B
A
Hey,
I
am
bradford
gamblin
and
chair
of
the
historic
preservation,
advisory
board
city
of
pontegorta
florida
august
25
2022,
and
it's
being
held
at
the
military
heritage
museum
auditorium
as
construction
is
underway
at
our
usual
quarters
in
the
city.
Building,
I'd
like
to
call
this
ro
to
order,
and
at
that
can
we
have
the
roll
call.
C
D
A
A
F
All
right
good
morning,
beaumont
hanna
urban
design.
Today,
we'll
have
a
few
cas
to
go
over.
The
first
ca
is
20,
I'm
sorry
21
2022,
it's
308
sullivan
street.
This
is
a
sign,
so
action
will
be
required
on
this.
F
C
F
Moving
on
to
the
ca,
this
is
information
only
this
is
ca182022
415
carmelita
street.
This
is
a
roof.
Staff
has
approved
this.
It
is
like
saying
material
mulehide
flat
roof
for
this
structure.
I
don't
know
what
happened
there,
or
did
I
get?
I
apologize.
I
jumped
ahead
on
my
my
sheet.
I
apologize
had
one
stick
to
the
other.
It's
ca172022,
413,
west
olympia,
avenue
again
information.
Only
this
is
a
fence
staff
approved
this.
F
F
Next
was
ca,
192022
for
613,
west
red
esplanade,
again
information
only
they
were
working
on
doors
and
windows,
those
were
like
same
good
replacement
and
finally,
we
have
ca2022565
west
reda
esplanade,
and
this
again
is
information
only
and
it
is
a
roof
staff
approved
this.
It
was
like
same
material
material
for
the
roof.
F
And
we
do
have
an
update
on
this
one
staff
we
went
out.
I
went
out
with
the
the
building
manager,
we
inspected
the
property,
and
we
have
made
the
determination
that
this
structure
no
longer
has
any
thing
that
resembles
or
or
has
any,
more
historic
quality
to
it.
So
we've
made
the
determination-
this
is
no
longer
a
historic
structure
due
to
the
modifications
that
were
made
on
the
structure
itself.
F
A
F
Just
update
on
what's
going
on
with
the
structure
here,.
A
And
there's
nothing
required
of
this
committee.
Other
than
being
aware
of
this
is
that
correct,
okay
and
moving
on.
We
actually
got
a
little
ahead
of
ourselves,
but
maybe
at
the
end
we
can
do
the
pledge.
G
So
for
the
record
mitchell
austin
urban
design,
just
an
update
on
the
on
the
ac
freeman
house,
the
state
did
review
the
the
nomination
for
relisting
the
structure
on
the
national
register
of
historic
places
on
august
4th
and
they
approved
that
nomination
renomination.
G
So
they
are
sending
the
appropriate
paperwork
to
the
keeper
of
the
national
register,
which
federal
office,
of
course,
and
that
that
is
expected
to
go
through
unless
the
keeper
has
additional
questions
or
changes
that
they
want
on
the
nomination
form
additional
information
which
they
can
request.
But
so
we're
we're
excited
about
that.
That
is
another
milestone
in
that
project.
Moving
forward,
city
staff
is
still
working
with
the
the
project
team
not
only
of
this
project,
but
also
of
the
city
hall
project,
to
figure
out
how
to
change,
modify
the
stormwater
management
area.
G
That
is
immediately
behind
the
ac
freeman
house.
That
modification
is
required
in
order
to
facilitate
the
location
of
a
separate
restroom
pavilion
to
be
associated
with
this
property
so
that
it
can
be
used
to
a
maximum
potential
without
altering
the
interior
configuration
of
the
existing
structure.
So
we're
doing
everything
we
can
possibly
do
to
keep
the
the
integrity
of
this
building,
both
exterior
and
interior
intact.
G
That
can
be
a
challenge.
Yes,
it
is
a
challenge.
Indeed,
I've
heard
that,
on
the
other
project
with
city
hall,
the
consultant
is
moving
forward
from
the
30
plans
towards
60
plans,
which
are
anticipated
to
be
presented
to
city
council
and
cra
at
their
october
5th
meeting,
so
that
that
should
still
be
on
track.
G
The
city
is
also
going
through
the
procurement
process
to
engage
a
construction
manager
at
risk
for
that
project.
The
construction
manager
at
risk
is
typically
engaged
at
the
60
design
phase
or
earlier
so
that
they
can
help
review
the
plans
for
constructability
and
possible
cost
savings.
So
we're
on
task
with
that
project
as
well,
which
is,
of
course,
is
a
major
new
building
construction,
but
also
a
significant
historic
rehabilitation
project.
A
And
I
assume
we'll
have
a
theater
like
this.
We'll
have
a
meeting
room
similar
to
this
one.
G
No-
and
it
will
definitely
not
have
stadium
seating,
it
will
be
flat
forward,
but,
yes,
it
will
be
hopefully
sufficient
to
meet
our
needs
both
now
and
into
the
future.
It'll
be
about
100
100
seats
plus
the
dice
seating
yeah.
So
it
it
should
be
much
better
than
the
than
the
old
facility,
but
not
quite
as
grand
as
this
one.
A
And
excellent:
congratulations
because
the
freeman
house
and
everything
has
taken
a
lot
of
people
to
put
that
together.
G
Yes
and
the
the
city
staff
has
in
hand
the
the
contract
for
the
grant
and
we're
just
going
through
the
for
the
gr
state
grant
for
the
ac
freeman
house.
We're
just
going
through
that
just
to
see
that
all
the
eyes
are
dotted
and
teaser
crossed
and
determine
whether
or
not
we
need
to
go
back
to
council
before
or
if
the
city
manager
is
authorized.
To
sign
that.
G
So
there's
some
we're
still
trying
to
figure
that
one
out
a
little
bit,
but
we
definitely
have
the
seven
or
four
hundred
of
yeah
497
thousand
dollar
grant
award
from
the
state,
and
the
clock
will
begin
ticking
once
we
sign
that
for
expenditure
of
those
funds,
so
that
project
will
begin
to
to
move
rapidly.
A
And
my
and
our
congratulations
to
the
staff
for
working
so
diligently
to
obtain
this
grant
and
it
solves
a
wonderful
problem
of
our
history.
G
Yeah,
it
was
putting
the
grant
application
together
was
a
lot
of
hard
work
and
especially
since
we
were
short
staffed,
then
and
still
short
staffed
now
but
yeah
it
was.
It
was
a
monumental
heavy
lift.
Fortunately
I
didn't
have
to
do
any
of
that
one,
but
all
the
credit
goes
to
joan
lebeau
and
former
employee
fabiana
solano.
They
put
most
of
that
together,
along
with
former
employee
julie,
ryan,
so.
D
D
All
right,
so
we've
got
them
back
for
you
guys
again,
so
we
just
as
a
reminder
of
everything.
That's
changed
in
the
bylaws
we've
reorganized
the
information
contained
in
them.
We've
revised
duty
to
indicate
the
board
would
provide
recommendations
on
use
of
any
historic
structures
donated
to
the
city
at
city
council's
request.
D
D
We
revise
duty
j
so
that
you
have
a
duty
that
will
allow
you
to
collaborate
with
community
groups.
We've
added
a
duty
end
to
provide
recommendations
on
parking
waiver
permits.
We
fleshed
out
the
meeting
procedure
in
alignment
with
the
board
member
handbook
and
we
revised
language
regarding
continuances
and
address
allowance
of
alternative
meeting
locations.
D
C
I
moved
to
accept
the
the
bylaw
changes
as
presented.
Second.
E
I
just
have
one
quick
update
if
I
might
certainly,
this
is
regarding
the
proposed
history
walk
at
ponce
de
leon
park.
I
met
on
july
27th
with
kent
kratzler
who's
with
the
local
chapter
of
the
conquistadors
to
discuss
potential
next
steps
in
the
development
of
the
history
rock
and
kent.
Advised
me
at
that
time.
E
That
he's
had
discussions
with
the
city
about
a
timeline,
and
it
looks
like
any
estimated
timeline
for
a
redesign
of
ponce
park
is
probably
because
we'll
have
to
wait
for
the
relocation
of
the
peace,
river
wildlife
center
and
also
the
availability
of
funds.
It's
likely
to
be
about
five
years
away.
That's
what
kent
passed
along
to
me
from
discussions
that
he's
had
and
based
on
that
length
of
time
it's
pretty
difficult
to
get
support
or
to
seek
financial
assistance
from
private
entities,
because
it's
a
lot
of
uncertainty.
E
What's
going
to
happen
the
next
five
years
plus
during
that
five
year
time
period,
the
plans
for
redeveloping
the
park
might
change
and
the
design
issues
might
change
and
the
features
of
the
price.
So
we
don't
really
know
enough
at
this
point
in
time
and
also
there
could
be
a
change
in
the
city
and
community
leadership
and
priorities.
So
at
this
point
in
time,
kent
and
I
agreed
that
we're
going
to
put
a
pause
on
our
activities
until
we
get
a
little
bit
closer,
but
we've
got
everything
ready.
E
We've
got
an
executive
summary,
we've
got
talking
points,
we've
got
a
presentation
so
that
when
we
do
get
to
the
point
of
redesign
we'll
be
sort
of
poised
to
reintroduce
the
topic
and
it'll
be
more
timely,
we'll
have
a
better
handle
on
things
like
costs
and
who
might
be
willing
to
provide
financial
support
for
it.
But
we've
got
that
where
we're
just
going
to
put
a
pause
on
for
the
time
being,
it's
not
over
and
in
addition,
he
and
I
also
had
a
discussion
about
updating
the
signage.
E
That's
near
the
ponce
de
leon
fountain
in
gilchrist
park.
We
had
talked
about
this
at
a
previous
meeting.
The
sign
itself
is
in
pretty
bad
condition.
It's
pretty
physically
weathered
and
also
the
historical
information
on
it
is
sort
of
outdated
and
probably
needs
to
be
revised.
So
he's
going
to
go
back
and
chat
with
the
conquistadors,
because
it
would
be
nice
to
have
a
new,
accurate
sign
that
doesn't
look
like
it's
been
too
beat
up
by
the
weather
in
time
for
the
rededication
of
gilchrist
park.
E
A
G
Update
on
on
ponce
leon
park,
city
staff
is
in
receipt
of
the
development
site
plan
developments,
a
drc
application
for
the
peace
river
wildlife
center
at
henry
street,
so
that
is
currently
under
technical
review
by
staff.
There
are
some
things
for
the
city
to
consider,
because
the
peace
rival
wildlife
center
is
proposing
a
developer's
agreement
for
the
production
of
parking.
G
The
parking
is
to
be
on
the
city's
dime,
but
they
went
ahead
and
designed
it
and
they're
requesting
that
the
city
fund
the
construction
to
be
done
by
them,
so
that
is
that
is
coming.
That
is
much
closer
than
we've
been
to
this
point,
so
you
know
real
construction
plans.
G
G
The
budget
for
that
has
been
blown
through
the
roof
with
the
recent
you
know:
labor
and
material
shortages
and
all
of
that
fun
stuff.
So
a
lot
of
inflationary
pressure
on
those
types
of
construction
projects,
but
we
are
we're
working
diligently
to
find
a
way
to
get
that
project
done.
The
plans
have
been
done
for
six
months,
at
least.
C
G
And
we've
had
the
permit
from
the
army
corps
of
engineers,
which
is
the
main
thing
we're
waiting
on,
but
so
little
pieces
are
moving
forward.
Also,
if
you
have
any
questions
on
that,
I'd
be
more
than
happy
to
answer
them.
G
A
Anything
else
from
staff,
any
other
comments,
any
comments
from
those
in
our
audience.
All
three
of
you
quite
a
contrast
from
two
days
ago,
thankfully,
anyway,
thank
you
very
much
for
attending
any
comments
from
our
board
members,
starting
at
the
end.
Anybody
no.
A
Okay,
likewise
and
staff's
all
set,
so
let's
see
what
else
is
there?
Well,
why
don't?
We
do
because
it's
a
good
tradition-
and
I
agree
with
it
and
I
forgot
it
so,
let's
stand
and
pledge
please.
