Description
San Bruno City Council Meeting September 25, 2012
9. Public Comment
A
Item
number:
nine
is
public
comment
items
not
on
the
agenda.
It
is
the
council's
policy
to
refer
matters
raised
in
this
form
to
staff
for
investigation
interaction
where
appropriate.
The
brown
act
prohibits
the
council
from
discussing
or
acting
upon
any
matter,
not
agendas
pursuant
to
state
law.
Do
anyone
like
to
address
the
council
under
public
comment?
Mr
rico,.
B
Robert
rico,
seventh
avenue
just
like
to
bring
the
council
and
the
viewing
public
up
to
date
on
a
couple
of
things.
The
cemetelle
county,
mosquito
and
vector
control
district
reported
last
week
that
they
had
confirmation
of
a
west
nile
virus
positive
bird
in
foster
city.
They
had
a
actually,
they
had
two
in
foster
city
and
one
in
el
granata.
They
have
set
traps
to
collect
mosquitoes
for
testing
around
all
three
sites.
City
of
san
francisco
also
reported.
B
So
far,
there
have
been
no
positives
found
in
the
san
mateo
county
and
especially
here
in
san
bruno
and,
secondly,
the
pg
e
line.
101
that
runs
just
east
of
the
7th
avenue
property
line
still
has
a
section
exposed.
Pg
e
and
some
of
the
agency
parties
met
on
site
over
a
week
ago
and
discussed
installing
a
temporary
fence
to
protect
this
exposed
pipe
section,
but
even
with
the
support
of
congresswoman
speer's
office
and
assemblyman
hill's
office,
this
protective
fence
still
has
not
been
erected.
B
And,
lastly,
the
other
half
that
I'm
wearing
tonight
is
the
chamber
of
the
chamber,
wants
to
remind
you
that
next
tuesday,
instead
of
coming
to
a
council
meeting
that
wouldn't
have
been
scheduled
anyhow
from
six
to
eight,
they
are
holding
the
fifth
annual
taste
of
san
bruno
and
the
upstairs
in
the
park
and
rec
where
you
can
come
and
sample
various
food
items
from
a
number
of
the
restaurants
in
and
around
san
bruno,
and
we
have
some
raffle
good
raffle
prizes
and
just
good
reason
to
come
out
and
mingle
with
the
ceremony
people.
