Description
Description
B
A
Right,
thank
you.
Next
we
go
to
policy
and
legislation
and
under
for
me,
I,
don't
have
in
policy
legislation,
but
I
will
say
that
welcome
Debbie
and
what
you
will
learn
when
you
attend
what
we
call
email
answers:
the
Florida
League
of
Cities
training
for
councilmembers.
This
is
a
time
when
we
can
really
share
and
I
know.
Sometimes
our
meetings
can
get
late,
but
this
is
the
only
time
we
have
to
talk
to
each
other,
so
I
really
invite.
A
A
So
if
there's
anything
that
comes
up,
then
you
know
please
share
bring
it
up,
and
hopefully,
while
I'll
be
patient
and
willing
to,
as
our
stomachs
are
growling
we'll
be
willing
to
listen
and
the
other
thing
I
think
Karen
you've
been
really
good
about
as
the
ribbon
cuttings
and
things
like
that
that
we
rotate
at
least
have
someone
from
Council
at
these.
So
if
we
can
continue
that
and
I
know,
they're
not
always
I
think
I
seem
to
get
things
from
the
chamber
that
there
are
other
ones
or
that
we
might
miss.
But
you.
B
B
C
E
A
C
A
It's
important
that
people
down
here
they
may
not
be
physically
within
the
city
limits,
but
they
might
feel
that
they
feel
they're
Punta
Gorda
and
they
are
yeah
so
okay,
so
if
you
can
include
those
that
would
be
great
and
other
that
I'm
just
honored
too
well,
sir
incorrect
congratulations.
Lynn
thank.
E
C
E
C
G
C
Just
want
to
share
a
couple
of
things
about
the
NPO
meeting
that
we
had
last
last
week
we
had
another
spirited
discussion
regarding
the
Nesbitt
Street
intersection
I,
think
it's
been
put
to
bed
and
I
think
we're
not
gonna
change
the
intersection,
based
on
lengthy
discussions
with
Commissioner
Constance.
He
actually
went
to
the
bank
and
discussed
getting
some
of
their
green
space
for
right
away
to
develop
another
turn
lane
over
there
and
the
FDOT
district
secretary,
opined
that
that
wouldn't
make
any
difference
for
the
line
of
sight.
C
So
we
are
at
this
point
not
moving
forward
with
any
changes
at
that
intersection
and,
secondly,
the
FDOT
is
moving
forward
with
intersection
and
at
carmelita
Street
and
41.
They
have
bypassed
the
planning
and
engineering
stage
they're
going
right
into
the
production
stage
of
getting
this
thing
up
and
running.
C
What
they're
going
to
do
is
they're
going
to
put
a
traffic
light
there
to
define
the
traffic
and
then
at
the
same
time,
and
it's
scheduled
for
about
2020,
timewise
and
then
and
their
schedule
they're
also
planning
on
repaving
from
I
believe
it's
Williams
Street
all
the
way
to
the
bridge
on
41.
So
it's
gonna
all
be
done
simultaneously,
so
I
just
wanted
to
share
that.
That's
about
the
only
really
important
new
stuff!
That's
that's
a.
C
E
A
C
C
A
G
A
B
C
H
Sam
Castronovo
Seminole,
Lakes
I
do
have
one
question
on
the
October
3rd
meeting
minutes
there
were
the
staff
was
directed
to
provide
a
phased
approach
to
funding
for
the
Veterans
Park.
Speaking
of
the
veterans.
Is
anything
been
forthcoming
on
that
yet
and
then
I
would
ask
about
the
construction
funding,
because
this
is
for
design
funding,
phase
to
design
funding.
No.
H
H
A
I
I
There's
a
sensor
there,
it
would
free
up
a
whole
lot
of
aggravation.
I
have
my
doubts
that
there
are
sensors
on
both
sides
of
Nesbit
and
on
West
Marion,
because
I've
sat
there,
where
there's
no
traffic
at
all
and
had
to
wait
for
a
red
light
that
could
improve
that
intersection
and
get
a
rid
of
half
of
your
complaints
more
than
likely,
even
though
it's
the
right-hand
turn
that
people
want
to
make.
If
it
came
sooner,
they
wouldn't
complain
so
much
well.
D
Sir,
yes
hi
for
the
record
Ricky
no
public
works
director
yeah
there
there's
their
sensors
of
some
type
at
all.
The
d-o-t
intersections,
sometimes
you'll,
see
them
up
on
the
mast.
Arm
it'll
be
like
a
little
white
camera.
If
you
will,
in
its
sensors
the
cars
they're
getting
away
from
them
being
in
the
asphalt,
but
you'll
still
see
them
loops
in
the
asphalt,
but
most
of
them
will
be
up
on
them
on
a
pole
and
and
that
helps
if
there's
no
traffic,
usually
late
at
night.
I
E
I
C
Can
ask
them
to
look
into
it
they're.
Their
typical
answer
is
that
they
had.
They
have
an
issue
with
the
amount
of
time
traffic
must
clear
the
intersection
going.
The
other
direction
before
they'll
alter
the
light
cycle,
and
we
just
had
this
discussion.
I
brought
forward
mayor
traffic
ease
of
email
that
she
had
sent
to
us
regarding
some
intersections
that
we
wanted
to
take
a
look
at
and
FDOT
has
promised
that
they
will
look
at
them.
I
can
ask
them
about
that.
I,
don't
know.
C
If
it'll
make
a
difference,
we
have
an
issue
there
with
the
line
of
sight
coming
southbound
on
Nesbit.
That's
really
part
of
the
biggest
part
of
the
problem,
because
the
buildings
are
zero
clearance
on
the
corners
there.
So
that
was
the
issue
with
putting
a
right-hand
turn
lane
and
a
right
turn
on
red
there.
After.
I
C
F,
do
T's
adamantly
opposed
to
doing
that
because
of
the
line
of
sight
and
even
with
a
turn
lane
of
adding
a
third
lane
to
the
right
of
that
I
agree
with
it.
Would
it
wouldn't
be
a
safety?
It
would
be
a
very
big
safety
issue
so
but
I'll
ask
him
about
the
lights.
Inc
would
say
and
see.
If
there's
anything
that
can
be
done.
F
Good
afternoon
Gary
skillet
corn,
in
light
of
all
that's
transpired
recently.
Perhaps
this
is
a
little
bit
anticlimactic
and
old,
old
news,
but
nonetheless
very
important
again.
The
Punta
Gorda
Halloween
festivities
have
outdone
previous
year's.
It
seems
like
it
doubles.
Every
year
it's
been
quite
a
gathering
and
numbers
must
be
in
the
thousands
first
I
want
to
thank
the
city
and
the
city
staff
and
the
volunteers
for
their
presentation
in
the
City
Hall
activity.
F
It
was
very
nicely
done
and
a
very
nice,
very
nice
touch,
but
there's
a
more
more
important
side
that
I
want
to
present.
I
know
that
that
I
have
provided
to
all
the
council
members
and
to
Howard
and
and
to
the
police
chief
Davis
about
an
incident
that
occurred
on
Marian,
Avenue
and
I.
Think
this
was
really
the
waking
point
for
me.
Previous
years,
I've
gone
to
the
West
Marion
Halloween
festivities,
fantastic
everybody
enjoys
it,
but
in
previous
years
I
I
thought
to
myself
gee.
This
is
really
maybe
an
accident
waiting
to
happen.
F
F
What
I'd
like
to
do,
and
I
really
have
presented
this
to
the
council,
already-
is
to
encourage
next
year
to
give
thoughts
about
leaving
Marian
as
a
walking
Road
only
at
least
for
the
few
hours,
the
time
and
maybe
adjacent
roads
as
well
too,
but
a
well
well
develop
plan.
I
want
to
thank
Howard
for
taking
that
I
guess
already
to
the
police
chief
and
evaluating
plans
to
do
it.
F
K
John
Sabatini
Gary
just
sparked
something,
and
it
was
actually
one
of
our
council
meetings.
Maybe
a
few
weeks
ago,
we're
talking
about
people
running
across
from
Dean's
to
the
empty
lot
in
the
parking
and
I.
Think
someone
even
made
a
comment
that
it's
just
a
matter
of
time
before
something
happens:
I
just
want
to
throw
something
out.
I
was
thinking
about
this,
something
to
think
about.
K
I
know,
there's
sidewalks
there
and
then
there's
a
little
bit
of
grass
and
then
the
curb
something
to
think
about,
possibly
maybe
a
six
foot,
nice
wrought
iron
fence
or
some
way
that
would
force
the
people
to
have
to
go
on
the
intersections,
there'd
be
no
way
for
them
to
run
across
and
and
jump
a
small
fence
or
whatever
that
they'd
have
to
be
on
the
ends
of
the
blocks
where
it's
safe,
just
something
to
think
about
in
the
future.
Thank
you
thank.
