If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
A
Okay,
we
now
come
to
the
part
of
the
meeting
that
has
been
set
aside
for
members
of
the
public
to
address
the
public
Arts
Commission
on
items
of
general
interests
within
the
subject
matter:
jurisdiction
of
the
public,
Arts
Commission
and
agenda
items
if
the
member
of
the
public
cannot
be
present
later
in
the
meeting
at
the
time.
The
item
is
heard
by
the
Commission.
A
Additionally,
members
of
the
public
may
address
the
Commission
on
each
item
listed
on
the
posted
agenda
at
the
time.
Each
item
is
heard.
Although
the
public
Arts
Commission
values
your
comments
pursuant
to
the
Brown
Act,
it
generally
cannot
take
any
action
on
items
not
listed
on
the
posted
agenda.
Five
minutes
is
assigned
for
each
speaker
now,
I
heard
from
this
group
that
would
like
to
speak
today
about
a
potential
mural
and
so
I
since
they're
not
on
the
agenda.
I
suggested
that
they
come
to
public
comment.
E
D
E
Him
you
thank
you
for
giving
us
an
opportunity
to
speak
to
you.
The
Palm,
Springs
Cultural
Center,
as
you
may
or
may
not
know,
has
been
around.
For
ten
years
we
had
an
official
kind
of
coming
out
party
in
January
and
announced
the
donation
of
the
Camelot
theaters
to
the
cultural
center.
At
that
time
we
also
announced
a
brand
new
artist
and
residency
program,
and
that's
what
we're
here
to
talk
to
you
about
today.
We
do
have
a
little
presentation,
so
you
can
see
visually
what
your
deck
shows
you
I
should.
E
E
A
number
of
different
programs
that
we
do
throughout
the
year,
but
the
artist
in
residence
program
is
new
for
us.
We
launched
it
in
January.
It's
a
three-month
program
that
we're
doing
with
Eola
here,
she's
here
from
Canada
visiting
with
us,
and
it
is
going
to
end,
hopefully
with
a
mural
that
will
be
done.
We
have
submitted
the
application
for
the
mural
and
we
have
gotten
everything
into
planning
and
so
we're
rolling
on
the
process,
but
we
were
unable
to
get
on
the
agenda.
So
that's
why
we're
here
to
talk
in
public
on
this?
E
If
you
look,
our
mission
is
to
incubate
produce
and
encourage
arts
and
cultural
programs
leveraging
the
unique
power
of
creativity
to
open
my
Brij.
What
divides
us
and
discover
what
connects
us,
and
so
what
I'd
like
to
do
without
further
ado
is
turn
this
over
to
Mary.
A
mere
me
is
curating
this
program
for
us,
and
she
can
give
you
far
more
detail
about
it.
Thank
you
so.
F
F
Exponential
people
start
to
come
to
that
destination
to
experience,
joy
and
they
start
jumping
for
joy
and
they
start
taking
selfies
of
jumping
for
joy
and
suddenly
Palm
Springs
is
this
destination.
That
really
is
about
happiness
and
joy
and
sort
of
in
a
world
where
you
know
we're
barraged
at
times
with
a
lot
of
negativity
and
a
lot
of
things
that
divide
us.
This
is
an
art
intervention
that
unites
us
and
what
unites
us
is
the
human
capacity
for
joy.
So
it
really
is
a
beautiful
thing.
D
F
Will
have
to
let
her
go
at
some
point,
but
she's
with
us
now
and
she's
again
taking
photographs
of
a
full
cultural
mosaic
throughout
the
Coachella
Valley.
Some
of
that
is
a
little
easier
than
others,
but
we
really
are
very
committed
to
including
the
entire
diversity
of
this
community
in
terms
of
politics
and
gender
and
socioeconomic
status
age.
All
of
that
there's
an
amazing
mosaic
here
in
the
Coachella
Valley,
a
lot
of
people
are
underrepresented
and
Palm
Springs
has
a
reputation
that
maybe
is
a
little
bit
different
than
the
reality.
F
It's
not
just
a
place
of
you
know
playing
tennis
for
snowbirds,
although
I
am
one
of
those
we're
really
putting
the
public
back
into
public
art,
and
that
is
something
that
I'm
very
passionate
about
is
the
curator
of
this
program.
This
is
something
that
I
really
looked
for
in
this
project:
engaging
the
entire
community
and
there's
something
magical
about
creating
a
mosaic
where
you
put
people
side
by
side
on
a
mural
and
again
you
see
what
unites
us
and
that's
our
humanity
and
that's
a
beautiful
thing.
E
D
D
F
You
may
know
the
artist
Vik
Muniz,
the
Brazilian
artist,
and
he
was
quite
famous
for
saying.
Art
is
the
stuff
of
transformation,
so
I'm
stealing
his
line
here,
but
art
really
is
the
stuff
of
transformation
with
all
due
respect
to
the
architects
of
this
building.
This
is
not
exactly
a
work
of
art,
but
if
we
go
to
the
next
slide,
tada,
here's
our
mock-up
and
here's
the
mural.
So
it
really
becomes
a
way
to
activate
this
space
as
a
cultural
center.
Just.
E
A
G
I
have
in
those
ones
that
went
by
really
quickly
a
homeless
man
that
I
met
in
a
park,
there's
like
a
whole
wide
variety
of
people
skipping
forward.
This
is
a
mural
that
I
did
in
the
past
to
give
you
more
a
real
experience
of
what
it
will
look
like
these
are
posters
pasted
with
synthetic
wheat
paste.
So
it's
like
a
kind
of
a
glue
that
Street
artists
use
to
paste
up
the
posters.
G
The
posters
in
this
one
are
a
poor
feet
by
4
feet
and
the
one
that
I'm
going
to
do
will
kind
of
depend
on
how
many
photos
I
actually
get
in
the
end,
but
probably
around
this
size
and,
as
you
can
see,
I
was
able
to
do
it
on
my
own,
just
needed
a
brush
and
created
the
glue
and
pasted
them
up.
So
just
sorry,.
E
G
G
H
F
F
We
are
mutually
invested
in
preserving
the
integrity
of
the
artwork.
It
is
considered
a
temporary
mural.
So
as
soon
as
we
determine
that
the
integrity
is
no
longer
there,
we
don't
want
it
there
any
more
than
you
do.
We
did
submit
to
your
planning
department
today
our
maintenance
plan,
in
terms
of
you
know,
things
start
to
pop
up.
It's
very,
very
easy
to
reglue
and.
E
J
I
would
just
encourage
you
to
look
at
other
kinds
of
materials,
because
that
wall
is
facing
the
mountain,
and
you
will
have
a
very,
very
strong,
Sun,
much
stronger
than
right
now,
probably
hitting
that
wall.
Unless
there
are
trees
there
and
I
don't
know
how
long
a
paper
material
is
going
to
last
so
I
would.
K
G
G
H
A
And
and
this
mural
ordinance
is
new
in
terms
of
being
less
restrictive
than
it
was,
but
hopefully
the
planning,
department
or
Building
Department
will
be
able
to
help
you
with
some
of
these
issues.
I
mean
we're
doing
it
from
the
experience
of
having
put
up
artworks
or
your
outdoor
furniture,
which
melts
in
the
summer,
but
and
so
we're
mostly
concerned
with
the
concept
on
that
design.
But
hopefully
the
city
building
department
will
help
you
does
anyone
else.
A
This
is
you
know
we're
not
having
a
full
discussion
of
it,
but
while
they're
here
does
anyone
want
to
just
ask
any
more
questions
or
make
a
comment
later
in
the
agenda?
We're
talking
about
the
new
mural
ordinance
and
so
keep
keep
after
the
Planning
Department
gets
your
application
through.
It
now
requires
10
day
notice
of
our
next
meeting,
so
that
if
there
were
any
members
of
the
public
that
wanted
to
come
and
comment
on
it,
so
backing
up
from
I
think
it's
April
12th
isn't
the
next
one
mm-hmm.
H
E
H
G
D
A
A
C
A
B
I'm,
just
gonna
repeat
this
for
the
record,
so
a
motion
by
chair
Scheffer
to
create
the
ad
hoc
subcommittee,
temporary
installations
with
commissioners,
Prichard
Commissioner,
yani
and
Commissioner
Gladstone,
and
the
second
ad
hoc
subcommittee
for
celebration
year,
programs
with
Commissioner,
Merrigan,
Murray
and
Brenner,
and
that
was
seconded
by
Commissioner
Gladstone.
Is
that
correct.
A
Very
good,
all
in
favor
any
opposed
very
good.
Now
that
leads
into
the
the
next
item
of
business
is
to
talk
about
some
of
the
events
that
we,
when
we
started
talking
about
in
our
planning
session
and
I,
tried
to
put
them
on
this
page.
Also,
we
talked
about
celebrating
the
new
mural
ordinance
and
publicizing
it
and
encouraging
some
more
murals.
The
temporary
installations
downtown.
A
Public
art
and
and
sort
of
being
at
being
at
the
center
of
this,
and
at
some
point,
I,
think
desert
X
will
want
to
do
something
on
one
of
these
sites.
In
February,
2019
and
Commissioner
Murray
has
been
sort
of
brainstorming,
a
project
having
to
do
with
the
homeless.
That
would
tie
in
with
the
city's
efforts,
and
maybe
by
next
month,
we'll
have
a
plan.
A
Are
there
any
other
things?
Just
that
you'd
like
to
be
sure
are
on
the
list
of
themes
for
next
year?
By
the
way,
I
should
say
this:
the
sign
I
bought
at
the
Art
Fair
and
I
thought
this
might
be
just
a
fun
teaser
for
this
whole
thing.
So
if
we
put
it
in
the
pit
downtown
and
then
we
put
some
art
there,
and
then
we
put
it
on
the
Virgin
site,
and
then
we
put
some
art
there
and
Commissioner
Merrigan.
Actually
just
sort
of
brainstorming
with
Maddalena
came
up
with.
D
D
So
we
sort
of
talked
about
this
October
11th
being
sort
of
a
fair
day.
We
talked
about
maybe
doing
some
sort
of
chalk
art
program
in
the
street
that
might
be
up
for
a
few
days
tying
it
into
the
Thursday
night
thing
you
know,
which
is
already
part
of
the
Arts
Commission's
purview
and
kind
of
you
know,
thinking
of
it
as
our
like
a
celebration
of
our
30th
anniversary,
but
also
sort
of
like
the
kickoff
right.
D
There
were
30th
anniversary
here
and
just
again
we
talked
about
sort
of
tying
things
into
the
collection,
as
Ann
mentioned,
you
know,
sort
of
highlighting
the
collection
and
the
things
that
we've
done
it
over
the
past
thirty
years.
So
I
like
the
idea
of
the
October
11th
thing
you
know
sort
of
using
focusing
on
that
as
a
start
date
and
then
I
just
you
know,
that's
I,
just
I,
guess
sort
of
make
sure
try
and
build
support
for
that.
D
L
I
think,
once
again,
this
is
a
great
place
for
us
to
go
into
subcommittee,
make
time
for
Traci
and
Al
and
I
to
get
together.
Come
back
to
the
group.
You've
already
started
on
this
whole
list
of
things
and
then
start
narrowing
it
down,
because
I
think.
Ultimately,
what
we're
trying
to
do
is
figure
out
how
we
schedule
all
next
season,
because
this
season
we're
scheduled
we're
done.
So
how
do
we
move
forward
so
I
think
to
be
most
effective?
We
used
it
in
the
subcommittee.
L
C
So
we
have
a
very
significant
amount
of
art
installed
on
that
site
by
October
because
we
seem
to
it
takes
longer
than
we
always
think
it's
going
to
take
so
I
need
we'll
have
to
work
on
that,
sir
from
October
work
backwards
and
figure
per
installation.
What
the
process
is
specifically
for
that
time
period.
So
we
have
it
all
done
so
art
will
be
there.
I.
J
D
I
A
It's
a
it's
a
Thursday
night
October
is
national
arts
and
humanities
month,
and
it's
a
good
time
to
kick
off
something
like
this
and
with
the
museum
open
late
and
the
street
fair.
If
we
can
tuck
ourselves
in
between
in
a
way
that
you
know,
is
it's
just
a
celebration
of
what's
been
going
on
and
and
it's
it
all
sort
of
ties
together
with
the
social
media
we've
been
trying
to
do
so,
hopefully
by
October.
You
know
we'll
have
lots
more
people
like
taking
selfies
of
themselves
with
some
of
the
art
and.
A
D
You
know
so
there
were
some
interesting
connections
there
also,
so
that
was
the
idea
of
either
maybe
having
this,
because
they,
if
that
would
happen
they
take
more
than
one
day.
You
know
so
it
may
be
started
on
the
Thursday
and
then
continue
through
the
weekend
and
then
that
Sunday
just
happens
to
be
the
free
second
Sunday
at
the
Museum.
D
So
that
looked
like,
so
you
know
there
might
be
some
things
to
work
in
around
that
that
are
also
connected
to
you
know
other
events
and
things
like
that.
So
that's
kind
of
how
we
were
sticking.
We
wanted
to
sort
of
take
advantage
of
the
fact
that
it's
our
Thursday
night
anyway,
you
know
at
the
Museum
and
then
just
kind
of
use
that
as
the
base
to
build
up
like
an
even
you
know
like
an
evening
long
program
or
something
like
that.
She.
I
A
J
A
A
A
A
A
D
B
B
D
B
And
then
another
another
item
that
will
come
out
of
there
is
the
prize
money
for
the
cesar
chavez,
which
is
approximately
five
hundred
dollars
and
same
with
the
so
there's
about
a
three
hundred
and
fifty
four
dollar
balance
left.
Once
we
pay
Sophia
and
the
prize
money
is
taken
out
for
the
MLK
show,
Andy
Cesar
Chavez
show
yes,
and
that
is
correct.
They
have
not
been
encumbered
yet
and.
A
So,
as
we
think
about
next
year,
we
we
may
want
to
adjust
some
of
those
categories
and
add
some
other
things.
But
at
the
moment
we
have
a
suggestion
was
made
by
Commissioner
Pritchard
in
terms
of
budget,
that
we
set
aside
some
money
to
waive
fees
for
murals
and
and
in
the
spirit
of
getting
sort
of
a
fresh
set
of
people,
a
fresh
set
of
murals,
because
for
so
long
we
appeared
to
be
discouraging
them.
A
These
are
copies
of
the
new
application
form
which
is
way
simpler
and
it
does
reflect
the
new
fee,
which
is
nine
hundred
and
fifty
dollars
to
apply
and
four
hundred
and
seventy
six
dollars
for
the
whole
notification
process
and
the
labels
and
things.
So
if
we
were
to
waive
a
fee
for
someone
doing
a
mural,
it
would
be
about
fifteen
hundred
dollars
which
they
would
simply
transfer
from
our
budget
to
planning.
A
C
H
C
C
C
C
If
that
would
be
a
permit
for
you
that
we
would
cover,
because
it's
going
to
be
something
we
would
ultimately
see
and
know
sort
of
beforehand
that
we
would
approve
it,
because
it's
sort
of
how
do
you
figure
out,
which
goes
first
because
they
have
to
actually
apply
for
it
before
it
comes
to
us
for
approval.
So
we
ever
pay
for
it
retroactively
Lee,
if
that's
possible
or
have
some
idea.
If
we're
going
to
approve
it
first
I'm,
just
not
sure
of
how
the
technical
part
will
work
out.
A
H
C
J
A
J
A
We're
going
to
publicize
if
we
want
to
say
that
we're
accepting
proposals
through
murals
to
be
done
this
summer
and
there's
the
possibility
of
subsidy
of
the
fees,
because
I
think
it
it
has
to
be
before
somebody
applies
and
before
somebody
pays
the
fees
once
they've
paid
them
I'm,
not
sure
that
we
can
get
them
back.
We
can
so
I
think.
Maybe
perhaps
we
want
to
say
you
know
like
a
summer
mural
project.
C
He's
a
pretty
much
set
it's
the
950
in
the
476,
so
my
idea
was,
as
we
started,
to
discuss
the
rewriting
the
mural
ordinance
and
just
promoting
it.
I
just
thought:
there's
a
random
number
publicizing
we're
going
to
pay
the
application
processing
piece
on
the
first.
Three
would
also
encourage
people
just
to
get
their
act
together
and
apply
quickly
rather
than
just
sort
of
blank
at
least
saying
within
a
span
of
a
one-year
budget
period.
We're
gonna
cover
these
fees
up
to
a
certain
amount.
This
sort
of
pushes
people
to
act.
A
A
What's
we're
just
a
program
of
mural,
you
know
summer
murals
that
we're
accepting
proposals
and
we
will
help
you
know
some
of
these
get
off
the
ground
group
said
this
might
be
it
I
know
it
I
know
that
the
former
fees
were
a
real
problem
for
a
lot
of
organizations
to
pay.
Some
of
them
are
here
today
who
already
paid
right,
but
I
think
we
have
to
make
it
a
something
that
we
want
to
encourage
a
bunch
of
murals
this
spring
and
summer.
So.
D
Also
so
we
want
I,
guess,
there's
a
question:
we
don't
want
all
these
people
coming
up
with
mural
plans,
thinking
that
we're
gonna
the
face
right,
that's
one
issue
and
then
the
other
hand
we
want
to
purchase
so
I
think
what
we
do
is
publicize.
This
idea
that
you
know
pending
complete,
you
know
pending
approval,
the
Arts
Commission
will
fund
pay
for
the
you
know,
reimburse
or
whatever
cover
the
fees
and
make
it
you.
L
C
Yeah,
it
would
be
contingent
upon
a
complete
application
which
encompasses
all
of
those,
then
things
so
just
determining
where
we
waive
the
fee
is
something
that
the
city
would
have
to
direct
us
on.
But
as
long
as
we
have
in
place
to
encourage
people
and
if
we
base
it
upon
running
through
now
through
a
period
of
July
1,
which
is
when
our
budget
ends
and
then
we
would
reestablish
something
for
the
next
calendar.
Your
budget
yeah.
A
D
A
Cultural
Center
mural
might
be
the
kind
of
example.
I
mean
they
came
to
tell
us
what
they're
doing
they
started
the
process
and
if,
if
the
Commission,
this
is
before
it's
approving
the
final
product,
but
if
the
Commission
wanted
to
encourage
them
by
saying
you
know
we'll
waive
the
fees,
so
what
we
need
to
do
is
to
have
a
way
to
get
the
word
out
that
you
know.
We
would
like
to
see
some
proposals.
What
do
you
think
Mara?
Yes,
can
we
yeah.
J
Well,
it
seems
like
this
project
has
a
little
brand
project,
for
example,
has
some
we
should
just
get
in
the
newspaper?
Can
we
do
a
public
notice
and
it
just
it
just
feels
like
we
could
use
our
Arts
reporters
at
the
Desert
Sun
to
write
about
the
projects
that
we
have
done
or
an
approved
this
this
year,
because
we've
already
there
are
at
least
two
I.
Think
at
this
point,
so
you
know
we.
A
Could
just
put
out
a
story
about
the
fact
that
there's
a
new
ordinance
and
we're
trying
to
make
it
easier
and
we're
trying
to
encourage
it
and
that
anyone
who's
considering
this
should
get
in
touch
with
us
and.
J
B
C
A
A
A
D
A
C
D
H
The
subcommittee
would
maybe,
if
you
weren't
my
discussing
in
education
night,
perhaps
at
the
Museum
one
of
the
Thursday
night's
about
the
mural
project,
I'm
sure
we've
gone
to
some
of
those
I've
back
type
of
video.
It's
45
minutes
long
where
this
particular
murals
is
brought
Oh
City
together,
you
know,
and
just
educating
the
public
yeah.
C
D
D
A
D
L
L
C
I
think
for
a
promotion
of
the
Europe
projects,
especially
if
we
adopt
the
language
of
a
summer
mural
program
that
I
would
like
it
sort
of
to
appear
in
writing
that
we,
as
the
Arts
Commission,
are
going
to
pay
for
a
successfully
completed
mural
application,
the
application
fee
and
the
processing
fees
upon
approval.
So
how
that
works
within
them,
paying
the
application
fee
and
then
us
reimbursing
them.
I,
don't
know
how
that
happens,
but
so
I
can't
make
that
part.
H
H
C
C
A
I
C
D
A
If
we
publicize
this
some
more,
you
can't
think
people
can't
pretend
that
that
they
there
isn't
the
process
number
one
and
number
two.
When
the
City
Council
passed
this,
they
said
basically
they're
just
tired
of
people
painting
a
mural
and
asking
forgiveness.
They
would
like
people
to
just
come
through
the
and
and
because
we've
made
it
easier
and
it's
mostly
through
the
Arts
Commission,
not
through
three
other
Commission's.
A
Well,
hopefully,
this
will
be
something
and
in
fact
Sofia
and
retexe,
who
was
the
artist
in
residence,
said
to
me
the
other
night
that
she's
dying
to
do
in
year
old,
so
she's,
the
kind
of
candidate
who
for
whom
the
fee
might
be
a
problem
and-
and
that
would
help
and
if
she
can
find
someone
give
her
a
wall
right
now.
It
may
be
well.
C
A
C
A
A
C
D
C
A
And
besides,
it's
the
planning
department
that
does
it
that's
why
you
pay
the
fee.
So
what
the
ordinance
says
is
that
you
have
to
pay
for
notice
labels
for
all
property
owners
within
500
feet,
but
if
the
Planning
Department
chooses
to
send
it
out
to
other
neighbors
like
neighborhoods,
that's
fine,
but
that's
not
the
responsibility
of
the
applicant.
L
C
D
C
C
A
I
suggest
that
you
sit
down
with
Flynn
the
Director
of
Planning,
who
mentioned
that
he
would
be
willing
to
sort
of
go
look
at
the
new
process
and
see
if
how
how
it
affected
our
Arts
Commission
part
of
it.
So
since
you've
been
closest
to
the
whole
mural
project,
can
could
you
do
that
with
him
and
ask
him
these
questions,
he's
the
one
that
could
say:
oh
you're
right
it
didn't
need
to
be
that
no
I
guess
bread,
or
this
is
why
we
think
and
planning
it
should
be,
but.
C
Yeah
yeah,
it's
my
main
concern
is
just
an
applicant
looking
at
the
process
to
apply
and
then,
if
they
end
up
in
the
median
where
somebody
who
lives
two
miles
away,
not
that
I
care
about
the
other
public
comment.
That
is
just
something
that
could
dissuade.
Applicants
from
applying
I
just
want
the
process
to
work.
Well,.
A
H
H
D
A
J
A
J
D
A
D
A
A
A
But
it
appears
that
it's
much
easier
for
us
as
the
city
to
buy
it
and
then
figure
out
what
to
do
with
it.
If
it
moves
so
I
would
I
would
like
to
move
that.
We
make
it
clear
in
the
contract
information
that
we
turned
over
to
the
city,
that
this
will
be
the
purchase
of
this
work
by
Michael,
Byrne,
Burke
I'm,
the
rest
of
the
specs,
and
things
are
in
the
materials
that
Commissioner
Richards
been
working
with
and
getting
a
contract
written.
But
that
was
a
just
a
nun.
C
A
C
J
We
need
to
establish
a
loan
program
because
you
know
this
is
just
an
issue
that
we
deal
with
the
commission,
that
every
museum
collecting
institution
deals
with
and
it's
just
storage
and
maintenance,
and
once
we
take
a
work
into
our
collection,
we
need
to
take
care
of
it
and
like
forever
so
I,
just
I,
think
I
just
I.
Think
as
another
topic
is,
we
need
to
talk
about
alone
alone,.
A
J
C
That's
why
I'm
saying
for
this
particular
one
the
purchase,
if
that's
what
the
city
is
directing
us
to
do?
Yes,
indeed,
but
we
do
as
commissioner
Gladstone
point
that
we
do
need
to
figure
out
the
loan
process
for
art.
So
yes,
this
one
purchasing
and
then
just
getting
an
update
from
staff
on
where
we
are
in
the
process
and
what
else
is
required
from
the
Commission
and/or
from
our
artists
get
this
wrapped
up.
A
It's
also,
this
is
unusual
because
we're
putting
something
on
private
property
and
a
lot
of
the
there.
There
are
fewer
considerations
than
if
we
were
putting
it
on
the,
but
it's
good
practice
for
perhaps
putting
something
in
the
park
and
putting
some
temporary
installations
on
city
property
in
the
park.
So
you're
right.
We
need
to
cuz,
we've
been
talking
about
possibly
borrowing
some
things
from
Coachella,
and
so
that
is
a
whole
other
easement
question
or
insurance.
I
A
I
Just
says:
use
of
these
two
site
without
house
is
intended
for
temporary
art
installations
in
funded
by
the
Palm
Springs
er.
That's
right.
C
A
Just
being
very
he's
very
interested
in
having
some
something
happened,
downtown
on
this
property,
but
they
you
know,
there's
so
many
consideration
to
that
when
construction
will
start
on
things,
what's
gonna
happen
to
the
park
until
then,
and
so
it's
like
this
sign
is
a
teaser
and
then
Michael's
pieces.
You
know
a
piece
of
art
in
the
pit
and
then
we'll
see
when
the
babies
get
here.
A
Proper,
that's
right,
which
is
interesting
now
if
it
was
a
mural
and
you
could
see
it
on
his
property.
J
A
A
C
A
D
A
C
B
Would
be
great,
though,
if
someone
could
put
a
motion
on
the
table
and
state
exactly
what
we
just
went
over,
because
it's
now
going
to
be
the
purchase
of
the
work
temporary
install
temporarily
installed
at
this
site.
So
if
Russell
or
whomever
wanted
to
make
that
motion,
that
would
be
wonderful
and
then
we
can
include
that
going.
Should
we
need
to
sorry.
C
I
L
I
D
I
H
I
C
A
I
A
D
A
K
Everyone,
yes
in
the
original
proposal,
installation
was
included
in
the
budget,
not
the
installation
with
also
consideration
that
the
agreement
was
that
there
would
be
the
option
to
to
donate
the
piece
to
the
city
at
the
end
of
the
temporary.
So
as
as
usual
to
the
the
cost
of
the
installation
was
not
included,
I
think
I
think
the
original
one
you
know,
because
we
did
a
few
I
think
the
original
one.
Actually
we
did,
but
then,
as
we
adjust
at
the
site
and
also
the
budget,
the
installation
was
not
included
in
the
final
I
think.
K
D
K
K
B
And
I'll
also
add
is
note
in
the
contracts
that
we've
used
and
the
standard
contracts
we've
used
to
purchase
our
it
states
in
there
that
we
will
offer
the
city
always
refers
to
the
artist.
Should
we
need
to
be
on
maintenance,
installation,
D
installation
that
we
will
always
try
to
work
with
them
first,
just
to
maintain
the
integrity
of
the
work,
so
at
the
installation,
that's
great.
If
you're
available
on
your
contractors,
then-
and
if
we
need
it,
we
will
refer
to
you
yeah.
A
C
B
D
D
H
C
C
A
A
H
Yeah
I'm
Richard
Ram
Huff,
our
am
HOF
f,
as
in
Frank
and
I'm,
a
director
of
marketing
for
desert,
Regional
Medical
Center
and
have
been
involved
as
the
artist
and
Warren
brand
have
been
working
on
the
installation
of
the
project.
I
just
came
by
to
reiterate
the
hospital
support
for
this
mural.
It's
now
up
there,
as
you
know,
and
looking
great
looks
better
than
the
drawings.
Even
so
we're
very
excited
about
it,
and
it
certainly
reflects
our
commitment
to
health
insurance
and
health
healthy
living
within
our
our
city.
H
D
A
A
A
H
Do
have
a
question
just
sidebar:
do
you
plan
on
a
second
mural
or
is
our
second
mural
site?
We?
We
have
not
discussed
that
this
was
an
opportunity
that
kind
of
came
up
because
of
the
cover
of
California
project
right
and
so
before
that
we
hadn't
really
thought
much
about
where
murals
would
go
so
I
certainly
can
take
that
idea
back
to
leadership.
H
There
is
another
white
wall
in
that
same
section,
I
think
that
was
what
it
was
an
interesting
process
of
trying
to
find
an
appropriate
wall
that
was
visible
but
of
an
appropriate
size
for
the
look
of
the
campus.
You
know
we
want
to
make
sure
that
we,
you
know
honor
the
architecture
that's
already
on
there,
which
is
quite
significant,
so
but
yeah
I,
don't
think
it's
out
of
the
question
we
just
haven't
really
considered
it.
Yeah.
A
H
It's
a
well,
it
doesn't
seem
to
be,
but
it's
a
well
traffic
street
back
there
and
there's
a
lot
of
a
lot
of
folks
going
to
the
school
a
lot
of
folks
coming
and
going
to
work
and
just
neighbors
walking
their
dogs
by
you
see
quite
a
lot
of
traffic,
so
I
think
it
gets
good
visibility.
Lastly,
are
you
satisfied
with
the
with
the
public
art
piece?
That's
in
front
of
the
hospital?
Oh
yeah
we
haven't.
We
certainly
haven't
talked
about
it
in
some
time,
but
it's
an
amazing
piece
and
I
think
it's.
L
Thank
you
so
much
for
coming
in,
as
I
mentioned
before,
I
drove
by
and
was
so
impressed
and
how
it
looked.
You're,
the
head
of
marketing
and
I'm,
wondering
if
you're
doing
any
kind
of-
or
maybe
you
already
have
some
press
event
to
announce
it,
and
wouldn't
that
be
a
great
time
to
also
include
our
new
mural
ordinance
to
be
discussed
and
as
we
could
tie
in
possibly
a
press
event.
Yeah.
H
G
H
A
L
A
A
Artist
is
very
happy
to
talk
about
it
and
apparently
went
to
see
Odie
and
they're
running
a
video
about
him
on
their
Facebook
page
and
stuff
as
an
alum
who's
doing
this
okay.
So
we
have
there's
a
resolution
that
you
have,
which
is
basically
a
resolution
approving
the
art
mural
at
Desert
Regional,
and
we
need
to
fill
in
the
blank.
So
it
says
be
it
resolved
that
the
public
Arts
Commission
recommends
approval
of
the
mural
and
I
would
like
to
move
this,
that
we
send
this
resolution
to
the
City
Council
I'll.
H
A
A
Without
completely
yeah
it
can
it
comes
true
if,
with
the
mailing
fees,
it
used
to
be
like
$2,500,
which
and
four
months
at
least
to
get
through
all
the
Commission's,
so
I
think
we've
made
a
lot
of
progress
and
but
I
think
we
should
the
now
if
we
can
just
sort
of
spread
the
story
using
this
okay.
Well,
thank
you
and
it's
lovely
to
meet.
B
L
You
so,
as
my
personal
work,
life
has
changed
immensely
since
I
first
joined
this
commission
in
my
time
is
somewhat
limited
and
I
do
my
best
to
get
to
as
many
events
as
I
can
and
I.
Don't
have
the
luxury
of
that
kind
of
time,
but
I've
always
believed
that
what
each
of
us
is
here
for
is
to
bring
a
certain
level
of
strength
in
what
our
backgrounds
are.
L
So
I
was
really
excited,
as
you
know,
and
I
first
found
someone
who
I
thought
was
going
to
deal
with
what
I
saw
over
and
over
again
as
the
ongoing
problem
of
wow.
We're
doing
all
these
great
things
and
nobody
knows
about
them.
So
last
meeting
we
approved
the
contract
for
Maddalena
Garza
to
come
on
board
I.
Don't
I
have
a
report
that
she
prepared,
which
is
really
great,
that
just
kind
of
talks
about
what
she's
done
we
had
the
issue
about.
L
There
is
the
public
city
of
Palm,
Springs,
public
art,
Commission
page
that
she's
sent
materials
for,
but
in
the
meantime
she
is
posting
specifically
to
our
non
official
page
and
one
of
the
things
that
I
really
am
impressed
about.
Anyone
that
really
knows
anything
about
social
media
is
the
only
way
you
really
get.
L
Any
traction
is
to
have
constantly
changing
images,
products
whatever,
and
so
she
has
been
able
to,
because
as
I
was
trying
to
do
it
as
a
just
a
commissioner,
and
it
was
pretty
erratic
and
I'd
find
something,
and
then
you
find
like
for
three
days:
you'd
post
and
then
you
go
like
oh
wow,
I
haven't
posted
in
a
month.
So
having
someone,
that's
giving
us
that
ongoing
presence
she
has
been
at
our
events.
L
I
know
that
she's
reached
out
to
a
number
of
members
of
the
Commission
to
get
feedback
as
well
and
will
continue
to
do
so.
One
of
the
things
that's
not
in
her
report
that
I
will
be
sure
to
bring
at
the
next
meeting
is
the
admin
reports
that
come
to
us
about
the
increase
in
traffic
and
who's.
Looking
at
our
page,
whatever
and
I'm
laughing,
because
we
had
a
sixteen
hundred
percent
increase
in
the
number
of
people
looking
at
her
page
which,
but.
D
L
Nice
is
we
now
have
a
baseline,
so
one
of
the
things
that
I've
said
all
along
that
to
me
is
very
important
in
going
ahead
with
this
project,
and
that
is
measurable
that,
at
the
end
of
our
six
months
we
can
say
yes,
Wow,
look
at
we've
grown
this
or
wow
that
initial
1,600,
it
kind
of
stopped
there
I,
don't
think
so.
I've
been
extremely
impressed
with
the
content,
the
ongoing
amount
of
content,
and
she,
even
if
you
noticed
in
the
report,
posted
images
that
she's
been
posting
as
well
on
Instagram.
A
But
it's
you
know
it's
it's
spreading
and
then
people
are
sending
things
to
this
page.
So
we'll
see
I
mean
it.
The
whole
idea
is,
it
was
a
ended
up
being
I.
Think
five
months
contract
cause
it
started
later,
but
to
to
see
if,
in
fact,
we
could
build
a
whole
social
media
presence
and
we'll
know
by
the
end
of
it,
and
they
do
give
you
a
lot
of
numbers
of
how
many
people
yeah.
L
And
what
I
will
ask
her
to
do
for
the
next
meeting
is
one
and
had
asked
for
this
earlier,
but
a
list
of
where,
in
addition,
she's
posting,
what
other
group
she's
reaching
out
to
and
for
myself
I
will
not
necessarily
include
all
of
you
but
I'm
going
to
ask
her
to
prepare
for
me
and
we'll
share
with
you.
So
now
what
do
I
do
with
it?
How
can
I
be
more
effective
as
a
commissioner
with
what
she's
posting
on
social
media?
Is
it
just
sharing
it?
Is
there
a
better
way
of
sharing
it?
I
Good
question
about
name
so
coming
from
my
I
did
mention
to
her
that
and
I
think
I
mentioned
it
to
her
I
think
it
should
be
something
we
talked
about.
Putting
the
ass
on
arts.
I
know
it
sounds
very,
very
minor,
but
if
the
name
is
Public,
Arts,
Commission
I
think
the
S
always
should
be
on
everything.
I
A
Great
and
if
anyone
hasn't
talked
to
her,
you
know
about
the
kinds
of
things
that
you're
working
on
and
you
would
like
to
have
some
it's
just
and
we're
just
trying
to
see
if
we
can
amplify
what
we're
doing
so.
Okay,
the
last
item
on
the
agenda
is
any
Commissioner
comments,
reports
or
requests
so
I
think
we've
covered
a
lot
yeah.
C
D
Have
a
commissioner
comment:
I
just
I'm
really
excited
about
the
30th
anniversary
idea
and
look
forward
to
working
on
it
and
did
I
steal
your
comment
but
I
like
the
idea.
It's
you
know,
good
timing
for
us
and
I
think
it
this
idea
of
focusing
on
our
collections
and
things
that
help
to
give
us
like
a
little
focus
for
the
programs
for
next
year.
So
hopefully
it'll
all
come
together
in
a
nice
way
that
we
can
really.
You
know,
kick
it
off
in
October
and
then
build
on
it
throughout
the
next
year.
A
Try
to
meet
once
this
month
and
on
the
next
agenda,
we'll
we'll
look
at
any
plans
that
are
coming.
It's
not
all
gonna
happen
at
once,
but
if
and
and
take
take
with
you
the
schedule
of
all
the
events
this
year
and
see
which
ones
fit
into
next
year,
what
kinds
of
things
and
in
the
meantime,
do
you
have
any
Commissioners
for
this?
Is
our
ship
as
event?
Do
you
need
people
with
someone?
Are
you.
I
A
We,
the
city
budgets,
us
a
certain
amount
to
spend
in
a
given
year,
with
the
proviso
that
at
some
point,
I
mean
we're
trying
to
track
who
might
ask
for
a
reimbursement.
So
we
can't.
However,
at
the
moment,
great
development
is
the
big
contributor
people
doing
smaller,
either
residential
or
commercial
developments.
I,
don't
think,
there's
anyone
on
the
horizon,
who
has
contributed
enough
money
that
they're
going
to
try
to
buy
their
own
piece
of
art
and
and
put
it
back,
which
is
sort
of
the
way
this
fund.
A
A
A
A
It
could
get
used
up
if
we
were
able
to
do
something
quite
important
with
the
downtown
park,
which
seems
like
the
perfect
place
for
public
art.
So
we
have.
We
have
ability
to
do
that,
but
if
it's
funny
I
think
there's
only
one
other
budget
like
sustainability
or
somebody
that's
its
own
fund
within
the
city
as
it
gets
funded
just.
