Description
San Bruno City Council Meeting April 24, 2012
9. Public Comment
A
Item
number
nine
public
comment
items
not
on
the
agenda.
It
is
the
council's
policy
or
for
a
matters
raised
in
this
forum
to
staff
for
investigation
and
our
action
were
appropriate.
The
Brown
Act
prohibits
the
council
from
discussing
or
acting
upon
any
matter,
not
agendized
pursuit
state
law.
Would
anyone
like
to
address
this
under
public
comment?
Please
state
your
name
and
street
name.
Please.
B
B
It
was
a
terrible,
horrifying
experience
and
I
hope
it
never
happens
again.
I
don't
know
what
you
can
do,
but
I
want
to
thank
Sam,
brutal
police
officer,
fight
and
animal
control
officer
together
for
responding
so
quickly.
I
guess
that's
all
I
had
to
say,
but
it's
a
terrible
thing
that
happened
and
I
hope
it.
Those
dogs
never
get
out
again
to
do
this.
You
might
be
loving
in
their
home.
C
First,
you
want
to
express
our
sympathy
for
the
loss
of
your
dog
and
to
let
you
know
that
we
are
still
under
investigating
this
incident.
We
have
yet
to
locate
the
owners
of
those
two
pit
bulls,
but
we
are
working
with
the
peninsula
Humane
Society
to
try
and
identify
those
owners
and
follow
up
with
this
investigation,
including
any
potential
charges
or
further
actions
on
the
animals
involved.
But
again
it
is
under
investigation.
We
hope
to
identify
the
owner
of
those.
Two
dogs
are.
C
D
C
C
Anyone
encounters
a
dog,
and
if
that
dog
is
on
a
leash
and
there's
there,
the
dog
is
make
some
overt
actions
or
they're
afraid
they
should
notify
us
right
away.
If
somebody
encounters
a
loose
dog
and
they
can't
find
an
owner
nearby
again
reported
to
us,
we
do
respond
to
those
barring
any
other
emergency
that
we're
on.
We
do
respond
to
those
we
do,
try
and
Corral
the
dog,
and
then
we
notify
the
Humane
Society,
which
comes
out
and
picks
us
up.
C
E
Thank
You
chief
mr.
Muir,
yes,
if
I
might
just
add
to
a
police
chief,
just
advised
you
beyond
the
investigation
and
the
immediate
coordination
with
the
peninsula
Humane
Society,
one
of
the
things
that
the
City
Attorney's
Office
is
has
been
involved
with
I
would
say
to
frequently
because
this
is
unfortunately
not
and
an
isolated
situation
has
happened
from
time
to
time
that
irresponsible
owners
will
leave
their
their
dogs
unattended
in
our
city.
