From YouTube: San Bruno Operation Clean Sweep
Description
City of San Bruno's Operation Clean Sweep
2015
B
Name
is
Irene
O'connell
I'm,
a
Councilwoman
for
the
city
of
San,
Bruno
and
I'm,
the
chair
of
beautification
task
force,
and
we
r
group
that
organizes
what
is
called
Operation
Clean
Sweep.
We
hold
it
the
first
Saturday
of
May
of
every
year
rain
or
shine,
and
the
basic
concept
is
to
go
out
and
beautifies
san
bruno.
They
provide
government
swamp.
A
My
name
is
Felicia
near
be
I'm
with
for
ecology
and
also
part
of
the
beautification
task
force.
The
group
that
puts
on
this
annual
citywide
cleanup
event
today
for
Operation
Clean
Sweep.
We
will
have
crews
going
out
and
cleaning
streets
of
san
bruno
from
residential
streets.
Commercial
streets,
like
san
mateo
avenue,
will
have
supplanting
on
san
mateo
avenue
as
well.
Some
painting
you
may
see
some
friends
or
neighbors,
picking
up
some
garbage
and
recycling
from
the
streets
or
spreading
guerrilla
hair
on
some
of
the
planters
on
the
avenue.
It's
going
to
be
a
fun
event.
A
E
E
My
name
is
soham
Bhatia
and
we're
here
at
the
annual
san
bruno
clean
sweep
and
that's
basically,
what
we're
trying
to
do
is
our
find
a
beautifu
san
bruno,
the
city,
that
we
love
so
much
and
we're
just
trying
to
take
care
of
it
make
sure
it's
clean.
This
is
about
my
11th
time
coming
here,
so
yeah
I'm,
actually
a
freshman
at
Berkeley
right
now,
but
I
made
sure
I
came
back
just
for
this.
E
Just
cuz
I
kind
of
enjoyed
this
so
much
exactly
like
it's
really
important
to
be
a
part
of
the
community
and
try
to
effect
positive
change.
Somehow,
some
with
my
dad
right
here,
you
actually
got
me
started
here
when
you
came
in
like
when
I
was
about
six
or
seven,
so
I
made
sure
to
drag
him
out
today
too,
because
he
had
a
lot
of
work,
but
he
made
sure
to
come
out.
We
went
up
by
glenview
insane.
We
don't
have
yeah
near
the
lunardi's
area,
so
that
was
pretty
dirty.
E
We
found
remnants
of
a
car
accident
up
there,
bicycle
uncoupled,
mattresses,
Susan
adventurous,
there's
one
of
those
one
of
the
harder
trails,
but
it
was
definitely
fun.
I
feel
like
it's
important
for
young
people
to
come
out,
because
every
year
I
come
I
feel
like
I,
see
less
and
less
we
got
the
scouts
coming
up.
E
There's
not
a
lot
I
feel
like
it's
important
when
I
take
apart
of
this
in
the
earlier
the
start,
they
start
coming
here,
the
more
important
cities
you
learn
about
how
to
take
care
of
the
environment
suit
with
other
sort
of
like
gardening
compost
and
most
of
all,
there's
free
food.
So
you
can't
come
out
for
that.
Then
I,
don't
know
what
you're
gonna
come
out
for.
Thank.
B
G
G
Our
club
is
strictly
volunteer,
helping
out
the
community
just
giving
back
to
and
doing
whatever
we
can
do
to
help
it's
a
great
experience,
one
first
of
all
units
it.
We
have
a
great
community
out
here,
a
lot
of
great
people
involved
and
one
I
think
giving
back
to
the
community
is
a
really
big
thing
in
this,
and
everybody
is
here
under
the
same
ideal.
B
Lions
they
are
up
at
Beckner
shelter
and
they
had
read
modeled
in
a
couple
years
ago:
new
roof
on
and
cleaned
it
up,
and
this
year,
they're
repainting.
So
that
is
also,
but
it's
all
done
so.
Hopefully,
then,
this
summer
people
will
be
able
to
enjoy
everything.
We've
done
and
they'll
remember
to
come
next
year
and
help
us
out
and
keep
their
own
city
beautiful.
H
I
My
name
is
rinella
piensa
and
again
I'm.
Also
a
member
of
Alpha
Phi
Omega
sent
San
Francisco
and
Silicon
Valley,
and
this
one
to
add
on
to
what
brother
Phillip,
as
mentioned
the
group
that
we
have
right
now.
We've
been
doing
this
for
so
many
years
and
we
are
professionals
of
different
areas
and
we
came
all
the
way
from
some
guy
came
from
pinole
and
there
are
sub
from
San
Jose
and
four
different
Fremont
and
different
areas
of
the
Bay
Area
and
outside
of
the
bay
area.
B
J
I've
done
Operation
Clean
Sweep
a
couple
of
years
now
because
I've
been
on
the
rotary
for
a
couple
of
years
and
we've
had
a
chance
to
do
all
kinds
of
things.
We
painted
a
fence
for
an
elementary
school
last
year
and
I
think
I
went
home
with
more
paint,
then
I
put
on
that
fence,
but
I
did
a
really
good
job.
The
whole
team
did
a
really
good
job
and
the
fence
was
beautiful.
When
we
finished
they.
B
K
K
Long
san
mateo
avenue
here
theaters
coming
down
our
community,
raised
the
old
bank
building
on
the
other
side
and
soul,
so
hopefully
those
2n
to
move
towards
the
middle
and
continue
the
vibrancy
that
we're
starting
here.
So
it's
a
lot
of
fun
and
we
look
forward
to
completing
the
day
with
every
thanks
for
participating
and.
D
Well,
my
name
is
Tom
Gretch
we're
here
today
on
cherry
avenue
at
a
small
Park,
which
name
I,
don't
know
Commodore
park
I'm
not
from
san
bruno
and
we
being
tema
for
the
other
three
aren't
here.
Yet
we're
going
to
start
here,
work
over
to
sneak
work
down
smith
del
camino
boss,
the
street,
opened
by
the
cemetery
and
work
our
way
back.
Everybody
pitches
in
it's
a
lot
of
fun
meet
a
lot
of
nice
people,
friends,
neighbors,
get
to
know
a
lot
of
new
people
and
seeing
the
community
come
together
and
really
make
a
difference.
D
The
climate
is
excellent.
There's
not
a
cloud
in
the
sky,
as
you
can
see
in
the
park,
it's
a
perfect
day
to
go
to
the
park
and
have
some
fun
I
would
encourage
everybody.
If
you
see
this
think
about
it
for
next
year,
it's
a
lot
of
fun.
You
meet
your
neighbors,
meet
some
new
friends
and
have
a
lot
of
fun
and
make
a
difference.
We're.
H
On
a
sneak
lane
right
near
the
kress,
poor,
neighborhood
I
picked
this
route
because
it's
kind
of
nice
out
here
there's
a
lot
of
trees
shady
but
seems
a
little
cleaner
this
year,
just
kind
of
a
good
thing,
I
guess
we're
starting
to
make
a
difference
out
here.
First,
a
couple
of
times
I
walked
this
route.
There
was
a
definitely
a
lot
more
trash,
so
pretty
happy
about
what
I'm
seeing
out
here.
K
Alright,
if
I
could
have
your
attention,
please
real
quick
I
know:
you're
looking
for
a
hamburger,
listen
to
us,
I'm,
Jimmy,
Wayne
and,
as
I've
said
for
a
number
of
years,
neither
very
proud,
marikas,
wonderful
city
of
temporal.
So
there's
some
very
important
people
here
today
and
those
people
who
are
you
because
you
gave
Saturday
morning,
dump
beautify
this
town
we've
done
in
Europe
here.

M
Modest
recognition
of
all
the
1000,
so
on
behalf
of
the
samba
member,
thank
you
there's
a
lot
of
talk
about
community
here
and
I.
Think
events
like
this
and
efforts
like
this
turn
the
city
into
a
community,
one
of
which
I'm
very
proud
to
be
so.
Thank
you
and
congratulations
and
it
simply
recognizes
the
San
Bruno
centennial
trials,
unveiling
ceremony,
synchronicity.
N
Many
years
and
I
know
my
hard
work,
it
is
and
what
a
rewarding
job
it
is
to
their
all
the
boy
scouts
and
the
Girl
Scouts
and
all
civic
minded
people.
Since
you
are
civic
minded.
We
really
want
to
hear
from
you,
as
you
know,
the
70
million
dollars
that
is
important
to
the
city
due
to
the
devastating
fire
that
happened
almost
five
years
ago
is
being
considered
on
we're,
considering
what
needs
to
be
needs
to
be
spent,
and
what
we
going
to
do
is
hear
from
you.
N
We
want
to
hear
what
you
like
about
san
bruno.
We
want
to
hear
what
you
think
in
venues
improvement,
and
there
are
five
people
here
from
an
organization
will
be
AC
and
they
are
have
come
walking
around
with
swords,
and
we
hope
that
you'll
take
a
few
almonds
today.
We
just
answer
a
few
questions
and
take
their
survey
on
what
you
think
the
70
million
dollars
to
be
spent
on,
and
also
there's
going
to
be
three
town
halls
coming
up.
The
first
one
is
on
Monday
the
11th
in
cappuccino.
N
The
next
one
is
on
Thursday
may
28
of
Bel
Air
and
the
final
one
is
wednesday
june.
Third,
at
the
san
berdo
Senior
Center
we'd
love
to
have
you
come
to
the
town
hall.
You
don't
have
to
get
up
and
speak
in
front
of
a
microphone
is
very
informal.
Small
group
discussion
and
we'd
like
to
hear
from
you
here's,
but
it's
also
to
be
focus
groups
there's
online
survey.

O
I'm
Michelle,
lafortune
and
I
live
in
san
bruno,
and
this
is
my
first
year
doing.
The
cleanup
I
wanted
to
get
my
son
out
of
the
house
and
you
know
have
do
something
different.
I
got
my
usually
my
saturdays
are
all
laundry
and
housework,
so
I
got
my
laundry
done
thursday,
night
and
friday
night,
so
I
could
come
out
today.
I
cleaned
up
on
el
camino.
O
We
started
at
the
cable
TV
store
at
your
store
and
then
we
went
down
and
then
we
put
two
black
bags
on
the
corner
of
san
luis
avenue
and
el
camino,
and
then
we
put
another
one
next
to
the
gun
shop,
where
the
vacant
for
lease
building
is
right.
Next
to
your
cable
TV
store,
so
we
put
another
one.
Over
there
there
was
a
rug.
Looked
like
somebody's,
throw
away
rug
with
some
dog
food
morning.
O
A
A
Volunteer
will
receive
a
barbecue
lunch,
courtesy
of
ecology,
beautification
task
force
and
the
city
of
san
bruno
give
everybody
a
gift,
and
this
year
we
have
drawstring
gift
bags
full
with
some
really
fun
goodies.
So
every
year
you
give
us
a
couple
hours
of
your
time
and
we
will
thank
you
with
lunch
and
I
thank
a
gift.
Thank.
Q
Q
Jesus,
this
would
be
about
my
third
time.
I
think
I
have
not.
That
is
some.
Some
nice
thank-you
gifts,
folks
are
getting
that
taken
care
of
and
but
right
now
I'm
getting
ready
for
the
for
the
the
complimentary
lunch
she's
very
nice.
Well,
they
were
having
a
hot
dog.
I
know:
Jim
he's
not
talking
so.
