Description
Punta Gorda Isles Canal Advisory Committee Special Meeting 06-30-2021
A
B
C
Well,
I
did.
I
did
wonder,
because
several
of
us
got
these
odd
emails.
They
were
obviously
frauds.
I
got
one
from
the
mayor
and
at
least
a
couple
of
people
got
it
from
me
on
the
same
day,
and
I
I
was
suspicious
because
it
was
the
same
message,
but
it
was
it
looked
like
somebody
could
have
gotten
those
addresses
by
going
on
the
city
website
and
picking
up
that
list,
not
that
anybody
was
hacked,
but
that
they
did
some
homework.
C
D
Exactly
can
you
just
make
sure
the
microphone
goes
down
when
you
are
ready
to
speak?
Sometimes
I
can't
hear
you
the
greatest
when
it's
up
there.
C
C
C
We
have
no
minutes
to
approve
we'll
get
them
in
august.
I
guess
when
we
see
that
citizens
comments
on
agenda
items,
you're
welcome
to
make
any
comments.
D
B
B
B
B
Water,
ward,
on
this
overhead,
or
on
this,
drawing
that
boat
limitation
line
should
actually
be
labeled.
The
structure
limitation
line,
the
boat
limitation
line
in
this
particular
application
would
be
determining
by
a
determination
of
the
navigable
channel
and
again
with
the
width
of
the
canal,
approximately
140
feet
wide.
B
B
The
the
boat
lift
is
oriented
to
be
down
the
long
axis
of
the
channel
and
allowing
for
easy
entry,
not
only
for
this
property
but
to
the
for
the
property
to
the
south.
It's
if
at
some
point
they
decide
to
install
a
boat
lift
staff
does
recommend
favorable
consideration
based
on
its
review
of
article
2,
section
2-1
e4
I'd
be
happy
to
answer
any
question
or
display
any
photos
that
you
you
may
may
like
to
see.
A
E
It,
but
just
for
my
own
information
it.
It
seems
to
me
that
this
approach
on
that
to
get
in
on
that
lift
it's
going
to
come
very
close
to
that
existing
lift.
Why
wouldn't
we
have
rotated
that
a
couple
of
degrees,
clockwise
so
you'd
have
a
cleaner
approach.
I
mean
I'm,
not
I
I'm
fine
with
it
the
way
it
is,
I'm
just
wondering
why
why
we
wouldn't
have
made
it
a
little
easier
to
get
in
on
and
off.
A
For
the
record
jake
dye
kiesling
construction-
I
have
been
sworn
in
and
I'm
also
a
member
of
the
committee,
and
so
I
recuse
myself
from
voting
on
on
this
particular
project.
A
So
that's
that's
what
we
did
we
we
try
to
make
it
as
convenient
for
as
easy
for
the
owner
to
get
in
and
out.
We
don't
want
to
violate
the
limitation
line
or
the
structural
limitation
line,
and
we're
also
aware
that
you
guys
are
going
to
look
at
the
impact
that
it
has
on
the
adjacent
property.
So
we
try
and
balance
that
so
we
don't
interfere
with
it
before
I
forget
I
want
to
just
for
the
record.
A
C
B
Well
again,
these
a
lot
of
these
presentations
that
we
have
the
the
engineers
provide
a
disclaimer.
That
says
you
know
that
this
is
not
a
survey,
so
sometimes
they
they
use
existing
structures
based
on
an
aerial
or
aerial
imagery,
which
can
be
accurate
within
a
couple
of
feet.
A
Size
boat,
since
we
know
he
has
a
boat
coming
in.
I
don't
know
about
the
boat,
the
lift's,
a
13
000
pound,
lift,
which
is
footprint
wise.
This
is
exactly
the
same
as
a
10
000
pound
lift,
there's
not
a
lot
of
price
difference
between
the
two
sizes.
We
usually
try
in
these
real
tight
areas.
We
try
to
go
with
the
13
000
as
opposed
to
the
10..
If
the
boat's
a
little
bit
off
balance,
you're
not
going
to
have
a
big
impact
on
the
capacity
of
the
lift
so.
C
C
Second
moved
and
seconded
that's
mr
nabi
and
and
mr
hannan,
all
those
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
aye,
any
opposed
motion
carries
unanimously.
C
A
You
guys,
thank
you,
thank
you,
staff
and
everybody
too,
for
helping
make
this
thing
go.
Please
pass
it
on
to
kathy.
