Description
Description
A
It
was
a
very
good
discussion
and,
as
we
decided
that
we
wanted
to
make
sure
that
that
there
were
things
that
had
happened
back
in
2002
and
2011.
That
obviously
didn't
look
at
the
unintended
consequences.
They
also
said
we
need
data
to
help
us
avoid
the
unintended
consequences
of
whatever
decision
we
may
come
to.
So
they
requested
that
we
conduct
an
origin
and
destination
study,
as
well
as
other
studies
to
be
determined
and
they
will
their
staff
person
lk
catholic
number
l
case
last
name.
A
Nandam
will
be
working
with
mark
garing
to
come
up
with
what
the
additional
studies
will
be
and
they
will
work
with
us
on
the
timing
of
when
this
of
the
oat
and
D
study
needs
to
take
place,
and
they
ought
they
said
not
now.
It
needs
to
happen
during
season
sure
they
agree
with
that,
and
there
were
other
comments
that
they
felt
like
the
shopping
center
was
not
in
good
shape
and
that
they
felt
that
that
was
probably
one
of
the
reasons
why
the
shopping
center
was
having
problems
getting
tenants.
A
A
A
B
D
Forming
a
501
3c,
it's
called
the
tribe,
you
woods,
United
Association.
They
will
be
inviting
us
to
a
meeting
in
October
one
of
their
first
issues.
They
want
to
tackle
as
transportation
how
to
get
people
to
and
from
jobs.
So
Lewbert
are
gonna
either
know
we
like
to
think
so
and
also
friday
night
we
drug-free
punta
gorda
and
d
phi
had
a
dance
at
punta
gorda
middle
school.
We
signed
up
an
additional
20
kids.
It
was
just
a
couple
hours,
it
just
seemed
crazy.
D
It
was
like
pandemonium
everybody
running
to
sign
up
for
d
phi
and
but
the
din
the
dance
and
joe
king
was
there
with
Chris
salzman,
who
they're
kind
of
switching
and
antoni
Pro
Bowl,
and
everybody
had
a
really
good
time.
So
it
was
a
lot
of
fun
and
I
love.
Seeing
stuff
like
that
in
our
community
when
you're
president,
you
know
the
kids
are
loving
it.
So
we'll
get
some
good
dancers
out.
There
good
did.
D
We
did,
we
did
yeah
power,
it
would
it
went
well.
We
talked
a
lot
about
the
vigil
that
they
were
having
at
the
jail
and
it
was
very
cordial
I
thought
everyone
went
through.
Actually
some
of
the
folks
thought
it
probably
wasn't
the
best
place
to
have
it,
although
you
know
they
did
go,
go
through
and
have
it
there
and
but
I
think
it
was
pretty
peaceful.
I.
Think
it's
a
really
good
group,
but
I
mean
I
like
I.
D
D
D
C
In
a
July
meeting,
when
the
discussion
came
up
about
the
distribution
of
the
CBGB
funds
and
we
voted
it
to
shove,
it
towards
the
the
gardening,
the
community
garden
suite-
and
it
was
come
some
conversation
about
turning
over
some
of
the
commercial
space
they
have
over
there.
Any
andrew
is
building
into
residential
space
than
I
mentioned
that
I
would
bring
it
up
today,
the
charlotte
the
sort
of
building
board
and
see
if
there
was
anything
L
from
them.
Well,
I
did
have
a
meeting
with
them.
C
David
Olson
was
with
me
and
I
got
all
of
their
drawings
and
what
would
be
required
or
kind
of
be
required
that
what
happened
in
the
interim
I
was
away
and
I.
Think
Nancy.
You
may
have
had
a
conversation
with
somebody,
because
Barrett
Brown
sent
a
letter
to
the
shell
account
of
building
board,
requesting
some
donations
of
construction
material,
a
construction
labor,
and
it
was
as
I
got
a
letter
from
all.
C
We
got
a
letter
from
Donna
this
morning
asking
if
the
city
would
be
willing
to
for
go
it's
some
of
the
fees
with
regard
to
the
residential
requirement.
Now
I
don't
know
exactly
what
they
may
be
because
we
have
commercial.
We
have
a
look
up
for
commercial,
water
and
sewer
already
what
might
be
required
to
convert
that
to
residential
I'm,
not
sure,
but
we
would
have
to
discuss
if
there
are
any
fees
that
we
would
be
going
to
relinquish
their
that
there.
There.
E
Out
we
I
don't
know
what
kind
of
impact
fees.
If
any
we
do
not
waive
impact
fees.
We
have
a
affordable
housing
impact
fee,
installment
payment
plan,
building,
permit
fees,
we
don't
wait.
Building
permit
fees,
I
mean
that's
an
Enterprise
Fund.
If
you
want
to
find
sources
to
help
pay,
the
funds
from
other
revenue
sources
certainly
can
do
that.
D
E
D
A
And
I
had
called
Donna
barrett
after
our
meeting
and
to
ask
her
if
there
was
any
possibility
of
cpg
IA
taking
on
she's
the
executive
director
of
CB
dia
and
is
taking
on
some
kind
of
a
project
that
would
help
assist
them
in
some
way
and
to
help
refurbish
one
or
two
of
these
units,
and
so
she
had
a
number
of
questions
and
one
of
the
things
she
said
she
wanted
was
for
Bob
Miller
to
who
was
working
on
the
park.
A
If
he
would
just
go
across
the
street
and
and
take
a
look
at
it
and
say
what
was
needed
and
so
oh,
we
were
spending
time
trying
to
get
them
to
connect
and
get
me
at
Brown
to
connect
with
Bob
Miller's,
which
they
eventually
did
and
so
that
they
could
get
an
estimate
or
an
idea
of
what
was
involved.
So
that's
how
the
CB
CB
dia
got
involved
with
it
and
I
guess
now.
They're
did
that
discussion
was
you.
You've
got
name.
C
You're,
like
I,
have
the
plans
and
I
can
send
the
plans
up
to
this
challenge
episode
of
building
board
and
they
can
compare
what
the
commercial
space
looks
like
now,
as
opposed
to
what
a
residential
space
looks
like
built
out,
and
they
should
be
able
to
determine
from
that.
What
what
I
cost
might
be
would.
F
Oh,
the
Florida
League
of
Cities
conference
concluded
this
weekend
and
it
was
great
I
thought
it
was
really.
It
was
different
than
last
year,
but
still
good
I
really
enjoyed
some
of
the
speakers
there
and
you
know
getting
to
know
new
cities
and
talk
about
issues
the
good,
the
bad,
the
ugly,
pretty
much
you
get
all
kinds
of
good
stories
and
you
think
wow
glad
I
don't
live
there.
F
Anyway.
Our
finance
and
IT
department
were
featured
on
the
software
people
that
do
off
d
view
not
really
sure
what
the
company's
name
was,
but
they
had
the
city
of
Punta
Gorda
zoffi
view
as
their
demo
for
their
display,
and
it
was
quite
impressive.
It
was
really
really
cool,
so
it
was
financed
and
IT
I
guess
are
working
to
launch
that,
but
it
was
really
neat
to
see
city
of
Punta
Gorda
there
when
you
walked
around
the
marketplace.
F
The
third
meeting
of
the
energy
Environment
and
Natural
Resources
Committee,
was
held
and
we
decided
on
two
legislative
priorities,
one
which
is
water,
quality
and
quantity,
which
is
the
same
that
we
had
last
year
to
come
to
get
get
the
legislature
to
find
funding
sources
and
support
water
quality
and
quantity
projects
which
we
were
actually
one
of
the
successful
parties
of
this
last
legislative
session.
Many
were
not
so
keep
pushing
for
that,
because
you
know
some
cities
struggle
with
the
sewer
septic.
We
don't
have
that
issue,
but
others
do
so.
F
F
Another
thing
that
came
out
our
district
is
the
Southwest
Florida
Liga
cities,
which
kim
was
on
and
now
I'm
on,
which
meets
import.
Myers
and
one
of
the
conversations
I've
had
down
there
with
them
is
that
I'm
kind
of
stuck
in
the
middle
because
I'm
as
close
to
sarasota-manatee
as
I,
am
to
Lee
and
Collier
and
glades
and
hendry,
and
so
what
I'm
going
to
start?
F
And
we
had
a
little
meeting
between
the
president
of
the
Minnesota
league,
the
Southwest
Florida
league
myself,
and
a
couple
of
other
members
and
I'm
going
to
go,
attend
the
manasota
League
meeting
on
sep
tember
10th.
Just
because
I
want
to
see
you
know
what
they're
doing
down
there,
because
during
this
committee
process
I
sat
next
to
a
council
vice
mayor
from
Palmetto
Brian
Williams,
and
we
have
a
lot
in
common
with
Palmetto,
more
so
than
I
do
with
sanibel.
F
So
you
know
he
kind
of
invited
me
to
his
meetings
and
then
we
okayed
it
with
everybody,
so
I'm
going
to
be
attending
their
meeting
on
Longboat
Key
and
maybe
also
be
the
liaison
between
those
two
groups,
because
the
Regional
Planning
Council
is
that
whole
area.
But
the
League
of
Cities
is
not
so
I
feel
I
felt
like
there
was
a
little
bit
of
disconnect.
So
that
should
be
an
interesting
meeting,
longboat
key
and
then
friday
is
guns
and
hoses.
And
then
the
next
Saturday
August
twenty-ninth
we
have
the
flyers
over.
F
There
is
typical
in
razor
for
Tom.
Captain
Tom,
Lewis
and
Amanda
are
going
to
Guatemala
in
November
on
a
mission
trip,
so
we're
having
a
typical
dinner
at
phils,
41
and
Phil
is
very
excited
and
very
supportive
and
it'll
be
saturday.
The
29th
from
4
30
29,
and
you
may
see
some
celebrity
servers
and
that
dinner.
Maybe
that's.
B
Prizes,
one
of
the
things
that
I
did
not
mention
I
want
to
bring
up
and
it's
a
little
bit
difficult
only
because
anyway,
I
was
talking
with
Rob
shave,
our
lobbyists
and
we
were
talking
about
issues
to
bring
forward
to
representative
all
Britain
and
basically
Rob
says
don't
give
up
on
additional
funding
for
the
RO
plant.
He
says,
because
we
have
its
recognized
that
we
are
basically
helping
to
fund
the
pipeline.
You
know
with
our
four
million
this
year
and
we're
in
any
additional
monies
that
we
would
get
would
help
offset
our
other
costs.
B
H
H
H
G
Next
to
us,
fort
myers,
Sarasota,
there's
a
whole
section
for
Southwest
Florida
and
we
are
almost
totally
absent.
Second,
a
quick
subject
is
I,
am
a
strong
supporter
of
the
Wildlife
Center
I'm
I
kind
of
question.
How
do
you
put
a
22,000
square
foot
building
on
a
half
acre,
I?
Also,
I'm
kind
of
odd.
I
had
not
an
easy
feeling
about
some
of
the
efforts
that
have
been
made
toward
the
owner
of
the
property.
G
I
did
a
lot
of
business
with
a
particular
owner
in
the
cell,
the
association
and
some
follow-on
things
afterward
and
somehow
I
think
somebody
has
got
to
do
some
talking
offline,
that
thing's
there's
a
better
solution
than
what
people
are
trying
to
do
today.
The
third
and
last
thing
I
will
do
is
in
a
day
and
age,
where
we
see
police
departments
being
vilified
and
police
officers
if
there
was
a
community
in
the
United
States
that
has
community
policing
and
relations
I,
think
it's
this
city.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
G
B
Wildlife
Center,
yes,
that
yeah
well
dive
center,
I,
think
and
we're
all
concerned
about
that.
With
regards
to
mr.
Boff,
he
has
a
tendency
to
get
bad
press
and
I
think
we're
shooting
ourselves
in
the
foot
because
of
it
he's
done
so
much
for
our
community
and
we
need
to
recognize
that
and
to
recognize
that
there's
an
opportunity
and
I
agree
that
we
should
continue
discussions
with
him.
With
regards
to
the
Wildlife
Center.
G
One
characteristic
hijab
off
when
they're
every
experience
I've
had
with
Jo.
If
there's
bad
publicity
he
immediately
backs
off.
The
latest
incident
was
when
came
I'm
chairman
of
zoning
appeals
when
he
came
to
zoning
appeals
and
so
how
negative
it
was.
Jerry
Wexler
was
through
the
application.
At
the
time
we
tried
to
sell
the
association
when
we
had
a
negative
reaction.
G
He
called
me
that
morning
said
I'm
withdrawing
my
offer,
but
we
worked
it
out
in
the
long
run
and
I've
seen
it
time
and
time
again,
and
this
is
totally
out
of
character,
no
Joe's
an
operator
and
he's
going
to
make
money
and
everything
else.
But
what
we're
seeing
and
hearing
today
is
kind
of
different
than
my
experience
has
been
in
the
past.
