B
B
Well,
as
we
know,
there's
certainly
been
a
rash
of
burglaries
throughout
the
Bay
Area
at
the
peninsula,
and
a
neighborhood
watch
is
a
way
to
get
together
with
your
neighbors
and
so
on.
Sign
up.
You
can
sign
up
and
register
and
with
certain
criteria,
but
basically
looking
out
for
each
other
and
to
be
very
honest,
the
last
few
burglary
people
that
have
been
busted
in
various
cities
have
been
caught
basically
by
neighbors,
seen
something
suspicious
and
reporting
it.
So.
C
D
The
police
department
on
61
67
100
and
asked
for
information
to
be
sent
out
and
it
will
get
the
committee
and
we
will
send
them
out
the
brochure
and
try
to
get
enough
of
their
neighbors
together
to
have
a
meeting
with
the
police
department
and
make
a
commitment
to
basically
be
active
eyes
and
ears.
Okay,.
E
Do
the
chair
Rico
just
to
highlight
on
that
too
I
know:
I
tended
the
last
national
night
out
of
Grundy
park
and
it
was
interesting
because
you
had
a
neighborhood.
They
went
out
there
had
a
BBQ
potluck
and
in
essence,
oddly
enough,
you
had
to
folks
who
lived
across
the
street
for
several
years,
who
had
just
met
each
other
that
night.
So
it
is
a
matter
of
reaching
out
within
the
community
within
your
neighborhood
to
make
sure
it's
safe.
E
You
also
can
transition
it
into
if
the
ordered
emergency
or
disaster
to
make
sure
that
you
take
care
of
each
other.
Those
that
may
need
some
assistance
during
a
tragedy
or
disaster,
which
we
know
we
have
experienced
in
this
town.
So
we
know
how
important
it
is
to
reach
out
to
know
your
neighbors
and
to
be
a
part
of
a
program,
and
so
when
I
was
there,
I
was
impressed
about
how
the
neighborhood
came
together
and
really
enjoyed
their
time
and
getting
to
know
each
other.
Some
for
the
very
first
time,
yeah.
A
Well,
as
I
say
to
all
the
Commission's
boards
and
committees,
you,
the
ones
that
are
the
lifeblood
of
this
city,
people
don't
realize
how
many
hours
thousands
of
hours
everybody
puts
in
volunteers
for
this
city.
So
we
really
appreciate
your
efforts
also,
as
you
mentioned
in
the
beginning,
we
have
two
vacancies
on
your
on
your
committee.
It's
really
important
that
we
keep
these
fill
so
anybody
who's
here
or
anybody
interested
that's
listening,
please
apply
to
the
City
Clerk's
office.
