like
to
read
this
and
then
I'll
introduce
Ben
from
the
district
proclaiming
the
week
of
paper
21st
through
27
2013
as
West
Nile
virus
and
mosquito
and
Vector
Control
awareness
week,
whereas
West
Nile
virus,
as
in
mesquite,
mosquito-borne
disease
that
can
result
in
death
or
severe
debilitation
of
humans,
horses,
birds
and
wildlife
and
where
I
was
in
2012.
A
Westlaw
virus
resulted
in
19
deaths
in
California
and
over
470
individuals
in
31
counties
tested
positive
for
the
virus
which
over
300
developed,
neuro
invasive
disease
and
whereas
adequately
funded
mosquito
control
disease.
Surveillance
of
public
awareness
programs
are
the
best
way
to
prevent
outbreaks
of
West
Nile
virus
and
whereas
mosquitoes
continue
to
be
a
source
of
illness,
death
and
human
suffering
and
professional
mosquito
control
based
on
scientific
research,
has
made
great
advances
in
reducing
mosquitoes
and
the
diseases
they
transmit.

And
whereas
the
san
mateo
county,
mosquito
and
Vector
Control
District
works
with
other
public
agencies
to
reduce
pesticide
risk
to
humans,
animals
and
the
environment,
while
protecting
human
health
and
whereas
West
Nile
virus
and
mosquito
and
Vector
Control
Awareness
Week
will
increase
the
public's
awareness
of
West
Nile
virus
and
of
the
importance
of
integrated
management
in
controlling
mosquitoes
and
other
vectors
in
San.
Mateo
County.
A
Now,
therefore,
be
it
resolved
that
I
Jim
Irwin,
mayor
of
the
city
of
San
Bruno,
do
hereby
proclaim
the
week
of
April
21st
through
April
27
2013
to
be
designated
as
West
Nile
virus
and
mosquito
and
Vector
Control
Awareness
Week
in
the
city
of
San,
Bruno
and
I'd
like
to
present
this
to
Ben
and
also
recognize
mr.
Rico,
who
was
our
representative
on
that
board.

am

technician
for
San
Mateo,
County
mosquito,
vector
control
responsible
for
servicing
san
bruno.
I
do
the
control
and
inspections
as
well
as
a
road
inspections
and
consultations.
I
would
like
to

proclamation.

parks
department,
staff

and
squirrels
and
the
eyes
of
san
bruno
residents,
who
have
reported
dead
birds

squirrels.

work
for
