September
2013
as
national
prostate
cancer
awareness
month
when
San
Bruno
and
will
read
this

prostate
cancer
is
most
frequently
diagnosed
cancer
in
men,
aside

skin
cancer
in
the
second
leading
cause
of
cancer
death
in
men,
aside
from
lung
cancer,
and
whereas
the
American
Cancer
Society
estimates,
there
will
be
12
239,000
new
cases
of
prostate
cancer
in
the
u.s.
in
2013,
resulting
in
an
estimated
thirty
thousand
deaths,
and
it
is
estimated
one
in
six.
A
Men
will
develop
this
disease
in
their
lifetime
and
whereas
the
exact
causes
of
prostate
cancer
remain
unknown,
but
medical
professionals
have
identified
several
risk
factors
that
can
increase
immense
chances
of
developing
prostate
cancer.
There's
more
common
among
older
men
and
men
with
a
family
history
of
prostate
cancer
as
well
as
african-american.
Men
also
have
a
significantly
higher
risk,
both
of
developing
and
dying
from
the
disease
and
whereas
early
prostate
cancer
usually
has
no
symptoms
and
familiar
predisposition
may
be
responsible
for
five
to
ten
percent
of
the
disease.
