San Bruno Library Presents "Once Upon a Time" #22
A
B
Hi
boys
and
girls,
and
welcome
to
San
Bruno
library,
presents
once
upon
a
time
I
miss
rocky
and
I
work
at
the
san
bruno
library
in
the
children's
department,
and
some
of
you
may
have
seen
me
up
there
as
well
as
miss
Barbara,
who
is
also
the
children's
librarian,
and
we
have
a
treat
for
you.
We
did
a
skit
based
on
this
book,
love
and
roast
chicken,
it's
a
folk
tale
from
Peru
and
it
takes
place
high
in
the
Andes
Mountains,
where
coolly
the
guinea
pig
has
just
discovered
a
field
of
delicious
sweet
grass.
B
C
Hi,
my
name
is
kuya
guinea
pig
and
have
I
got
a
story
to
tell
you
about
how
I
tricked
that
old,
tio
Antonio
the
Fox
one
day
I
was
going
up
and
down
the
Andes
Mountains
searching
for
some
sweet
grass
to
eat
when
oh,
it's
tio
antoniou.
What
am
I
gonna
do.
Oh
I
have
an
idea.
Okay,
dinner,
o
tu
Antonio!
You
can't
eat
me.
Don't
you
know
the
sky
is
falling.
C

A
C
C
C
A
A
Whoa,
it's
quiet
out
there.
Let's
see
how
the
end
of
the
world
looks
like
hey,
the
Sun
is
still
shining
and
the
birds
are
flying
all
over
the
mountains
and
the
lovely
Florinda,
the
farmer's
daughter,
she's
planting
potatoes
down
in
the
valley
down
there.
Hey
wait
a
minute.
C
B

A
C
A
Hey
hey
see,
you
suffer,
I'll,
have
an
idea,
I'll
trade
places
with
you.
You.
A
C
C
A
C
That
rascal
Jamie
Niccolo
he
believed
that
all
guinea
pig
I
what
it
story,
I'm
tricked
me
again,
Bonnie
sure.
C
A
C
A
A
hat
under
your
bike
helmet,
the
helmet,
should
be
worn
level
and
cover
your
forehead.
The
straps
should
always
be
fastened.
A
head
injury
means
a
brain
injury
if
your
helmet
doesn't
have
a
Consumer
Product,
Safety
Commission
sticker
get
one
that
does
brought
to
you
by
San
Bruno's,
bicycle
and
pedestrian
committee
and
San
Bruno,
cable,.
A
B
Welcome
back,
did
you
like
our
skit?
Well,
if
you
could
tell
we
had
a
lot
of
fun
doing
that
skit,
and
maybe
some
of
you
recognized
it
me
and
Miss
Barbra
went
to
one
at
some
of
your
schools
here
in
san
bruno
and
we
performed
that
skit,
and
we
also
performed
here
at
one
of
the
summer,
reading
programs,
and
just
so
you
know
you
can
check
out
the
book
here
at
the
library,
so
I
hope
you
enjoyed
it.
Can
you
tell
that
we
have
to
share
a
part?
Do
you
remember
what
part
that
was?
B
If
you
said
the
farmer,
you
were
right.
We
have
to
share
that
part.
Just
the
two
of
us
with
three
characters:
you're,
so
smart.
Now
we're
going
to
start
with
story
time
now,
I'm
going
to
read
a
couple
stories
and
we're
going
to
sing
some
songs.
So
why
don't
we
start
with
let's
get
together
or
the
more
we
get
together?
That's
one
of
my
favorite
songs.
Are
you
ready?
Let's
start
clapping
like
this,
the
more
we
get
together
together
together,
the
more
we
get
together.
B
B
B
B
B
B
B
Well,
Molly
lumet
melon
sang
out
a
quack,
quack
quack,
so
clear
and
strong
that
it
made
Ronald
Durkin
somersault
backwards,
hit
his
head
and
have
to
go
to
the
nurse.
All
the
children
cried
with
joy
to
be
free
of
Ronald
erken
for
the
rest
of
the
afternoon
and
Ronald
Durkin
felt
very
foolish
and
then
on
the
fourth
day
of
school,
Ronald
Durkin
said
that
she'd
made
the
snowflake
all
wrong,
but
Molly
Lou
melon
opened
up
her
paper
and
revealed
the
most
beautiful
snowflake
of
all
and
all
the
children
went
ooh
and
ahh.
B
On
the
fifth
day
of
school,
Ronald
Durkin
brought
Molly
Lou
melon,
a
stacking
penny
for
her
tooth
and
smiled
at
her
is
Ronald
Durkin
being
friendly.
Now,
I
think
he
is
that
night
Molly
Lou
melon
took
out
a
pencil
and
paper
wrote
a
letter
to
Grandma,
and
it
said
dear
grandma
I
wanted
to
tell
you
that
everything
you
told
me
was
exactly
right:
love,
Molly,
Lou,
melon
and
there's
grandma
reading
her
letter,
the
end
I
hope
you
enjoyed
this
story
about
making
friends
and
being
nice
to
one
another.
B
Let's
have
our
hands
up
like
this
and
then
let's
shut
them
like
that,
are
you
ready?
Do
you
know
what
song
we're
gonna
sing
open,
shut
them?
That's
right,
open,
shut
them,
open,
shut
them,
give
a
little
clap,
clap,
clap,
open,
shut
them,
open,
shut
them
put
them
in
your
lap,
lap,
lap
creep
them
crawl
and
creep
them
crawled
and
ride
up
to
your
chin.
Chin
chin
open
up
your
little
mouth,
but
do
not
let
them
in
don't
let
them
in
very
good.
B
You
can
put
it
behind
your
back
or
you
can
put
them
on
your
head,
but
don't
let
your
fingers
in
your
mouth?
Okay,
let's
see,
let's
do
another
song,
how
about
ten
little
fingers
two
little
hands.
Do
you
remember
this
song?
Let's
count
to
ten
one,
two,
three,
four:
five,
six,
seven,
eight!
Nine
ten!
Are
you
ready?
Let's
sing,
two
little
hands,
ten
little
fingers
two
little
hands.
Ten
little
fingers
two
little
hands.
B
Ten
little
fingers
sing
along
with
me:
123
little
fingers,
four
five,
six
little
finger,
seven,
eight,
nine
little
fingers
and
one
more
makes
ten.
Did
you
say
ten,
very
good.
All
right
well,
I
think,
it's
time
to
say
goodbye.
Let's
do
our
goodbyes
on
before
we
leave
ready
good
bye.
My
friends
goodbye,
my
friends.
It's
time
to
go
it's
time
to
go.
It
will
very
nice
to
be
with
all
of
you.
Good,
bye,
good,
bye,
great
I
had
so
much
fun
with
you.
