Description
San Bruno City Council Meeting November 12, 2013
10a. 2013 General Municipal Election Results
A
B
We
have
approximately
nineteen
thousand
eight
hundred
and
ninety-one
voters
out
of
those
voters,
Marouane,
oh
what
a
difference:
okay,
Marouane
we
see
3489
votes,
councilmember,
Rico
Medina,
receive
2333
votes,
councilmember
Kenneth
error
received
two
thousand
79
votes:
candidate
Marty
medina
receive
1617
votes,
Canada,
Andrew,
Mason
received
1135
boats,
City
Treasurer
John
morning
received
3412
votes,
and
today,
Corky
Romano
received
3509
and
I've
got
my
figures
from
shape
the
future,
which
is
out
actually
the
county
site.
There
is
another
site
called
smart
voter
at
which
is
the
lake
of
women.
B
Voters
and
those
figures
are
slightly
a
little
larger,
but
I
didn't
take
those
figures
from
there.
I
took
them
from
the
other.
Now
the
municipal
returns,
our
community
code
states,
the
city
council,
shall
meet
in
the
city
hall
chambers
of
city
hall,
at
seven
thirty
p.m.
on
the
Tuesday
next
succeeding
the
day,
each
general
or
special
municipal
election
and
the
county
doesn't
verify
our
numbers
until
28
days
after
November.
B
At
this
meeting
also,
the
vice
mayor
shall
be
selected
from
among
the
members
of
the
City
Council,
who
have
not
served
as
a
mayor
or
a
vice
mayor,
and
all
of
you
have
served
as
vice
mayor.
So
if
all
the
members
of
the
council
have
served
as
either
mayor
board
vice
mayor,
the
vice
mayor
shall
be
the
person
whose
service
as
mayor
vice
mayor
was
lace.
Recent,
which
means
Rico
Medina,
will
be
our
next
vice
mayor.
C
C
Yeah
I
I
mean
I,
made
a
request.
The
cat
out
of
the
bag
I
made
a
request
to
the
council
city
clerk
and
copied
the
city
manager.
C
If
we
can't
combine
our
our
installation
of
newly
elected
officers
with
san
berdo,
Park
School
District
that
would
be
I
would
assume
that
it's
there
under
the
same
same
guidelines
election
guidelines
and
that
we
could
consolidate
the
community
in
having
a
ceremony
there
also
to
extend
an
invitation
to
our
newly
elected
trustees
of
the
cemetery,
County
Community
College,
District,
Richard,
Hawley,
Burr
and
Tom
Moore,
who
also
were
elected
in
all
this.
Also,
the
representative
from
cemetery
union
high
school
district,
who
ran
unopposed
Linda,
Lee's
Dwyer,
so
I,
want
to
extend
the
invitation.
C
D
Their
own
form
or
their
own
facility,
I
would
love
an
extension
to
all
those
people
that
can
it
mentioned.
I
know
I
stopped
by
the
school
district
the
next
morning
wanting
to
also
just
say
that
we
are
partners
in
this
community.
We
serve
the
same
constituents,
so
I
think
this
is
a
way
in
which
to
continue
that
relationship,
so
I'm
in
favor,
okay,.
B
B
E
Let
me
just
suggest
that
the
the
city
protocol
is
prescribed
in
the
Municipal
Code,
the
specific
date
time
and
specific
date
and
time
for
the
biannual
reorganization
of
the
City
Council
and
the
confirmation
of
the
election
results.
It
may
be
the
case,
and
we
don't
know
at
this
time
may
be
the
case
that
the
school
district
operates
under
a
similar
requirement.
E
If
you
will
hearing
the
shall
I
say
the
consensus,
and
let
me
restate
what
I
think
the
consensus
of
those
of
you
who
are
participate
in
the
last
election
and
we're
just
recently
elected,
is
that
we
would
make
an
outreach
to
the
school
district
and
at
least
invite
them
to
celebrate
with
us
and
to
inquire
and
then
I
I
can
confirm
back
to
you
what
their
protocol
is
and
whether
there
is
even
an
opportunity
for
consideration
of
a
joint
ceremony.
I'm,
not
sure
whether
there's
consensus
about
that.
A
A
E
F
I'm
of
the
opinion,
like
the
mayor,
keep
it
within
this,
the
city,
elected
officials,
probably
I,
would
imagine
they've
had
their
own
protocol
for
who
knows
how
long
and
maybe
we'll
find
out
that
they
may
prefer
that
as
well,
but
I
love
the
opinion
that
we
should
keep
within
within
the
city.
Okay,
thank
you.
