Description
As the Urban Design Department continue to work on the Parks and Reaction Master Plan update, they wanted to share one of Punta Gorda’s hidden gems. Even though our parks and some gyms are open, many of the residents don’t feel ready to get back into those gyms. Visit Linear Park’s Fitness Zones to get a light exercise in from a safe distance!

Parks
and
Recreation
2020
master
plan,
while
the
team
at
the
urban
design
department
is
currently
working
on
the
ins
and
outs
of
the
update,
we
wanted
to
show
you
one
of
our
favorite
hidden
gems,
in
our
city's
parks.
Our
parks
are
now
open,
just
like
many
of
your
favorite
gems,
but
not
everyone
feels
comfortable
or
ready
to
get
back
inside
to
the
gym.
That's
why
here
at
linear
Park,
you
can
get
the
best
of
both
worlds.
A
Linear
Park
offers
three
great
fitness
zones:
the
fitness
zones,
our
outdoor
gym
areas
that
contain
multiple
pieces
of
adult
fitness
equipment,
with
activities
designed
to
target
the
upper
body
core
lower
body
and
the
cardiovascular
system.
This
equipment
is
designed
to
be
safe
for
use
for
persons
14
years
of
age
and
older.
Our
parks
are
spread
out
in
the
great
outdoors,
making
it
easy
to
work
out
and
enjoy
from
a
safe
distance.
It
is
summer
after
all,
so
why
not
enjoy

cool
mornings
with
a

exercise
