San Bruno Library Presents "Once Upon a Time"
episode #51 Stories and a Skit
Produced by San Bruno Cable TV July 2012
A
B
Hi
welcome
to
once
upon
a
time
the
cable
story,
time
of
the
San
Bruno
library,
my
name
is
miss
Barbara
and
I
have
some
great
stories
for
you
today.
So
are
you
ready?
Alright,
let's
get
started.
We're
glad
you're
here
today
we're
glad
you're
here
today,
hi
ho
meri.
Oh
we're
glad
you're
here
today,
very
good,
okay.
So
my
first
story
this
today
is
called
chicken
dance
by
tammy's,
our
with
pictures
by
a
dance
Santa.
B
There's
the
sign
on
the
barn
door.
Tonight:
barnyard
talent
show
grand
prize
tickets
to
Elvis
poultry
in
concert.
The
final
doodle
doom,
Marge
and
Lola
took
one
look
at
the
poster
on
the
barn
door
and
almost
lost
their
clock.
Elvis
poultry
was
top
bird.
They
had
to
win
those
tickets,
the
Ducks
paraded
by
don't
bother
drumsticks
ducks
win
every
year.
B
B
We
could
try
flying
large,
said,
Lola
grand
flying
chickens.
Now,
that's
talent,
the
chicken
scrambled
to
the
top
of
the
coop.
They
jumped
they
fluttered
and
they
sank
in
the
hay
up
to
their
wattles.
The
ducks
flew
by
bailout
chickens.
They
called
from
down
below
Marge
and
Lola,
dusted
themselves
off
and
shook
hey
from
their
feathers.
You
know
what
ass
lola
we
could
try
swimming
said:
Marge,
Lola
nodded
swimming
chickens.
Now,
that's
talent,
the
chickens
tottered
to
pond
they
jumped
back.
They
fluttered.
B
Marge
and
Lola
waded
ashore
and
spit
water
from
their
beaks.
Any
other
big
ideas
said:
Lola
Marge
stared
at
the
Setting
Sun
too
late,
It's
Showtime,
we'll
have
to
wing
it.
The
chickens
bumbled
to
the
barn,
found
their
seats
and
settled
in
for
the
show,
the
goats,
a
detractor
and
scored
a
7,
not
bad
said.
Marge.
B
B
Duck
this
put
the
chickens
in
a
foul
mood
they
booked,
they
flapped.
They
shook
more
more
more,
the
crowd,
chanted,
Marge
and
Lola
looked
at
each
other,
but
we're
just
doing
regular
chicken
stuff,
Marge,
whispered,
regular
chicken
stuff.
Now
that's
talent!
Well,
it
grabbed
a
mic.
Let's
bak
and
roll
the
chickens
bhakt
and
flapped,
and
shook
all
over
the
stage
Rock
they
scored
an
8.5
mm-hmm.
Well,
there's
the
duck
called
as
they
plucked
the
tickets
from
the
prize
table.
Doc's.
C
B
Marge
and
Lola
gazed
at
the
tickets
and
wiped
their
eyes.
Then,
from
top
of
the
bar
and
a
voice
crude,
you
chicks,
rocked
a
rooster
swooped
to
the
stage
you
had
me
all
shook
up,
elvis
poultry
was
in
the
building,
elvis
smooth
his
crest.
Well,
I
could
use
an
act
like
yours
before
margin.
Lola
could
say
a
word
duck.
Feathers,
flew
the.
B
The
next
day,
a
new
poster
was
tacked
on
every
barn
in
the
countryside,
Elvis,
poultry
and
the
chicken
dancers
on
stage
live
Marge
and
Lola.
The
big
bok
ba-cock
50
barns
in
50
days,
coming
to
a
farm
near
you,
the
end
of
the
chicken
dance,
that's
fun,
so
I
have
another
dance
story
to
go
along
with
that,
one.
This
time
with
rabbits
dance
away
by
George
Shannon,
with
pictures
by
Hosea,
auto
a
go
and
Ariane
Dewey
I.
B
B
When
he
saw
his
friends,
he
would
begin
to
dance
with
them
left
two
three
kick
right.
Two
three
kick
left
skip
right,
skip
turn
around
his
friends
like
to
dance,
but
not
all
the
time.
Still,
every
time
rabbit
met
them,
he
would
make
them
start
to
dance
left.
Two
three
kick
right.
Two
three
kick
left
skip
right,
skip
turn
around.
B
B
B
Now
all
of
them
were
trapped,
they
knew
they
could
not
all
safely
run
away.
Most
sad
and
shivered
as
Fox
began
to
choose
which
rabbit
would
be
first,
but
rabbit
asked
please,
as
he
nodded
to
the
others,
could
I
dance
with
my
friends
just
one
more
time
before
Fox
could
answer,
rabbit,
took
a
friend's
hand
and
began
to
sing
a
song.
Then
each
took
another's
and
they
all
began
to
dance
left.
Two
three
kick
right.
Two
three
kick
left
skip
right,
skip
turn
around
Fox
was
so
surprised.
B
You
did
not
know
what
to
do,
but
when
rabbit
danced
by,
he
told
Fox
what
to
do
dance
rabbit
said
and
they
grabbed
his
legs
left.
Two
three
kick
right.
Two
three
kick
left
skip
right,
skip
turn
around
Fox
scream
stop,
but
the
dance
went
on
left.
Two
three
kick
right:
two
three
kick:
let's
skip
right,
skip
turn
around.
Where
have
it
kept
singing
and
they
all
kept
dancing
every
step
they
took,
they
danced
a
little
faster
left.
Two
three
kick
right.
Two
three
kick
left
skip
right,
skip
turn
around.
Let's
do
three
kick
right.
B
Everyone
jumped,
but
halfway
across
the
river,
they
let
go
of
the
box.
He
crash
splat
splash
into
the
cold
river.
Water
has
a
rabbit
and
his
friends
landed
safely
on
the
grass,
then
before
Fox
had
time
to
swim
back
to
land
rabbit
in
his
friends
danced
home
as
fast
as
they
could
go
left
two
three
kick
right:
two
three
kick
left
skip
right,
skip
turn
around
home
and.
B
B
B
B
B
B
So
those
are
the
stories
I
have
for
you
right
now,
but
don't
go
away
because
after
the
break,
we're
going
to
have
a
wonderful
skit
for
you
by
all
the
children's
librarians
here
at
the
san
bruno
library.
I
hope
you'll
come
visit
us
at
the
library
for
story
time
and
for
all
these
books
that
you
can
check
out.
We
love
to
come.
We
love
to
have
you
come
and
help
you
find
books
that
you
would
like
to
read.
So,
let's
say
goodbye
for
the
moment
and
stay
tuned
for
our
skip.
That's
coming
up
next!
B
Well,
it's
time
to
say
goodbye
to
our
friends.
Well,
it's
time
to
say
goodbye
to
our
friends.
Well,
it's
time
to
say
goodbye,
give
a
wave
and
say
goodbye!
Well,
it's
time
to
say
goodbye
to
our
friend,
but
don't
go
away,
we're
going
to
share
a
story
with
you
from
the
book:
six
sister
tricksters
about
sister
duck
and
mr.
Fox.
All
right,
we'll
see.
A
A
Guys
know
statistically
friendly
kids
have
more
friends.
Yeah,
that's
obvious.
Did
you
know
most
people
think
they're
using
the
right
car
seat
for
their
kid,
but
they're,
not
the
parents
who
really
know
it
all
know
for
sure
that
their
child
is
in
the
right
seat.
Visit

the
right
seat
to
make
sure
your
child
is
protected.
C
Welcome
back
to
once,
upon
a
time,
san
bruno
libraries,
cable
story
time
today
we're
going
to
be
performing
our
summer
reading
skit
it's
a
story
from
this
book
called
sister
tricksters,
rollicking
tales
of
clever
females
by
Robert
sanssouci.
Today
I
will
be
playing
mr.
sly,
slickery
fox
and
I
will
be
sister
duck
and
I'll
be
playing
two
parts:
the
dog
and
the
skunk.
Oh,
my
goodness!
Alright,
are
we
ready,
yep
we're
ready?
Okay,
let's
get
started.
C
C
Greedy,
I
got
you
duck.
Are
you
friend
to
me,
if
not
you
oughta
be
excuse
me,
sir
mr.
slicker
is
flat
box
I'd
like
to
talk
to
you
for
a
minute,
but
I
can't
with
my
head
hanging
down
so
I'm
wondering.
Can
you
let
me
out
for
a
minute?
Let
you
up
no
way.
I
know
enough
to
hold
on
to
a
good
thing.
When
I
got
it
Oh,
mr.
Fox,
you
are
mighty
flat
or
summin
your
remarks
and
I
don't
mean
to
cheat
you
out
of
your
dinner.
Indeed,
I!
Don't
but
I,
just
wanna!
C
Ask
you,
sir.
Do
you
like
to
eat
pay?
Oh
now,
you're
talking
sister
duck.
Why
are
you
shivering
on
such
a
warm
day?
Oh,
it's
nothing!
You
know
when
you
have
a
touch
of
that
flew
the
top,
and
you
got
that
fever
here,
just
a
badge
to
shiver,
no
matter
how
boom
arm
the
day
is
so
well
I'd
like
to
ask
you,
sir,
are
you
sure
laughs
like
to
eat
peg
I
heard
tell
you
did
but
I
wasn't
sure
enough,
Oh
big,
that
means
he'll
and
pork
chops
and
bacon.
C
Oh
I,
don't
know
why
you
gotta
bring
up
that
meat
when
you
know
I
can't
get
any
now.
I
asked
you
to
tell
me
the
plain
truth.
Sir:
would
you
prefer
to
eat
duck
or
pig
pig?
Give
me
pig
every
time
while
when
you
swallow
duck
down
hole
the
way
I
do
feathers
and
all
oh,
why
your
throat
gets
mighty
woolly
and
that's
a
fact.
West
sometimes
I
think
I'll
choke
to
death
on
a
duck.
It,
sir
him
right
and
I
hope
he
does
Oh
what
nothing.
C
A
A
C
C
Boom
right
into
the
middle
of
those
things
and
keep
it
all
up
catch
them
by
surprise.
You
will
sounds
good
to
me.
Get
out
of
my
use.
Ferroni
duck
on
here.
I
go!
Should
I
go
over
here,
oh
by
the
way,
farther
away
again,
that's
good
okay,
Oh!
What
I,
2030
I
go!
Get
my
house
disturbing
me
and
my
puppies.
What
in
that
good,
productive
old
man,
boss
I'll
show
you
how
well
one
minute
long
it'll
put
my
paws
down
your
throat.
C
Never
you
mind,
sister,
that
you
are
the
occasion
of
this
rumpus
I'll
pay
you
back
for
this.
Just
wait
and
see.
You're
gonna
take
another
free
ride
under
my
arm.
This
time
you
won't
get
off
so
easy.
You
can
pin
it
down
in
your
memory
that
I'm
gonna
pay
you
back
with
interest
on
the
money.
Why
do
sell
mr.
Fox
20?
Why
don't
you
sponsor
I
ain't?
Getting
any
younger?
C
B
C
B
Right
outside
my
door,
I
guess
I
better
stay
here
for
a
little
while,
maybe
I'll,
just
read
a
little
bit.
C
C
Hey
yo,
mrs.
skur,
oh,
how
do
you
do
duck?
Won't
you
come
on
in
a
minute
how's
it
going
well
I'm
wonderin
I
like
to
ask
you
a
favor,
a
favor.
What
kind
of
favor
well
I've
been
feeling
a
little
bit
poorly
lately.
Oh
I
see
it's
my
delicate
stomach.
Mm-Hmm,
oh
and
I
know
my
friends
and
family
down
at
the
pond
are
worried
about
me.
I'm
wondering
I
am
feeling
a
little
bit
better.
Could
you
go
down
and
tell
them
I'm
on
the
mend?
Well,
I,
don't
know
duck
I've
got
lots
to
do
today.
C
C
C
With
me
well
now,
I
think
you
can
guess
what
happened
next.
