Friends, colleagues, teachers and all of the support staff that helped make San Bruno a wonderful place to work. We.

Have amazing teachers at Sandburg, Park, School District? Thank you for the incredible job each and every one of you are doing totally appreciate it. We wouldn't be where we are today without our amazing teachers on.

Behalf of the City Council and the San Bruno community, for the difference that you make the lives that you touch and the spirit that lives on in every child that goes through the school system. Thank.

Our food service staff, thank you for your dude diligence and preparing safe meals for our students during the shelter days. Requirements I especially want to thank our custodial and facility staff. You are my rock stars. Thank.

One year ago, I entered your district for a one-year interim term day. One we encountered the unthinkable with the Trojan ransomware internet virus. I was pleasantly surprised that the teachers in San Bruno didn't miss a beat, as we started the school year without the Internet.

Over the past year, you have faced numerous challenges most recently, this unprecedented shelter-in-place order.

Helped us get through this pandemic with distance learning. We.

Have at home learning and it's complicated, we have the Google classrooms, you are doing a fantastic job. We all appreciate you thank you for what you're doing for our community that.

Is why the San Bruno Community Foundation immediately embraced the idea of funding new laptops for every San Bruno Park School, District teacher, so.

That you have the up-to-date digital tools. You need to teach your students online from your homes as we all try to stay safe in the face of Kovach 19 teachers.

We hope that these new laptops will make teaching from home a little bit easier for each of you and will send the message of appreciation from our entire community to you. Thanks.
