Description
San Bruno Planning Commission Meeting July 20, 2010
6. Discussion
A
B
I
shall
tell
you
two
things
before
that
the
the
first
thing
is
I,
believe
everyone
got
the
email
land
of
that
Pamela
Thompson.
Our
city
attorney
for
the
past
eight
years
accepted
a
new
position
in
she'll,
beginning
as
the
city
of
Redwood
City
city
attorney
in
August.
So,
as
you
notice,
Pamela
is
not
here.
She
has
officially
left
the
city
and
will
begin
in
redwood
city.
B
Soon
we
have
hired
a
law
firm
out
of
San,
Carlos
and
Robert
lands
owned
will
be
serving
as
our
city
interim
city
attorney
as
we
go
out
and
recruit
for
a
full-time
city
attorney.
Mr.
lands
owned
was
the
city
attorney
in
San
Carlos
for
a
couple
decades.
In
fact,
when
I
was
there
as
an
assistant
planner
about
ten
years
ago,
he
was
the
attorney
there,
while
I
was
there
as
well.
So
he
was
a
lot
of
land
use.
B
Smaller
agendas
like
tonight,
he
will
not
be
attending
these
meetings
and
you'll
be
continued
to
provide
guidance
to
both
the
Planning
Commission,
as
well
as
to
staff.
The
second
all
the
planning
commissioners
should
have
got
the
draft
copy
of
the
transit
corridor
plan.
This
has
been
in
the
works
for
the
last
year
and
a
half.
We
had
a
steering
committee
meeting
about
the
last
steering
committee
meeting
about
nine
months
ago
and
based
on
the
vision
on
the
two
community
workshops,
as
well
as
the
five
steering
committee
meetings
we
administered
with
MIG.
B
So
please
take
a
look
at
this,
provide
as
many
comments
as
you
can
we'll
be
listening
to
your
direction,
and
eventually
this
will
be
a
before
you
for
your
recommendation
to
the
City,
Council
and
third
thing
architectural
review
meeting
who
would
like
to
volunteer,
which
should
be
a
Saudi
chase
and
smooth.
Thank
you
very
much.
That's
it.
A
B
D
B
You
could
listen
in
to
I.
Just
went
a
comment
on
it.
The
we
receive
we
received
a
letter
from
her,
and
we
have
received
letters
in
the
past
about
grace
Honda
not
complying
with
their
conditions
of
approval
and
their
conditions
of
approval
and
Municipal
Code.
She
has
two
primary
comments
on
there.
It's
that
the
commercial
vehicles
that
unload
parts
for
grace,
Honda
used,
Linden
Avenue,
parked
there
and
then
unload
and
go
through
the
memory
lane
back
entrance
into
grace
Honda
and
obviously
they
come
in
an
early
morning
at
time
and
disrupt
the
residential
neighborhood.
B
The
second
complaint
that
she
had
within
that
letter
is
that
there
is
trash
bins
that
are
left
out
there
beyond
the
period
that
they're
allowed
to
be
left
out
there,
as
most
people
know
when
your
trash
gets
picked
up,
you're
supposed
to
bring
back
your
trash
cans
in
that
day
and
then
store
them
and
bring
them
out
again
to
the
right
of
way
when
there's
a
trash
pick-up
day.
The
third
complained-
that's
not
on
there,
but
I
have
spoke
to
her
in
the
past,
and
we
have
been.
D
C
Not
directed
at
the
neighbors
it
might
as
well
be
because
there
is
no,
how
do
you
say,
barriers
to
the
light
going
directly
over
there?
Could
you
also
inquire
about
that,
because
that
was
a
specific
condition
in
one
of
the
most
recent
approvals
for
them?
I
think
it
would
be
better
if
they,
if
they
completely
replace
those
lights
with
down
lighting,
if
they
can't
find
a
way
to
shield
the
light
Oh
we'll.
C
A
B
There's
it
depends
on
where
downtown
the
height
only
increases
by
about
five
to
ten
feet.
The
height,
the
largest
building,
is
shown
at
the
San
Bruno
lumber
site,
which
would
be
a
mixed
use,
with
retail
on
the
ground
floor,
as
well
as
the
train
station
parking
lot
on
the
ground
floor
with
an
office
building
above
and
that
would
go
somewhere
between
probably
about
65
to
70
feet.
