From YouTube: City Council Meeting 11-15-17 Part 3
Description
Description
A
We
had
the
cart
before
the
horse
for
decades
and
we
finally
found
out
whether
we
could
permit
it.
In
the
first
place
we
were
trying
having
discussions,
we're
gonna
have
this.
It's
gonna
happen
in
18
months.
We
hadn't
even
applied
for
a
permit,
yet
I
may
have
heard
all
these
discussions
from
the
numbers
of
people
around
the
community
we've
gotten
this
far.
This
is
not
at
the
time
that
we
want
to
start
putting
a
little
bit
of
fly
in
the
ointment.
I
think
it's
time
for
us
to
stand
forward,
be
leaders
and
go
forward.
A
C
B
D
A
I
think
I
think
that
as
a
body,
we
should
say
that
we
need
to
go
forward.
I,
don't
think
we've
been
like
I
said
this
is
this
argument.
This
discussion
has
been
going
on
for
decades
as
leaders
we
should
have
a
assessment
of
whether
the
general
community
wants
to
go
and
what's
best
for
the
community
and
it's
time
to.
D
A
A
A
F
A
C
E
Would
I
would
say
we
is
a
is
a
subset
of
the
entire
community.
There
are
groups
of
people
who
have
been
talking
about
this
for
decades,
but
it
is
not
everybody
and
I
think
it's
a
great
project
but
I.
You
know
from
my
experience
and
where
I
represent.
You
know
in
my
district.
It
is
something
where
we
I
would
not
come
to
council
and
ask
for
council
to
make
a
decision
on
something
that
our
homeowners
have
not
weighed
in
on
and
I
feel
that
that's
swayed.
E
Taken
we've
had
meetings
as
well,
we've
had.
We
have
had
meetings
to
discuss,
I.
B
C
At
sewer
in
septic
in
Charlotte
County
talking
a
million
times
is
a
net
benefit
period,
and
yet
people
who
really
XE
voiced
a
lot
of
opposition
to
it,
but
ultimately
we're
improving
on
their
property
improving
their
way
of
life.
And
this
is
one
of
those
things
where
this
is
actually
good
for
the
residents
and
we're
just
making.
A
A
B
Not
taking
comments
from
the
public,
thank
you.
So
no
straw
poll.
B
H
Ahead,
Jenna
black
way,
Public
Works,
Department
sanitation
supervisor.
Today
we're
gonna
be
going
over
carts.
The
different
options
for
the
size
isn't
a
few
of
our
recommendations
from
staff.
So
right
now
we're
changing
our
service
or
manual
collection
is
semi
automated
for
residential.
This
has
no
effect
on
commercial
multifamily
that
utilizes
dumpsters
or
yard
waste
or
commercial.
So
this
is
only
for
residential
the
new
trucks
on
the
right.
That's
our
new
trucks
are
gonna,
be
looking
like
the
ones
we're
gonna
be
getting,
hopefully
in
the
January
into
February
the
tippers
on
the
back.
H
That's
gonna
be
the
new
part
that
we're
gonna
be
using
now
with
the
carts
that
we're
gonna
be
ordering.
So
that's
gonna
be
helping
with
the
guys
with
our
injuries,
hopefully
reducing
those.
The
damages
are
shoulder
from
lifting
the
heavy
carts
that
residents
are
using
now.
So
this
is
the
new
portion.
That's
gonna,
be
added
onto
our
trucks.
H
H
B
H
Right
now,
the
48
gallon
is
a
size
of
your
recycling,
cart,
okay,
yep
so
fairly
similar.
The
32
is
gonna,
be
close
to
what
you're
using
now.
That's
the
Mack
zyz
for
garbage
at
the
moment,
but
those
are
the
carts
that
residents
can
go
out
and
buy
using
a
little
bit
different,
they're
more
square
than
the
ones
you
can
buy
in
the
store,
but
they're
pretty
similar
in
size.
H
H
The
cart
size
survey,
we're
gonna
survey,
the
residents
on
cart
size
using
a
web
form.
So
we
have
an
idea:
the
ratio
of
cart
sizes
to
order.
If
a
resident
is
unable
to
complete
the
form
online
or
prefers
their
selection,
we
made
over
the
phone,
they
can
contact
Public,
Works
directly
and
we'll
do
the
online
process
for
them.
If
they
can't
access
it.
H
These
are
our
staff
recommendations
that
residents
not
be
charged
for
the
first
part
of
their
choice.
Residents
will
pay
City
cost
if
they
would
like
an
additional
card
residents
that
do
not
make
a
selection
by
January.
16Th
will
automatically
receive
a
32,
gallon
cart
and
we're
also
gonna.
Do
a
live
demo
of
the
survey
form
just
so
you
can
see
how
it
works.
Okay,.
H
H
Here
at
the
bottom
is
the
link
where
you
go
to
select
your
cart
size
and
it's
very
simple:
all
we
need
is
your
name
and
your
house
number
the
street
name.
If
you
have
a
unit
and
the
very
bottom
is
actually
the
cart
size,
you're
gonna
fill
in
one
of
those
bubbles
and
then
all
you
do
is
click
down
here
to
submit
it.
So
it's
very
easy,
very
simple.
You
can
also
add
in
if
you'd,
like
your
email,
address
and
phone
number,
but
that's
not
required.
H
This
is
the
form
we
looked
at
online.
This
is
the
website
form
just
some
facts
for
the
residents
when
they're
looking
over
just
to
see
what
they
can
and
cannot
use
the
cart
for
their
options
and
who
they
can
call
if
they've
any
questions
again.
This
is
a
survey
forward
and
just
wanted
to
show
it
to
you
and
on
the
PowerPoint.
Also
the
way
we're
gonna
get
the
word
out
about
the
survey.
We're
gonna.
H
Do
a
press
release,
email
notifications,
use
a
website
news
item,
Facebook
Twitter
utility
bill,
we're
gonna,
put
a
small
blip
on
the
bottom,
so
all
residents
will
see
it
whether
it's
electronic
or
the
paper
bill.
So
dope
you
owner,
no
matter
what
and
we're
also
gonna
go
different
associations.
Hoa
is
get
the
word
out,
take
the
carts
with
us,
so
they
can
see
the
cart
sizes
and
get
to
look
at
that
way.
H
B
E
B
E
H
F
J
E
A
Just
question
I
think
it's
I
have
the
answer
to
it:
I
think
the
temperatures
Rick,
so
a
number
of
us
actually
I
have
one
that's
almost
identical
to
the
96
gallon
ones.
It's
not
going
to
meet
the
criteria.
Okay,
okay,
I
want
to
be
environmentally
friendly.
How
can
I
it
be?
Can
I
be
assured
that
we're
gonna
recycle
those
things
of?
How
are
we
do
that
for.
H
Recycling
the
cards
so
we're
actually
hiring
a
different
company
so
later
on
to
me,
a
separate
press
release
a
whole
separate
project,
we're
gonna
schedule
different
days
to
collect
your
plastic
and
your
metal
containers.
So
unless
you
want
to
use
them
for
yard
waste
or
other
uses
around
your
house,
if
you
would
like
to
get
rid
of
them,
we'll
come
collect
those
later
on
and
we'll
recycle
them
with.
That
company
will
actually
a
little
bit
of
money
back
from
that
recycling.
That's.
A
A
G
H
H
That
is
correct,
yeah,
because
some
people
are
still
gonna
have
just
an
individual
bag.
They're
gonna
have
furniture,
they're
gonna
have
bigger
bulk
items,
so
we're
gonna
have
to
sell
someone
in
the
back
going
out
there
and
picking
rolling
the
card
over
hooking
on
the
tipper
and
then
emptying
it.
So
we're
still
down
two
people
per
truck.
Okay,
great.
H
B
H
So
when
we
deliver
the
carts,
we're
actually
doing
brochures,
we're
gonna
do
go
over
that.
The
next
presentation,
the
next
agenda
item-
we're
gonna,
do
print
out
a
job
for
a
Shores
to
go
with
the
carts,
a
vault
facts
and
therefore
the
residents
how
to
put
them
out
all
that's
gonna,
be
covering
those
brochures.
Hope
they'll
help
with
education
are.
H
B
A
H
You,
the
last
thing
I
want
to
mention
so
I've
met
with
waste
management
representatives
in
the
city
of
North
Port.
A
couple
of
their
recommendations
were
especially
north
ports,
and
this
is
a
new
program
with
the
residents
and
people.
Some
people
don't
like
change.
We
can
also
take
requests
if
someone
does
not
want
a
cart
if
they
do
not
want
to
participate
in
this
program
yet,
but
they
need
to
let
us
know
by
that
January
16th
deadline,
because
the
problem
is,
if
we
take
them
a
cart,
the
standard
size
once
we
assemble
it.
H
E
I've
actually
had
some
people
comment
to
me
that
they
actually
own
a
cart
exactly
like
one
of
these
can
I
use
the
one
I
actually
have
already
so
the
city
doesn't
have
to
buy,
one
I
am
I.
Thinking
was
I,
don't
know
that
your
cart
is
exactly
but
I'll.
Let
you
be
the
professional
to
give
me
the
answer.
Sure.
H
Well,
they
can
keep
using
it.
I
mean
because
the
tippers
that
we're
gonna
have
on
the
carts
they're
supposed
to
be
universal,
no
matter
what
brand,
what
size
they
should
still
work
with
the
tippers
and
some
customers
are
gonna,
have
multiple
containers.
Some
people
use
three
or
four
containers
every
single
pick-up
day.
So
that's
fine
if
they
want
to
use
that,
in
addition,
it's
when
we
deliver
or
they
can
request
that
they
do
not
want
one.
So
the
same.
B
B
I
Good
morning,
Jason
skinny
with
the
police
department
I
just
wanted
to
take
a
couple
moments
and
talk
about
some
justice
center
security
upgrades
that
are
gonna
be
happening.
It's
important
to
know,
through
this
discussion
that
it's
gonna
be
very
narrowly
and
specifically
focus
just
on
one
topic.
Today.
The
Justice
Center
folks
are
going
through
some
upgrades,
but
information
is
confidential
and
exempt
from
public
disclosures.
We
certainly
don't
want
to
describe
their
security
plans
here
at
this
discussion.
I
I
know
John
Embry
from
he's
the
administrative
services
manager
over
the
courthouse
is
also
here
just
to
add
any
comments
or
answer
any
questions
you
may
have.
The
issue
that
was
asked
to
bring
up
this
morning
was
regarding
the
one
area
of
the
property
which
is
on
the
north
side
of
the
property.
There
is
an
access
driveway
on
the
north
side
that
basically
runs
between
beretta
and
MLK.
That
area
has
been
talked
about
to
be
closed
off
to
the
public
traffic,
which
is
currently
open.
I
I
It's
a
very
narrow
practice
for
the
north,
very
north
access
roadway
there.
The
proposal
that
that
is
being
considered
is
to
restrict
access
between
8
a.m.
and
5
p.m.
Monday
through
Friday.
There
has
been
a
variety
of
meetings
that
have
already
occurred
on
on
the
different
security
issues
out
there.
One
of
the
concessions
that's
been
talked
about
is
to
provide
public
safety
keycard
access,
basically,
so
that
we
would
still
have
the
ability
to
get
through,
but
obviously
that
would
stop
the
public
room
from
getting
through
during
those
hours.
I
Really,
it's
just
an
item
for
a
discussion
at
this
point
for
any
discussion
to
go
forward
to
the
county.
They
they
haven't
even
brought
their
project
to
the
county
for
consideration
or
any
approval
at
this
point
in
time.
This
is
just
simply
just
an
opportunity
for
us
to
weigh
in
and
again
any
final
final
consideration
comments
that
they
want
that
we
as
the
city
you
want
to
make
sure
they
want
to
hear
from.
G
Court
administration
appreciate
you
guys
taking
the
time
and
putting
this
on
the
agenda
today.
I
think
it's
important
to
you
to
note
that
the
original
discussions
with
the
security
consultants
was
to
actually
take
control
of
that
road
defense
that
off
and
permanently
gated
24/7
every
single
day
of
the
week,
the
commissioners
and
some
other
folks
in
the
community.
Certainly
the
city
we've
heard
that
that
was
met
with
some
serious
concern.
G
We
get
that
so
the
security
committee
is
looking
at
trying
to
come
up
with
a
compromise
plan
and
we
think
that
this
certainly
meets
everyone's
needs.
I'll,
be
very
specific
that
my
position
has
been.
We
should
go
with
the
most
secure
arrangement
that
Consultants
have
looked
forward,
but
also
understanding
the
the
community
and
the
fact
that
that
area
has
become
very
vital
to
this
the
nature,
walk
and
the
memorial.
We
want
to
make
sure
that
we
still
provide
access.
G
Also,
it's
important
to
note
the
points
of
where
these
gates
would
be,
because
I
think
the
access
to
that
wall
is
is
key.
That
gate
coming
off
of
the
road
in
the
parking
area
is
being
proposed
right
at
the
corner
of
the
building.
So
anyone
that
still
wanted
to
access
that
road
and
get
into
say
the
public
Justice
Center
parking
area
would
still
have
the
access
anyone,
if
they
I
believe
there's
discussions
about
putting
parking
spaces
by
the
wall
would
still
have
access
to
those.
G
B
G
I
think
it
goes
without
saying:
what's
going
on
right
now
in
society
and
the
important
security
emphasis
on
certain
facilities
as
being
targets
for
issues,
so
we've
brought
in
the
National
Center
for
State
Courts,
a
number
of
consultants
from
them
that
happened
about
four
or
five
years
ago,
we've
brought
in
the
Department
of
Homeland
Security.
We
brought
in
another
security
consultant
as
part
of
the
remodel
project
from
Newcombe
and
Boyd.
G
Another
individual
who's
got
over
30
years
in
the
business,
so
we
were
received
at
least
three
different
reports
that
say
that
that
back
road
is
of
concern
and
needs
to
be
addressed.
So
we
are
trying
to
do
everything
we
can
to
address
that
issue,
and
we
appreciate
your
consideration
and
and
taking
this
up,
we
want
to
be
good
partners
in
the
community
and
thank
you
very
much
for
the
time
today.
Yeah.
G
Talking
about
that,
that's
gonna
into
being
a
policy
issue
with
the
different
departments.
So
again,
a
lot
of
this
stuff
is
very
preliminary,
so
I
was
I
was
just
happy
to
see
it
on
the
agenda,
but
a
little
bit
surprised
that
it's
already
hit
here,
but
I
understand,
there's
questions
and
we
want
to
certainly
be
open
and
ready
to
discuss
those.
But
yes,
we're
looking
at
as
a
policy
issue
with
the
stakeholders.
Thank
you.
C
Leadership
for
the
court
last,
we
can
ask
their
opinion
and
they
were
saying
more,
it's
kind
of
in
our
Court.
It
was
kind
of
hearing
her
there
and
so
I
mean
personally
I
would
probably
ask
Jason
what
your
thoughts
are
on
this
and
maybe
urban
design.
What
your
thoughts
are
on
this
about
how
you
think
about
this
and
compromise
work.
I
The
biggest
issue
for
Public
Safety
is
just
access.
The
courts
have
already
acknowledged.
That
is
an
issue.
So
as
long
as
we
have
access
to
the
area,
you
know,
however,
it
is
a
Kekoa
proximity
car.
However,
that
ultimately
has
worked
out.
Then
then
those
issues
do,
you
know,
become
less
from
a
public
safety
standpoint.
Oh
that's
really
the
key
issue
for
us.
It's
just
the
available
way
to
get
in
and
out
of
that
area
and.
I
I
Because
they
have
personnel
in
there,
but
we
do
hand,
there
are
some
things
we
handle
outside
and
there
are
certainly
things
the
Sheriff's
Office
I'm.
Sorry,
there
are
some
things
we
handle
inside
and
are
certainly
things
the
sheriff's
office
handles
outside.
But
that's
generally,
the
kind
of
understanding
we
have.
G
G
Within
that
area
too,
because
we're
also
kicking
around
the
idea
of
being
able
to
create
somewhat
of
a
turnabout
there
too.
So
that
way
if
people
do
come
in
and
it
is
during
those
hours,
there's
still
an
ability
for
them
to
turn
around
and
go
back,
oh
there's,
and
so
there's
some
a
little
bit
of
space
there
that
it
looks
like
we
might
be
able
to
carve
out
to
create
that
turn
around
we're.
Also
talking
about
signage
and
things
of
that
nature,
with.
H
E
G
Is
but
we've
had
other
issues
brought
up
to
from
employees
that,
since
you
guys
have
created
those
parking
spaces
right
there
across
from
the
secure
employee
parking
lot
that
that
essentially
has
created
concerns
for
some
of
our
staff
that
still
Park
in
that
area.
So
that's
something
else
that
may
be
at
a
another
meeting
or
another
discussion
would
would
possibly
need
to
be
had
with
the
with
the
city
too,
but.
E
You
know
somebody
is
looking
at
the
property
there.
That's
the
vacant
property,
so
something's
going
to
happen
there.
So
it's
it's
not
like
you
can't
avoid
civilization
being
next
I'm
sure
one
thing
I
was
and
I
know
that
you're
trying
to
keep
things
away,
but
then
I
noticed
that
any
vehicle
could
come
and
sit
in
front
of
the
the
in
the
public
parking
space
on
the
west.
E
G
Discussion
phase:
yes,
there's
that
there's
a
standoff
that
we're
putting
forward
as
a
committee
and
a
group
to
push
the
that
standoff
pretty
much
25
feet,
maybe
even
a
little
greater
in
some
areas,
and
that
may
be
a
combination
of
all
herbs,
fencing
touching
different
things
like
that,
so
that
area
that
you're
talking
about
absolutely
understand
it.
That's
something
that
we're
also
looking
at
this
is
a
comprehensive
plan.
This
is
one
very
small
piece
of
the
greater
picture.
B
C
This
note
I'll,
know
tomorrow
or
whether
that
property
is
closed
on
which
which
most
likely
it
is,
which
means
there's
gonna,
be
residential
development
right
there,
and
so
probably
there's
gonna
probably
need
to
probably
be
another
discussion.
Just
the
whole
dynamic
is
gonna
change
like
in
five
minutes,
so
so
the
some
degree.
This
is
going
to
be
a
whole
new
conversation,
so.
B
G
Harbor
walk,
there's
been
discussions
about
it
again,
I
it's
not
this
stuff
is
so
preliminary
that
I
can't
you
know
comment
on
whether
or
not
that
is
definitively
in
the
plan
or
not.
I
know
that
it's
been
talked
about.
It's
been
recommended
the
goal
of
trying
to
keep
folks
off
that
road,
because,
as
you
know,
we
get
a
lot
of
foot
traffic
as
they
try
to
cut.
G
They
don't
want
to
go
behind
the
condos
they
want
to
cut
through
so
it'd
be
a
great
piece,
but
again
as
far
as
that,
being
a
definite
and
being
again
we're
not
even
into
the
fine
we're
still
kind
of
in
the
planning
and
design
discussion.
That's
still
in
the
discussion,
it's
still
in
the
discussion
on
the
plate,
it's
being
discussed
that
would
help
okay.
D
D
Chris
Park
has
unofficially
opened
I,
say
unofficially,
because
you
know
there's
still
some
punch
list
items
going
on
it's
being
very
well
used.
The
guitar
army
was
there
for
the
first
time
in
a
long
time.
The
other
night
here
are
the
comments
that
we've
gotten
back
from
either
phone
calls
to
our
office
phone
calls
to
public
works
or
comments
through
emails
or
Facebook
comments.
Some
the
lighting
is
definitely
brighter
than
what
people
anticipated.
D
D
We've
had
one
residence,
only
one
so
far,
comment
who
lives
across
the
street
from
the
park
on
the
brightness.
We
are
looking
at
some
ideas.
Public
works
is
looking
at
some
ideas
on
how
we
may
want
to
tone
it
down,
but
not
tone
it
down,
to
the
extent
that
it's
still
not
providing
the
security
for
the
part
that
we
want
to
do.
D
D
D
Some
people
are
having
a
tough
time
they
they
are
used
to
going
to
the
pavilion
taking
their
car,
putting
it
on
the
grass
and
bringing
their
stuff
out
and
bringing
it
to
the
pavilion
and
it's
like
a
tailgate
party.
Well,
they
can't
do
that
and
they're
having
some
people.
Some
are
having
a
difficult
time.
With
this.
D
B
D
E
D
D
We
did
take
down
a
couple
of
the
doggie
weigh
stations
in
area,
one
they
will
be
put
back
as
soon
as
the
park
gets
handed
over
to
us.
Some
people
had
consternation
over
the
doggie
weigh
stations.
They
will
be
put
back
so
in
general,
one
when
we
finished
conversations
with
folks,
we
said
you
know
they
gave
the
comments
and
they
said
well.
How
do
you
weigh
that?
Like
the
way
the
park
looks?
Do
you
like
the
way
the
park
looks
and
the
answer
was?
Oh,
it's
beautiful
and
our
response
has
been
then
enjoy
it.
D
A
Want
to
add
a
little
bit
the
restroom
issue,
we
did
have
a
bid
come
through
in
a
previous
console
and
the
cost
because
was
rather,
I
opening
and
there's
one
reason
why
we
wanted
to
remap.
It
I
think
you
know
three
of
us
were
here
the
for
that,
so
I
just
want
to
say
that
the
restroom
issue,
it's
always
being
been
addressed
as
a
priority,
but
within
the
constraints
of
doing
it
correctly
and
we're
continuing
that
way.
So
I
just
came
out
gorgeous.
E
Yeah,
it
is
stunning
I've,
had
lots
of
people
say
that
they
just
think
it's
gorgeous,
but
on
the
radio
people
were
beating
up
beating
us
up
on
the
Ken
Lovejoy
show
about
the
park
and
their
crooked
trees
in
the
park.
I
think
that
the
trees
were
that
way,
they're
looking
at
trees
that
are
crooked
bushes,
that
are
overgrown
all
sorts
of
things
that
they're
just
you
know
picking
on,
but
the
restrooms.
How
could
they
possibly
design
a
park
without
a
restroom?
So
whoever
is
going
to
go
on
Kenya
Lovejoy
next.
E
E
That
in
last
week,
just
to
help
put
the
word
out
there
on
why
we
did
what
we
did
and
most
people
once
you
explain
even
in
emails
once
you
explain
what
we
went
through,
why
we
took
the
restrooms
out
of
the
of
the
plan
and
what
we're
going
through
I.
Think
people
appreciate
what
we're
dealing
with
and
trying
to
bring
things
in.
You
know
within
budget
and
and.
J
B
B
D
K
K
In
response
to
the
claim,
and
in
my
memo
in
my
memo
that
you
have
in
your
agenda
packet
I
have
the
following
recommendation:
it
is
recommended
that
the
City
Council
direct,
the
city
manager
to
submit
a
written
settlement
offer
to
Grand
Harbor
Group
LLC
and
Grand
Harbor
Development
LLC,
stating
that
there
shall
be
no
changes
to
the
action
of
the
City
Council
taken
with
respect
to
the
relocation
and
continued
operation
of
the
Peace
River
Wildlife
Center
within
Ponce
de
Leon
Park.
So
I
would
like
a
motion
to
that
effect.
K
K
It
was
made
absolutely
clear
that
the
Burt
Harris
Act
provides
claims
under
the
Act
may
not
be
based
on
government
action
on
another
parcel.
So
that's
the
basis
for
my
recommend,
suggestion
to
you
that
you
direct
the
city
manager
to
is
that
the
written
settlement
offer,
but
using
the
option
that's
provided
for
in
the
statute
that
we
will
be
making
no
changes
to
the
action
that
was
taken
earlier.
That
was
the
basis
of
the
claim
because
it
was
actions
on
property.
The
park,
our
property,
which
is
not
on
the
property
of
the
claimant,.
J
B
A
F
Yes,
I
have
one
item
before
the
boards
and
committees
that
would
be
the
City
Council
service
boards
and
committees.
What
I?
What
I
did
this
year
was
I
asked
council
members
to
provide
me
with
a
list
of
three
boards
that
they
would
like
to
serve
on
and
to
prioritize
them
with
number
one
being
their
highest
priority.
So
that's
what
you
see
on
the
assignments
list.
It's
the
preferred
boards
and
it's
it's
justice
or
council
discussion
and
for
you
to
decide
who's
going
to
serve
on
on
what
board.
Okay.
F
B
B
F
B
E
D
J
B
E
E
B
A
A
A
Would
just
just
before
I
actually
accepted,
though
just
to
point
out
to
a
job
if
he
would
be
interested
in
it.
Even
though
this
has
been
a
committee,
that's
been
having
some
difficulties
or
surviving
it's
a
great
committee
to
meet
all
the
other
politicians
really
from
Sarasota
all
the
way
down
through
Collier,
County
and
so
forth.
It's
just
it's
and
I've
made
a
number
of
relationships
that
I've
kept
since
then,
so,
if
you'd
be
interested
in
it,
I
would.
A
E
B
C
B
E
B
E
J
A
C
I
E
B
H
F
Okay,
so
just
to
go
down
the
list
and
confirm
we
have
Nancy
on
the
airport
authority,
we
have
Jehan
check,
we
have
Gary
on
business
and
economic
development.
We
have
Lynn
as
the
primary
Fram
Pia,
with
Nancy
being
the
alternate.
We
have
Gary
on
check
no
Charlotte
Harbor
National
estuary.
Sorry,
we
have
to
also
on
the
housing
authority
stood
Rachel
on
Southwest
Florida,
Lake
City's
Gary
on
our
PC
and
TDC
is
jaha
and
Rachel.
Yes,
okay,
thank
you.
F
I
didn't
provide
a
calendar
so
that
we
will
try
to
get
the
the
meetings
for
the
upcoming
year
on
your
calendars
as
soon
as
possible.
This
is
those
calendars
or
so
you
can
see
when
those
meetings
are
scheduled
right
now.
The
MPO
I
have
the
agenda
for
the
next
meeting
and
I
also
have
the
cancellation
notice
for
the
joint
meeting
for
you.
Well,
we
do
have
the
2018
meeting
dates
that
will
get
on
your
calendar.
Okay,.
J
F
Very
good
and
I
told
the
MPO
contact
that
same
thing,
that
for
doing
our
organization
today
and
we'll
get
them
a
good
name
of
the
representative.
What
do
we
do
for
all
the
boards?
We
send
out
a
letter
confirming
the
appointments:
okay,
all
right,
so
regular
boards
and
committees,
starting
with
vacancies.
F
We
have
an
unexpired
term
for
an
alternate
on
the
Board
of
Zoning
Appeals.
We
also
have
an
unexpired
term
on
the
building
board
for
an
alternate,
and
then
we
have
an
unexpired
term
on
the
utility
advisory
board
and
then
under
nominations.
We
have
the
Charlotte
County
marina
advisory
committee.
We
have
three
four
five
six
applicants
for
that
for
nomination.
F
B
B
F
B
B
B
A
B
D
B
Do
you
want
me
to
say
Oh
ghetto
ghetto
love,
Charlotte
County
is
collecting
toys
for
tots
that
night
as
well
we're
trying
to
fill
a
truck
that
they're
gonna
bring.
So
if
you
feel
like
you
would
like
to
donate,
toys
for
tots
Gettle
is
handling
all
that
I
know
they're
doing
a
big
push
at
all
their
dealerships.
That's
one
of
the
main
focuses
this
holiday
season
and
they
they
were
very
generous
with
the
tree
lighting.
So
we
want
to
support
them.
B
Park
at
the
Herald
Court
Center
downtown
is
gonna
be
crazy
because
the
premier
auto
auction
will
be
at
the
event
center,
so
there'll
be
cars
and
people
everywhere
so
be
careful
park
at
the
Herald
Court
Center
the
side
streets
you
could
park.
You
could
even
park
here
at
the
Government
Center,
which
may
be
a
couple
of
blocks,
but
you
could
you
can
still
use
this
parking
lot.
If
you
want
it
to
bring
your
own
chairs,
we
will
not
have
any
seating
available
there.
We
will
have
food
trucks
and
Saturday
night.
B
We
will
have
the
elf
movie
on
the
city
marketplace
lot.
I
know
that
conflicts
with
your
southern
supper,
but
the
crossroads
is
going
to
put
that
on
on
Saturday
night,
so
big
weekend
very
big
weekend,
it'll
be
here
before
we
know
it:
okay
I
think
that's
all
I
have
our
final
meeting
is
Monday,
so
it's
coming
along
very
nicely.
That's
it
council,
member
Commons,
Gary.
A
Other
than
the
fact
I
just
might
say
they
are,
the
yarn
bombers
will
be
returning
this
year
and
I've
had
a
preview
to
some
of
the
the
new
pieces
of
yarn
art
that
they'll
be
decorating
with
including
some
nutcrackers
and
so
forth.
So
as
they
get
finished,
I
suggest
you
all
check
them
out.
They're,
really
kind
of
kind
of
cool
I.
E
Put
one
of
these
on
your
desk:
this
is
the
the
pickleball
VIP
Open
House,
and
the
pickle
Plex
team
is
going
to
be
giving
anyone
who's
a
a
Chamber
member
as
well
as
elected
officials,
a
little
training
or
education
whatever
you
want
to
call
it
in
pickleball
and
at
the
South
County
Regional
Park
on
Wednesday
December,
the
6th
from
6:00
until
8:00
p.m.
so
you
come
out
ready
to
in
Hawk
pickleball
rackets
and
teach
you
how
to
play
pickleball
a
little
bit.
So
you
can
see
what's
going
on.
B
J
Happy
Thanksgiving,
just
one
thing
and
I,
had
Howard
forward
several
emails
that
I've
received
from
citizens
in
the
community
that
there
is
a
huge
concern
about
the
new
branding
and
logo
that
that
we
have
adopted
and
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
everybody
is
100%
supposed
to
be
ahead
in
favor
of
moving
forward,
because
I
know
we
voted
on
it
already.
But
before
we
actually
expend
any
more
money
on
this
I
want
to
make
sure.
J
After
the
workshop
I
wasn't
certain
that
everybody
was
on
board
with
the
new
logo
and
I
have
a
huge
concern
about
it
at
this
point,
because
I
have
not
only
heard
from
those
who
got
copies
of
the
emails
from,
but
I've
heard
from
at
least
another
couple
dozen
people
beyond
that,
and
there's
a
huge
concern
right
now
that
we're
gonna
be
spending
in
an
exorbitant
amount
of
money.
Rolling
this
program
out,
and
we
still
don't
know
where
we
stand
with
FEMA,
with
the
see.well
replacements
and
and
they're.
J
The
citizens
have
advised
caution
and
moving
forward
with
spending.
That
kind
of
until
we
have
a
better
idea
from
FEMA
at
whether
we're
gonna
be
reimbursed
for
the
seawall
repairs,
and
if
we
aren't,
then
what
do
we
do
so
I
just
thought
it
was
prudent
to
bring
it
up
as
a
subject
during
council
member
comments,
because
I've
heard
from
so
many
people
that
they're
very
unhappy
that
we've
gone
ahead
and
done
this
right
now.
Well,.
B
B
I
mean
once
we
see
it
in
place,
like
I,
think
you're
Jahi,
your
Babcock
Ranch
tie-in,
really
kind
of
brought
that
home
that
brought
it
home
to
me
that
okay,
well
once
it
has
context
and
meaning,
and
it's
on
the
trucks
and
I
think
I'm
gonna
be
fine
with
it
and
you
know,
I,
don't
know
if
you're
tying
in
the
communications
manager
with
this,
because
it's
all
kind
of
one
item,
but
we
definitely
need
that
person.
I
mean.
B
Person
there's
already
a
lot
of
work
for
them
to
do
so.
I'm,
ok
with
it
I
think
it's
gonna
grow
on
me
over
time.
I
know
some
of
your
emails
were
like
well
is
if
this
is
what
we're
trying
to
do
to
attract
a
younger
demographic
I,
don't
recall
that
being
our
goal
with
the
with
the
I
mean
it
was
younger,
but
not
I
mean.
J
E
All
the
papers
gave
them
to
Donna
and
and
the
the
feedback
was
very
consistent,
I
think
with
the
research
that
aqua
came
up
with
that
people
were,
like
you
know
when
it
comes
to
Punta
Gorda
put
your
arms
around
it,
protect
it.
It's
a
safe
place,
it's
our
you
know,
and
so
knowing
the
feedback
that
I
got
from
all
these
and
then
when
Donna
was
saying
yeah,
it's
kind
of
trying
to
figure
out
what
to
do
with
this.
E
It
kind
of
can
understand
the
the
what
we
got
and
I
just
did
a
presentation
on
Monday
at
20s,
Country
Club
for
their
Women's
Club,
and
there
were
about
60
women
there.
An
update
him
and
one
of
the
slides
is
here's.
The
new
logo
and
I
was
just
I
said
a
year
ago
you
participated
in
a
survey.
Well
here
it
is,
and
probably
90%
of
the
people
in
the
room
were
like.
Oh,
we
liked
it.
E
There
were
10%
because
I
said
hands,
you
know
thumbs
up
thumbs
down,
probably
10%
thumbs
down
and
I
said
I'm
with
you.
You
know
it
doesn't
resonate
with
me,
but
the
research
says
that
this
is
it
so
I
I'm
still
trying
to
wrap
my
head
around
it
and
go
with
the
flow,
and
hopefully
I
explained
some
of
the
research
and
this
it's
so
when
you
think
about
all
that,
it
makes
sense
and
I
still
think
we're
more
hip
than
that.
But
I
think.
