B
And
welcome
to
San
Bruno
libraries
live
online
storytime.
It's
so
nice
to
see
you
this
morning
we're
live-streaming
storytime
from
the
San
Bruno
library's
children's
room,
every
Tuesday
and
Thursday
at
11:15,
I'm,
miss
Barbara
and
next
week.
Miss
Susan
will
be
reading
stories
to
us
on
Tuesday.
So
let's
get
started,
we're
glad.
A
B
B
B
B
B
In
the
fall
flowers
die,
the
weather
becomes
too
cold
for
monarchs.
Many
monarch,
butterflies
fly
south
to
warm
Mexico,
see
the
moans,
so
many
monarchs
in
the
sky.
You
could
also
see
them
on
the
California
coast.
They
overwinter
in
different
places
in
the
Bay
Area,
and
also
in
Santa
Cruz
and
further
down
the
coast.
So
our
monarchs
fly
down
the
California
coast,
the
traveling
monarchs
sleep
at
night.
They
hang
in
bushes
and
trees.
B
Hundreds
of
monarchs
cling
to
the
trunk
of
this
tree.
They
have
finally
arrived
in
Mexico.
They
will
rest
like
this.
All
winter,
see
how
they're
all
together
when
spring
comes
the
Monarchs
return
to
the
north.
What
else
happens
in
spring
with
the
Monarchs
mm-hmm?
What
do
you
think
spring
is
time
to
begin
laying
eggs?
Of
course,
female
monarchs
lay
their
eggs
under
leaves
of
milkweed
plants.
That's
the
only
kind
of
plant
that
a
monarch
will
lay
its
eggs
on
is
a
milkweed
plant.
Each
egg
is
tiny
and
sticky.
It
stays
stuck
to
its
leaf.
B
B
B
B
B
B
So
I,
don't
have
my
words
behind
me
this
morning,
but
we
can
still
have
songs
and
rhymes
together.
I
have
some
butterfly
rhymes,
and
this
next
one
is
to
the
tune
of
row
row
row
your
boat,
so
we're
gonna
start
out
with
hatch,
hatch,
little
egg
I'm,
so
very
small,
teeny,
tiny
caterpillar.
You
can't
see
me
at
all
hatch
hatch
little.
B
A
A
Wings,
it's
a
special
day
soon
they
will
be
strong
enough
for
me
to
fly
away
stretch,
stretch
pretty
wings.
It's
a
special
day
soon.
They
will
be
strong
enough
for
me
to
fly
away
all
right.
Let's
fly
away,
fly
fly,
fly,
fly,
fly
butterfly,
fly
from
flower
to
tree,
find
a
place
to
lay
my
egg,
so
they
can
grow
like
me,
and
you
remember
from
our
book
what
kind
of
plant
they
need
to
lay
their
eggs.
That's
right.
A
A
Form
chrysalis
I'm
a
different
shape
hanging
by
a
silken
thread
until
I
can
escape
rest
rest
chrysalis,
while
I
change
inside
now.
At
last.
My
time
has
come
to
be
a
butterfly
stretch,
stretch
pretty
wing
it's
a
special
day.
Soon
they
will
be
strong
enough
for
me
to
fly
away.
Fly
fly
butterfly,
fly
from
flower
to
tree,
find
a
place
to
lay
my
eggs,
so
they
can
grow.
Like
me,
very
good,
excellent,
ok,.
B
So
the
next
story-
I
have
this-
is
a
story
about
a
monarch,
a
migrating
monarch
and
its
friend
the
turtle.
It's
called
hurry
and
the
monarch-
and
this
is
by
Antoine
Oh
a
plethora
and
illustrated
by
Melo
so
and
it's
published
by
Alfred
a
Knopf
I'm
happy
to
be
able
to
read
it
to
you.
Hurry
and
the
monarch
is
not
beautiful.
There's
hurry
right
there.
What
is
hurry?
A.
B
B
What
do
you
call
this
place?
Ask
the
monarch,
Wichita
Falls,
said
hurry
and
that's
my
back
you're
standing
on
Wichita
Falls
not
far
enough,
says
the
monarch
not
far
enough
for
what
says
hurry
for
staying
for
the
monarch,
with
that
the
monarch
opens
her
wing
and
flies
off
hurries
back
I
level
with
hurry.
Now
the
monarch
seems
fascinated
with
the
old
tortoise
long.
Have
you
been
here,
as
the
monarch
seems
like
forever,
since
hurry,
maybe
one
day
you'll
break
out
of
that
she'll
grow
wings
and
fly
away
as
a
monarch
I
doubt
it
says
hurry.
B
Where
did
this
happen
asks
hurry
far
away
in
a
place
called
Canada
in
a
garden
just
like
this?
Why
did
you
leave
asked
hurry?
The
day's
got
colder
said
the
monarch.
What
do
you
do
when
the
days
get
colder?
Sleep
answers
hurry
cold
days,
always
change
back
into
warm
days.
If
you
wait,
I
don't
have
time.
For
that
says
the
monarch
flying
away
from
the
garden.
B
B
B
B
B
Butterflies
can
be
infuriatingly,
mysterious
thinks
hurry
watching
the
monarch
lay
eggs
on
a
milkweed
plant.
Then
she
flies
away
in
the
town
of
Stillwater.
She
flies
through
an
open
window
and
thinks
it
might
be
nice
to
rest.
Her
warm
right
wings
for
a
while
in
the
folds
of
a
Sun
colored
curtain
for
a
while
becomes
forever.
B
B
B
After
a
few
hours,
the
monarch
spreads
his
strong
new
wings
and
flies
towards
hurry
landing
on
his
back.
What
do
you
call
this
place?
Ask
the
monarch
here
we
go
again
says
hurry
as
the
monarch
opens
his
wings
and
flies
off
hurries
back.
What's
your
hurry
asked
hurry
I'm
off
to
see
the
world?
What
do
you
think?
It's
like?
That's
the
butterfly
I
imagine
says
hurry
slowly,
I!
B
B
Ok,
let's
say
good
morning
to
butterflies,
so
I
learned
this
a
long
time
ago.
It's
about
birds,
but
it's
a
good
song
or
a
good
rhyme
for
a
butterfly,
so
we're
gonna
say
way
up
in
the
sky.
The
butterflies
fly
way
down
in
the
nest,
the
butterflies
for
rest
with
a
wing
to
the
left
and
a
wing
to
the
right,
the
sweet,
little
butterflies
sleep
all
through
the
night,
they're
sleeping
then
in
the
morning
the
bright
Sun
comes
up.
A
B
Fly
well
down
in
their
nest,
the
butterflies
rest
with
a
wing
to
the
left
and
a
wing
to
the
right,
the
sweet,
little
butterfly
sleep
all
through
the
night,
they're
sleeping,
then
the
right
Sun
comes
up.
The
do
falls
away
and
good
morning,
good
morning
the
butterflies
say
way
up
in
the
sky.
The
butterflies
fly
way
down
the
nest,
the
butterflies
rest
with
a
wing
to
the
left
and
the
wing
to
the
right.
The
sweet,
little
butterflies
sleep
all
through
the
night,
they're
sleeping
the
bright
Sun
comes
up.
B
B
B
Have
you
ever
tried
to
follow
a
butterfly,
sometimes
they're
hard
to
follow?
They
fly
fast
and
all
over
the
place.
The
story
is
about
following
a
butterfly
and
finding
yourself
and
being
found.
It's
called
in
the
meadow
and
it's
written
by
you
Kiko
Cato
and
illustrated
by
Camacho
Sakai,
and
it's
published
by
enchanted,
lions,
books
and
I'm
happy
to
be
able
to
read
it
to
you.
A
B
A
B
B
A
B
B
B
Okay,
so
let's
wrap
up
our
story
time
we're
gonna
sing
the
rainbow
song
and
then
they
did
by
song.
Then
I'll
tell
you
about
the
next
story:
time
before
I.
Do
that,
though,
I
want
to
reflect.

my

it's
as
yellow
as

and
the
grass
is
as
green
as
green
Kranthi
am.
The
sky
is,
as
blue
as
blue
can
be
rainbow
rainbow
rainbow
around
me.
Rainbow
rain,
Oh
rain
around
me
and
the
butterflies
outside
my
window
are
his

be
