Description
A
Okay,
at
the
next
council
meeting
on
May
twentieth,
we're
going
to
have
the
thirty
percent
design
plans
for
the
US
41
south
bridge
underpass.
It's
a
we're
widening
that
that's
the
area
between
hurricane
Charlie's
and
the
event
center.
Let
in
one
of
our
sales
tax
projects
is
to
whiten
that
so
that
you.

A
May
ninth,
which
is
a
few
days
300
block
of
durin
street
between
Olympia
and
Virginia,
we're
going
to
have
a
fricking
party,
Public
Works
has
started
some
of
the
pricking
just
to
get
started
and
we'll
still
have
a
large
area
left
for
all
of
the
volunteers.
To
finish,
the
pricking
on
that
block
so
saturday
morning
bring
your
knee
pads
play
some
bricks.
A
A
D
Are
watching
right
at
all,
it's
like
Rachel
again!
If
you
have
not
had
a
chance
to
contribute,
you
can
send
your
checks
to
the
Charlotte
community
foundation
with
the
Vietnam
Wall
memorial.
Let's
get
on
it.
Obviously,
the
city
is
working
closely
with
the
committee
to
make
sure
the
design
is
just
right
again.
It's
a
50-percent
scale
of
the
Vietnam
Wall
in
Washington
DC.
It's
going
to
be
amazing.

A
E
Text,
that's
what
this
is.
All
milk.
You
want
new
needs
to
start
a
June.
We
want
to
start
a
chain.
The
reason
for
that
is
because
our
artists,
Lisa's
friend,
Jenny,
senator
there
be
no
way
for
us
to
recruit
the
taxes
started
in
june.
But
what
were
willing
to
do,
however,
is
so
the
city
is,
among
others,
is
his
taxes
of
twenty
four
hundred
dollars
for
the
year
and
I
win
we
paid.
It
was
fourteen
hundred
dollars
for
the
year.
We
will
pay
extra.
One
of
those
is
all
its
senses.
Aunty.
E
L
I
D
A
D
I
D
E
D
L
E
E
Sure
it
would
wouldn't
it
let's
say
that
our
let's
say
that
lease
ends
in
mail
2016.
The
arteries
with
us
ends
in
December
2016.
That
can't
happen,
because
we
don't
have
a
lease
with
you
anymore.
I
see
what
you're
willing
to
change
it.
That's
where
the
conflict
is
the
dilemma.
I
mean
it.
You
know
all.
H
Know
the
city
can't
be
bound
by
the
lease
that
you
have
with
your
tenants
and
I
would
presume
that
you
would
have
some
sort
of
clause.
I
would
hope
that
you
have
some
sort
of
clause
in
your
lease
with
the
tenants
that
would
we
allow
you
to
make
any
type
of
pass
through
with
increased
grant.
But
what
would
happen
if
you
have
a
lease
with
your
tenants
that
an
olive
go
there?
H
What
I
heard
you
say
and
what
I
understood
the
mayor
understand
you
to
say
I
think
at
two
different
things:
you're
saying
that
your
proposal
is
dad
you'll
continue
to
pay
the
rent
on
your
current
lease
and
then,
if
that's
just
a
24
hundred
dollars,
and
if
the
tax
is
twenty-five
hundred
dollars,
you'll
pay
the
100
hour
difference
that
was
caused
by
the
tasks,
but
you're
not
going
to
pay
us
any
more
in
the
way
of
rent.
So
it's
really
not
the
same
thing.
D
D
D
A
A
Last
week
we
had
a
neighborhood
meeting
where
the
neighborhood
groups,
the
churches,
interested
citizens,
came
met
at
first
macedonia
baptist
church.
We
discussed
things
such
as
they
discuss
such
things,
such
as
forming
a
an
umbrella,
Neighborhood
Association,
similar
to
like
a
South
County
coalition.
We're
different
neighborhood
groups
come
together
and
one
to
have
more
of
a
unified
single
voice
to
express
concerns
and
institutes
and
programs.
Part.
A
What
our
recommendation
is
that
we
take
twenty
thousand
dollars
from
the
CRA
reserves
which
we
have.
We
then,
as
a
CRA,
you
recommend
to
the
Charlotte
County
Commission,
because
they're
the
ones
that
have
to
approve
this.
Not
you
they're,
the
ones
that
have
to
approve
it
to
expend
$20,000
outsource
the
activity
to
the
Department
of
Health.
They
have
the
position,
they
have
the
background
in
it
and
they
would
work
with
the
tribute
woods
community.
I
Hi
I
thought
about
two
or
three
years
ago,
when
we
extend
it
to
CRA
for
ten
years,
was
extended
because
we
were
in
debt.
If
we
have
twenty-five
thousand
dollars,
why
wouldn't
we
consider
reducing
our
debt
instead
of
a
program
that
does
have
needs,
but
there's
the
same
needs
in
inglewood,
port,
charlotte,
Deep,
Creek
I
just
would
rather
see
the
money
go
to
reduce
debt,
which
was
the
whole
idea
of
extending
the
CRA.
Thank
you.
C
Yes,
I
agree
with
frank
that
you
know
the
purpose
of
extension
was
was
to
pay
down
the
debt,
so
you
have
a
very
good
point
there.
I
do
see
this,
though,
as
a
buy-in
with
the
county
and
it's
ultimately
up
to
them.
If
they
deny
it
and
then
we,
the
message
is
clear
that
they
do
not
want
us
expending
any
other
funds
on
any
other
programs
just
paying
down
the
debt.
So
I
think
if
we
pass
this
on
to
them,
they
can
make
their
decision,
but
it
is
our
neighborhood.
C
D
J
D
L
Just
wanted
to
let
you
know,
I
have
been
working
with
the
trabe
you
woods,
along
with
Howard,
and
this
year
has
been
tremendous.
We've
made
a
lot
of
progress
and
I
personally
I
know
we
can't
make
a
decision,
but
I
really
would
hate
to
lose
that
position.
I.
Think
it's
really
needed.
I
also
think
that
our
staff
spends
a
lot
of
time
with
CDBG
and
that
type
of
saying
with
meetings
and
which
they'll
continue
to
do.
L
But
this
position
helps
facilitate
that
and
I
think
may
help
them
when,
when
we're
trying
to
make
choices
on
what
we're
putting
those
monies
toward
plus
I
told
you
about
the
trip
to
New
Town
and
one
of
one
of
the
things
that
came
from
that
was
to
you
know
to
form
that
neighborhood
association
and
down
McCormick's
been
helping
with
that
and
to
get
that
together,
so
that
they
do
have
that
one
boys.
This
is
what
we'd
like
to
use.
L
This
person
can
also
write
grants
and,
if
they're
with
the
health
department,
they
will
have
access
to
all
of
those
kind
of
things.
The
director
there
said
we
always
have
grants
coming
in.
If
we
have
someone
dedicated
to
that,
they
will
know
that
they
will
be
working
out
of
that
office.
The
person
we
have
right
now
is
a
federal
employee.
She
could
not
write
grants,
so
I
I
would
like
to
see
it
go
to
the
county
there.
Yes,.
G
This
last
community
meeting
of
his
with
fiber
over
the
meeting-
and
it
was
very
obvious
that
the
group
interview
which
is
really
interested
in
starting
their
own
type
of
homeowners
association
that
were
doing
something
to
achieve
consensus
in
their
own
neighborhood
and
I.
Think
a
facilitator
in
a
role
of
what
we
described
in
here
would
be
very
helpful
and
beneficial
to
the
community.
I
would
support
it
and
I
think
we
should
bring
it
to
the
town.
Yes,.
K
Nearly
as
I
reviewed
this
and
I
looked
at
this,
as
a
question
came
to
mind,
is
isn't
this
something
that
that
community
block
grant
cdbg
funds
it
should
help
fund.
A
D
Think
that
this
perhaps
would
give
an
opportunity
to
try.
For
a
year
the
needs
assessment
has
been
done.
They've
identified,
specific
actions
that
need
to
be
taken
in
terms
next
steps
forming
the
organization
which
I
applaud,
will
help
them
come
together
and
then,
hopefully,
work
with
the
person
from
the
health
department
to
again
identify
what
are
those
next
steps
going
to
be.
I
would
like
to
give
it
the
opportunity
we
need
to
support
the
the
neighborhood
we
need
to
help
them
forward
and
I.
Think
it's
important
that
we
that
we
do
that.
Yes,.
C
Pace,
eh
health
coordinator
position
through
the
Department
of
Health
Charlotte
County,
to
have
a
monthly
reporting
from
the
position.
If
it's,
if
it's
approved
by
the
Charlotte
County
Commission
I,.
D
D
G
A
A
Trying
to
get
up,
oh
there,
we
go
we're
trying
to
have
it
match
the
railing.
That's
already
on
the
outer
perimeter,
there
there's
a
steep
slope.
We
don't
need
to
debate
the
need
because
we
we
know
we
have
that
steep
slope.
The
question
is
the
bids
we
have
the
CRA
dollars
22
to
approve
the
bid
and
get
the
railing
in.
This
does
not
need
to
go
to
the
Charlotte
County
Commission,
because
we've
already
approved
improvements
to
an
existing
part.
A
D
B
D
B
M
M
It's
a
new
beginning
for
the
community,
and
we
know
we
will
never,
because
we're
human
be
a
hundred
percent.
There's
that's
just
human
nature.
You
will
always
disagree
on
something
and
we
do
have
some
organizations
and
somewhat
individuals
that
mean
agreed
with
the
progress
that
the
community
is
making,
but
we
appreciate
the
opportunity
that
this
position
will
allow
us,
thanks
to
mr.
McCormick
don
president
of
the
Charlotte
County
coalition,
who've,
always
been
supportive
of
the
community.
M
We
now
have
a
better
understanding
of
the
power
of
coming
together
and
we
appreciate
the
opportunity
that
you're
granting
us
to
to
make
it
happen.
Your
CRA
financial
support
of
the
pace
eh
position
will
assure
that
the
community
creates
and
implements
an
action
plan
that
addresses
the
community
needs
in
a
systematic
manner.
M
That
being
said,
I
I
need
to
make
a
comment,
and
I'm
going
to
address
it
to
mr.
friend
the
CEO
I
know.
I
know
why
I
always
had
that
the
CRA
has
no
money
right
now,
you're
walking
on
build
out.
We
had
to
blend
the
pleasure
of
going
to
New
Town
in
South
soda,
and
we
learn
the
technique
that
if
the
CRA
requests
to
have
the
extension
not
not
to
pay
off
any
depth
or
anything,
you
can
put
in
a
request
to
have
that
done.
And
you
know
it's
up
to
you
to
decide.
M
If
you
want
that
extension
for
new
programs,
that's
what
we
want
informed.
We
now
have
our
tallahassee
looking
into
that
on
our
behalf,
I'm,
going
to
rewind
a
little
bit
I
hate
going
on
the
past,
because
we're
trying
to
be
a
progressive
but
I'm
going
to
change.
My
hat
right
now,
I'm
going
to
stand
before
you
as
a
community
advocate
committed
to
a
national
movement
for
progressive
community
action.
M
Again,
I
don't
want
to
rehash
the
pass,
but
if
you
research
the
role
of
the
CRA,
if
you
research
why
your
CRE
was
started
in
the
city.
Upon
of
water,
it
makes
you
wonder
how
how
we're
at
this
point,
where
you
still
have
a
need
in
that
community,
that
CRE
was
formed
to
address
the
issues
off.
You
still
have
a
need
there
and.
M
D
G
F
D
F
Kind
of
interesting
to
me
that
we
spent
this
much
time
talking
about
twenty
thousand
dollars
for
a
community.
We
asked
no
questions
about
the
overrun
for
the
railing.
We
asked
no
questions
about
some
of
the
other
issues
here
for
what
they
cost
it
all
like
that
and
I'm
not
for
government
spending.
Bleah
be
and
I
find
it
interesting
that
we
spent
all
this
time
talking
about
twenty
thousand
dollars.
I
don't
understand
this,
because
did
anybody
ask
any
questions
about
the
railing
overrun?
How
much
was
gonna
cost?
No,
we.
F
F
No
one
here
heard
it
I
mean
here,
isn't
it
may
I
say
a
hundred
thousand
dollars
an
ounce,
two
hundred
thousand
dollars,
and
we
spent
more
time
talking
about
the
CRA
and
the
twenty
thousand
dollars
for
them,
and
we
spent
no
time
talking
about
anything
else.
It
was
an
overrun
just
interesting
to
me.
Thank.
N
N
But
when
you
get
six
organizations
within
the
Tribune
woods
area
and
the
community
voting
YES
for
one
thing
for
something
and
one
entity,
not
the
consensus
is
we
do
want
the
things
that
are
happening
out
there
and
we
are
trying
to
better
ourselves.
So
we
thank
you
all
and
we
reaction
continuous
health.
Thank.
D
You
anyone
else
wishing
to
make
comments
on
CRA
items:
okay,
Commissioner
comments,
Nancy
I,.
K
D
J
The
pasture
comes
talk
about
cooperation.
I
also
want
to
commend
our
City
Council
as
well
as
our
mayor,
because
on
the
justice
and
peace
and
community
unity
day,
they
were
all
there.
We
worked
with
our
police,
our
sheriff,
and
it
was
a
beautiful
day
and
I
want
to
commend
you
mayor
for
giving
such
a
beautiful,
inspirational
speech
that
babe
I
would
hope
next
year,
because
we're
going
to
be
doing
it
once
a
year
and
whether
you'll
join
me
crossing
the
bridge.
I
would
hope
that
I
would
see
more
people
there.
I.
G
C
I
would
just
like
to
say
that
the
pickleball
courts
are
really
really
cool.
I
was
by
there
yesterday
and
I'm
surprised
they
wrapped
it
up
that
quick,
because
not
all
the
nets
were
installed
yet,
and
I
think
it's
just
great
that
this
group
came
to
us
with
this
idea
and
they
didn't
try
to
force
it
down
our
throats.
They
took
their
time,
they
did
their
work,
they
got
the
support
and
they
even
raised
almost
three
thousand
dollars
that
they
contributed
back
to
the
project.
I
think
that's!
C
You
know
a
model
for
how
things
should
work
and
I.
Think
it's
great
that
their
organization
was
able
to.
You
know,
work
that
way
with
the
city
and
for
the
betterment
of
all
I
mean
it's
really
neat.
When
you
go
over
there,
I
think
it'll
just
even
attract
the
people
that
don't
really
even
know
what
pickleball
is
it's
something
interesting?
Oh
wow
look
there's
there's
pickleball
only
on
these.
Hopefully
our
pickle
ballers
are
happy
the
tennis
players.
