thank
you
for
your
time,
I'm
here
tonight
to
recommend
the
participant
new
service
truck
for
a
water
division.
The
vehicle
we're
replacing
is
a
1999a
zuzu,
cab
and
chassis
with
utility
body.
This
vehicle
has
used
five
days
a
week
and
for
after-hours
emergency
repairs
performing
such
task
as
recurring:
water,
mains
repair
and
replacement
of
water
services,
meter
water
meter,
installs
and
replacements,
fire
hydrant,
big
trouble,
repair
and
replacements.
At
the
time
this
vehicle
was
versus
purchase
most
of
our
large
jobs
for
performing
outside
contractors.

At
this
time,
over,
seventy
percent
of
our
jobs
are
performed
by
staff.
Therefore,
the
size
of
this
vehicle
is
not
suited
for
today's
daily
operation.
The
new
vehicle
will
have
a
larger
gross
vehicle
weight
and
be
able
to
carry
all
the
tools
and
supply,
but
the
staff
now
utilizes.
This
truck
will
have
a
tamper
holder
located
on
the
front
bumper,
which
will
drop
down
to
ground
level
for
easy
access
and
make
it
easier
on
our
employees
backs
and
prevent
some
of
the
injuries
we
see.

how
much
this
was
being
utilized.
How
many
days
have
been
down
this
year?
What
the
cost
was
for
the
maintenance
for
the
year
to
this
vehicle
and
obviously
I'm
being
told
that
it
was
out
for
23
days
due
to
maintenance
repairs.
This
year
alone
is
a
vehicle
that
is
utilized
for
emergencies
and
must
be
maintained
and
ready
and
with
the
new
apparatus
that
it
brings,
it
seems
that
it's
a
warranted
purchase
cerning
any.
