Do you love fireworks? So do we! But keep in mind, it's illegal to sell or use fireworks in the city limits of Plano, Texas.

Fireworks can be very dangerous if used improperly. In 2019, more than 10,000 firework injuries were treated in the emergency room.

Are sparklers considered fireworks? Yes! Most of the injuries to children are caused by sparklers, including burns and eye-impaling injuries. Sparklers burn at up to 1,800 fahrenheit.

Firecrackers also cause series injuries to eyes and hands.

So how should you enjoy fireworks? We recommend avoiding injuries and fines and enjoy a professional fireworks display instead.
