Exciting contest announcement to kick off the Parks and Recreation Master Plan update in the City of Punta Gorda. As part of the Recreation and Open Space Element of the City's adopted Comprehensive Plan, the Parks and Recreation Master Plan is to be updated every 10 years. The last plan was adopted in 2009 and the necessary update was placed on hold until the completion of the Citywide Master Plan.

We are asking residents to take part in the contest to name the updated plan! Not only that, we will also offer bi-weekly video updates to let you all know how the plan is coming along and to answer any frequently asked question. Watch the video and let us know what you think or any ideas you may have in the comments down below.

Hello city of Pune Gordo, my name is Fabiana Solano and I'm with urban design. We are so excited to announce that the parks and recreation 2020 master plan is currently in the works, and we want you to be a part of it get involved and help us name. The 2020 plan by taking part in our contest, the winner, will win a gift basket that includes a $25 gift card and other Punta Gorda swag. Not only that, we are also holding a survey to hear about your ideas.
