springs,
or
maybe
it's
just
flying
over
us
and
going
to
denver
and
that's
something
else.
We
can
incorporate.
F
So,
there's
really
just
a
lot
of
options
for
us
to
go
through
and
when
we
get
to
that
point
of
the
website,
I
want
to
work
with
our
ops
teams
and
maintenance
teams
like
because
that
we
know
what
they're
doing
with
and
what
they're
responding
to
noise
and
things
like
that.
What
would
be
useful
to
them?
You
guys
are
hearing
from
the
community.
What
do
you
think
would
be
good
for
a
community
aspect?
F
G
And
the
holy
grail
would
be
when
we
get
baggage
claim
times
on
the
website,
that
that
that'll
be
the
holy
grail.
F
On
baggage
information-
I'll-
let
harry
talk
to
that
later,
but
I
will
say
I
also
added
on
the
website.
Another
way
for
for
us
to
get
more
information
from
the
from
our
customers
is
a
comment
form
on
their
question.
Comment
concern
it's
on
the
contact
page.
If
you
guys
want
to
look
at
it
and
they
can
fill
in
different
things,
their
name
contact
information.
F
What
happened,
and
it
has
information
on
you
know
if
you're
flying
what
airlines
somebody
helped
you,
what
name
and
what
time
of
day
things
happened,
and
somebody
filled
a
comment.
They
actually
gave
us
a
compliment
on
our
inbound
baggage
delivery
service,
saying
that
they,
since
they've,
been
flying
lately.
They've
noticed
it's
taken
less
time
to
get
their
bag
after
they
off
the
plane
than
before.
I've
only
got
one
so
far,
but
it's
one
step
one
in
the
right
direction.
E
I'm
sorry
daniel
one
more
on
noise.
Briefly,
does
it
make
sense,
and
maybe
this
is
a
hairy
question?
Does
it
make
sense?
Have
you
looked
at
noise
microphones
in
problematic
areas,
it
seems
like
they
come
from
the
north
of
town,
but
wherever
the
problem
areas
are
where
you're
getting
noise
complaints,
any
any
thought
to
put
microphones
in
place
on
poles.
F
Probably
a
hairy
question,
I
don't
say
with
the
sue
software
and
what
we're
doing
now,
where
we
can
map
it
and
track
it
and
it
downloads
them
to
excel.
So
we
can
easily
sort
it
and
track
trends,
so
we
could
actually
identify
areas
of
town
where
we
get
more
complaints,
and
then
I
don't
know
if
the
microphones-
that's
probably
harry
potter,
knows
more
about
that
than
I
do,
but
it
can
help
us
with
the
mapping
tool.
Look
at
where
we
might
want
to
consider
that
if
that's
somewhere,
we
have
to
go
in
the
future.
D
Yeah,
I
can
speak
more
to
that.
So
typically,
so
we
we
have
looked
at
in
the
past
short
answer.
Typically,
those
programs
and
the
equipment
associated
with
those
programs
are
prohibitively
expensive
unless
you
are
a
large
airport
with
a
lot
of
air
traffic
and
it's
not
to
say
that
people
aren't
bothered
by
noise
here
at
palm
springs.
Obviously,
it's
an
issue,
and
it's
obviously
something
that
we,
you
know
continue
to
watch
and
monitor,
but
we
don't
receive
a
lot
of
complaints
that
would
necessarily
justify
the
microphones.
D
Now,
there's
not
to
say
there
aren't
programs
that
we
can
put
in
place
similar
to
what
daniel
mentioned,
but
those
would
be
incredibly
expensive.
F
F
If
we
want
to
do
it,
but
I
think,
with
this
new
one
in
the
mapping
tool
we'll
be
able
to
track
on
our
own
and
really
see
trends
going
from
there
that
decide
what
we
need
to
do,
but
definitely
I
want
us
to
explore
them
and
see
if
we
can
and
see
where
we're
going
to
go
with
it.
So
it's
just
going
to
be.
I'm
just
excited
it's
going
to
be
really
robust
capability
with
this
new
website
we're
going
to
get
so.
F
F
Let's
see,
as
I
said,
I
want
to
make
a
lot
of.
I
want
our
our
staff
and
our
employees
involved
on
that
in
this,
so
they
can
feel
like
they're,
really
part
of
this
and
and
part
of
you
know
the
airport
they
work
at.
I
want
you
guys
to
be
part
of
it.
I
want
to
bring
in
other
community
groups
that
are
stakeholders
important.
You
know,
because
it's
a
it
affects
the
airport
affects
all
different
people.
It's
pretty
important
to
us.
So
I
want
a
lot
of
involvement.
F
Project
cost
is
a
hundred
and
forty
nine
thousand
dollars.
This
is
actually
they
were
the
end
of
being
the
lowest
bidder
coming
in
right,
just
a
little
bit
above
above
budget,
I
originally
was
planning
for
about
110
to
120,
so
a
little
bit
more
than
I
thought,
but
I
still
have
funds
within
my
budget,
so
we
can
make
it
work
some
of
the
other
bids
we
had
the
highest
one.
F
I
had
we
had,
I
think,
was
like
seven
or
eight
hundred
thousand
dollars,
so
they
kind
of
all
over
the
place,
but
most
of
them
were
right
around
where
this
area
was
anywhere
from
149
to
maybe
the
mid
200s
with
a
couple
of
outliers
that
were
really
high.
So
I
felt
like
I
mentioned:
we
have
funds
available
in
my
budget.
We
recommend
approval
and
when
the
completion
of
this
goal,
1
of
that
marketing
communications
plan
will
be
complete,
any
questions
is
it.
G
F
Oh
yeah,
definitely
so
they'll
build
up
so
right
now
the
current
website's
built
at
palm
springs
airport.com.
So,
even
though
I
advertise
flyphp.com
and
I
stay
at
their
web
address
when
you
type
it
in
and
redirects
to
palm
springs
airport.com.
This
is
going
to
be
housed
on
flypsp.com.
So
definitely
we
can
build
it.
We
can
get
it
live
and
send
out
links
where
only
people
with
a
link
can
view
it
and
then
once
we
all
go
through
it
we'll
make
sure
we'll
vet.
It
make
sure
it's
all
good.
You
know
more
eyes
on.
F
It
is
better
than
less
because
you
know
you
guys
might
see
something
that
I
won't
see.
Maybe
because
I
see
something
every
day
you
know
so
yeah
yeah
absolutely
we'll
be
able
to
throw
that
out
to
you
guys
and
just
basically
we
can
take
it
for
a
test
drive
before
we
go
public
with
it.
G
B
Yes,
please!
Yes,
what
the
budget
149
000
is
that
a
yearly
contract
and
if
the
yearly,
how
long
is
the
contract
for.
F
That's
a
one-time
spend
for
the
development
of
both
and
that
incl
it
comes
with
one
year
of
website
maintenance
for
us
and
then,
after
that,
we
can
go
on
contract
with
somebody
to
do
maintenance
force
on
a
monthly
basis
and
typically
current
website
maintenance
we're
paying
450
a
month
for
it,
I
believe,
and
they
comes
in,
and
so
if
we
have
a
question
something
we
can't
figure
it
out,
they
can
upload
things
change
images.
F
They
also
go
on
there
and
check
for
do
scans
for
broken
links
and
make
sure
all
the
links
we
have
on
there
are
going
where
they
need
to
go,
make
sure
they
make
make
sure
they
ensure
that
we
will
maintain
meet
all
ada
and
privacy
laws
as
they
change
and
accessibility,
and
things
like
that
too.
We
have.
The
149
is
just
a
one-time
spin
for
this
project.
B
F
A
A
D
Thank
you
chairman.
I
hope
so
too.
That's
the
plan
anyway.
So
we'll
see
what
happens,
but
I
appreciate
the
kind
words.
D
D
All
right,
well,
first
things
first,
so
we
just
spoke
a
little
bit
about
noise
and
passing
on
to
your
noise
complaints
for
the
month
of
april.
D
It
appears
that
we
had
five
complaints,
total
three
commercial
to
general
aviation,
so
that's
really
an
indicator
of
our
seasonal
carriers,
leaving
or
reducing
their
operations
for
the
summer,
and
it's
in
line
with
what
we
typically
see
in
terms
of
parking
average
parking
capacity
for
us
has
been
69
over
the
last
couple
of
months
and
that's
been
a
little
concerning
for
us,
both
good
news
and
bad
news,
essentially
concerning
in
the
sense
that
we're
obviously
seeing
a
sustained
growth
on
the
land
side
for
parking
and
that's
something
that
we
need
to
address.
D
Good
news,
obviously
generator
for
us
and
we
love
money.
So
victoria's
been
happy
and
cheering
all
week
about.
You
know
money
and
that
that's
been
a
part
of
that.
That
picture.
D
Along
with
that,
though,
the
airport
internally
we're
taking
a
serious
look
at
potentially
getting
a
consultant
on
board
to
take
a
look
at
our
parking
situation,
see
where
we
can
make
some
improvements,
see
if
there's
something
that
we
can
do
with
our
rates
and
fees
structure,
to
help
facilitate
those
improvements,
and
there
are
also
some
short-term
things
that
we're
trying
to
do
to
help
ease
the
congestion
and
the
pressure
on
our
parking,
which
might
include
use
of
our
overflow
a
lot.
Some
lighting
and
infrastructure
projects
out
there
as
well.
D
So
airport
staff
is
just
starting
to
talk
about
those
things
and
we
hope
to
make
some
movement
over
the
on
those
over
the
summer.
D
Probably
yes,
that's
that's
a
coincidence.
We
haven't
been
asking
people
to
buy
a
property,
but.
G
Okay,
because
you
know,
unfortunately,
I've
had
experience
with
this
while
working
for
a
city
is
that
a
investor
will
come,
buy
those
up
hold
out
because
they
know
it's
crucial
to
the
operations
of
an
airport
or
another
facility,
and
then
you
know
jack
the
price
up
as
much
as
they
can.
G
D
Been
doing
some
internal
research
on
that
already
so
victoria
has
been
working
over
the
last
month
to
kind
of
get
information
about
vacant
properties
surrounding
the
airport.
What
their
uses
could
be
how
they
could
be
funded
those
type
of
things,
so
we've
already
been
doing
some
of
that
that
leg
work
to
get
there.
G
Okay
yeah,
I
just
don't
want
us
to
get
scooped
out
at
the
last
minute
by
somebody
who
thinks
they've
got
a
you
know,
a
way
to
gouge
the
airport.
Absolutely.
D
So
we'll
we'll
continue
to
work
on
that
and
provide
updates
on
the
parking
situation
as
we
make
decisions
and
movement
on
that
over
the
summer
in
terms
of
bag
make
or
sorry
bad
claim.
D
There
were
a
couple
of
things
that
I
owed
you
a
couple
of
answers
that
I
would
commission
one
responding
to
you,
commissioner
miller
and
commissioner
wiseman.
We
did
speak
with
the
airlines
regarding
the
needs
to
have
their
agents.
Do
some
coordination
in
the
bad
claim
area
as
flights
come
in,
the
airlines
indicated
they
will
try.
They
really
are
telling
us
that
their
manpower
constraints
are
just
hurting
them
right
now
and
so
that's
been
challenging
for
them.
But
they'll
they'll
continue
to
try
and
address
those
situations.
D
We
are
installing
pa
systems
in
the
sterile
area
of
the
airport,
so,
where
the
agents
come
to
drop
bags,
the
roll-up
doors
they're
gonna
be
some
pa
systems
out
there.
There
currently
aren't
any
and
that
should
help
the
situation
so
that,
as
they
come
up,
drop
bags
onto
the
belts,
they'll
make
announcements
and
hopefully
that'll
ease
some
of
the
confusion
on
the
bad
claims
side
for
passengers
coming
in
and
retrieving
their
baggage
and.
E
B
Me
excuse
me
harry
it's
todd
burke.
I
just
want
to
give
a
personal
anecdote.
I
flew
in
sunday
united,
full
a319,
and
not
only
did
they
make
an
announcement
when
the
gate
agent
opened
the
door
saying
baggage
would
be
at
gate
number
one
I
put
my
timer
on
as
I
walked
through
the
terminal
and
first
bag
hit
the
belt
in
five
minutes
and
three
seconds
so
united
was.
It
was
a
good
afternoon
for
united
from
my
perspective,.
D
Perfect,
that's
what
I
like
to
hear
so,
apparently
that
message
is
getting
through
to
the
airlines.
C
D
And
some
of
that
would
be
seeing
just
because
the
seasonal
carriers
are
somewhat
dormant
right
now.
But
we'll
continue
to
work
with
the
airlines
to
make
sure
that
they're
making
those
announcements
they're
having
agents
in
the
baggage
claim
area
and
in
the
baggage
service
offices,
so
that
we're
providing
the
best
customer
service
possible.
D
Absolutely
I
can
let
you
know,
and
that
should
happen
within
the
next
week.
I
believe,
according
to
our
I.t
department,
great
and
then
speaking
of
our
I.t
department.
So
commissioner
payne
had
a
question
about
the
bid
system
from
last
meeting.
I
did
ask
it
about
that
about
the
ability
to
automatically
feed
the
bid
system.
D
What
they're,
essentially
telling
me
is
that
our
bid
system
is
not
tied
to
our
fit
system,
so
our
flight
information
display
system
is
not
tied
to
baggage
claim,
so
the
agents
have
to
manually
go
in
and
update
that
information
and
what
I
asked
of
it
was
well.
What
would
it
take
for
them
to
do
that?
They
essentially
told
me
a
major
project
to
make
that
happen.
D
So
we'll
continue
to
look
at
that,
but
it
doesn't
sound
like
that's
an
easy
one
to
address,
but
we'll
continue
to
remind
the
airlines
that
they
do
need
to
manually
feed
that
information
into
the
system
as
they're
dropping
bags.
Once
adults.
G
D
It
could
be
some
limited
expertise,
but
what
I
understand
from
it,
what
they
actually
reached
out
to
who's
our
feds
and
bids
provider,
and
my
understanding
from
ceta,
is
that
the
bids
and
the
fit
systems
are
basically
two
different
types
of
software
they
weren't
purchased
together.
So
in
order
for
them
to
talk
to
each
other
and
or
in
order
for
us
to
upgrade
them,
it
would
be
a
substantial
project.
E
Harry
yes,
I
know
a
lot
of
people
at
ceta
and
fairly
high
up
if
you're,
okay,
I
would
take
again
an
action
item
to
see
if
to
per
scott's
recommendation,
if
how
real
that
is
and
what
would
it
cost
if
they
treated
palm
springs
with
extra
love
and
care
if
you're,
okay,
with
that.
G
I
mean
if
a
couple
of
the
airports
in
mexico
that
I've
been
to
can
do
it,
I'm
absolutely
sure
that
palm
springs
can
can
conquer
this.
D
Absolutely
no,
I
I
don't
have
a
problem
with
that
at
all.
I
would
just
recommend
that
you
speak
to
rit
guys
because
I'm
not
sure
if
there's
an
infrastructure
component
that
I'm
missing
to
it,
so
I
can
put
you
in
touch
with
our
rit
guys
for
that
part
of
it,
but
I
have
no
problem
with
you
speaking
with
them.
E
Thank
you
we'll
do
I'll,
we'll
change
emails,
offline,
okay,.
D
D
So
I
don't
know
if
you
all
recall,
but
recently
the
airport
implemented
a
system
called
aerocloud
and
the
intent
was
to
automate
some
of
our
gate,
handling
and
ground
handling
practices,
so
that
operations
had
a
360
view
of
kind
of
what
was
going
on
with
the
airport.
Well,
as
it
turns
out,
that
system
is
incredibly
robust,
and
so
we
were
able
to
get
some
granular
level
information
about.
You
know
what
the
airlines
were
actually
doing
on
the
ramp
things
that
we
can't
see
when
we're
in
the
building.
D
So
we
used
aerocloud,
we
used
camera
and
cameras
and
we
identified
that
there
were
a
couple
of
airlines
who
were
consistently
having
ground
dwell
times
that
exceeded
30
minutes
and
that
translated
into
delays
at
baggage
claim
delays
with
flights
getting
onto
the
gate
off
the
gate,
etc.
So
we
are
addressing
those
with
those
individual
airlines
to
figure
out
if
there's
something
they
can
do
to
improve
their
performance.
D
So
that's
for
baggage
claim
on
the
outbound
baggage
handling
system.
That's
that's
still
kind
of
thorn
on
our
side.
We
do
have
the
one
consulting
consultant
on
board
to
help
us
assess
that
system.
They
are
going
to
have
a
kickoff
meeting
scheduled
for
may
25th,
after
which
point
they'll
come
out,
assess
the
system
provide
us
a
report.
G
D
That,
whatever
fix
that
d1
comes
up
with
or
whatever
recommendation
to
come
up
with
for
the
airport,
is
likely
not
to
be
something
that
we'll
be
able
to
pursue
before
the
fall
of
this
year.
So
we
do
anticipate
going
into
the
fall
going
into
the
winter
in
the
spring
that
we
will
still
have
baggage
handling
system
challenges
as
a
result.
Internally,
the
airport
staff
is
already
working
on
contingency
plans
for
how
to
address
that,
so
that
we
hopefully
don't
end
up
in
the
same
situation
that
we
did
over
the
spring.
D
That's
going
to
involve
probably
some
supplemental
labor,
it's
going
to
involve
potentially
some
help
from
tsa.
I
was
with
the
federal
security
director
yesterday
we
were
talking
about
additional
manpower,
as
well
as
the
potential
to
get
a
new
machine
out
here,
a
sixth
machine
that
would
be
staged
elsewhere
on
the
airport
and
that's
going
to
involve
frankly
some
creative
thinking
so
we're
working
through
that
process.
D
Now
we're
talking
to
the
airlines
now
about
their
scheduling
to
make
sure
that
they,
you
know
as
much
as
possible,
don't
schedule
multiple
flights
during
a
certain
period
of
time.
So
we're
really
trying
to
work
to
dial
that
in
before
the
next
season.
I
just
wanted
to
communicate
back
to
the
commission.
E
D
Yes,
so
we
had
been
talking
about
that
internally
as
well,
and
that's
something
that
we've
run
through
tsa
and
they're
kind
of
on
the
fence
about
that.
On
the
one
hand,
yes,
it
would
absolutely
help
us.
On
the
other
hand,
that
introduces
a
lot
more
security
risk
and
so
working
through
those
challenges
is,
is
where
we
are,
but
that's
certainly
a
somewhat
viable
idea.
From
our
perspective.
E
No,
it
a
lot
of
airports
are
struggling
with
the
problem,
obviously
much
larger
scale
than
what
we
have
in
palm
springs,
but
most
everybody
due
to
coved
and
other
issues
are
trying
to
separate
the
passenger
from
their
checked
luggage
to
be
checked
luggage.
Much
more.
E
E
So
this
is
happening
globally,
certainly
in
the
states,
and
to
try
to
tie
two
things
together:
the
transportation
hub
idea
that
scott
talked
about
and
sunline
that
daniel
talked
about
coming
up
to
the
curb
if
they
didn't
have
to
schlep
their
luggage
but
could
get
rid
of
the
luggage.
Another
way,
there's
big
wins
across
the
board,
so
it
wouldn't
be
unique
to
palm
springs.
I
think
we
might
be
able
to
dovetail
off
of
other
airport
in
industry
initiatives
to
do
this.
It's
it's
something
that
everybody
is.
E
I
don't
want
to
say
struggling
with,
but
it's
been
a
thorny
problem
for
years
and
I
think
we're
almost
at
the
place
technologically
that
we
can
actually
do
this
cost
effectively,
and
I
think
there
are
probably
airports
we
could
reach
out
to
through
harry
and
his
team
to
see.
If
we
could
pick
you
back
onto
those
sooner
rather
than
later,.
E
D
Your
hendrick
just
to
add
some
context,
so
there
are
concierge
services
out
there
that
do
third
party
back
handling.
They
get
baggage
to
the
airport,
separate
of
the
passenger
who's
actually
arriving,
maybe
at
another
time
or
be
another
mode
of
transportation,
and
so
it's
something
that
is
common
in
the
united
states.
Typically,
airports
do
a
lot
of
pre-work
to
get
there
and
make
sure
that
they
have
the
systems
the
infrastructure,
as
well
as
the
security
practices
in
place
to
handle
that
type
of
of
operation.
D
G
John
and
harry,
what
are
we
talking
about?
Maybe
where
I
know
san
francisco
and
lax,
and
some
of
the
larger
airports
have
sidewalk
check-in
where
they
have.
G
I
guess
I
forget
what
the
name
of
them
are
sky
caps,
right
that
they,
you
know,
do
all
that
stuff.
They
separate
the
passenger
from
the
baggage
outside
and
then
that's
taken.
They
they
check
the
person
in
at
the
gate
or
at
that
stand
many
times.
Unless
there's
an
issue,
and
then
you
know
they
go
their
separate
ways
and
the
luggage
goes
one
way
and
the
passenger
goes
a
different
way.
Is
that
something
you're
thinking
about
john
or
harry?
Is
that
something
that
would
help
no.
D
Yeah,
it's
slightly
different,
so
what
commissioner
payne
is
referring
to
so
say:
you're,
you've
visited
palm
springs
for
five
days
and
you
were
staying
at
the
ace
hotel
and
you
were
leaving.
You
would
have
a
service
essentially
pick
up
your
bag
from
the
ace
hotel
and
bring
it
to
the
airport.
Obviously,
with
you
know,
it
would
be
bundled
with
a
lot
of
other
people
who
are
departing,
but
pick
up.
D
E
It's
there's
self-bagged
drop
and
it
I
think,
harry
at.
We
have
american
skycap
outside
check
in
today
in
front
of
the
terminal.
D
Correct
they
use
a
third-party
vendor
bags
inc
to
work
their
curbside,
so
we
do
a
modified
version
of
that.
Not
that
very
thing,
but
a
modified
version
of
curbside
check-in
exactly.
E
So
scott,
it
would
be
some
combination
of
again
I'm
waving
my
hands,
but
some
combination
of
self-bag
drop,
common
use
that
would
allow
any
airline
flying
in
flying
out
of
palm
springs
to
be
able
to
take
the
luggage
separate
from
the
traditional
process
and
securely
get
it
to
plain
side
and
match
that
harry
is
truly
on
that
flight
and
about
to
take
off.
So
I
mean
again
it's
it's,
not
it's
a
convoluted
based
on
tsa
rules
and
regs,
but
tsa
does
allow
this
and
this
started
years
ago
with
the
cruise
lines
in
disney.
E
So
it's
been
done
in
florida
with
disney
world
and
cruises,
and
orlando
airport
for
years
and
again
scale
is
huge
there.
So
it's
profitable
and
that's,
I
think,
harry
where
bags
inc
kind
of
started,
doing
cruise
ship
luggage
and
airline
luggage
in
in
orlando,
but
but
again
conceptually
it's
something
that
we,
I
would
suggest.
We
take
a
look
at
in
our
pending
off-site
perry.
D
Yeah
absolutely
and
it's
something
that
we're
we've
already
been
in
discussions
with
tsa
about
it's
just:
how
do
we
get
there?
You
know
how
do
we
write
it
into
our
security
plan
and
do
all
these
things
to
make
it
happen?.
D
So
that
was
outbound
baggage
handling
system,
common
use.
The
airport
will
begin
common
use
conversion
in
early
june.
D
So
just
a
reminder:
that's
basically
upgrading
our
it
systems
at
the
gates
at
the
bono
and
rj
concourses,
so
that
any
airline
can
park
any
aircraft
at
any
gate.
As
long
as
that
gate
is
physically
able
to
accommodate
that
aircraft.
That
currently
isn't
the
case.
Right
now,
you
have
certain
airlines
assigned
to
certain
gates,
we'll
be
starting.
B
Ask
a
question
about
that
very
items:
yes,
when
they
do
that,
is
there
any
sensitivity
to
the
design
instead
of
getting
rid
of
sort
of
the
faux
santa
fe
style?
We
have
now
that's
dated
and
make
it
more
complementary
to
the
mid-century
design
of
the
original
airport.
D
Absolutely
so
that's
one
of
our
focus
areas
for
tomorrow
actually
they're
coming
out
for
a
sidewalk
of
the
terminal,
so
that
we
can
start
that
planning
process
and
that's
one
of
the
things
that
we'll
focus
heavily
on
is
the
design
and
making
sure
that
it's
consistent
with
the
feel
of
palm
springs.
D
And
then
the
last
thing
I
had
on
my
report
was
that
strategy
session
you
mentioned,
commissioner
payne.
So
we
did
have
a
discussion
with
operations
committee
a
couple
of
weeks
ago,
and
we
agreed
that
we
needed
to
move
forward
with
that
strategy
session
as
soon
as
possible.
D
There
are
some
things
that
are
happening
both
short
term
and
long
term.
That
could
really
benefit
from
commissions
input,
as
well
as
some
cooperation
between
the
airport
and
commission.
So
hopefully,
at
some
point
over
the
next
month,
we'll
we'll
nail
down
a
date
for
that
with
commissioner
badaz
or
chairman
dada's
permission
and
get
that
squared
away.
E
E
D
G
G
D
C
Off
top,
would
you
give
us
your
thing
you're,
on
mute,
want.
A
Sorry,
yeah
scott.
We
will
find
a
place
to
have
it
either
at
the
convention
center
or
we
can
even
do
it
at
the
hilton.
B
A
B
If
I
may
after
please,
please
it's
under
the
executive
director
report
for
a
concession,
rfp
update-
and
I
know
that
maybe
this
should
be
daniel's
and
a
lot
of
work
has
been
done
on
it.
So
I
didn't
know
if
there
was
an
update
today,
but
I
did
have
a
question.
D
There
is
an
update,
I
believe,
victoria
is
providing
that
update
in
her
briefing,
which
is
next,
so
we
can
roll
right.
H
All
right
good
evening,
commissioners,
good
evening,
chairman
bada,
so
I'll
go
ahead
and
go
into
the
concessions
rfp
we
are.
We
have
pretty
much
finalized.
The
the
draft
of
the
rfp
we've
received
comments.
We've
worked
with
rakondo
and
we've
made
all
the
changes
that
are
possible
and
within
our
permissions
to
meet
the
industry
standard
and
the
faa
requirements
for
the
rfp
for
the
palm
springs
international
airport.
H
I
do
want
to
emphasize
that
we
have.
You
know,
even
though
that
there
is
some
there's
local
mentioned
inside
of
the
rfp.
We
also
discuss
that
there
is
a
sense
of
place
because
we
not
can't
explicitly
provide
direct
information
in
the
rfp
that
states
that
we
want
a
local
business
to
come
in
and
we
are
preferring
we're
giving
a
preferential
treatment
to
local
business.
H
We
are
going
to
make
sure
that
we
emphasize
at
our
meetings
that
we
have
with
the
community
and
even
if
there's
any
meetings
that
we
have
where
they
want
to
tour
our
facility,
we're
going
to
make
sure
that
we
emphasize
to
the
local
community
that
they
can.
You
know
possibly
partner
with
a
national
company,
and
so
we
just
want
to
put
that
outreach
out
there
and,
of
course
we
always
have
the
you
know
the
evaluations,
the
ratings,
the
we
rated
the
brands
and
concepts
very
high,
20
25
points.
H
It
was
a
the
highest
amount
of
points
that
we
are
giving
to
on
our
evaluation
criteria,
and
so
you
know
we
just
want
to
make
sure
that
we
are
stressing
the
importance
of
the
concepts
of
sense
of
place
and
local
businesses.
H
So
we
are
working
with
our
attorney
to
kind
of
start
finalizing
the
agreement
we've
already.
We
have
weekly
meetings
with
the
attorney,
the
attorney
reviews,
the
agreement
and
we
make
updates
to
it
as
needed,
but
we
are
still
on
track
for
having
it
released
on
june
the
6th,
and
then
let
me
see
you
said
that
you
had
a
question.
I
don't
use
my
computer
anymore.
Okay,
there
you
go
hi,
patricia,
yes,.
B
Hi,
yes,
thank
you
very
much
so
everything's
on
track
and
then
being
ready
for
release
on
june
6th.
So
I
guess
I
was
hoping
you
could
just
run
through
the
method
of
the
release.
Is
it
media?
Is
it
using
the
records
that
from
the
office
you
know
sending
out
emails,
but
I'm
just
curious
right.
H
Yeah,
absolutely
so
what
we're
going
to
do
is
we're
going
to
use
planet
bids.
That's
how
we're
going
to
release
this.
In
addition,
we
have
our
consultant
that's
attending
a
conference
on
june
6
in
phoenix,
and
this
is
a
business
conference
for
airports
and
he
is
going
to
start
spreading
the
word
to
everyone
at
that
conference
that
we
that
the
city
of
palm
springs
palm
springs.
International
airport
has
an
rfp
that's
out
on
the
streets,
so
we're
definitely
spreading
the
word
by
putting
in
on
planet
bids
putting
it.
H
You
know
with
our
consultant
and
him
going
out
to
a
conference,
and
then
you
know
we
may
even
be
able
to
I'm
not
sure
if
daniel
could
put
anything
online,
we
haven't
ironed
that
out
100,
but
there's
a
possibility
that
we
could
potentially
do
that.
B
You
know
victoria,
I
guess
what
I'm
looking
for
is
something
direct
communication
with
locals
that
are
in
business.
I've
heard
from
a
few
that
may
be
interested,
but
then
I
wouldn't
want
it
just
to
those
who
have
reached
out
on
their
own
right
right.
If
I
could
try
that.
F
Go
ahead,
go
ahead,
so
distributing
it
when
it
goes
live.
I
can
use
my
channels
to
get
out
there
I
mean
we
could
we
could
so
we
got
all
of
our
local
channels
through,
like
our
new
palm
trees,
hospitality
association
and
visit
greater
palm
springs
to
send
it
out
to
spread
the
word
to
local
businesses.
F
F
F
Yes,
commerce
to
what
the
chamber
of
commerce
yeah
chamber,
commerce
as
well
so
like
they're
they're,
all
my
I
have
a
big
media
distribution
list
and
they're
they're.
All
the
chambers
of
commerce
are
on
their
coachella
valley,
economic
partnerships
on
there,
so
we
can
definitely
I
mean
yeah.
Once
it's
live
and
published,
I
can
send
out
the
links
and
spread
the
word.
C
Patricia
you
may
remember
that
we
did
this
in
19
and
20.,
we
did
a
series
of
meetings
with
local,
both
retail
and
food
and
beverage
outlets,
to
explain
the
process
and
eventually,
what
that
did
was
it
encouraged
them
to
partner
with
some
of
the
national
players
who
have
the
capital
to
do
this
type
of
project,
and
in
reviewing
this,
this
update
with
victoria
and
with
harry.
C
We
added
that
in
that
that
step
into
this,
so
besides
making
people
aware
that
we're
doing
this
and
encourage
the
local
retail
and
food
and
beverage
folks
to
be
aware
of
this
and
the
implications
of
this
we're
going
to.
We
have
some
steps
in
there
to
review
this
whole
process
with
them,
so
they
know
what's
going
on
and
encouraging
and
encouraging
them
to
get
involved,
get
smart
about
it
and
hopefully
align
with
some
of
the
national
players
who
we
expect
will
bid
for
this
victoria.
Am
I
correct.
E
H
And
it's
it's
called
brands
and
concepts
correct,
and
so,
as
long
as
we
are
following
what
the
rfp
scope
of
work
says,
so
we
will
make
that
evaluation
based
off
of
what
is
in
the
scope
of
work.
E
H
E
Got
it
is
there,
did
you
folks
talk
about,
I
mean
usually
local
brands
can't
afford
to
work
at
the
airport
for
a
variety
of
reasons.
You've
probably
already
found
that
out.
Was
there
a
discussion
or
is
there
a
discussion
when
you
do
the
evaluations
of
what
I'll
call
a
pop-up
capability
where
the
local
brand
could
come
in
for
a
limited
period
of
time,
based
on
what
they're
selling
and
that's
physical
space
is
a
store
within
a
store
or
a
pop-up
that
is
supported
by
the
prime
that
wins
the
overall
concession
rfp.
H
Yes,
there
is,
and
we
even
put
in
blank
slates,
there's
three
blank
slates
that
we
added
into
the
rfp
and
we
put
the
term
for
those
blank
slates
at
a
less
time,
rather
than
committing
to
ten
years
with
a
five-year
extension.
It
is
a
three-year
term
so
and
we
even
have
one
of
the
blank
slates
pre-security
so
that
potentially
they
wouldn't
have
to
go
through
all
of
that
badging
process
to
get
screened
and
actually
work
behind
security.
H
G
My
concern
is
exactly
what
I
think
commissioner
payne
just
said
is
that
local
businesses
do
not
have
the
financial
resources
to
really
get
into
these
things.
And
could
a
local
hat
get
a
25
points
on
concept
and
not
be
economically
viable
enough
to
be
able
to
work
successfully
in
us
in
a
space.
H
Well,
we
built
the
rfp
with
that
in
mind
that,
in
the
event
that
a
local
does
come
into
the
airport,
that
they
have
the
same
opportunities
as
everyone
else
to
operate
here,
we
definitely
don't
want
them
to
fail.
So
we
want
to
do
as
much
as
we
can
up
front
so
that
they
don't
fail
so
awarding
just
because
they
are
local.
G
Okay,
so,
okay,
because
my
concern
is
that
we
do
want
to
encourage
local
businesses,
but
not
at
the
expense
of
an
economic
downturn
that
could
cause
a
lot
of
blank
places
in
the
airport
and.
H
Then
there
is
a
clause
in
there
that
does
talk
about
that
that
that
that,
after
a
certain
period
of
time
we
do
have
to
you
know,
there's
a
clause
inside
of
the
agreement
that
states
that
they
have
to
be
operating
and
if
it
were
to
be
like
a
national
company
that
were
to
come
in
and
then
they
they
did
have.
They
did
partner
with
the
local
company
and
they
ended
up
pulling
out
that
they
have
to
have.
It
turned
around
within
a
certain
amount
of
time
and
get
somebody
else
in
there
or
fill
the
space.
E
But
there's
only
there's,
only
one
in
a
a
local
firm
could
become
the
entire
concessionaire,
but
it's
unlikely
and
the
incentive
here
is
for
the
regional
or
the
national
master
service
agreement,
concessionaire
partner
and
you're.
Looking
for
them
their
presentation
to
be
the
most
effective,
interesting
innovative
when
it
comes
to
bringing
in
the
local
brands.
H
C
Just
a
comment
about
what
happened
before
when
the
when
the
initial
rfp
went
out
the
john
d,
it
became
very
apparent
very
quickly
that
even
some
of
the
largest
restaurant
restaurants
in
in
the
area
would
not
have
the
capital
to
make
this
ten
year.
Commitment
right
and.
D
C
What
happened
was
four
mi,
the
four
national
players?
You
know
three
of
them,
I'm
sure
stepped
forward
and
began
to
partner
with
the
locals
and
to
have
conversations
with
them,
and
so
in
educating
local
retail
and
food
and
beverage.
C
They
we
explained
what
the
process
was
and
got
a
better
sense
of
how
important
it
was
to
partner
with
these
national
brands
and
the
national
players
were
looking
to
this
the
same
same
relationships
trying
to
reach
out
to
the
locals.
Now
we
never
saw
what
the
final
thing
was
because
covet
hit,
and
you
know
we
never
saw
with
the
final
contract.
C
These
folks
never
got
a
chance
to
compete,
but
at
the
time,
all
four
players,
national
players
were
building
significant
relationships
with
the
local
folks
and
some
of
them
even
had
quasi
lobbyists,
who
were
working
with
local
food
and
beverage
folks
to
partner
with
the
big
players,
and
we
suspect,
that's
you
know
again.
That
was
a
big
lesson
learned
the
locals.
H
The
only
thing
that
I
have
is
and
I'll
I'll
kind
of
go
pretty
quickly
on
this.
I
just
wanted
to
give
y'all
an
update
on
a
couple
of
our
retail
locations.
We
are
going
to
have
a
scan,
pay
and
go
capability
in
two
of
the
four
retail
locations
at
the
airport.
This
is
to
help
during
surge
times,
so
the
customer's
able
to
download
an
app
they
can
scan
the
barcode
of
an
item
inside
of
the
store
they
could
pay
with
it
and
then
they
could
walk
out
with
it.
H
So
we're
hoping
that
this
is
going
to
kind
of
help.
You
know
our
passengers
come
into
two
of
our
busier
stores,
one
in
the
rj
one
in
the
bono
and
kind
of
help
the
passengers
get
what
they
need
and
get
out
and
go
sit
down
in
the
grass
and
hang
out
for
a
little
bit
until
they're
ready
to
board
their
flight.
So
that's
one
thing:
that's
that's
new!
That's
arriving
to
the
airport
by
the
end
of
this
month.
H
H
I
won't
take
too
much
of
your
time
because
you
all
have
seen
this
the
financial
summary,
but
our
financials
are
looking
really
good
and,
as
I
said
earlier
march,
is
our
busiest
time
of
the
year
we
received,
let's
see
26
million
in
operating
revenues,
and
we
had
17
million
in
expenditures
for
our
fund
415
that
left
us
with
a
surplus
of
8.6
million.
H
So
that's
pretty
amazing
and
even
given
to
prior
years
I
mean
we're
we're
we're
doing
pretty
amazing
this
year,
one
of
the
the
ones
that
I
thought
was
kind
of
that
stood
out
to
me.
The
most
was
the
on
airport
rental
car,
the
revenues
for
that
was
nine
million
dollars,
and
that
is
the
highest
that
we've
ever
received
in
history
from
our
rental
cars.
H
So
that
was
pretty
amazing
to
see
that
and
to
compare
it
to
prior
year
last
year
and
even
comparing
it
to
2019
2019
was
at
6.1
million,
so
we
had
an
extra
3
million
dollars
in
revenue
just
in
our
on
airport
rental
car.
So
I'm
I'm
going
to
leave
it
at
that.
I'm
not
going
to
go
into
too
much
detail
about
our
other
funds.
Unless
anybody
has
any
questions
about
the
financials.
H
Yeah,
so
the
rate
changes
that
we
did,
commissioner
wiseman,
that
was
for
our
customer
facility
charges
that
we
charge
on
it
was
a
per
transaction
that
changed
to
a
nine
dollars
per
day
up
to
five
days
and
that's
in
our
fund
405,
it's
more
of
a
restricted
funds
account,
and
so
that
account
is
doing
really
well,
I
mean
we
definitely
saw
major
increases
there.
H
The
9
million
is
related
to
the
actual
money
that
the
passengers
paid
for
the
rental
of
their
vehicle.
So
if
they
were
here
for
five
days,
let's
just
say
whatever
it
costs
to
rent
a
car
for
five
days,
the
airport
received
10
of
that
gross
sales.
So
two
separate
pots
of
money.
We
did
see
an
increase
in
the
cfcs
because
we
increased
the
rate
in
march,
but
we
also
saw
an
increase
in
revenues
just
because
of
the
passenger
traffic
during
march,
and
it
being
our
busiest
time
of
the
year.
A
E
I
have
one
or
two
wondering
what
the
commissioners
think
of
taking
the
committees
that
we
currently
have.
This
is
the
marketing
the
operations
and
the
budget
committee
and
turning
them
into
working
groups
so
that
the
committees
stay
constituted
as
they
are
with
the
leadership
they
have
today.
That
does
not
change,
but
enabling
a
working
group
allows
us
to
not
be
forced
into
a
public
meeting
and,
I
think,
have
discussions
that
sometimes
are
difficult
to
have
in
a
public
meeting
when
it
comes
to
security
and
other
aspects
of
the
airport
operation.
E
So
I'd
like
to
put
that
for
consideration
chairman
dotta,
I
don't
know
how
you
put
something
forward
to
have
it
approved,
so
I
wouldn't
expect
it
to
be
approved
verbally.
But
I'd
like
to
put
that
on
the
table
for
discussion.
A
C
Sir,
there
you
go.
Thank
you.
I
don't
know.
If
any
of
you
listened
in
to
the
city
council
meeting
this
week
last
week,
where
justin
and
the
team
talked
about
commissions,
moving
forward
it'll
be
interesting.
There
are
several.
There
were
eight
or
ten
recommendations,
and
if
you
have
the
time,
it's
interesting
to
listen
to
it,
the
debate
that
went
on
city
council
basically
blessed
this
staff
moving
forward
and
implementing
some
changes
to
how
commissions
are
managed.
C
Specifically
the
airport
commission.
There
were
some
discussions
about
making
smaller
commissions
to
make
them
more
effective.
I
don't
think
that's
going
to
happen
to
the
airport
commission.
That
was
acknowledged,
but
I
think
there
are
some
implications
in
terms
of
how
they
want
the
commissions
to
move
forward
and
so
it'll
be
interesting
to
get
a
better
understanding
of
you
know
the
the
summary
of
this
whole
strategic
planning
process
that
justin
and
team
have
done
and
the
implications
it
could
have
on
what
you're
suggesting
john.
C
I
don't
know
the
specifics.
They
didn't
talk
specifically
about
subcommittees
and
that
type
of
thing,
but
I
know
that
there
is
a
broad
range
of
recommendations
and
how
commissions
will
move
forward.
So
it's
something
we
should
get
smart
about
as
we
consider
how
we
want
to
move
forward,
just
to
see
what's
being
planned
and
what
implications
that
they
have
for
the
airport
commission
as
well.
G
C
I
think
scott
that
was
the
intent
too,
to
reach
out
to
the
commissions
as
well,
but
they
basically
is.
If
I,
if
I
read
it
correctly
and
again,
I
listened
to
it
a
couple
of
times.
They
basically
gave
blessings
to
move
forward
now
to
start
socializing.
C
Some
of
these
ideas
with
commissions-
I
don't
they
just
gave
there-
was
not
a
lot
of
debate
or
disagreement
with
some
of
the
recommendations
that
came
out
of
that
group,
but
that
is
one
of
the
next
steps
is
to
reach
out
to
the
commissions
and
start
to
socialize
their
suggestions
and
ideas,
and
I'm
just
putting
that
forward
that
you
know
this
information
is
coming
here.
G
G
I'm
a
little
bit
surprised
that
there
wasn't,
because
we
haven't
had
a
discussion
as
a
commission
on
any
of
this
and
I'm
a
little
concerned
that
the
council
would
give
somewhat
of
a
blanket
okay
without
even
us
kind
of
reviewing
it
as
a
commission,
and
you
know
so
I
I
certainly
would
like
to
see
what
staff
is
specifically
recommending.
C
Now,
off
top
when
that
was
recommended,
that
was
one
of
the
recommendations,
generally
speaking,
is
to
to
to
squeeze
the
size
of
commissions
to
make
them
more
effective.
But
when
that
specific
issue
came
up
on
the
city,
count
on
about
the
airport,
commission,
mayor,
middleton,
stepped
in
and
said
and
recognized
the
importance
of
having
representation
across
all
the
cities.
So
I
I
got
the
sense
that
they
may
be
stepping
back
from
that
and
reconsidering
the
size
and
like
leaving
the
airport
commission
the
size.
C
It
is
now
to
make
sure
there's
across
all
the
cities,
but
that
was
one
specific
issue
that
was
brought
up
in
the
presentation
of
these.
I
think
nine
or
ten
recommendations
from
staff,
but,
as
I
said
next,
step
is
they're
going
to
reach
out
to
commissions
and
about
some
of
these
recommendations
and
how
to
tighten
up
processes
and
procedures
and
anything
we
do
will
be
subject
to
some
of
this
discussion.
C
So
I
thought
at
the
end
that
it
may
be
part
depending
of
our
timing,
in
terms
of
our
strategic
planning
meeting
that
we
may
use
some
of
that
time
to
look
at
what
is
being
proposed
to
see
how
that
will
influence
the
the
airport,
commission
or
not.
But
specifically,
the
mayor,
said,
wait
a
minute.
This
may
we
may
want
to
handle
this
differently
just
because
of
the
nature
of
the
commission
and
the
importance
of
having
all
the
communities
involved.
C
So
if
you're,
if
you
want
to
see
the
debate,
just
look
at
the
last
20
minutes
of
the
meeting
from
last
week
and
you'll
see
the
presentation
of
the
10
recommendations.
But
I
know
one
of
the
the
blessing
that
they
gave
was
let's
step
forward
with
this,
and
one
of
those
steps
was
to
reach
out
to
the
commission,
so
they
are
going
to
commence.
I
want
to
leave
the
impression
scott
that
this
is
the
decision.
Decisions
been
made
without
social
socializing,
these
comments,
but
it's
coming
forward
and
we'll
have
some
implement.
C
It
will
probably
have
some
impact
on
the
way
we
we
manage
ourselves
manage
the
commission.
D
And
that's
exactly
right
kevin
I
mean
it's.
It's
we're
very
much
focused
internally,
at
least
as
the
staff,
the
city
staff,
I'm
talking
about
not
just
airport
staff,
very
much
focused
on
making
sure
that
the
commissions
and
boards
are
consistent,
and
so
that
was
really
what
justin
went
into
the
city
council
meeting
with
those
10
10
or
12
recommendations.
D
I
can't
remember
how
many
they
were,
but
that
was
really
the
overarching
ask
of
the
city
council
in
that
meeting
was
to
create
some
consistency
and
from
there
there
would
be
a
dialogue
between
the
city
and
the
commissions
to
figure
out
what
that
looks
like.
G
Okay,
okay,
so
there
isn't
any
specific
things
per
se
that,
besides
the
size
of
the
commission,
that
has
come
out
of
any
of
that
then
without
before
us,
because
this
is
kind
of
hitting
me.
So
I
I
just
thought
that
we'd
get
something
first,
but
I
can
understand
the
council
saying
yes,
move
forward
in
a
process.
I
can
understand
that
for
sure.
So.
But
okay,
then
that's
fine.
A
All
I
can
share
is
that
it
isn't.
It
is
on
the
table
and
I
have
a
strong
feeling
that
either
before
the
end
of
this
year,
or
maybe
another
more
year,
passing
by
the
the
city
will
have
to
change
the
entire
ordinance
because
it's
clearly
specified
in
the
city's
ordinance
and
they
have
to
make
a
change.
Yes,
commissioner,
pai.
