Actually,
we
came
down
to
have
breakfast
this
morning
and,
as
we
were
driving
across
the
street,
we
saw
these
people
in
my
group
from
my
neighbor
said:
are
they
happy
with
the
parade
and
I
said
no
I,
don't
think
so,
and
then
we
went
into
the
restaurant
and
found
out
they
were
having
the
farmers
market
and
it's
amazing
all
this
wonderful
fruit
and
the
vegetables
and
I
thought
I'm
gonna
come
out
here
and
see
what
they
have.
They
have
delicious
sweet
white
nectarines.
E
F
The
produce
here
that
I've
seen
so
far
is
really
fresh.
It's
pressured
in
my
backyard.
The
the
farmers
market
is
now
going
to
be
every
Sunday
through
middle
of
November,
and
it's
something
that
the
community
has
said
that
they
wanted.
So
hopefully
everybody
will
come
down
and
partake
and
support
the
vendors
that
have
come
in,
so
we
could
make
it
bigger.
G
John
Silveira
here
with
the
Pacific
Coast
Farmers
Market
Association
we've
been
working
with
the
San
Bruno
Chamber
of
Commerce
for
quite
some
time.
Actually
conversations
started
last
year
and
the
Chamber
of
Commerce
was
interested
in
in
a
farmers
market
for
downtown
San
Bruno.
So
by
gosh.
Here
you
go
part
of
our
mission
at
the
Pacific
Coast
Farmers
Market
Association
is
to
provide
a
viable
economic
outlet
to
California
food
producers
and
that's
farmers.
Those
are
the
people
that
grow
our
food.
So
that's
why
it's
important
that
you
shop
at
the
farmers
market
to
support
those
farms.
G
Every
dollar
you
spend
out
here
with
a
farm
that
money
goes
back
to
the
farm,
to
keep
that
farm
viable
and
that
farm
may
not
be
here
in
San
Bruno,
but
it
is
a
California
farm
and
they
are
producing
the
food
that
we
eat,
whether
you
buy
it
in
the
grocery
store
or
out
at
a
farmers
market.
We
really
want
you
to
buy
fresh,
buy
local.
It's
it's
great
to
be
here.
We've
got
a
great
sunny
day
here
in
San
Bruno,
and
we
are
just
pleased
to
be
here
and
we
thank
everybody
for
support.
B
In
this
one,
you've
all
come
together
with
a
lot
of
hard
work
from
both
the
chamber
see
because
partners
market-
it's
just
excellent,
as
you
can
see
they
put
on
a
first-class
farmers,
market
and
they're
the
ones
that
we
really
wanted
to
be
here.
So
we
waited
until
we
could
do
it
right
and
I
hope.
You
all
agree
with
us
I'd
like
to
introduce
our
council
members
that
are
here,
we're
going
to
do
a
ribbon-cutting.
We've
got
Rico
Medina.
B
Dara,
our
city
clerk,
Kara,
Bonner
and
Erin
Ackman,
who
is
one
of
our
biggest
supporters
of
the
chamber.
He
sits
on
our
board
and
so
the
city
liaison-
and
he
worked
tirelessly
to
get
this
together
with
all
the
permits
and
everything
so
Erin
acting
director
of
community
services
development
director
of
community.
Thank
you
all.
I
The
mayor
clerics,
Rantala
and
vice
mayor
Jimmy,
we
unfortunately
we're
not
able
to
come,
though
they
send
their
best
they're
very
eager
for
this
to
be
a
success
and
the
council
is
so
excited,
the
chicas
done
a
fabulous
job
and
we
hope
you
all
enjoy
it
and
spread
the
word
and
it's
great.
The
merchants
on
San
Mateo
Avenue
are
very,
very
supportive
of
this,
so
we're
not
taking
anything
away
from
them.
They're
excited
to
see
this
much
foot
traffic
down
on
a
Sunday.
So
if
you
enjoy
it
spread
the
word.
I
A
This
is
a
ceremonial
basket
that
we
present
to
the
city
of
San
Bruno
for
having
us
here
and
providing
a
great
economic
outlet
to
the
farmers
in
California.
So
on
behalf
of
all
the
farmers,
thank
you
very
much
for
everything
that
you've
done.
You've
got
a
great
city
staff
they've
been
great
to
work
with.
