Description
San Bruno City Council Meeting February 11, 2014
11. Personnel Board Annual Report
A
B
If
I
may
on
2013,
some
of
the
accomplishments
that
we
achieved,
we
reviewed
and
recommended
changes
to
three
city:
job
descriptions
from
finance,
police
and
information
technology
departments.
As
the
organization
changes,
new
descriptions
need
to
be
amended
and
reviewed,
go
through
the
Personnel
Board
and
then
to
the
City
Council
for
final
approval.
In
addition,
in
2013
we
recommended
the
extension
of
positions
in
the
fire
captain
position
and
puppets
works,
maintenance,
worker
1
and
2.
B
We
extended
their
eligibility
list
in
2013
and
lastly,
as
far
as
our
compliance
requirements,
we
review
the
2013
equal
opportunity
report,
which
looks
as
the
city's
employment
both
from
the
gender
perspective
as
well
as
ethnicity,
going
forward
2014.
We
will
continue
to
review
the
status
of
any
recruitments.
Current
eligibility
list,
as
well
as
compliance
reports,
continue
to
evaluate
the
recruitment
processes
as
we
deem
necessary,
as
well
as
proctor
written
exams
and
evaluation
tests
as
needed,
and
we
will
continue
to
review
the
city's
job
descriptions
when
they
are
presented
to
us
I.
B
C
Thank
you,
I
congratulate
you
all
your
whole
team.
This
is
tedious
stuff,
but
it's
so
extremely
important
and
it's
really
crucial
that
somebody
outside
of
the
city
family,
so
to
speak,
look
at
all
these
job
descriptions
and
really
take
a
close
look
at
how
we
conduct
our
business.
So
I
really
appreciate
what
you
do.
I
I've
been
involved
a
little
tiny
bit
in
the
last
few
years
and
it's
it's
not
all
fun
and
games.
It's
a
lot
of
work,
but
it's
work
that
needs
to
be
done
and
I
hope
you
realize
how
appreciated
you
are.
